Just for that perfect hair day, when you just want it to be perfect, no hey babes! Welcome back to my channel. Thank you so very much for watching. I know what you're thinking I look crazy, don't panic! So, first and foremost, we've got my hair split down the middle in two different sections. So in today's video I'm gon na be walking you through how you can create completely different textures from how you apply your stylers and what stylers is use in general. So we're gon na be going over the praying hands method, the scrunching method, all that jazz, I'm gon na, be showing you how to create different textures. If you want more definition, if you want more volume, a little break, everything down and hopefully it'll - be really really helpful. Let'S jump in the shower and get started. I really want for the focus of this video to be all about styling techniques, so I'm gon na make this part really short and simple for those of you who are maybe new to embracing your natural hair texture, I highly highly recommend focusing your shampoo strictly on Your roots and down to your mid hair shot when you go to rinse your hair, I assure you the suds will go all the way to the end that ends of your hair. Just really don't need to be shampooed and it's basically just gon na dry. Your ends out moving on to conditioner we're kind of going the opposite direction here, so you want to start with your conditioner from this end to mid hair shops and anything. That'S left over on your hands put a little bit on your roots. They need a little love too, but we don't want to weigh our roots down. We want volume so at this point, you're gon na want to meet tangle your hair, whatever works best for you, I have personally found using a detangling brush, is best for me personally, and I will of course, store start from the bottom and work my way. All the way to the top with the conditioner in my hair, this one is from pros and then rinse everything, but I want to talk to you about today, is what I personally look for in a styler to create my big volume and definition, and all that Jazz, but I also want to discuss with you the different methods and techniques to apply your stylers, because there are so many there scrunching there squish to condition, there's the praying hands, muffin, there's the Laura method, there's the Spicer method; ok, spikes, just upside-down method and there's So many more so I really want to walk you through different ways to apply stylers and physically show you different techniques. On each side of my hair, I'm really show you how you can manipulate your waves, quills or curls to create different styles from day to day, and I want to give a big big. Thank you to pros for sponsoring today's video. They just came out with a brand new Crow cream and I could not be more excited about it. You guys know I love their products. I'Ve worked with them many times. I genuinely love working with pros and I'm really excited for today's video. So I'm gon na tell you a little bit more information about their brand new curl cream and then we're gon na put this bad boy to the test. So you can really see how it performs and we're gon na do some different techniques get some different results and you can try it and see and figure out what worked best for you, because how you style your hair is key. Let'S do this, those are you. Don'T know pros is a custom haircare line, so if you are new to pros, you will simply go online and take a quiz, and it will ask you a variation of questions from what is your geographic location? Like a do you live in a humid climate? Do you experience hard water? Do you have color treated hair? Are you sensitive to fragrance they really get down to the nitty-gritty so that they can create the custom personalized formulation just for you, which is really just what makes Pro so special, and I have so many of you guys message me personally, that you are really sensitive To smells and products and asking for more neutral scented products, a great thing about pros that they have 8 signature, scents and fragrances that you can choose from for your haircare or you can choose completely fragrance free, which is genius, and I just really really love you Can also choose if you want for your products to have silicones in them if they are silicones they're water soluble, but if you don't want for it touch silicones, they can also custom the formulation to be silicon free. They are also cruelty. Free gluten-free and vegan free, vegan, they're vegan, and they never ever have sulfates parabens GMOs, mineral oils or dilates. So basically, none of the bad and all of the good. Let'S get to the good ingredients that are in here, not because this is custom haircare. Each formulation will be different from person to person, depending on, if you have to a hair 4c hair, all that jazz. However, in their new curl cream, they do have some ingredients that will be across the board in all products. The first ingredient extract, which is really going to shape and form your curls. I don't know if you guys have seen the videos of youtubers doing like the flaxseed gel and all that jobs. I think it's a very new, like innovative ingredient that all the curly girls are talking about and it's like all the rage, and I really do see the difference from that ingredient in this product. Another one, of course, being shea extracts to a nourish and condition. There'S also bay of AB proteins, which is gon na, give strength to your hair, just simply so that it doesn't lead to breakage, and then you have to kind of start all over again. It'S not gon na give you too much protein or anything like that and kyoya Liz, a key ingredient in this to add shine and moisture and hydration so that you have it for his free locks. For date, let's go ahead and put this product to the test. We'Re jumping in okay, so I went ahead and rewetting my hair. This is gon na, be, I don't want to say our no side, because if it's not a right and wrong way to style your hair necessarily, but this is gon na, be the side of how I typically style it. How I prefer my hand turnout out, I like, for my hand, turnout. This will just be different techniques that I wouldn't necessarily do, but that doesn't mean that they're wrong or bad, or anything like that. So when I get out of the shower, I like to wait. 15 to 20 minutes, roughly before applying my cream stylers, I find that the longer you wait, the more kind of fluffy beachy, the luminous weightless volume you get, whereas if you put styler on sopping, wet hair, it's gon na be more weigh down, but I'll also typically Be more defined, so it kind of just depends on what look you're going for next we're gon na jump in with our stylers. So on this side, of course, I