Has anybody seen Jurassic world yet, if you have can somebody please explain to me why they had that leading lady running around that entire park for hours and heels on, because I just don't get it hi people, it's Leona. I have no intention of doing a video today, but the reason why I'm coming to you today is because I got my hair cut. I got my hair cut. I don't know if you could tell the difference right now, but I just came back from the salon and I am so upset with myself, because for whatever reason I tried to be adventurous, you know at the salon today yeah tell the stylist that you know when I back with my hair cut a certain way and, as a result of me trying to get my hair cut away, I have lost so many inches, just so many inches of hair, and I almost cried about it. I almost broke down and cried so bad and I'm still trying to figure out if this was my fault or the stylists, because I know that I had said more than once. I want to keep my length like as much as my mic as possible. So yes, I want you to do like cut my hair, a little sure in the back. But I want to keep as much as my length as possible and I feel like that that everything just went in one ear and out the other, because all those years of growth is going. So let me just show you what I'm talking about so the front. You know she really didn't take my chalk for the front. You know she even kept a little bit of length over at the sides. You know, even though this part used to touch my shoulder when it was curly he's touched. She took someone for the sides. No to the profile, so I don't know if you could tell, but you know, there's exaggerated and you go going on there at least I think from what I was able to see and onto the back so yeah. So if you can see the back of my neck is completely exposed. Just it's all gone, my hair is gone and to give you better understanding of just how much hair is gone, let me help insert a clip of the last time. I did a length check. Last year of the back of my hair and where it fell so here's the span of my hair, and this is where it falls now and you'll - see wait. Let me see this nice and shiny yeah, so this is where it falls now, then you see the split screen of where it used to fall. I guess I'm so upset so upset and a lot of people gon na say it's just hair. Your hair will grow back and everything like that, but at the rate it's gon na grow back, it's going to be slow. Okay, my hair is not going to be down to where it was in a couple of weeks. It'S probably going to take at least a year a year at least, and I'm just so mad, I'm so bad. I did. I wanted a different cut, but I didn't want my hair all to be cut off. It really really did it, and I just got to a place where I really liked, where it was my hair growth journey or not even hair growth, just my hair journey. I got to the point where I was really loving it. I finally figured out how to do that to have on watch it go perfectly perfectly somewhere. I finally perfected my wash and go routine and then I go and do this I feel like I just can't okay, so yeah. This wanted to come in and share this with all of you, because I am type upset about it and the learning lesson that I'm just sticking to trims from now on just trims. I don't need to try to be different or try to do something different, but back my hair get a certain cut or whatever I'm sticking to the trim. From now on, so yeah I'll see you in the next video and I thought we get to see forever but forevers gone away so hard to say goodbye to Caston day.

Shay Fred: I just experienced the same thing for the first time about a month ago. I lost over 7-8 inches. I cried leaving the beauty salon. Idk why but I totally blame myself ‍♀️ idk. Never again.

bmw81187: ...and this is why stylists have to work REALLY hard to get naturals in their salons...ISH LIKE THIS! You're handling it better than I would've...I would've ended up on the news for knocking a stylist out..

Priscilla Coney: I just had this experience today. My stylist was like omg your hair grew so much do you mind if I give you a TRIM. I said sure a TRIM is fine thinking she would just dust my ends and keep the length I've been working on for months. My hair before the "trim" was to my collar bone now it's right below my chin. I'm still mad because I was gonna start wearing my real hair out more but now I'm sticking to weave until I get back to my length hopefully by May or June my length will be back.

Celia Rose: I know how that must feel because I know the struggle of growing natural hair. :( you're hair still looks beautiful just so you know! it will grow soon enough in a few months to at least a length you're more comfortable with! Sorry you had to go through all of this

Tiamaria Diaz: Girl sulk all you want!! I HATE when people say "it's just hair it'll grow back" they don't seem to understand how pissed off you can be when a stylist does the complete opposite of what you asked. Especially if that growth took a minute to get there! Yes of course in time you'll get over it but girl you have every right to miss your inches and even cry a little. If you wanted to. Jus' sayin'.

Nandi Mallett: I feel your pain! Before I went in for a trim, my hair was at my shoulders. It took me almost a year to grow it to that length. She didn't give me a trim, instead she gave me a haircut. It's barely at my neck line. It is going to take even longer now. But it will grow back girl. I know exactly how you feel. We are in this hair journey together my sistah!

