Hello, my name is anthony padilla. If you can't read and i'm tired of talking about my hair, but apparently all you see when you look at me is a big pile of disgusting hair. Am I really worth nothing more to you? Do you not see my flesh and my beautiful brown eyes and my slightly deviated septum that I had cosmetic plastic surgery to fix that is still very noticeably slightly deviated. You know what yeah to be fair. This is the longest my hair has ever been, and it's the first time I've ever just let it go natural curly, so maybe you're right. Maybe I don't actually know how to style my hair at this line. So what I'm going to do today is I'm gon na have a professional come in a celebrity hairstylist if you will to fix my Napoleon Dynamite, looking hair as you so kindly put it once and for all. Oh celebrity hairstylist angel hi, hello, guys I've been in the industry for 14 years from Houston Texas worked in the salon setting for 10 years, moved here to LA 4 years ago, working on different celebrities from little cam to ariana, grande music videos and Patrick Starr dissipated. Like so you're telling me, I'm gon na get my hair styled by the same person that did celebrity Trisha Paytas paid up before we get into my hair. Can you analyze it and and use your brainwaves to figure out? Tell me what's going on? Well, first of all, let's take out the Garba my face. What shampoo do you use? I don't know and dude that's that's. I have a good thing, you're wearing a ski jacket, but yeah. I think you have amazing hair. Actually, I mean I don't know where it's coming in my opinion again, I'm a professional headshot, that's ready, yeah! Oh, oh boy, wait, calm down so dramatic. What kind of creatures are coming out? I don't know, but the waters turning gray. First thing you do. Let'S say you get out of the shower mm-hmm: don't you know shake the hair like this? You want to blot, it, do not disrupt the curl right. You don't want to crush it. Yeah flash your hair. No! I never brush my hair. That'S I'm terrified of a brush yeah, a lot of people, think oh you put mousse and too crunchy or whatever. No, you got to mix it up and you know emulsify it with a cream with an oil to break up all the sticky memory. That'S in a gel icky memories are some of my least favorite kind of memories. Yeah, my hands are already combing your hair, but at the same time it's applying the product evenly throughout your home. I'M scared product makes my hair look greasy well then you're using the wrong product. I'M learning today don't be cheap use all the product you can in your hair versus zero. Hmm because you're not gon na wash it for three days. That leads. You know to play around what they hit you're gon na. You have to be very visual when it during this process and because you lay on the back like when I saw you a flathead in the back, so you need to start. You know pulling that out. A little bit, it just looks like somebody's paddles, come back yeah, okay! Well, let's not let that happen again in our initial email correspondence to ask you if you wanted me to compensate you or if you wanted mean select shoutout places for people to find you or not boy, calm down, it's not that serious. How can I do what's your sign? I'M a Virgo, okay, so your perfection don't take stain so superior. The number one thing that the number one thing to do, because you start creating stories in your head that are not even true. You know that's why it's very important to be presentable with your hair yeah. What'S been the most exciting part for you through your journey through celebrity hairstyle, I didn't realize I don't get starstruck and now thats how he saw me. You just were like hey. What'S up, I go to Paris, Hilton and Kyle Richards. Like all my clients, there are normal people just like like they're, nothing different, I'm being Oprah on you right now. So why do you care what people think of me? I think it's because I was introduced to success, no matter how small, relatively or how big it was in my mid-20s and by the time, I'm here now that I've kind of left a lot of that behind. I constantly feel like I'm just not good enough. Well then, I feel like I'm at my therapy: that's what we do. Oh hairdressers and hair stylists we're also therapists as well prints. I had you come in to style my hair and I'm gon na leave. Feeling, like I just went through a therapy session and I think okay, so what I'm doing right now it taking the mousse little by little and I'm going over some frizzy spots, mm-hmm I'm gon na have him fill it, but it always should be really soft. So I should be able to touch it and be like. Oh it's. Actually, you know. When people see my hair, they always think like cuz, it's so shiny that they think it's pretty, but it's not. I want people to come up to me and and touch my hair mm-hmm. No, I don't first of all just seeing it styled like this uh-huh on your other videos. It looked like you had all this hair right here yeah. It was good like what's going on right there right, sometimes it's kind of cool, just to kind of do it in the middle cause. It kind of gives that whole clueless an 85 Leonardo DiCaprio. Maybe I mean yeah crickets. Let'S say it gets longer right: mm-hmm, I'm not gon na. Do it too much on you now, but I like to use a comma pic. Okay, do that for the women that have long hair, but they want a little bit more body, because when he gets longer it starts weighing it down right. So what you want to do it just go in your scalp mm-hmm and then pour to like halfway. You know don't go all the way. Cuz then you're, just gon na spread it out and you ruined your car mm-hmm. So you want that round shape going on back there, not like that's pretty much it yeah. No, it's good! Much to it. This looks great. Can you zoom in on that splendor? You have amazing hair, I think definitely say you would make girls jealous Wow and if, oh, my god, it feels a healthy feel. It feel it you like it yeah, okay, see, that's why you don't want people touching your head and they you've done frizz it up. So officially, no more comments saying I don't know how to style it. No more comments saying that I should cut my hair has been confirmed by a professional hairstylist that my hair is good. I found prints on Instagram and he's a whole bunch of other photos of his work on there. Seriously it decreases the frizz a ton. I was legitimately shocked to see this celebrity hair stylist using a regular towel on his curly hair, I learned that very early on looking into curly hair care its like one of the basics in the curly hair community. All the rest of the stuff is on point though! stay away from silicones and sulfates, they can really jack your shit up.

He used to try hiding it (like in the first picture he ever sent me, he tried to straighten it), but I guess he is glad that I prefer his curls much more! (Ist fluffy!) Tbh I am not that big of a fan of plain straight hair. That said, I never saw any problem in your hairstyle. People should just calm down and let you -and anyone else in that regard- be, they'll get used to it eventually. Plus it adds some character.

Kaliandra Andrade: It's fun to notice that Anthony had the same hair problems I had while growing up: curly, thick hair, only went out after straighting it (sometimes with chemicals), feeling down because all the emo/scene kids had a nice, soft straight hair, while mine was always out of control. I though my traumas were more likely to happen to other girls because of beauty standards, but seeing Anthony's perspective about this subject made me realize that probably all people who were kids/teenagers before curly hair became a cool thing probably faced the same problems as I me.

I have long hair myself and i recommend all of my friends who are male to at least let their hair grow for about 1 to 2 years at least ONCE in their life so they can know more about their hair. Get to know how their hair is, how it feels and a lot of men end up going bald when they get old so why not go crazy with your hair when you're young
