Good evening ma'am I so I am Shivan bomani director at SK Beauty, resources and asked evening Hum Aapke brought our colleague Botti special program Laker a way for the first time in India. We have an artist who's, a Hollywood celebrity over here and she will be showcasing a magical, styling, hair, Hillier. Okay, so we as a company as k-beauty, are launching a brand called Olivia garden from USA, Olivia garden as a company is the number one company worldwide. In terms of the USA, Belgium, France, for hair brushes and scissors Olivia, Mayfield Hindi, me repeat: katha Olivia Garden accompany us, a key to world my number one company, a hair, brushes and scissors killya us MA Belgium and France me or in case your products are a Hair are very, very unique and very very special arch. I can promise you one thing: Joey happy dignitary, ho aplha hair may as a brush, a Batak, nahi, dekha --. Ga I will show a video of the brush. It'S called a multi brush, it brush, say of cases styling correctly ho worker rollers can become karta, hai aur aapke brushing de become kata. Okay, so can we have the video of the Olivia garden multi brush? He uniqueness here is brand man, Olivia garden came and so without wasting any further time. Joe artist of savvy ke saamne Joe re here on Konami cherry PTIN, bring cherry Peyton bring, is an artist Hollywood celebrity stylist from USA on own Xie, sorry movies. May Hollywood movies? May hairstyling career movies, like Captain America, Tony huh, Tom Hanks key movies, make mr. savings or case arias international Hollywood celebrities, a junkie, styling career. So so, let's start the show introducing the show reel of sherry, Pete and bring from USA. We made a language Horace. We don't need to describe it every time you call on me. You are my best friend and we got some. Can you have a round of applause you wan na be on the bottom? We are certified. We made a language Horace, we don't need to describe every time. You call me you are best friend and we Wow hey, welcome, I'm so excited to be here in Mumbai all the way from Los Angeles, California. So I want to just do a quick Facebook live. So I want everyone to say hi and how excited they are about Olivia Garden being here at the show, because we are sure excited to be here. Oh show us how excited you are: you're live, yay wave, yes, all right, say: Olivia Garden, we're so excited Olivia Garden. We'Re so excited! Yes, whoo! Okay, now I'll have this forever right I'll have this forever to keep as a remembrance of being here. So I'm really excited about being here today on behalf of SK Beauty, Resources and Olivia Garden, so we've been at the booth doing a little bit of hair. The last two days, but today we're really here to just showcase and really do some beautiful hair, so I'm gon na start off with a haircut. I'M gon na finish a haircut that I started at the booth this morning and I put in the multi brush. So I'll be cutting this section to match up and complete the haircut and then I'll be doing a quick demo with the multi brush. So you can see how exciting it is, the performance and how well it works all right, then we'll be doing some up styling and some other hair as well, so that I can give you guys some great tips. Have you guys been having a good time at the show? Yes, it's a lot. You leave in your brain feels this big right. Education is key, though I think it's wonderful that all of you are here: expanding your knowledge and your skills as hairdressers and really staying on top of what's trending, because, honestly, it's not that much difference between Mumbai and Los Angeles, California, honestly, the same trends. The same look: the world is becoming a much smaller place right because of the internet and social media. How many of you are on Facebook and Instagram? Okay, so make sure you follow Olivia Garden and when you use their tools be sure to tag them, so they can repost your work that you're posting on social media. So what we're doing here is a nice layered haircut, so you can see where her hair is started and where we've cut it. So we're gon na balance that out and finish the haircut. I started at the apex here right at the curvature of the head and we've taped we're taking vertical diagonal sections all the way around in kind of a pie shape, so we're changing where we're moving with the haircut. So it'll create a lot of movement and a lot of Swing I'll, be using my power cut shears from Olivia garden, and these are wonderful shears for giving really beautiful precision haircuts. What I love about them first of all, is the way they fit in my hand. It'S very important that when you're holding your shears, they feel comfortable right, not too heavy or off-balance. So the way these are designed is they have a standard guard here for your finger for your little finger. Next is your ring finger and then you can see. There'S two grooves here, one for your middle and one for your index, so it allows you to really hold those shears really comfortable. In your hand, the thumb hole is slightly turned and slightly concave, so it allows for your thumb to fit in there really comfortably. If this was pushed back, you can see how that would overextend. My thumb create issues within my wrist in the thumb joint, but because it fits in there, nice and comfortable. You see how straight my thumb fits in there. So when I'm cutting, there's no stress on this part of my wrist and my thumb - okay, it's also a double concave blade and it's made with reinforced steel. When I