Hey, Loves! I recently cut my hair to chin length and love the many possibilities in styling this hairstyle! All you basically need is a curling iron to make tight curls or add volume to your cute bob. Here, I do a little bit of both curling and volumizing to achieve that "messy," carefree hair effect!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so, as you can see, I recently chopped off all my hair to this link right up to my chin, because it's so easy to manage and it really looks cute for fall time. So this is what I did, and many of you suggested that I do a styling video, a hair, styling video from my Instagram. So here it is, it's basically about making very loose voluminous curls and brushing it out and if you very full and natural, so I hope you enjoy it and let's get started so. The first part is, of course, to part your hair, and I personally like to flip it to one side and just grabbing it right along this line here and party it to one side. Don'T forget your heat protectant spray. I got this a couple days ago from Target and this is by Pantene and it's really nice, so just spritz it all over and toss your hair around as you spritz. So it's evenly coated, you can run your fingers through to let it dry faster. So I'm going to let the heat, protectant spray settle into place and dry into my hair before we go ahead and use the iron curler, so the curling iron that I love to use is by Conair, and this is really inexpensive. You can get it at any of your local Target or drugstore for about 21 dollars, and I like it because it has a pretty thick barrel and you can clamp that a hair strands into place as you're curling. So this is the type of curler that you pretty much want to use when you're styling, short hair, so taking my first strand of hair, I'm going to clamp it right at the end and curl it inwards. This is a technique that I learned recently from my hairstylist who cut my hair, and this is going to give you really natural, loose curls and waves and slowly take it out, and this is what you're going to be doing pretty much for your entire head of Hair when you reach the back portion of your hair, try to make some loose curls by releasing the wand sooner than you did when you were working on the front curls and to the other side, we're going to do an extra step here, using a hair, straightener And going from the top bring it all the way down and curl it inwards. You don't necessarily have to do this extra step if you want to keep your curls, tighter and springier, but I'm doing it this way, because I want my hair to look a little bit more natural and voluminous, and once that is done, you can go right ahead And curl just the ends of your hair, giving that final last touch bring out that comb and comb everything into place, and that completes the look. So that completes my very easy to do: hair styling for short hair like this. I hope you enjoyed it and you can really just brush your fingers through it a little bit less here and it just looks great. Just tell your stylist that you want a slightly below the chin length cut without layers (slightly below the chin is good since curling will make your hair right at chin level)~ Also specify that you want your hair parting to be on one side, as opposed to straight down the middle :) xx