will be using the approach curl cream, so you can really see it in action. How I would use it on a day-to-day basis, whereas on this side I'm gon na use like a thicker butter styler. So you can see the difference that this cream really makes in my hair decide. I'M gon na be applying like a thicker buttery styler mask situation that I would not recommend if you have like a finer wavier. Hair texture, like mine, show we're gon na be also starting from the top that I'm gon na do more of the praying hands technique which, in my opinion, really drags out. Your curl pattern um, it kind of weighs it down, so I'm just brushing this through, so that it's really evenly dispersed in my hair, which will create a really nice frizz free look, but it will change the curl pattern a little bit and then on this side Of course, I'm gon na be using the pros curl cream, so you don't need a lot. I would do like a pump and a half personally and then just mix in your hands, and you can see how this is such like a light. It'S not sticky, but it doesn't smell like really anything and then we're going to actually start applying the product from the bottom to the top, as opposed to the top to bottom. I like to kind of like coat the outer edge with my hands and just kind of make sure that, like everything, is coated slowly working my way to the top personally, don't like to apply a ton of product to the root of my hair. That'S where I get my volume and my lip so I'll just barely coat the top put a little bit underneath and throughout, but I don't like for there to be a lot of heavy product on my roots, cuz. I feel like that will wet your hair down. I'M gon na do a little paint more just like that. Much now, I'm going to scrunch the product into my hair. What is gon na create tire just like that messy beachy wavy. Look that I love and really bring out my natural texture with the scrunching method. On slightly more damp hair, as opposed to sopping wet, you still want to hear that squish sound. You know what I'm talking about this sound. That'S the sound! You still want to be able to hear that. So you don't not figure to be so dry that you don't hear that squish sound, but you also don't want it to be soaking wet that it's just like squeezing out a bunch of water. If you want for your hair to turn out more similarly to mine, and this frenching method will also help for your waves and curls to kind of separate, whereas this method is gon na, give you more at a clumped curl pattern. So your hair will look a little bit like thinner and closer together. You know, have more clumped, perfect curls right as this side will be kind of separated and fluffy and voluminous. I just want to quickly note before we continue that you can already see the difference and how each side of my hair is turning out. Even while it's wet this side is a lot more like PC kind of like less perfect, more like beachy volume, and this side is a little bit more like perfect kind of more flat. This side is creating a much more clumpy curled look. So it's a lot like thicker pieces of curls, as opposed to like smaller, more individual waves. So that's really difference in styles that we're creating and that just give totally different feels next when it comes to locking in your cream styler. I personally like to use a gel, a very lightweight gel and I like to a simply apply it with the praying hands style. So I will just kind of slide and glide the gel over my hair to create a cast, but I don't use a lot. I use such a tiny amount, she's a teeny bit on the top teeny bit, so we don't get that kind of like halo, frizz effect teeny bit underneath and that would has helped to lock in the moisture from our pros curl cream pros products. I find cocktail really really nicely together. They have a leave-in conditioner dry shampoo. Their oil is one of my all-time favorites. I just got a new bottle. I am actually gon na use a little bit of this on my ends, just kind of like seal in the ends and just have them look really really shiny and fresh and hydrated, and all of that jazz. Just for that perfect hair day, when you just want it to be perfect, you know and just to note the curl cream works incredibly well by itself. You don't have to add anything to it. You don't have to cocktail, but their products do work well together. If you are that person who likes to canna whip it up in the kitchen now on this side, I'm going to use a lot of gel and I'm gon na really create that more like hard cast to my hair and I'm actually going to scrunch in the Gel right away, which is something I just don't think you should do in general - you don't really want for the gel to go into your waves into your curls. You want to kind of sit on top and create a nice cast and barrier from in the environment, but you don't really want that gel, like in your curls cuz, then they're just gon na kind of create like a crunchy, crispy curl. Then nobody really wants. If you do hey more power to you, um, so yeah we're going to oh gosh, this is just like kind of hurting me a little bit like this side of my hair, I'm just like. Oh, what am I gon na do? How am I gon na look tomorrow? I mean this is gon na be tragic. It'S fine! It'S fine! We'Re back! Let'S watch Disney Channel movie, anyone nope just the 90s babies. Alright, I mean, does anything needs to be said, like I'm just like what this side has. So much shine volume thickness definition. The definition is still there. I have to know like. Yes, there is severe definition on this side, but the definition is here as well. It'S just also bouncy and voluminous and thick and all that jazz, whereas this side literally looks wet and I have scrunched out. I have scrunched out both of these sides. This side isn't like not scrunched out both casts have been removed. It'S just from all the techniques that we did on this side. This is what you get so I know that I look crazy with a middle part. Middle parts aren't my jam. It'S just not a good look for my face. Sorry, I keep looking at the month. You'Re, like oh yeah anyhoo, I hope this video was helpful. I hope it was insightful. I hope that it showed you what this pros curl cream is made of what it can really do for your hair. I mean the difference is uncanny, but also saying simply how you apply. Your products is essential to please feel free leave. Questions comments. Concerns compliments photo in the comments down below. I always always want this to be a safe space, a safe community, where we can ask questions whether it's about hair or whatever else advice on anything I'm here for you guys so yeah. I love y'all, fake big. Thank you to pros for sponsoring today's video and let me know what videos you want to see. Next, all right love! You guys bye,

