Celebrity Hair Stylist Reveals Latest Spring Trends

Chris Appleton shows how to spruce up your spring hairstyles and get rid of your dry winter hair.

Our next guest has created some of the most iconic looks for celebrities like kim kardashian, jennifer lopez, katy perry, and today he is here to show us how to achieve two classic hairstyles. That apparently are going to be the big trends this spring. So we want to welcome chris appleton back to the show chris, thank you for being with us good morning. Thanks for having me back guys, i've got some great looks for you. Anyone that's looking for a change this spring summer and let's face it. I think we're probably all coming out of quarantine with extra long hair and growing out roots ready for a new look. So i have some add. Some looks um. The first look guys um. The bob is back so we're going for, like shorter kind of looks. A lot of people are coming out. This quarantine with shorter, inspired hairdos wanting to cut away. You know the past year, so we actually cut my model's hair. Her hair was longer, as you can see. What'S in trend, is these really kind of blunt clean, bobs? Oh last little snip there with a really high shine, so you can see. I mean my secret to the high shine. Is this little can this? Is the colorwell extra shine spray? It'S a bit like diamonds in a can glossy kind of really polished, looking hair is in fashion um and a nice clean little bob. I think always you know it's always a great look for me. We were trying to get. I was, and during the commercial i was trying to talk robot into bringing the bob back. She used to have this bomb bob, we loved it we're trying to get her to bring it back. It'S growing out a little bit now, but yes, we love the bob uh around here. What about baby well bangs are also bad. Now. Listen, i think, in my experience with bangs as a hairstylist is most women cut bangs in and a week later, they're usually growing them out. So i'm going to show you a great little trick that i like to do, because if you, you know, you know celebrities and models, they're, always changing up and creating different. Looks i like to use these clip-on bangs now they're completely inexpensive. This one is synthetic. It'S probably around 20, it's great even with a hair up like this, a lot of people are doing. Zoom calls at the minute, so you can just literally shove your hair up even on hair down. It comes on a little clip and you literally just clip it in on the top section like this, and then you know just kind of manipulate it around. So it kind of blends in a little bit. You can either do a longer kind of side. Bang or you can go for like a shorter bang, you know i like to make it look a little more piecey, but this is a great way of cheating the bang trend, which i think is ideal to be able to take it off with them today and Change up your look wow i mean i don't know tj. I remember some fangs. I was i just learned something else. I learned earlier about white denim and now i'm learning about clipping in bane blew my mind. Any woman at home that wants to try it just try. Click on first is so much easy and fun and honestly, like no commitment - and i think now - people want no commitment, hairstyles um, you know they want to kind of change it up without having to be stuck to it, and this is a great way to do It and like i said if you're gon na go for the shorter look, make sure it's definitely a shiny glossy one um, because that trend is definitely you're. Gon na see a lot about this spring summer. I love it. It looks great and yeah if anyone's anyone out there who's had to grow at banks knows that uh. That is not a fun process, so i think that's a great way to get around it and still get the look chris. Thank you so much for joining us for what it's worth. I i i think you should put the bob back in. I think it's a hot though oh man all right. Thank you. Two against one right now: okay, well, hey there gma fans, robin roberts.
