Hey y'all welcome back to my channel and before we get started, make sure you are subscribed, make sure you thumbs up this video when you're done and also make sure you leave a comment to. Let me know what you thought about it today, I'm here, because I just announced that after four years of doing here, I am now a retired hair stylist and I am from behind the chair - I'm not doing your hair, your mama hair, your uncie hair. You grab my hair they're cousins Here I am doing it honey, I'm so happy to finally announce that I'm done doing here, I'm here today, y'all, because I want to share my experience on how I built my brand doing hair things I went through with my brand. While doing hair, and also what made me stop doing here after four years so make sure you are tuned in make sure y'all got pen and pad, because you may want to take some notes. But I'm here to just be honest with y'all. To be blunt, with y'all to be really cha and just let y'all know the things I went through and hopefully you got to take notes and I go through it, and some of y'all are just going to be hard-headed. You'Re gon na do what you want to do anyway, and that's okay, but sometimes you got ta, learn the hard way you're, not just able to learn about somebody just telling you. I just thought no I've been doing here for four years. I'Ve been through some things in this four years. They have not just been an easy journey and if you've been following me on IG, you know that my story is still there. So if you scroll down my page, you will see it from the beginning to the end, how I started doing here what's crazy, so I used to always have my friends and we used to always tell Cara hair done, and you know we always complained about other People'S prices and I made a joke one day like girl, she charged you. What like, I can do that you know being funny. My friends like for real on my gig or I can do that. So what happened was I actually looked up a YouTube video? I figured out how you do a foundation and I did it and it was straight back braids. I saw the tracks on it. It may not been the best so in, but it got the job done and it looked good if you didn't get close and you didn't look through it and he wasn't all up on her stop. Okay, it looks great from a distance and from there she loved it. Other people acts you know who doing her hair. Not seeing that you know from a distance. It looks great, but up close, it looks kind of crazy, so it went from there. I started doing here my mother-in-law's basement. I started doing here my grandmother's living room. It was just wherever I was staying at the moment. Cuz. I was bouncing around from places trying to spend time with everybody. My husband was deployed so something for me to do and at this time I was not making money. I did have free a whole year. That'S right, free, a whole damn here and if I could take that back, I want to did it that long y'all. But I honestly didn't hear that one, because I did not think that I was going to do hair as a career. But I didn't do here and I didn't start here to make it income. I wasn't doing it for money and that just so wasn't something I thought was going to be long term, but it ended up being long term and I didn't hear free for a year and I can honestly say with the night here I perfected my prize, I Became good at what I did. I noticed things that I didn't like things I didn't like, and I was always doing what it takes to like make my sauce the best installs that I can get a client. So it went from me doing here free for a year to my husband realizing like look a lot of these. Ladies I'll repeat, clients, I'm seeing a lot of use. The same ladies faces on your pictures, it's time for you to either start charging or you have to stop doing here at this time. I'M like I'm, loving this. You know it's easy, I'm not going to considerating work. It'S just easy to do. I'M gliding through it! The time it's not taking me really no time to do it, so I was like forget it I'll start charging. So I started charging and I went in there now when I started here in my hometown. I got a lot of hate. It was oh she's doing anything for money which, at the time y'all I used to be a waitress for second shake. I also bartending, I did go, go dancing. I didn't work at a hair store, so I was doing a little bit of everything to make money. Just to keep myself occupied because if you're, a military, wife or if you've ever been with somebody in the military, they do deployments, you just get boring. You don't want to be a housewife thanks to be like a big ol amount. Expect. Oh I'm gon na be a housewife. I was a housewife for a year and, like I got bored, it was just not for me and I just felt like my husband used to always use the excuse, like you've been home all day. Like that's, the least you can do, and it was just like I kind of got tired of him like feeling like it was like. I had to do it because I've been home all day, like you, ain't doing nothing like kind of like I feel like he was like you know, a bum like you've been a bum all day like what's up like you should be clean. The house, you should be doing this, so I just stopped warrant way to sit in the house. It wasn't much of TV came away that good anyway, so I just started doing here full throttle, and I noticed things on different people that I didn't like, and I changed it so, for instance like when I started foundations, it was straight back because at the time That'S all it was showing on YouTube was train tracks. I was looking at meaning, it was straight backs, and that's just how I learned so I just noticed that you know certain things brains and we use look bulkier and the bracelet big. I also didn't like how the chain brains for us and how it pulled at