Now you know this is also affecting the way a lot of people are mourning, and one things we want to do here is say goodbye to an original member of the view: family five-time, Emmy, award-winning, hairstylist, Marquis, Washington, who passed from suspected coronavirus complications. He was here before my time, but you worked with him joy. Yes, I did. He did my hair for many years and he was quite a character Marquis I mean that wasn't his real name, and I think that was his stage name Marquis and I'm very shocked to hear this. To tell you the truth. He was very young, I mean 57. I think or 52 I forgot what they said. I you know just a reminder that all different ages are affected by this coronavirus. I may read that an infant died from it. I mean there was this whole. You know thing going on at the beginning that it was only old people. Well, it turns out it's not just old people, so I mean I found out today. George Stephanopoulos, his wife Ally Wentworth, is positive for the coronavirus and she's a young young, vital woman, yeah yeah, you know, and and last week my friend Susie and I raw. We were on the phone and she said to me. You know pretty soon we are going to find. We are going to know personally people who will be who will succumb from this virus like we know, I know a lot of older people. I know a lot of people in showbiz. We you know in our in our business, we know a lot of people and that same day they told us that we learned on television that Terrence McNally, the great playwright, had died. So there was the first person that I knew personally and he was a fantastic guy. You know, and now and now marki is, I think, the second person to die from this horrible thing. So it does hit you. It hits you personally, it's it's a little scary. Well, you know this is going to keep happening, and you know just let's remember that, just because someone has been tested positive for it, it is not. It is not. It is not a death sentence. People have been recovering from the for for as long as it's been out, there have been thousands of people who have passed away. Yes, but there are thousands who have survived. A healthy athlete can die and someone who is 104, a WWII veteran, lived thru the Spanish flu can make it through catching this. There's really no factor.
