Hi, I'm Tim Rogers, I'm a stylist that living proof and I'm here with Valerie and we're gon na show you how to style her hair in a curly style, she's. Usually someone that blow dries her hair. All the time right. You, Europe, you're, always in the salon. Getting a blowout it's a lot of time, expense, sort of damage to the hair and in 100-degree weather that we have today, it's just not gon na last, so we're gon na embrace her curl and I'm gon na show her how to get a really beautiful result. So we're gon na use the curl defining styling cream from living proof. It has something really clever that we've created gives the hair extended, curl memory, it's giving a light hold, and it's gon na give extra conditionings to hair, because oftentimes curly hair can appear a little dry. So I'm going to apply root to end. So do you put that on right after the shower it's better to get the products and as soon as possible? So I would blot the hair and then apply the product right away, even when it has still quite a lot of water in the hair. So we're combing this through nicely and then I'm gon na take the large cone and I'm gon na start to kind of find your wave pattern and I'm gon na tuck it behind the ear and start to form like a little s. Bend in the hair. Like a little bit of a flat wave and I'm taking the hair in sections, rather than twisting it almost like crimping it between each finger and I'm pinching around the hairline a little bit to get a little more lift your ears, believe it or not. I like natural Clips, so you can create the first little dent or the second end, by tucking, the hair behind your ears, because then also it's kind of out of your way. One of the key things is, is not to disturb the hair. Once you kind of got it into the shape you want it, you really don't wan na play with it too much now, if you were just to push this back over your shoulders and let it air-dry you're gon na have a great result more serious, alright! So we're back with Valerie and we've let our hair dry, naturally without any heat, and it's just really dried into this nice smooth wave. So we're gon na take one little squirt of Statten, which is living proof, hair serum right between my hands and gently kind of use it to tame down any flyaways, give an extra level of shines and start to reveal the weave pan. But now I'm going to do the kind of thing that anyone with curly hair is really afraid of we're gon na brush it we're gon na brush one side and show you how intact the wave pattern can stay because of the light hold and what's so nice Is that we can really break the Kalapana? You can see that the curl pattern is staying intact. It'S not a big frizz explosion. It'S just forming into like a beautiful curly wave or a curled me to wave. You can start pushing the hair around changing the part making it around and giving it a little personality.

KianteWench: Air drying without moving causes this sure. But walking around, doing things, your hair will move and disengage the curl. Its a great thing in theory. (I do this while sleeping rather than during the day to get this result and am mostly successful)

VinaKay95: My hair is exactly like that! Gonna try this method out! Looks so pretty

Gabriela Pernudi: as a curly hair person... i f**** need this!!!! SHE BRUSHED HER HAIR AND IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE A MASS OF NOTHING!!! im so impressed

Kim: I'm not impressed. Her hair looked greasy at the roots and dry at the ends.

luckyDancer100: Pretty but tbh I get the same result by scrunching random sections of hair. And it takes less effort

Liz VS: Ok this looks good!

keymeko95: Not great I mean especially after brushing.

Jen LaForte: Her hair looks greasy/oily on the top

Laura Lee: that looks like poo
