Hair Stylist: How To Keep Your Hair Looking Good Between Washes (Days 2-4)

Here's how to style your hair in between washes and make it last four days!

Welcome to part two of getting ready quickly. This is day two i've just finished my hair. I use the dyson air wrap keep watching, so you can see me do that and how i approach my hair on day two after that you'll see me doing my hair for day three and day four, which is the most i can get out of my hair Beyond that, it's just greasy, not cute. I wouldn't want to push it. Everyone'S hair is slightly different. So keep that in mind you might need dry shampoo day two. You might need a shampoo that stops your hair from producing oil. There'S different things. You can do to prolong the longevity of your hair if you like, hair fashion and beauty. Please subscribe if you're already subscribed. Thank you so much so i used the body waiver dyson attachment on the left side of my hair. So now i'm going to show you quickly how i did that on my right side, i like to move really fast. I just divide into and i'm doing a middle part. So it's really easy to do that and i bring all the hair forward and then i start in the back and then work my way towards the front. I'M going to take this section, i popped in my attachment. You can see the arrows are pointing in the right direction, and i work really fast through this, especially when it's just going to work hair. I just want to look good, don't want to spend too much time on it and i love how fast you can do it with the dyson airwrap. It'S incredible. It'S kind of like upside down pie slices, so you can think of the back of your ear as the place to start or like the center of the pie. And then you just go down for your first section, basically horizontal for a second and now i'm going diagonal up getting the whole crown part of my head into this section and then again, starting from behind my ear, basically in two and then i'll. Do a second diagonal section in the front to split this piece up and frame my face. How i want to you can see the difference after this got to sit a little bit and then, when this is fresh, it's like really curly, but then once it cools down, you can kind of just massage your scalp shake it up. You can go in with like a wide tooth comb. Even a mason piercing brush would probably be really nice to smooth it out. That'S kind of extra when you're just getting ready for work, but if you want to do it definitely go for it. I like to keep it simple and as easy as possible, and i use my fingers a lot when i'm doing my hair there you go, you can see. The ends are so much smoother. Now it has like a nice sheen to it, and that was on 100 dry hair, a little oil on my ends, taking in two sections and that took like 10 minutes to do this is day three i'm going to curl my hair today, literally just clipped it Up for the shower - and this is kind of how i woke up - it's not horrible. Sometimes i would just like spray in some texture spray or something. If i really have zero time, the air wrap creates like beautiful shine in the hair and it kind of maintains it so with a little refinement. I could spruce this up without doing anything. I'M just gon na go in with my t3 and just like really make it refined, because i am going to dinner tonight. So i want my hair to look good all day. I'M going to let this warm up, and while i do that, i'm getting my little pump of oil just ears down nourishing and moisturizing and making sure i have some glide for when i brush through my hair kind of looks worse. It'S like really frizzy, since it is day three i'm going in with the fresh affair by caristas, it's a dry shampoo once i curl my hair. Sometimes it becomes more pronounced how oily it is. So i like to spray it, so i don't regret not washing it and dry. Shampoo is great for holding and maintaining style also got a little on my turtleneck. Maybe don't wear a turtleneck when you're doing dry shampoo, but you can see in my hair. You don't get any of that white powdery, look everywhere kind of use the same sections, as you saw me use in day two, but this time i just smooth it out with my fingers and wrap my hair around it to create a nice big body wave the Longest part about doing the curls like this is just making sure they get warm enough, so you're just kind of waiting. This is kind of one of my go-to styles that i've done for a long time. Practice and you'll be able to do it really fast and easy so same sections on this side, just starting in the back and working my way forward. It'S really easy to see what i have curled and what i haven't. So i don't feel like. I need any clips and the piece i'm working on is kind of separating the hair that needs to be curled from the hair. That'S already curled. So now, i'm just gon na shake it up, loosen up the curls all right. So that's it for day three. So this is day four starting to get really flat on top but, like the end, still maintains body, that's kind of like the worst part. Typically, i would want to wash my hair, but i committed to four day series and yeah. It'S really hard to go. Four days, i don't necessarily recommend it, but if your hair is a little less oily, then um, you could definitely get away with it, and if your hair is more oily, you might not even be able to make it to date. For so, first i'm going to go in with my karistas oil and rehydrate. Those ends make it shine again make it look decent, it's kind of like conditioning the ends without using like water and your regular conditioner that you would typically use okay. So you got the shine back and now i'm gon na go in with my fresh affair: dry shampoo, just like yesterday or in my fresh affair video you spray from six inches away. I have shine on the ends and my roots. Don'T look as oily anymore. Some of that curl from yesterday kind of stayed in my hair, i'm sort of tempted to just work with it and do the same thing again. So i'm going to use my t3 curler again, it's the easiest thing to do. Instead of fighting the texture of my hair, i like to just go with it, especially when i'm in a rush same thing. As yesterday, i'm just going to go in and add refined large barrel waves to my hair added tons of shine back into my hair and just made it a lot perkier now you have bouncy curls again this thing's doing something. Weird here looks like i need to get my highlights done. I have tons of roots right now, but that creates an extra challenge when you're trying to make the textures look the same. Just because blonde hair will look a little dryer and dark hair will look greasier. So the color is definitely contributing to why i can't go as long in between washes. I hope you enjoyed this series. Let me know in the comments below what you think and subscribe. If you like, hair fashion and beauty, i will see you next time.