DontSkipABeatEquestrian: Does anyone else have the problem of your roots being straight/ just a little wavy then the ends being pretty curly?

Lisser Lou: I wish the same products had been used on both sides so we could really see the impact of technique.

jana: Honestly as someone with short hair who gets volume pretty easily, I love the no side! I really go for definition. Ahh, the curly community is so wonderfully diverse

Diane Galaz: It's honestly SUCH a relief to finally find a curly YouTubed with pretty much the same exact curl pattern as me. Most videos I find are for super curly girls, and I don't seem to find many for us wavy/curly girls lol so THANK YOU for making such great content. Also, great video!! My hair ends up a lot like the soaking wet side, so I’ll be trying your way from now on! What’s your favorite gel?

Wendy Crew: Even after doing the cgm for over a year, I still feel like there is so much to learn and different techniques to get the look you want. I like big fluffy hair too but can't always achieve it. This video really helped and it worked great on my hair this morning. Thanks for sharing!

Diana Reynolds: Nobody: Her: Ps Holy crap 1K? Thank you SO SO MUCH

Kristen Bellows: I had a curly stylist recommend adding styler to soaking wet hair so I tried it again but my hair just gets way more volume, definition and tighter curls when I style with damp hair. I do scrunch in gel and my hair does fine with it.

Fee V: Girl when I first saw this I was like “damp styling?! Putting on products outside the shower? Yikes, not for me!” & I was cringing just like you were doing the “no” side but I gave it a go and my hair looks amazing.....will definitely be implementing this 15 minute wait time from now on!!!!

Bridget Ann: Omg. Thank you! My hair looks like the "wet" side of your head. I needed this. I am still in transition for my curly hair but these techniques will definitely help. If you have any other ideas and helpful tips please share. :)

Alpha Lily: My hair has never been curly until this year. I've been looking for someone that has similar hair to mine and yours is identical! Thank you for all the tips! ❤

A. Med: I have a curl pattern very similar to yours and have been trying to get the "beachy" look instead of the defined curls...tried this method and it was a success! Thank you for sharing!!

Audrey: I have read, watched, listened to every curl wavy self help, and I am like what? This made sense! You actually really helped me realize what the heck I'm doing wrong. I shall go forth with an education that makes sense. Thanks Prose. Thank you India. God bless you.

ivi122: I love how you did one half of your hair one way and the other a different way. It showed clearly what we’ve been doing wrong

