Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel. Thank you so much for joining for another video. If you are new around here, I'm Laura and I'd love. If you could subscribe to my youtube channel and if you are a returning viewer thanks so much for joining again. So today's video is a hair video, it's how I style my hair and how I get my hair. Looking like this, if you want to see how I get my hair like this, then please keep watching so I've washed and blow dried. My hair, I just use a brush like this and just try to smooth it down as much as possible when I blow-dry it so before I can let I do just go over a few little sections with these strainers. I think the bits are on the front of the most important because they're the bits that I feel like you look in the mirror, and you see straight aways if you don't like, if you don't like that, if you're not going to like the rest of your Hair, I always just bring it forward and just try to tuck it under a little bit. So it gets a nice smooth, bounce, okay, so the front bits are done and then I do just very quickly section off into two pieces: make sure that you're always using a like a heat protector spray, because this is a lot of heat on your hair. But everyone needs to like smooth or straighten their hair down before they color, but this is just something I've always done, and I just think personally for me, it just gives my hair such a better look, because I do get quite a lot of these like little Floozy frizzy flyaways at the front, so I feel like doing this. It just smooths everything down. So then the curls and waves are just nice and smooth there's, no, that little weird frizzy bits going on I'm using the GHD, Platinum, Plus straighteners. These are from the festival, collection, so they're like a really cool, bright color. These have actually got technology in the plates, so it will actually only heat up to what your hair needs, which is amazing right. They just glide look just so smoothly through the hair. My ghts that I had before about 10 years old and they did work, but it wasn't until I got these that I noticed, looks such a difference. Okay and then I'm gon na go over the top layer. Okay, so now we are smooth. We are ready. It'S a curl, so this is the wand that I use it's the Paul Mitchell Nura wand. I will link the exact one below it hasn't adjustable temperature setting, so I've just set it to 200 and it's just heating up now. As you can see, it's had a lot of wear over the few years. I'Ve had it for about two years or actually maybe more three years, while that's heating up I'm gon na section, my hair, I don't do too many sections. Actually, since I've had my hair cut shorter, I do less sections because the fact it is so short that you can't really get proper curl in there. So don't bother, and so I hope you do like three to four sections. I'M gon na start about here always spray every layer with your new protections right. So every time I cut my hair actually always kind of goes different and every curl is different, they're, not all perfectly uniformed. But that's fine, because that's the kind of look I want. I kind of just want to basically get a bend in the hair so that at the end um I can style our and it's all got a little bit of movement. So I always wrap away from my face, because this screen is so tiny that I'm doing on I'm just really worried about burning, because I feel like I can't properly see what I'm doing. I also just leave all of the curls: don't touch them just let them cool down and set, I kind of guess to do like chunky, ish sections, but there's no, I don't really mesh them properly. I just grab a bit and go as I said. It really doesn't matter if not everyone or not every curl is perfect. You just really want to get like the body and sort of Bend in there, but I feel like that, gives it a little volume and I think that's why it's important to do layers, because we build up here. I see the hair on top will automatically already sit over that so you're. Just building up this nice lot of volume once I've curled every layer. I then just spritz with a bit of hairspray, I mean any hairspray will do if I'm using the Moroccan oil. It'S the luminous strong, finish spray. When I'm doing the back fits, I always try to lift up the section. Put the wand underneath and then wrap around and like it just adds a good little bit of root boost in there. I spray each section to hold the curls in, but also it makes it a lot easier to curl the next section, because I feel like the hairspray kind of glues down the section underneath so you're, not picking up bits from the section underneath when you are doing It the new billet. I know some people alternate the way that they curl their hair, so that one just went back the next one would go forward. I have tried that before and it's fine, but I think it's just because I've always done it this way. It'S just it's definitely get just getting the knack of it and just finding like a rhythm that suits you. I find the length of your hair, even if it slips you by centimeter or something it's so different to our hair right now. It'S it's fine for curls, but when it is a little bit shorter, when I first have it cut, I actually really struggled to do it, because it's just that tiny bit shorter and it's just like you just can't get enough around the wand. Okay, so we've just got this layer and then the top one splitting the hair into sections. I feel that you just get more curls put in there and then I just felt like it lasts a lot longer. I know it's a lot longer and more time consuming to layer it all off and to do each section, but I do feel like they just lost so much better. I probably only do this to my hair like once or twice a week dry shampoo for days and and then sometimes just wear my hair straight, so I actually find I'm getting lazier with my hair. So I feel like I probably only do this like sometimes just once maximum twice a week. This is what I would call like. The full shebang, like the wash blow-dry straighten the curl. I mean in total. It probably takes me like. I don't know that 45 minutes maybe but to meet up it's quite a lot, but as well right now it looks like I'm about sixteen years old and my prom, but I promise it will or it will work out. I feel like, if you let the curl cool down in that shape, then it again lasts. Longer. I feel like this is such a word. Look that a little last bit of struggling straight hair on top hello, we're very close here right. So the front bits to me are so important, so I get kind of a square section, but I would brush it forward because I bring it forward again. These don't always go right and sometimes after we do them a couple of times, but I do it like this. I just want. I don't want it too, curly yeah, that's that's quite good it just. I just want that sort of Bend and that's sweet there. Okay for the top back section here, I try to take some hair from both sides, so it just sits nicely going back and there isn't like the split over your crown. If that makes any sense and then again, this look front bet, pour it forward and then go round see, that's that's dropping a little bit lower than that one, I'm actually not that fussy about it, but I'm just gon na bring that up a little bit more. Okay, okay, so now we're all curled, I'm just gon na go with a final spray of hairspray, so I feel like the actual dressing and styling of your hair. It'S actually very important. So this is how I do it. I mean it's totally different for everyone, but I've just used my hands so first of all, I just put it under my curls and just shake wheat like go again and like rub my fingertips against my scalp and then just pull it out. This just kind of gently it really gently breaks up the curls yeah. I look like I've just been electrocuted or something, but I just felt like it gently breaks up the coat, and now you can just start gently combing your fingers through it just to tame it. A little bit as I say every time it really does go quite differently. So sometimes, when I comb out when I shake it out, I just don't really know how it's going to come out, but what I find you can do is you see you've got this like big section here. You can kind of split that up and just twist it round. Can you see that looks way better and again on this side, there's a big kind of one chunk here and gon na lift that up and just twist it the way that we code it. So back again depends kind of what look you, hello, okay, so that is how I style my hair and throughout the day, if you find it's going a bit flat, you can just again just rub just shake from underneath and I just felt like that. A little bit more volume, I hope you found this video useful and helpful if you did enjoy it. I'D love if you could give it a thumbs up and please subscribe to my youtube channel. Thank you. So much for watching and I'll see you around her soon. Bye

