Hi, I'm Don bewdley co-founder before international and we're here in San Diego California, at the u4u school, I'm here with Mirza our global team educator and we're going to be demonstrating the volumizing bump. Yes, so big things are coming back volumes, making a huge comeback this year, which we love and a lot of people are wondering how to put volume into the hair simple way. Easiest way to do. It is by back homing right into the root of the hair. So if you want a little bit of volume on your part, you're simply going to take a thin section and take a comb with slightly separated teeth, push it in press down and be very careful when you're back homing. You know you don't want to rip it. Your hair, at all, no you don't you don't want to tear through the hair and especially blonde hair, is a lot more fragile. So you don't want to damage it anymore and the greatest part about back combing like this is the comb up process for you, the client, because then you don't have any discomfort when you comb it back out of the hair okay. So then you can take the sections you've already done and combine them with your new section to give it even more structure and volume. Okay, so there's one side, then you can come to the opposite side. Do the same thing. I would say a lot of the people who grew up in this 6070. S can do this, but you know the younger kids to really. You know, learn how to do it. Do it properly. You just want to make sure that you think of your hair is silk all the time you know so that you don't damage it at all, absolutely and the great thing about this for blondes. This is a good tip too, when you have a little bit of a root, creating volume at the scalp, actually diffuses the intensity of the contrast of your root. So if you can't get to the hairdresser as quickly as you'd, like put some volume in your hair and it'll, distract from the fact that you haven't been in in a while and then you go into the crown area and you do the same thing: lift the Section now the front may be easier with crown could be a little a little more difficult. You know doing it at home. Absolutely so you want to make sure that you, once you section the hair, go ahead and pull it forward almost over directed forward and then do your teasing just like that, and we prop the canvas. Also, I mean you know you want to use a hairspray, a working hairspray. You know such as you fora and we've already done this just to give the hair a little bit more hold, but you don't want to be a really hard hold hairspray. Oh you'll. Never get your comb through the hair exactly now, once you put the back combing and at the root, all you have to do is smooth the hair and place it where you want it. So you don't go over the teased part, which is usually about two or three inches. You just want to really smooth the ends out and at the very end, exactly you know smooth over where your teased a little bit, so you just want to kind of blend. It into the rest of the hair, but still maintaining that volume. So you get the bumpier. You got a bump here and get a little bit of lift in the front, so it doesn't stick to your face or get oilier and then a little bit on the other side for balance, and then you can always put your hands in it. Also, you know to lift the hair, absolutely win it there. You go, have to just sort of lift it a little bit more and some ladies, like it a little bit Messier. So there's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to have it perfectly smooth to have volume into it can definitely mess it up a little bit once you're done simply take your hairspray and you follow up for hold and that's how you put a volumizing bump into your hair. You
