Hey youtube. Welcome to my channel today i wanted to try the dyson ear, wrap dupe of sorts called the done, hair total hairstyle right here. I have heard so many great things about the dyson ear wrap and it is very expensive. It is what five six hundred dollars so for me, i don't see myself ever really buying it, so i wanted to see if there was anything remotely similar to that and the first thing that popped up when i did a quick google search was this tic tac Viral dyson, ear, wrap dupe right here called the done hair styler. So i went on purchased it right away. I paid 130, i purchased it on the 21st. It said that it was ready for shipment on the 22nd and i didn't get it until yesterday may 7th. So it took about a little over two weeks to get to my house and it did ship from china, so i would say, expect about two weeks or so for it to come. If you are in the united states somewhere, not sure what it would be like if you're in europe, but i'm really excited to try this because it seems like it can potentially replace all of the hot tools that i have. So it has a hair dryer attachment right here for drying the hair. It has a round brush attachment. It is a bigger round brush bigger than i usually use, but we'll see how it performs it has the straight brush to kind of like for that. Sleek straight straighten your hairstyle and then also has two of these curling attachments, one for one side, one for the other. It only comes in one size, so the dyson does have multiple sizes, i think three or so, and another big difference. I noticed right off of the bat between this and the dyson is that this one basically only has three heat settings, and that is it. I know the dyson has the cold shot. So i guess you can mimic the cold shot by putting it to temperature one, but still it's still about the same, and i'm not sure how the technology is compared to the dyson i mean i did pay 130 versus six hundred dollars or five hundred dollars. That is a huge difference. I'Ve never tried a dyson, but i'm not expecting it to perform like a dyson, i'm just interested to see how these are gon na work on my hair. So before my hair dries out, i wanted to go ahead and try it out. I do have a very fine, thin hair, it's not a secret. I have a few videos on my channel. How do i make my hair look much more voluminous than it is so i have a as you can tell. I have a shortcut. It'S a little bit longer in the front, but nothing crazy. It'S like already drying on drying on the ends, and then i have kind of like curtain bangs, because my hair can be pretty stringy right here in the front. I like doing curtain bangs, because this way, when i style them a certain way, it kind of makes my hair look much more voluminous than it is. I do already have hair products in my hair and the two that i always always use are this heat, protectant spray and the root lifter right here, i'm not affiliated with monet. I just really like their products, and i like these two specifically, i use these all the time, so i do already have those in my hair the barrel itself. This one right here is very lightweight. The attachments are, i want to say, they're like plasticky, so they don't seem like they're the best quality. This is like yeah, it's kind of like seems like a plastic, it's not rubber. It'S not plastic. I'Ve never tried the dyson, so i'm not sure how it would compare. I did try this yesterday on dry hair and i was not impressed. I was like what i totally expected this to be way better, and i posted to my instagram stories that i got this and my friend irina said she has a dyson. Air wrap absolutely loves it, and i asked her: are you supposed to use this on wet hair? I looked at some videos and yes, so apparently 99 of the time. Most people use it on damp, not like soaking, wet hair but damp hair, where it's like almost dry kind of like my hair right now, which would make total sense because it is kind of like a hair dryer function. It uses air versus using actual like a hot heat like a curling iron technology, plug it in it is fairly loud. I'M going to turn it on settings, one two and three, so you can hear, and another thing that i noticed is that setting three is extremely hot to the point where i can't even hold it close to my head, because i feel like it's gon na burn. My head setting two is like it's hot, but it's not too hot and then setting one is definitely more cooling. But let me start off by using a round brush attachment. You just plop it in just clicks right in and to remove it. You click this button. Twist it and click super easy to use. I'M gon na put it in setting two. Let it get hot for a little bit and kind of give my roots some lift and then i'll go in with the curling iron portions, and i don't know we will see. Definitely adds volume instant volume, especially with a root lifter. I mean look at this. I don't want to dry it out too much, because i still want to use the hot tool attachment, but look at this volume you guys i did use it on setting three with this brush and the tools do get hot, but with the brush. It'S not as hot as if i were using setting three on this. The third setting definitely gets a lot hotter on the curler attachments. In my opinion, now i'm gon na go ahead and try to curl them and i'm gon na start with my curtain bangs, because i don't want them to dry out they're, actually, basically already dry. Okay, this is cute. Let me try and do the rest of the hair, i'm just going to use one attachment, and i'm going to flip it like this. Instead of swapping out the attachments, i feel like it'll just be easier, but you can definitely swap out the attachments from side to side depending on where the arrows are so do so. Okay, so first thing i noticed, is that uh you don't have as much control with this thing i feel like, especially if you have shorter hair, i'm very picky, not very picky. I like to curl my hair a certain way i like to leave my ends out straight and um. This is definitely a different way to curl your hair, but i will say it gives you a ton of volume for sure it's not really curly. It'S kind of like almost like, as if you used hot rollers, that same effect, definitely very voluminous. Like my hair is odd. My hair doesn't hold a curl in general. I feel like with this tool. I wouldn't use it so much to curl my hair as i would to create volume. It probably works better on longer, hair or if my hair was probably a little more wet because it does dry out really fast. Definitely not as curly as i thought it would be, but very very voluminous. Let me see if i can re-curl some pieces, even though they're already dry. Okay, this is as curly as my hair is gon na get so i'm gon na have to keep messing around with it. My friend arena did say that it takes a might, take a little bit to kind of get the technique down and get a hang of it. So i have to try like different things, see what works. I do like how this side curled. I do think this would be a great tool for longer hair for, like those loose voluminous curls like super loose curls, but it's also great for short hair to get that bouncy look like you guys saw, and then these are the curtain bangs if you style them. I, like styling them curling them inward, because that way, when i let them go, they kind of fall like curtains. If you will making your hair look more voluminous than it actually is, i would give this 4 out of 5 stars, i'm just very particular about how i like to curl my hair and i'm very used to curling my hair a certain way. This is definitely a new technique. I'M gon na have to keep messing around with it, but i just wanted to see how it would perform um and yeah four to five stars for me, so especially for the price you guys 130 dollars. That'S like a really good deal. I haven't noticed any like major major issues with it, but then again i've also, i also haven't tried the dyson, so i i don't know, i think it's worth a try check it out i'll leave the link to it down. In my description box for anybody that is interested, but that is my final review hope you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you guys. So much for watching and i'll see you guys in future videos you

BeautyBabe: Anyone else here‍♀️ to watch just because she’s so beautiful and her lashes are bomb

CharityS: Looks like it worked well. I’d like one of the dyson.

dujmovo: I have real airwrap and my hair is similar texture, thickness and length as yours. Whenever I'm trying to do the curls, it looks good the first 30 min. Then the curls drop and the hair sticks outwards. I think it might look better when my hair grows longer. I enjoy round brush and puddle brush attachments.

Debra Roth: Cool video I always like watching these kind of videos of yours. I will stick with my curling iron and straightener iron. You are a pro at curling hair me not so much have a great day ❤️