MLS: Hi India=) Thanks for all of your awesome tips & reviews! I am new to the curly hair stuff as I have just discovered my natural 2a/b waves. Loved your mom's video, by the way, I am almost 50 so I can relate with her situation of straightening/curling for years. I just found MANES BY MELL, LOVE her channel too. She totally explains how the main ingredients work (like glycerin) & why we end up with a bad hair day if you use the wrong thing. Most importantly how to choose the right products for the weather/temps in your area. Check her out =)

mrrp huh: Extremely helpful!! Thank you so much for showing the comparison. I’ve been applying the products like you did on the “not so favored” side expecting to get results like the favored side. Ughhh clarityyyy lol ✨☀️ Oh happy day!! I can now apply the products the right way for the outcome I’m wanting. Wooot thank you again! :D

Rachel: Cool video and great explanations! Will be trying a couple tricks tomorrow :) My hair is a bit curlier than yours (more like 3a 3b) so Im always fighting between volume and definition. Only person I've seen with both is Bianca Renee (and I've just accepted her hair is a miracle lol) Also loved how Spisha gets a whole method named after her followed by laughter cause no one has her dedication lol

Brittney Ramey: So adding volume on day one after washing my hair has been such a struggle! Waiting the little bit of time before applying my gel and curl cream has made a huge difference!!! And it helps cut down on my defusing time! I use several methods you use in your which has helped so much! Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks!

Aessary: I seriously appreciate the work you put into helping us with our hair!!! Thank you!!! My only disappointment is I just washed my hair so I have to wait to try these techniques! And that I just bought a new styler... have to put prose on the waitlist!!

Stephanie Baird: The difference is astounding!! I am definitely going to try the technique that you used on your fluffy side. Usually I use praying hands, but I have pretty thin hair (and not a lot of it) so even after scrunching I have less volume than I'd like. Thank you so much for this video!!!

Joyful Noise Learning: Help for Homeschoolers: This is great! Just got my first order of Prose for my daughter and I and we love it! She has more of a curl than I do, but mine is definitely wavy! We will have to try the curl cream. Maybe that will bring out my wave even more

Cici K: Omg, I actually do the "dead side" routine but as soon as my hair dries it still gets really fluffy (and at bad days frizzy) bc my hair just wants to be straight up apparently. But now I know I'm doing what I can to get it a bit more "down".

Lizzy Donovan: I honestly love both. Sometimes I go for the more defined flatter but sometimes I like the fluffier look. It depends on what my hair feels like doing that day cause my hair literally has a mind of its own

Margaret Lopez: I always used to do my hair like the less voluminous side and loved it because I didn't like "BIG" hair. Now in teaching my daughter how to care for her hair, I've learned to love volume and am encouraging her to do the same. I'm still playing around with products and techniques to see what give us each (our hair is completely different...mine if fine bigger curls like a 2b, 2c with some 3a but hers is a very thick and full 3b) the best volume, minus frizz.

Sophia Wallen: I love you India! You taught me to rock my curls, for as long as I could remember I straighted my super curly hair. But now after watching your videos I wear my natural curls! So thank you, I love you♥️♥️

Pets with Posture: I’m like 3 weeks into my hair journey, my hairs kinda still unmanageable but on a good day it’s around a 2b 2c and even some ringlets underneath, these videos are so helpful, thanks gal xx

Jessica: Great video! I have the exact same curly hair as you and I’ve never met anyone else with the same curls. I may be trying this product :) and YES to the Disney channel reference, 90s baby too!! Thanks again girl!

LemonadeLaura: This was a really really good reminder vid. Over time, I find that I can fall into some slightly bad habits for my wave/curl type after trying different products.

amelia p: who else is trying to figure out their hair pattern/texture during quarantine

KATHERlNE: Ahhhh I've been wet styling my hair for months because I thought it was the only way to not get frizz! I've just been putting up with how flat it looks ALL THE TIME... I think I might move wash day to tomorrow just so I can try this! Oh, watch out world !

jay hulrs: This is crazy! I am doing everything wrong! I thought I had to add products to soaking hair and coat in gel. I took notes, trying tomorrow

Gather, Create, Live with Leslie H.: I know there are people that love both sides, but I want the do side for me. Thanks for showing how using too heavy of a product can weigh the hair down. I see this a lot. I prefer the looser beach look, but my hair will do a tighter coil depending on how I do it. The heavier products also build up pretty quick

Gena Marie: Loved this! I did a video recently using the same product, but 4 different application techniques and i was shocked at how much the methods in which you apply product makes an impact!

Katie Triggs: My hair always looks like the left side! Now I know what I’m doing wrong! Got a diffuser as well! Can’t wait to try these tips! Thank you!