get this just a little bit more damn I don't like the hair to be super wet. When I cut, but I do like it to be slightly slightly damp or dry, how many of you dry cut in the in the salon, it's wonderful. These shears are great for that. As I mentioned, the double concave. So what happens? There'S only one point where those shears actually touch each other. So when they're cutting the hair they're not pushing it out, creating split ends and frayed ends, it's giving it a very precise haircut every time so they're excellent for dry cutting. They also come in different lengths. I'M a firm believer in the fact that, with the length of the blade really depends on what is comfortable for you. I don't necessarily think that a longer blade needs to have cutting only dry hair. Nor do I believe, like the shorter blade, is best for just precision cutting. What I believe is that whatever feels comfortable in your hands when you're working with it, whatever length that what might be, I know, people that do beautiful hair cuts with shears. This long and others this long and they do amazing, hair cuts. So again, I think it's more about what feels comfortable to you. So again, I'm gon na start taking these partings from the apex and taking them diagonal down. I'M gon na do what I call borrow a little bit of hair from the previously cut section. So that way, I know exactly where my guide is so as I'm cutting here, I've decided to do her hair at 90 degrees, and the reason for that is because I know that, with this curly texture of hair, if she's wearing it curly most of the time, The last thing I want to do is give her shorter layers that are going to make her head hair like a pyramid because of that I'll touch her. If I stop her layers up here from here to here, I know it's just gon na pop out and this is going to be flat. What I want is much more movement and then soft layering through the hair. So the next section pivoting again from that point, is coming here and again I'll. Take from the previous section over directing slightly I'll look for my guide I'll know where the guide is, and then I'll cut the lengths that I want to remove perfect and then I'll continue through. I also wanted you all to see this texture, this natural texture over here. So when I take out these multi brush barrels, you'll see how much shine was created from the multi brush barrels. Again, I'm gon na look for my guide. You see the point and the point, so I know exactly where I need to take that hair off for that precision cut that I'm looking for what I always like to do is go back in horizontally, because I've been cutting vertically elevate, the hair look for any Lengths that might need to come off if it's a small dusting I just go back in and remove that excess hair slightly point cutting into it and then release it. So I know that I'll have that nice precision precision cut all right, so I'm going to demo the multi brush and while I'm doing that we can maybe have the music a little louder and a little a little more energizing I'll put the brushes in and then We'Ll talk about it so again the hair is damp, no trace permits. I know okay type, a operating on a higher Josefa liquidity object necessary coming here, yeah yeah. Only if you're I don't mean multi, blushes, go, pallium, looks absurdity and all the one not have hot rollers car sub-cohort rules, you ski app locally, keep the low gon na use here. Another whose combative electrogas thing here, velcro removal, Tonya Joe hot rollers click once again about them. Hot rollers, don't use your parallel model. Ceramic parallel will use curling a cherry or up they play first and in India in international level, P Hualapai smoothly and your home look salon the use, cut the hair rollers, the sub-q suck the author, barely Prasad steak off the air for Thiele, realistic you trigger circuit, But Hamrlik Joe, you can lay up a challenge occurring year. After up taking it in her barrel is hot. He barely is history. Color got here, though, yeehaw trouble sky counter a bloke's I'll cut a giant or waterless, but Holly Siliguri, Agora, helper geezer, a roti. You need a help for someone keepo, i or after brush back rio, wrap during it. So here are update so self big yourself without any and telegraph co. Hot category key scotch alligator: it's because a tak ceramic behringer, Olivia garden, hey all years younger ion technology he's discovered. I own technological she's, ciccone butter table it like that. They'Re told about the hotel conditioning Orton's leg out, like a suck out the below ray Carter Valdez. In theater dude make a circle, casualities appear styling. My epochal at their job, finishing leader reason is, is not a courtesan here lactic we done gel tiniest articles out there charges are insecure, they are Cavallo, are applying to become career, chacha-ji to speak, a yachty shinier, finishing media article yeah Pita, Sharples, Carolla, Lanaya boy. We rollin Kia, Optimas Coppola, the cows. I go charge or Jenga go up, kakadu get it see the loggia coheres relocate, see their log in the flat o Jenga or hairspray, located yoga step or Jagger c4 check out the cowgirl who scheming, Wendy, really Nana Tony special ion technology evoke a Cartier him, a Local psychic, you know X, McDreamy a joab shape or child area or, as it is basic ever seen, Casablanca struggle, khyati dialogue, negra periodic table conditioner car. Now you got dinner up Yannick article. You have look pass along. You will have to charge for a conditioner. Okay, perfect, so