the neck, so I started doing beehives. I started with smaller braids. I start realizing that nobody showed their foundation. I start trying to figure out ways that I can better myself and better. My installs and also ways that I can stand out and be different in this general of this genre or this generation, whatever you guys whatever it is that you guys like to refer to yourselves, everybody likes to do the same things and which I don't realize is Doing the same thing, it only blames you in you only becoming you're. Just like everybody else, you have nothing different about you, for somebody be like recognize you it's just like. If a lot of people come in the building with the same color, same hair, style, same cut and that one person comes in with green here, you're gon na recognize the person with the green hair. Before you recognize everybody with the same cut. I know that was like a horrible example, but it was the only thing I could think of at the top of my head, but a lot of you trying to blend in and you're trying to do it, the next person doing and the key to honestly building Your brand is being different. You want to stand out. I knew that nobody was doing their foundations. Like me, I knew that nobody was showing pictures of their foundations. I had got hit, but a lot of styles were just doing it for the money. They want. That quick money and they want that quick install with it. So they didn't want to take their time and waste that hour braiding you down when they can get you done in an hour and get more clients in, and I honestly didn't miss obviously did not care about missing out on the money to make sure my had Quality work on my client, so everybody is different, but I can honestly say the key to being in the beauty, industry and an oversaturated energy period, no matter what it is that you do is being different. You got to figure out how you can stand out figure out who your competitors are, what they are doing, what they are not doing. I know I preach this all the time I got ta figure out how to be different. Everybody wants to be like everybody else. Everybody want to do the cool thing. Everybody was in a training thing and you're all just blend in so trying to be different. I'M gon na start with the seamless technique. It was nothing that nobody else is doing like I said the Braves. Nobody else is doing the seamless look. Nobody else is doing. It was just a lot of things that I started to do that. I realized that I was doing also Washington's on the big thing watching us and really come with instruction. The more I started watching. I just started doing things that I noticed that other people weren't doing and things that could make me stand out the stylist. To give me our clientele, I knew my competitors, I knew good people, but a lot of things that I don't do people realizes. I knew my lane. I thought my lane is standing. You never see me trying to do. You know quick weaves ponytails suppresses colors pixie cuts. I literally found my lane and what I wanted to do and I went from there and there's nothing wrong with being a jack-of-all-trades and being able to do it all. But I always say when you're trying to do so much at one time you cut and you start lacking on something in another area. So you not potentially you haven't, gave it your all. You start lacking in another area, and I don't like to lack what anything I do I like to give it my all, so I always make sure that I've taken my time to perfect one thing before moving on to the next. So a lot of your like one day you want to make rigs next minute. You want to do front holes the next minute you want to do quickly use. Then you want to be a specialist for playing sales figure out. What it's like! Your top thing you enjoy doing and also I'll, keep in mind what makes you more money and make me less time you don't have to take as many clients, because, there's times like when I was working, I never looked at it as having to do 20 heads To make decent money, I literally cut down my time where it was like. I could do 4 heads and make the amount of money that somebody is that's doing. 30 head, so I'm very different, but I always said: keep in consideration what it is that you enjoy doing something that is more money, but you don't have to take as many clients to make decent money to make a living. Because the end of the day, we all have to pay feels we all have to make things happen for ourselves, and you just want to be smart. You want to work smarter, not harder. So I remember when I used to wake up - and I said like oh timestamp, 8 o'clock in a more and time said two o'clock in the morning. Still here booked and busy, and I had to realize, like I was being a slave to what I was doing. Like I used to think that was the look booked and busy you know working all morning all night and I realized I was missing out on family time. You know events with my kids, my friends and I was making the money, but I was not able to enjoy the money that I was making, because I was always so busy doing physical labor behind a chair asking ourselves. We have to literally physically do work in order to make money. So that's when I start to get into passive income which I'll get there later on in the video. But you really have to figure out what it is that you truly like doing how to cut things down and how to make things work for you, a lot of you try to do what works for everybody else, but it's not what works when you figure out. What works for you ask for it. I end up moving to Hawaii and my husband that was his new duty station and I'm like okay, we move it to Hawaii like ain't, no black people there Hawaii like they over here. He certainly would love doing Hawaii life and when we got there, I