Starya: Styling starts at 5:30

Jessine Hein: I also feel like I can't pull off a middle part, but I have to say you look gorgeous with a middle part! :) Thanks for this video, never heard of letting the hair dry for 15 before applying, I'll try this, as my hair is very similar to yours.

Farah: This has got to be the most helpful video about styling I've ever seen thank yooouuu so much! Now I get why my hair looks so greasy and flat all the time haha.

Stephanie Hill: Thanks so much for this great information! Super helpful, especially for a newbie to curly girl styling

AllthingsbeautybyCalee: I loved this tutorial! I will be trying this today after the gym girl! Thank you and God Bless! ✝️

Becky Boos: Ahh thank you for this video! All the curly hair videos are for hair so much curlier and thicker than me hair and it ends up looking stringy and flat and weighed down now I know where I’m going wrong! Thank you!

Bianca Ortiz: I’m coming to the conclusion that I have wavy hair and I’m SO anxious about starting because I have no idea what I’m doing. Thank you for this video.

Julia B: Will you do a video where you try finger curling your hair? I know you usually prefer volume over definition, but it would be cool to see how your hair would look using a totally different styling technique! I have hair similar to yours and I do it sometimes when I want a more formal "perfect" type of look

Janneke Louwes: Ohhhhh... eye opening video! I did all the stuff on the ‘no side’ while wanting it to look like the ‘yes side’! Thank you so so much for explaining... just wondered if you air dried or ... how? And if you used some oil or product to scrunch out the crunch. Thank you! You’re so bubbly, love your energy

Novalee Jones: Thank you so much!!!!!!! I’ve been trying to get volume since I’m started wearing and caring for my hair naturally. I didn’t know I had curly hair I just thought I had really frizzy, poofy, thick , straight hair. I really love the videos and your videos and other people’s video have helped me and I love my hair way more now. Thank you so much!!

Teresa Steffensmeier: Thank you for this video and for really showing the techniques and what they can do or not do for your hair. I'm still learning a lot of things but I'm really enjoying your channel.

amanda brock: I've been searching for a video just like this. My hair is super straight and I have a 5 year old curly girl. I've been following methods and techniques but now I understand them!

Carolin Zoé: Always wanted the fluffy side and got the calm side ❤️ right now trying it your way, hoping my waves keep their curves a lil longer than with the method i was using any wavies figured out the problem of super cute and defined wet waves and ringlets vs flat frizzy dry no definition hair with kinda one or two big curves? ❤️

alaska2002: India! thank you for this video! I had NO idea why my hair was so flat and crunchy. Thank you for this <3

corinnaphotos77: I’m going to try applying my gel differently and wait a bit before applying and see if that makes a difference. This was really helpful and advice I haven’t seen in the 1M other videos!

Kristina Steputis: You did it again India! This really was informative! Have you tried Jessicurl before? If not, I personally would love to see your results ❤️

Cat Kreinbihl: I love your curls!! Just ordered my prose set again! Thanks to you

Carla Carneiro: OMG, PEQUI OIL! I'm thrilled! I have never seen an international brand using this oil before. I'm from Montes Claros, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and the pequi is a typical fruit of my region, also my city is known as the "Capital of Pequi", and we have an "Annual Pequi Festival", with a lot of dishes made with this fruit hahaha. An interesting fact is that even the people of my city don't appreciate the value of this oil, or don't even know about its properties for hair use. The fruit is very well known in our typical cuisine, and that's it. I just discovered your channel, and I already loved it!

Taylor Muha: I just ordered my first Prose products since I’ve heard nothing but good things! After 2 months of using nothing but Deva Curl, my hair is thinning and I am losing so much anytime i run my fingers through it or detangle and now my scalp is burning even 2 days after washing. Never again will I go with DC. I’m so pumped to try Prose!

handy randy: Omg that you so much!! I've felt so frustrated because my hair had no volume. I would do that exact technique of the "wet look" and I was not happy with how it looked. I want more volume and now I know how, thank you for the technique!! Can't wait to try this out tommorow!

Jessica Galyon: 3 wks into CGM & coming back. I learned I HATE the whole curl clumping & the way it looks. So I made my own “lazy girl method” just damp styling & not trying too much. I prefer this look too. Only issue is some days it looks crazy & I can’t tell what I’m doing wrong. I get halo frizz sometimes. And if I use moisturizing products, it sits on my low po hair looking greasy on the ends & still frizzing at my head. If anyone sees me.. help!?