you explained everything, so I'm just gon na agree just cover a little bit about this brush. That makes it very unique is not only is it one hand to inject the handle, there's a hexagon shape if you see and the same shape is here, so you don't ever have to worry about trying to find where the handle fits and fidget around. It will be able to just snap it in from every angle if you're setting it on your station like this, you don't even have to touch the barrel. You just put this in it clicks and holds when you release it. The same thing it ejects from the handle, so you never have to worry about. If this is hot from blow drying that you have to hold it, and then you have to take this off and your fingers are burning and you can't get it to stay in and all of those things right, it's very easy because it, instead of it detaching It ejects from the handle so all of the different sizes fit they come in a set of five with one handle or you can purchase them like this, a handle and a barrel, or you can actually buy these barrels separately and just really accumulate your inventory of These, if you have a favorite size, perhaps the nice part of that is sometimes in our stations. We don't have room for all the brushes, also that popular blow drying, where you've put five ten twelve brushes in the hair, the handle always gets in the way. Do you notice that, by the time you get to the end, you can't really get that style in the way you want it to because of the handles, so this actually acts like hot rollers, so the handle it's so much easier to create your Styles yeah. So in the handle there's also this great suctioning pick. I know it seems trivial, but when you remove it and put it here again as you're going through your blow-dry, your hands-free sectioning the hair, which it's nice, you don't have to stop pick up a comb section. The hair, it's all built into the handle, do you guys, like the multi brush? It'S pretty amazing right yeah, it's been five years developing so we're launching it all over the world. So congratulations, India, you're getting the multi brush! That'S pretty exciting! We just launched it in Taiwan. It'S launched in the US, so all over Asia is so it's gon na be a global product and remember when you purchase your multi brush and you take a video in the salon using it tag, Olivia Garden on Facebook or Instagram and they'll replay your video they'll Repost it so that's kind of exciting right. Everyone wants to be a star okay, so we're gon na give this an opportunity to cool down. I'M gon na have her walk to the end there, so you can have a look at the rollers in and then I'm going to, let it just cool for a minute. The benefit of these multi brush barrels are with the ceramic ion technology they eat up. So you notice, with the blow dryer every once in a while. I gave it a gentle bit of heat, as I was rolling it through, so they they heat up, but they protect the hair. They have ceramic ion technology that actually puts moisture back into the hair right and the bristles are ionic technology too. So it's improving the health of the hair, while you're blow-drying it. You saw how frizzy her hair was in the condition of it. So when we drop these down, you'll see the beautiful shine and softness that the brush creates so we'll give it a minute to cool down similar to what you would do with hot rollers have a little walk. You guys can have a look like this. So this time was also created with our one of Libya Gardens brushes, it's the heat Pro. So I don't know how many of you are familiar with the heat drill, but I think I have one in the top drawer. It'S actually there in the top drawer. I see it peeking out and it's a it's a unique brush to our collection of brushes and it's actually a brush that comes in really handy in areas like this, where the hair tends to be really porous and curly, this brush will hold, they get more heat. It'Ll withstand more heat, it'll stay hot longer and again it won't damage the hair, so it has a special copper coating. Besides the ceramic ionic technology, it has a special heat protectant as well. So this is the brush. You want, if you're, using higher temperatures, to get those to explode right on coarser hair. Obviously, on my hair, you don't need the heat Pro, because it's quite fine and straight, but certainly for thicker coarser, wavy hair. This is the brush you're gon na want to be using. This brush comes in a variety of barrel size, it's really large large, medium small, and it also comes in a Denman filter. The shorter hair scales that you're looking to get those really smooth wrap drives. The Denman version is amazing and again it has the reception, a pen. So what I did with this hair is, I went through and blow-dried setting the hair as I it was cooling using the heat flow and working again in a directional pattern that would benefit our end result. Our play our end result because we wanted it to be a little fuller for the look we were going for, so I'm just gon na brush through this a little bit here with the divine brush, and then I want to talk about this divine brush a little Bit you guys, like the looks of this, it's kind of got a weird shape right. Well, there's a weird shape for a reason: Olivia Garden loves to design brushes. That stylists want to need that makes their life and their work easier, also healthy for them, because they know that we spend long hours behind the chair working on hair. So let's just turn that around voila incredible from the divine brush. So again