Nakia's Hideaway: I love your videos & your personality first of all. I also feel your pain. I "trim" my hair myself and always cut too much and I'm always mad at myself. The cut looks great on you though! Hug!

sarahsmall: First of all you're beautiful and your hair looks great! It's a chic cut perfect for summer.! Still, I can completely sympathize and know your pain. I've cried in the stylists chair - before the cut was even finished, another time I spent an entire weekend in bed depressed over a hair cut - which in retrospect was a really great and much needed cut, but I wasn't ready to part with all that length - I still haven't grown it all back, but come to terms with achieving a balance of healthy style vs long hair. Enjoy your fresh cut, don't let the loss of length keep you down for too long! xo

Shountea: Your hair looks good, and I understand your frustration. A couple years back I went to a salon and the stylist removed my layers. I was very upset because the majority of my length was in my bottom-most layer and the rough handling that was used caused damage. I remember not even wanting to hear the compliments about my hair when I was still so very heated. I am finally reaching the point where I am enjoying my length again and I hope you reach that place sooner rather than later. God bless!

ZVEdwards: I know exactly how u feel I'm still mad at my (old) stylist & it's been 2yrs, however it has grown back significantly, as will yours. I trim my own hair now (blow dried). BUT you're cut looks so good on you & healthy. Very pretty, & thanks for sharing ur story:)

ChocolateSiren: I love the humor that you use to keep from crying lol. I feel you however your hair cut is cute have fun with it girly!

Jazzerlat45: I'm sorry you had a bad experience at the salon :( For what it's worth, you look super cute with the hair cut ^.^

NaturallyMe: Wowwww, yea I see why you're mad. There are too many scissor happy stylists out here, I had this happen to me on numerous occasions and I learned my lesson. Nobody in my head with scissors. Nope, over my dead body. I cut my own hair now.

Alisya E: hey girl, new subbie here! I, like everyone else here, think your haircut is really cute. I know how you feel though! I'm currently trying to grow my hair out after a haircut. Every morning I have to refresh my wash n go or I'll look like Frederick Douglass lol but previously I could just shake in go :'(.

missbake1: That boys 2 men song though.. that was funny. Your hair cut is super cute. However, I definitely understand where you were coming from. It takes forever for hair to grow! I cut off my heat damaged bangs and now I am waiting on my new growth "at the doe!"

angie oohpreddynails: Girrrrl, I'm PISSED with you and my hair is way shorter! My hair grows very slowly too so I feel your pain! I really do! Sounds like you wanted a shape up and not a hair cut.Scissor happy stylists really irk me. It takes a lot of time and effort to get hang time with kinky curly hair. They should know that.

Q Cab: Your cut actually looks good! You just have to get used to the style and the fact that your neck shows a little..but i understand how you could be upset bcuz that wasn't what you went in for.

Dían Sentino: RIP Hair but... It does look cute! Love the Boyz II Men outro lol

Monica Willoughby: It sucks that she did that. I can hear the hurt in your voice. Hopefully you'll feel better about it soon. But believe me when I say, it doesn't look bad at all, just shorter. And I have to admit that the end of the video made me laugh..... Hard! That song playing instantly reminded me of an episode of "Martin" when his mom's bird died and they played that song while showing pictures of the bird. That was like 10 years ago but that song playing brought back an instant funny memory for me. I hope that one day you'll watch this video and laugh about it too. Sorrow may last for the night but joy comes in the morning :)

Angie B: OMG!!!!...This is NOT your fault...she took all your hair..Im so sorry this happened to you....for what its worth...it still looks cute!!!...I never know what to say to stylist either when Im descirbing how I want my hair cut....

Aimra'at Allah Alaliha: ps...it still looks beautiful Sis!

April Augustine: It looks super cute...but yeah, she chopped your hair off. I feel your pain.

lisadaniellle: That SUCKS. But it looks gorgeous. Try the inversion method. I'm sure you just rolled your eyes (lol) but it IS effective! I gained 3/4 of an inch after my first trial week. Good luck!

karaibe28: Feel your pain

Brendacikes: Hi Leona, I know how you feel because i went for a trim and she cut so much that the next day at work someone said i look matronly, I was livid at the salon and had to wait out the results to feel good about myself again.  But seriously your cut is so hip and flattering, a small consolation is that you will look good while it grows back.

Latasha Brown: Oh lord she gave you a bob, i know thos video old but dang

H Shaw: It's pretty

D K: Lol at the song choice......what did you say to the stylist? And did you pay her/him and tip them??!!..thanks for sharing queen.

Just Let Me Dance: :(((( I'm sorry

Aimra'at Allah Alaliha: Are you going back to your stylist?  The song at the end is so sad...I feel you I don't like my hair cut AT ALL and I am strict about my trims...not playing!