VeeVee: Omg how funny, my hair always looks like the fluffier side and I want the "calmer" side lol! Now I know how to do it

Esmeralda Santos: Wow. This was so helpful, I didn't realize how much simply the way you apply your styler affects the texture of your curls. Thank you so much for this ❣️

paige burleson: Every time I looked in the mirror my curls looked more and more perfect as night progressed through rainy football game and more, I was watching this in the process earlier hopeful I could get some tips and referenced her funny PERFECT!!! And now as I look my curls look better than I’ve ever seen for reference I’m (42) , so seriously my curly sisters want some good curl this chicks got the rundown!!!! Thanku bunches, absolutely subbing now!!!

star seed: Yes yes yes sister. So SICK of the RULES that do not work for all of us!When I first started wanting to wear my hair wavy, and deva curl and the curly girl method and applying soaking wet products didn’t work for me I thought it was MY HAIR and I gave up!! For over a year! I started straightening blow drying and curling every day again. Fast forward to now, I know different techniques, different products, what works for my hair.. different ways I can manipulate my natural texture to get different looks - loose beach waves, tighter waves and curls ETC! Nothing is “right” or “wrong” ! No product is right or wrong no method .. life is not black and white ! The same thing will not work for everyone. Just posting this so if someone reads it who was in my position .. don’t give up on your hair. My hair loves damp styling, silicones, sulfates, brushing, heat

HillyBilly Sam: I wish there were some non-sponsored updated product//routine videos... It is so difficult to find wavies that have similar hair types and issues as me with similar hair goals. It would be nice to see products used in your every day hair life now especially because a lot of the sponsored products are US only or hard to find. Thanks!!

Molly DeMarco: okay, question. How early must one get up to accomplish all of the wash day tasks? I've always been a nighttime showerer, but now as i've discovered the CG method i've started to shower in the morning. I can never get my hair done and dry and usually run out of the house with wet crunchy hair! I feel like this is rarely talked about in the curl community.

gemstar 2: Appreciate you being clear there is no right or wrong way to style ~

Martha R: Thanks for the video! I didn't really know why my hair kept turning out like the flat crunchy side. My light waves just can't handle it! Can't wait to try for volume. Love your vids. I learn so much.

Maddie: India: “There’s not a right and wrong way to style your hair” Title of video: “curly hair styling mistakes you are making”

yensid: This was very helpful. I'm very fragrance sensitive & cannot use oils on my skin/scalp so finding good hatrcare products is a nightmare.

Patricia Szoke: This was entertaining AND helpful. I truly learned a lot

Janique: New sub! I have same type of curl/wave as you but length past mid back presently. I definitely am still working on doing my hair right lol and will be trying the routine you normally do

Linden Peters: I have never seen anyone start the praying hands technique at their roots like that, but rather at mid-shaft. Maybe that's part of the "wrong" technique you were talking about! I have to kind of combine these two methods. I have tried your roping/coating technique for applying products, and I end up with definition ONLY on my outer layers, with pure frizz/no definition underneath! So for me, I have to make sure and scrunch my products in. I'd be interested to see how a Denman brush works on your hair. Instead of brushing your hair flat, you turn it as though you're creating curls with a flat iron. This distributes the product and also emphasizes curls, rather than stretching them. It is surprising! Might not be your favorite results, but it's ust another of many techniques to experiment with and demonstrate for our entertainment, haha!

M M: This was very helpful I’m 16 and my hair is very heat damaged and has gotten very thin do you have any tips on what I can do to get rid of frizz ? Xx

Jessica Lee: I'd love to see a video on how to know if your hair needs protein or not. Total newbie in learning how to deal with my curls and trying to figure out which products are best for my hair. Thanks for this styler application video. It is incredibly helpful!

Amanda Kunz: I washed my hair yesterday...but suddenly I want to try out this method! While my hair doesn’t completely look like the left side - it has no volume on top! I always thought it was just because I have thin flat hair...but I need to be applying my products differently!

Cha: I have days I wanna shave my head & I did do a fade but the growing out process is haunting me now. I have like 3 different curly hair patterns so I get lazy & the weather is the WORST. Bless you India cause ima try this method and ima pray it works out

Ingrid Cabanilla: through your videos, I'm learning to take care of my 2B/2A locks. Thank you! What is your opinion on the Denman 7-row hairbrush on 2B/2A wave/swavy hair? Is it necessary or a skip item?

Cyndi Kehrli: India, I agree about the praying hands technique. It totally straightens my hair.