realized it was a military town. Like you know, it's the army, the Navy, the Air Force. It was just a military world, it was a lot of life. So when I got there, I noticed there was a page. They might tell me about a hair page called Hawaii Wiis and if you are know why you make sure you go at the page, it's messy and a little messy. It'S definitely messy, but it gets you out there and understand that if you do join the page, you may find yourself in a mess when people see potential in you and they know that you're gon na be great. People will start causing problems with you. But that's what happened to me, but I mean posts. Potion work get out of there, don't take too much time scrolling and putting your pants on other people's situations. Just do what you got to do is from what your word get your clients and blown. But I learned about the Hawaii use page and when I moved to different places, a marketing tool that I think is great is making sure that you do a sale. I think having a sale is great, because people get to experience your work for a low price to know what they're getting and when you go for price. Also, you got ta. Remember you knew to something or need to a different, a new place. You don't have just clients walking around for referrals to say such-and-such. Did my hair or people add some who did their hair, so you're kind of gon na build your portfolio back up, so it's always good to do specials. I say when you're moving to new places because, like I said, people aren't trying to gamble with their money anymore, people don't know it beginning. And if you know you do good work when you're doing a cheap price and you do good work, we charge full price. Like I said, people are coming to stick with you. You know talent is talent, I'm not like. Oh, I did a great sewing 400 dollars and a spouse close to 200. I'M done with you now unless there's some people in your area just as great and they're cheaper, that's fine, but sometimes when you go cheap, it's certain things you can deal with like not being as professional, not being that's clean, not being as friendly. Not being this, you know good on time, so just be careful when you're trying to cut your budget, I understand doing what you have to do for your budget, but sometimes when you cut back on prices, you kind of cut back on other things when it comes To people servicing you in their service, so I always say: do a sell price and build your portfolio do a special for one or two months, and then, after that it makes you might be cheating yourself, but all that my work will pay off. People will know what they get in, they don't mind, sit in your chair. You have a lot of welcomed referrals walking around the city. A lot of ladies asking, who did their hair referring to friend and that's amazing, also another thing is with burner friends, so I always tell people if you refer a friend and I'm like refer a friend, you get $ 10 off your service. So this is what I'm telling my client now, of course, the person I'm telling it's not going to tell their friend they refer, which is great. That way - and I refer somebody and I was like yeah girl - go sit in India's chair because I'm gon na get $ 30 off more I'm like you're, not gon na sit in a box. They go sitting in this chair. She did some good work. You see my hair boom and then I'm gon na get another kind of push you to go sit in India's chair. You see I'm saying so. I think that's a good marketing tactic as well. You know refer a friend and let people know like if you refer somebody and they say your name, I'm gon na give you 10 of us all, pissing us off. It'S just a nice gesture to say thank you, because people don't have to sit with you. They don't have to spend with you. Money is green and it's pence everywhere. You have to appreciate the people who decide to spend with you. That was that so I kind of like did the special I built my portfolio. I was going to work auto late talking about me and then boom. You had people in Iowa who felt like they've been there a long time they felt like you know it was their Island they put in the credit that hours mind you. I did not go to hair school um. I didn't go to hair school for many reasons. I just feel like if I want to do what I was gon na. Do it for me and not because other people wanted me to do it and I wasn't going to do it for other people's satisfaction. It was like I'm not I'm about to go and do it with y'all. Okay, when I already know I'm making six figures and I'm about to go like that, just to prove to y'all peppers that I do great hair like no I'm not doing that. So I never went. I know my lane, which was weave and know your state laws, because in Texas and the state of Texas you do not have to have a license to do installs and to wash hair. So no York state laws, don't bother me. This was just my situation and Hawaii you did have to have a license. I honestly feel like when you're places and you're not licensed workers. Work don't do, but I really hate on you when you're not a license and you're doing a pair without a license. As a people that have a license and they're not getting a client till you are without a license, those are people that you hate you. So that's what you got to be careful with now. I did have my share of haters. I'Ve had the state caught on me and honestly. I'Ve been through my little run-ins, but I went through. I'Ve met great people. What to say. I honestly feel like people hated on me so much. This thing was like you honestly have to do the hair. I just got lucky okay, I just got lucky: I'm not here to really spilling tea on that, but I've had my run-ins. Luckily, I've been good. I didn't have any big problems. Luckily, I met people that were on my side and people call