it's the technology. Everybody wants to know what makes a brush difference. Why does it cost this or why you know? Why do I spend more money on it? This brush has a warranty also, but if you notice there's many many bristles within this brush, but they're also flexible the brush. Also has a cushion base, so it's made to be very comfortable as you're brushing through the clients, hair, okay and it'll, dig really deep to the scalp to really get all the way through the hair. The last thing you want to do when you're brushing here is to just get the surface, and then all the knots are up underneath, so this will get all the way to the scalp, so it's ergonomically designed, which is what I love about it I'll, be honest. Before I worked with the Livia garden, I first got my hands on this brush. I was trying to hold it like this and brush the hair, and I was like this is not working. I like it to hold it like this right, because then I can really get the grip and get get it into the hair only to find out that's exactly what it was designed to be done, because most hairdressers don't hold their brushes by the handles. We tend to hold them a paddle brush or a Denman brush. We tend to hold them this way. Why? Because it's more comfortable on our hands and it's more comfortable on our wrists. I'Ve been doing here for 36 years, who's been doing here more than 10 years. In the audience ten years raise your hands whoo. How many of you sirens are the wedding later, please, the playout cutta cutta you twenty years, ten years, yes more than 25 years more than 25. Yes, don't be shy! I already. I already told that I've been doing here at 36 years. I started when I was 10 just so everyone knows. Oh not really not really, but I don't want to tell my age, so I always tell that bin right, I started at ten thirty six years, so that makes me much younger than I thought uh please. This project is designed for that. So you can see from brushing through this hair you saw when she came out. I purposely had her come out with it a little more wild and not really done so that when I brushed through it you could see the difference. The shine that's created. It creates frizz free, it doesn't have a bunch of static standing up and that's all because of the technology, that's in the bristles. So there is a difference in the brushes. There is a reason. Sometimes we pay a little more for a brush because of the quality but I'll guarantee you in a month. You won't be throwing this brush away. I have a brush from Olivia garden that I've had since 2003 and I still use it so warranty and yeah. It'S it speaks volumes for the product all right, so let's do a little bit of styling. Are you ready to have your hair styled yay she's been waiting for this all day? Okay, so I'll just meet the pin box, which is the red red pin box. Okay, I want to do something really cool you guys that is, is gon na be inspiring. It might not be something that chilled you every day in the salon, but I think a lot of you are here at the show to not necessarily just see things you'll do in the salon right. You want to see a little bit of both. You want to be inspired as well Koby tourmaline technology, but I think a place to another kiss kiss me Eggman a I own technology typing a tonal technology bully. This is not a charlie bula. You know. What is that? So, do you guys like to style? You do weddings, you do special occasion here. All of that everyone gets our Palomita claim. Was that a shiny, always you monopoly the static lingua star charge to you in Kabbalah gold, formerly technology jacket, pho p.m. look at they have no right, yeah brush. I used up there to take out the moisture seller effects so moisture to balance simple happy. I agreed gave natural heat probe Russia's economy each row brushes. He drew his copper Baron, Farrell consultant ceramic barrel. Okay, everybody knows his cover that ceramic para Luther peril. Disco got a barrel. Is this the barrel kisses catalog a steel corporal cut his cotton said. I make that a looker okay. Let me go co-op or me: paraquat, a local corporal agarn about this at amiga, remove her coffin copper's illegal without bought the ski trip. Difference. Algorithm, local, a copper, merica use career to copper barrel kakete object, Ambika, really, you are using one two. Three four maximum eight stroke for outsells Suharto can never taste abuse the boundary for the table jacket or the water barman to say, chaotic, galactose, Coheed, let's eat like this eke out a pal karamakov wash a little bit you Tom Lee technology or Julie, Copper, River, la Hoja Liga remote out did but that isn't that just a key after your hair, Chalet Chaya rebonding carucha up locals can rooster go akka come he's like a get the cow, acaba bunch, tally-hawk up the bun. Come heat lucky eat, Sao Paulo caca, hollow Neoga damaged me. Yes, all is kita yoga for Shelby up maintained reception. I quit. I need you guys to clap. If you like it cuz, I don't have a mirror and I can't see what I'm doing I'm guessing. So what I'm trying to create here is almost like an accessory like a hat with her hair. So at the end, I think we're gon na have a really fun beautiful. Look that exactly emulates dad. I want to make it a little shy because again, I'm doing something, that's a little more editorial and you notice I'm not using any products yet because I like to style the hair, I like to style it with the foundation. First, I'd like to use the brushes and the tools that I have to mess the foundation in the shine