Asha Vere: I've been wondering what I've been doing wrong as to why my hair has seemed so flat. I'm going to try and start waiting to put my stylers in, instead of putting them in immediately after I get out of the shower

Haleigh Watkins: Honestly, I feel like the curl cream should be your new holy grail! It has the perfect amount of definition and volume.

Amez S.: Hi, great video. Thanks for sharing with us. I got a curly hair question. The top part of my hair is quite straight but lower down it gets very curly. 2C type ish. Anyone got tips on how to get the top part more curly? ➿

Leah Dragon: My curl pattern is almost the exact same as yours and my hair texture looks pretty damn similar too. I use essentially the left method I’ll now be trying the right.

Jenna Dallacco: Thank you for sharing! Now I am confused, many of the techniques on the flatter side are ones I see curly hair gurus use all the time and are recommended on fb groups for CGM. I will def try switching it up.

Dakota LaFontaine: Personally I really like the praying hands method! And then I scrunch, but I have to be careful and not pull down too much. If I just scrunch my ends will be super defined and the rest will be fluff. Just a tip for people that have tried praying hands and it stretched your hair out

cawyl: wow! that was mind blown. thank you for showing the differences of method & applying stylers. Now I know why my hair didn't have a volume.

TrashCanBees: Oh wow I've definitely been doing some things wrong lol, I think the biggest problem I'm having though is that my hair won't take most products they just sit on the surface. Anyone know anything that's good for fine, low porosity hair?

Deborah Frank: I adjusted my routine per this video and it has made a huge difference! I would post a picture but apparently I can’t do that here. Thank you!

Luna Moon: I realized 1 week ago i have curly hair. So now im doing everything to get my curls back so thx for this!

Bethany Amaya: Hey girl! First of all, I just have to say that I LOVE the positive vibes and Christian content on your channel! but girl help. My curls are of the perm variety AND I color my hair often cuz it grows fast....I don’t want to stop perming because I love the curl it gives me but ‍♀️ your girl needs some serious help with frizz and maybe damage prevention. Now I know that you don’t have a perm but...lol any thoughts? love you!!

Lindsay M: I think if you would have used a diffuser and broke the casts on the "no" side this would have been a more thorough tutorial. If it wasnt a sponsored video you might have put in more effort to both sides and not just prose side. Still a good video though.

Brittany: I have the same curl pattern, and fine hair as you, so seeing your channel is extremely helpful. ❤

itsstephallen: I use leave-in, curl cream, and then will alternate between gel or mousse. I haven’t figured out what I like more, the gel will give better definition but the mousse makes my curls more soft and full and the curls will be bigger. Anyone else have this dilemma?

schutes: Howdy. Lazy, long-hair guy here. I use the wet look if I plan on looking good 2-3 days later. It doesn't have as much volume as the right side, but it means I can leave my hair alone for days without worrying about frizz and tangles.

Ravenclaw S: Super helpful! Love all the tips, I’ll use them all! Live for your content!

Jennie T: I just ordered the prose shampoo, conditioner and cream! I can’t wait to try them! Your hair is so beautiful

Stephanie Castro: Finally found someone who has the same exact hair type to mines I’ve learned from my mistakes

Salena Clark: I've watched so many and could never make out what they was putting on there hair set by step and you made that very clear. Thank you so much. I'll be following you.

Betty Sprong: Thankyou sweet girl. This is the first time I've seen anyone show us the same product. Used very differently. Thankyou fir showing me everything I am doing wrong. Now I can't wait to try some of these ideas . Love you so much girl.

delightfullyawkward: I usually scrunch gel into soaking wet hair...so uh, I will be trying this next time. My hair does tend to get very frizzy very easily though so even with my method it can get quite fluffy lol

SheenaTalks: THIS IS SOOOOO HELPFUL FOR ME, THANK YOU ANGEL! <3

Pau C: Thank you India!!!! I understand now how to apply my products! ❤️

amelia p: omg we have the same exact hair (even the haircut) and this really helped me out!!

RayneSaltair: Oh thank goodness they are vegan free, I would hate to have to pick vegan parts out of my shampoo. Yes I'm teasing.

Salena Clark: Omg thank you!! You made it short and straight to the point

Emily Murphy: I feel like we have similar hair texture. Have you every tried the roping method?? I’ve found it gives me great definition, and then the volume just grows as I move from wash day to day 3, 4, 5... ya know how it goes