so much big on the damn States - nerves they sell. Since things like, you know what and what it is anyways. So um I've been through my certain different things with people and all, I can say, is y'all. When you are good at what you do, you are going to become a threat. Sometimes people see your potential in you before. You even see your own potential and I think the biggest thing that caused so much chaos in Hawaii was that people see my potential before I even seen it. So people were trying to stop my bag before I got to the point where they couldn't stop it and it didn't work. I just felt like I was like a good. I was one of the few good stylist. It was a lot of stylists in Hawaii. Don'T get me wrong, but it wasn't a lot of great stylist and I kind of like took that around with it. You know I went through some stuff y'all, like so much drama a lot of drama. If you know my story, you know a lot of things that I went through in Hawaii with different women. Different style is so much love, so much hate, and then you know, if a stylist that we're against me, then they apologize. But you know we didn't go through certain things. You can forgive people, but you don't forget, and it's like you just don't ever know people's attentions and why now you want to be cool and things of that nature, but it was a rough ride in Hawaii like I had people try to fight me, people threatened Me people try to kill me like I say those for some story times, but it was crazy. I even had a girl that said she was gon na come back with my money after she went to the ATM machine and did not come back with my money. Okay forgot: she was in a military and long story short to make this a quick little story time. I went out with some friends that we can end up yeah, I'm going out with some friends that weekend and then one of my friends, friends that they brought end up being a girl's sergeant who ran off on my money and go down from there. Of course, I had my money. Of course she was scared to bringing my money, but I got my money. Okay, do not play wit, my money, okay, so um different things that I went through. I took as lessons I learned how to not let it happen again. So one finger run off with my money was like have my money up front on this table before I start your services? Okay, baby girl have my money. Okay, so if they didn't have it right there in there I was like okay, you can go. Get your money, but if there's gon na be past 15 minutes, I got to be scheduled. You boom boom boom. So people start you know havin a together cuz. I just started not playin, like I think, a lot of the styles we nice we'd be trying to be the spice friends. They are not our friends, their clients and vice versa, for clients who think that one of these stylist friends, I've noticed a lot of jobs started with me listening to venting clients that was mad. The stylist talked to me about him, I'm talking with dimples on like that's ours, and then they run back and he's sitting in a stylish chair. He was talking about and it was just a lot of mess. A lot of mess that comes from Silas be from the damn clients: okay, a lot of mess that comes from the style is being in beef with each other, be from the clients and you from MSD clients that we have sit in our chair. So another piece of advice is when people are getting to you in clients are getting to you. Just listen, just listen, don't say nothing, don't agree, don't just listen just be a year because the same the same way you go getting back to them. It'S the same way they go run sit and that style thing was just something about getting hair done. So just listen, okay, they're getting just listen it just it's just so much! Okay! You know just listen, but I honestly think that my whole time doing here it was a journey, but one thing about me: I never gave up and if I gave up just imagine me not being random today, I wouldn't even be able to make this video today Because I want to gave up, I would've gave people the satisfaction they want it, and that was to not see me win to not see my brand be where it is today to not be that hair stylist people who share they want to sit in and mind. You I think I for the clients that I had, because, even though the mess that people had to go through a lot of people still rocks with me like they never let it change how they felt about me. They never let it you know, stop them from sitting in my chair ever since people really brought to me, people that got to know me and actually knew me knew not to listen to the rumors, their lives and hate. So that was a dope thing because you don't gets me through, but now that like to get to know you for themselves, they go based off what somebody else said and most of the time it's off somebody, that's a hater. Oh, they hate honestly gave me free promotion because what happened was people try to figure out who I was kind to my page and end up loving me. So sometimes you know the hate can get you free promotion and free marketing. So I took it for that, but then after Hawaii we were going to Texas, we decide to go to Texas because that's where my dad lived, my sister's live and my dad kind of just like let us know that it was a lot of opportunity out here. So he moves we bought a house now when I got the Texas everybody knows. I met a stylist here and she reached out to me. Things went left. She became weird, a little stalking, so people that have lived here. I guess it seems as if I was top chasing. I was trying to get my name out when reality. I really had a bad situation with the stylist long story short. I went through hell and back with that, I kept going. I kept just doing my hair same thing as in Hawaii, people were trying to figure out who I was people had to come to my page