in the set, so it stays. Then I like to create, and then at the very end, when I'm happy with what I have that's when I will give a final, a final spray. Now the winner, Calgary styling, use audience. I look tufflips. They use that the values K, but you do this with a graphical Engel ago, gigantic cotton puffiness to teenagers or are taking e th e final, oh god, or skip ad just play down here on this side, but also putting a braid in, would be something that Would be really beautiful as well and giving it a little more of a finished look. So I'm just gon na put a quick little three strand braid here and then I'm just gon na gently pull some of the hair out, creating almost like the heart shape within that braid. It has a little bit of a retro kind of a different period feel to it as well. I feel like with this little extra hint of something I'll just twist that through now, I'm gon na take my detangle brush and I'm just gon na put a little bit of lacing through here. So it's almost like again like an accessory like a little pom-pom and because braids are so popular now. I think this is a great way. This could be a beautiful look for a wedding that I know requires. Maybe multiple looks because, while this hair is braided here, it's gon na hold its shape. So I know that I could always then take this down and do something else with the back and create another look for later in the evening or at another point in time. Gorgeous you guys, like that, and I think to finish it off. I had a little accessory here. I love sparkle, who loves sparkle, so I'm just gon na put this in to finish off that looks again. This 15 moves further on down. It could be more centered and really low on the forehead further symmetrical this way. So there's so many things that you can do again. It'S really just for inspiration. I put the UH the bun stuffer in, and mainly that was because I wanted something to anchor my pins to so she has enough hair. We didn't need the stuffer to make it bigger, but what it did is it anger. The pin yeah, if you've, seen the video you know that this is one of our looks from power to the tools it's been very popular in the amongst the celebrities. It'S it's one of those looks that I feel like appeals to a lot of people that, like big, hair or or something a little more dramatic right, you guys agree, Ariana Grande guys, know them right, you know, but this is a style that we created. We have an editorial stylist named Steve Elias, that does a lot of our trend looks and he came up with this trend, and then it wasn't long after when we were releasing it that we started seeing it all over the red carpet. So we were really excited about that. So you see how pull the hair is on the side when she came out so using this finger brush, I just very gently combed through it and voila I've got this beautiful, waved hair. I said this hair completely different than we did the other model that got really big and how we said this was using the barrels of our of our multi brush and we just take them in a circular motion. So we keep them very uniform all the way around the head and the next one goes directly under it, so everything new without making it too knotted and too heavy on the inside. So, let's just move you this way, so the idea is the brush goes in at the first wave and I give it a gentle push and twist it from the hair. Okay and then I'm gon na push it again and remove it from the hair. Push it again and remove it from the hair, so I haven't disrupted completely the wave pattern, but you can see I'm giving it a lot more fullness and a lot more weight for this look to just get more big and more dramatic. I think you guys, like big hair in India, yeah big hair is coming back guys, the 80s. Here we go so you see that technique. It stays true to the shape of the curls. So, rather than just going in and doing this and making a big mess, I'm really respecting the foundation that I put into the hair again in release, see where the wave is push and release where the wave is again push and release. So there you go and you notice I'm doing it very gentle, it's not something that you want to do really aggressively because again, you'll ruin your hairstyle and that hard work that you put into it. So there is the technique with the finger brush, then we'll let her take a walk. Beautiful, have a walk to the end. I know the best and I don't have on people - takes a lot to come up here and model, so we got ta. Let her know. We love it have a seat here before my time is up, and I take these rollers out. I want to take a minute first to thank SK Beauty resources for inviting me to come to India and share the stage with all of you. Thank you and to Olivia Garden as well, and I want to thank these two for being amazing help they without their support. I couldn't have gotten these models all done, so thank you to them and our makeup artist. I want her to stand up hello, check-check, okay, so one brush through with our divine brush and we'll have her take a walk, look at the body and the volume and the shine and the smoothness that we got from that multi brush gorgeous gorgeous okay. Let'S have all the models come out, so we can do a finale, starting with you. We need to describe wan na be in the East. Do you wan na be in the West? Do you wan na be on the bottom? We are 65. We made a language Horace, we don't need to describe it every time. You call me you are my best friend and we've got some things to do. I think that I'll keep blessing. You wait that 65.