Olivia McSweeney: Im definitely getting my LOB back. LOVE your hair so much!! You make it look so easy xx

Kimberly Perrotis: I have similar hair texture and length, so this was helpful. Mine is annoyingly curly underneath, but the top layers are straight and damaged-looking. As I get older the texture gets more and more curly, but if I let it dry naturally, the straighter top layer still doesn't blend in with the rest, which is wavy, weird.

nicole rittenhouse: Your hair always looks so good!

Laurie Popp: Very helpful, love your delivery of this "how-to" as well.

Mary Kohler: Perfect I have the same hair length so much easier to manage I'll probably go with a more narrow want wanting tighter curl Thank you for this video

Shivani JH: You made that look so easy

sofia abulhosn: How long does it usually take to curl your hair like this? Not including the straightening.

Annie Bishop: Quite late to the party but I loved this tutorial, thanks! Wondered if you could tell me what size barrel was used? I've just had my hair cut this length and my old wand is too chunky! Thanks x

XxSakura_ MelønsxX: My curling iron doesn’t have a clasp and I’ve been trying for like 15 minutes to find a video without one for short hair. So thank you so much for this!! Super helpful

Julie Riley: Just came across your video...my hair length is close to yours and I have been trying to do my hair this way, my stylist showed me with a curling iron, but I think the wand would be easier, just wondered what size Wanda you used and also what heat spray you use and if you use any other product! Thanks so much for your video!

Queen of Manifesting Dreams: I have been wanting to know how you do this with your hair! It is so cute!! xoxo

K2DC Music_Official: Great how to. Subscribed ❤️

Kimberly Perrotis: I never really learned to use my wand-type curler, even with a heat-proof glove I managed to burn myself every time. So, I’m back to my clamp-type curling iron. I suppose I just never practice enough to acquire any skill in styling my hair. It takes me at least 1.5 hours and never looks anywhere close to professional.

Reah: Omg thank you so much you have actually changed my life

Donna: I need to try it just like you're doing.

oOJuryOo: how long did it take for you to curl your hair?

Debora Radaic: Thank you! ❤️

Cool person Lolollloll: Great video!

Chloe Kringas: I just want to say that the people who dislike weren’t able to see the like button because if they can see it there would be zero dislikes ;)

Medime Tairi: How long do u hold curler on hair ?

Paula Acuavera: I LOVE THE HAAAAAIR!!

CARELIX ACOSTA: I LOVE your accent! Very soothing lol!!!

It’s Jess: Hello new subscriber ‍♀️ I know this is over a year old , but what kinda cut hair cut did you ask for ...is it more of a blunt cut or do you have layers in your Bob? Thanks

Casandra Lyn Kerr: if i ever use a flat iron before curling, it never ever curls for me. i wish it would lol my hair frizzes so much. maybe it's your flat iron.

N: How to do the back of the head/hair? I cant reach that and its always straight after curling the rest of my hair….

A n n i e • F l o r e n c e: You have amazing hair

MYT: could you pls tell me which size of the wand i clicked the product link below but it out of stock so i cannot see what size is it

Julia: I tried very hard and ended up with strange lokking hair and burned finger lol i guess i gonna stay with straight hair

Anne P Conley: Very nice. Your hair color is lovely too.

Emma Dawes: Loved the look. Unfortunately all of the links just take me to feel unique and not the items hun xx

Natalie Wardle: Where are your necklaces from? Gorgeous ❤️

Monica Amida: I wish i can curl mine the same what u do we have the same hair cut but I don't know myself doing curling even the very easy one WHAT'S WRONG OF MEEE !!!!

Emerald Wei: how do you not burn your hand, so jealous

Preity: Is the wand 25mm ???