and liking me people into following both of us to keep up with the mess and all the subtweeting and all the Shots being thrown and then, as we started growing people just start growing to love me and I came here. I stayed on the scene, I was partying soon as I got here. I was meeting new people. I was networking. I was doing my specials because, like I say every time I go somewhere and I did my specialist. I was doing my Pinter sleep at all, specials but bored. I did it for four months and I'm just built a portfolio and I kept going. I really just came to Texas y'all with some energy, and I manifested everything - and I really just came here really and that's like really being humble, like I really came to Texas and really just kill some things like. I really just put my foot down and made my mark like I'm here, like I'm India, I'm here, I'm a dope stylist. Anyone from there y'all, like I'm very consistent one of the things that I've gotten me far, is being consistent with my work, giving my all making sure quality is where everything that I do just being good energy always staying focused and remember why I started, and just Believing in myself believing and being confident because I feel like if you do not believe in yourself and you aren't confident and people know you're, not confident it shows, if you don't believe in you, nobody else will, and I just feel like if I were to feel Like I really can't do here, or I was nervous doing here or I was intimidated by other styles, I really don't feel like people would have sat in my chair, but I always keep the same energy with people. I picked and choose my clients. I just had a good time. I had my clients that I didn't care, for. I have my clients. I loved great relationships built friendships, great tips, clients spoiling me with Starbucks, like I really enjoyed the time, but I did do hair and what made me stop doing here. Y'All. To be honest, I had a sell not too long ago and a crowd of people. I'Ve got with that still y'all coming right for the past, and ever since then it will say. Okay, I got sucked on my hair like this is not. This is not for me like this is so many different energies and when I started really getting big into energies and bobs and people, I surround myself with people I'm accessible too, and things of that nature I really just felt like hair - was no longer something I Wanted to do - and I would just rather keep it with teaching like - I can't explain it - y'all like, of course I didn't just stop doing here and I'm gon na have nothing else to fall on. I have eleven streams of income. I have different things that I do and even though I'm not number four, I don't really post about my numbers are brag about my numbers. I make money doing other things. I do self air. I do do wholesale. I do dupe a promo. I just started a YouTube channel. I now have the clothing boutique. I do the CBD things. I know a lot of different things, job that make me money. I teach classes, I do webinars, so I do a lot of different things. I make money. So it's not like I'm just stopping doing here where I'm like that person. That'S like! Oh, I quit my job and just have faith. No, do not quit your job. You and the mortgage faith and you'll need more to prayer. I would honestly never do that. It may work for some people, but to quit your job and not have a plan B is kind of crazy. It'S kind of like insane. I always have a back-up plan, always make sure that you are good always make sure you have at least six months saved up and renting meals before you just quit. Something, and I honestly you are crazy if you just quit a job and just like I'm done, because somebody else's story was they quit a job and next week you know next year then came a millionaire. Everybody does not have the same store. We have to stop preparing our stories and people stories. This is just my story, and I honestly just stopped doing here because, like I said when I got in tune with just real big on energy and vibes and just being accessible with something like people, weren't appreciative and people just feel like. I owe them something or other juice I was just like. I want to work smarter, not harder. They say the millionaire has seven different income job and I honestly changed my mindset to a linear smile said it I'm not a millionaire yet, but I changed my mindset. So really manifest the things that I want in life and our I can't be everywhere with everybody doing everything, and I realized that - and I really want this like. I have to go ahead and stop this because, as noticed I allowed to keep doing here, can we want to still let me do the hair, so I really want to move on to this next chapter. I have to just do it, so I just did it. I stopped and I think I kind of got into the transition when I started swimming myself down. I started going for seven days a week to five from five to three and then three to about two days a week and officially, I kind of like slow it down. I talked telling people like I'm in a transition I must to quit. I thought I was just going to do lawyer clients and then I realized, like some of our clients, just don't appreciate saying like they're, not really you know I just like that tip is appreciated to show you like. I really appreciate you and I feel, like some people just feel like you're, a certain price they don't have to take notice for, like. I was just hard to miss an auto sign things. My kids are getting older and they have dance practice. You know dance shows and talent shows and school things that you eat with them and lunch with them, and I just didn't want to keep missing out on important things, because all I'm doing is working working working and I'm not enjoying the fruits of my labor or Just not enjoying time with my family, so I said I was just stop doing hair as much, and I want to work smarter, not harder. That'S making money on my sleep and not physically happy to do work to make money so y'all. I have a new chapter in my life that I'm about to start. I'M gon na be excited and y'all just have to say to him, because I'm not a person to ruin things and talk too much and try to make it so much announcements. I make my announcements when they are officially done. I can't get into everything because I don't want to bore y'all and I want to draw this out, but I literally built my brand by doing a specialist and consistent and just given quality work to people, and I will I'll do something I enjoy doing and that I didn't feel like it was work and when you enjoy doing something you don't mind, perfecting your crap and investing in long. I always research in and just trying to get it right and that's what I did John. I was different. How many would you know doing soon since you've done hungry, but you know showing their foundations, they don't because people aren't doing it. So you have to find your lane and I didn't do everything, but I did that one thing that made me good money: I can do for years to make a thousand dollars versus somebody that has to do 20. Different heads and 20 different different things from quickly soso minutes or whatever to make that type of money. I had to change my mindset, your to change, my bank account and I've realized. I want to work smarter, not harder. I don't want to be a slave to what I do. I don't want to be that person 50 years old behind a chair or Fridays carpal tunnel. I don't so. I have to make my game plan early. This was really early. I didn't expect it in this early, but when you believe in what you do, and you manifest a lot of things and you don't mind putting in the work, things will happen, it may not happen when you learn to the things will happen and with determination and Be staying focused and me being consistent. I know that what I have planned next to me would just be great, so y'all I am officially done doing hair. I probably only do my sister's hair, that's it, but that's it y'all! I'M just like done to my sister's hair and my kids, hair, of course, and any close friends I have maybe, but I'm just done so it has been amazing. For me, I am not moving on to better things. I still have my sweets written that out and I'm just I'm just happy, I'm really happy to where I'm at I'm happy. I made here I'm thankful for all to support people. I said in my chair and just supported me when I did dude here. Your girl has to go. I got to move on y'all so when everybody thought they was in competition with me, y'all can take me out cuz, I'm not in competition with none of y'all periods. Okay, girls. Moving on, I had a good time. I enjoyed it. Harris still something I enjoy doing, it's still a passion, but I want my millionaire mindset y'all. I got ta work, smarter and not harder, okay, and that's exactly what I'm about to do so and there's somebody watching this and you feel like you're behind or feel like. You have to have your license. I feel like you got to keep it with other people. Are you guys doing up people want you to do do what you want to do, for you do what makes you happy stay. Consistent stay focused, make sure you give you all whatever it is that you do never stop investing in what it is. You do always invest in your craft and keep going okay, because there's somebody out there rooting for you. There'S somebody out there hating you but love always win so make sure y'all show love, Modesto, LLC y'all, make sure y'all continue to push our work. Make sure that y'all have good light, good angles, good cameras, good phones, Android stole away the trash, but if you have an iPhone make sure y'all get your ring lights, I enjoyed y'all. As always, it's been real and pizza.

tmosmothers: I was a hair model for somebody that took your class in Chicago.. I’ve followed you ever since. That was still the best sew in I’ve had to this day! Congrats on all your your success

Ngalula Dodier: Thank you for this video! I have been doing hair behind the chair since I was 18 and now I’m 35 and I’m tired and I feel you about being worn out and under appreciated and missing out on special moments with my family and still not making as much money as I need without being extremely worn out . I’m 8 months pregnant and I re-evaluating my future and I don’t want to get stuck in the salon. I have a salon suite and I do want to keep that and do hair on a part time basis after the baby comes. I want to sell wigs and hair and create a cosmetics line. Your video was inspiring thank you !

Alicia Williams: I really miss her, I think I was one of her first clients and to watch her succeed is breath taking! Good for you India! We’re moving back to Hawaii and retiring❤️

Nandi Beauty: This was inspiring. I've been behind the chair for so long and I feel the same way. People's energy and vibes just throw me off. I started losing the love for it because so many people are so copycat. Everyone looks the same and does hair the same. I'm planning on going hard these next couple years and retiring as well. Thanks for you story!!

Christmasismerry: Yes definitely do story time!!! Im proud and happy for you.. young black woman doing the damn thang!!

Adrienne Michelle: First of all, not every licensed hairstylist is hating on the ones who don’t have their license but are getting a lot of clients. Some of us genuinely want to build & keep a solid consistent clientele but may not know what to do or have tried everything in the book but nothing’s worked (despite having a passion for what they do). But thank you for sharing your story
