Alrighty guys time for an updated wash day routine. Today, i'm going to be doing mousse gel mousse, which was created by coffee curly girl on instagram, so go check her out, but we're doing a full wash day routine today. So i'm going to be starting with bounce curl clarifying shampoo just going to get this all over my scalp. I also love their moisturizing shampoo and i'm going to take my scalp brush, which is going to help cleanse my scalp and make sure that i don't have any buildup and, as a reminder, you can find the links to all the products i used today. In the description below next, i'm gon na go in with bounce curl conditioner. I use a lot of this and i'm just gon na finger detangle that and then leave it in for five minutes, rinse that out and then i'm going to flip over. So i could start styling and we're going to start with inner sense, sweet spirit, leave-in about four spritzes and i'm just gon na rake that through note that i'm giving special attention to the back of my head. This typically gets stuck and you'll see that throughout the routine. So next we're going to go in with pantene and curls mousse about a softball size amount and once again going to rake that in going to pay special attention to the back again and i'm actually gon na rake in a bit more while flipping side to side. Just so, i can make sure that the back doesn't get stuck to my head next up, i'm going to take my wet brush to create clumps, and i find that this creates really even uniform, curls moving on to the anasi custard. So it's hard to see how much i take, but it's like one small scoop and i'm gon na emulsify this in my hands and then just use praying hands to glaze it over my hair. We are not raking at any point this time forward because we don't want to break up the clumps that we just created with the brush. So then, i'm just gon na do some scrunching and next up we're gon na just spray a little bit of water. Just so that our hair is hydrated and prepped for the next step, taking another small softball size amount of pantene pearls, mousse same thing: gon na just use praying hands. We are not breaking up these clumps, so next we're going to do some more scrunching and you should be hearing a squishing noise with water coming out and i'm going to take my handy dandy shower cap. So this allows me to keep my hair wet. While i take my time getting ready, so i'm going to rinse my face off get dressed and my hair is going to stay soaking wet until i want to dry it so about 10 minutes later i put my plop on so this is when i start the Drying process, i have a whole video on this if you're interested or need help about 10 minutes later i take that off and i ever so carefully flip upright so that i don't disturb my curls next up we're going to take some clips to give myself some Volume in the front - and i pretty much just place three right in the front and then a fourth to tame a wild baby hair. On the other side, i'm going to take my extava diffuser and for some reason i struggled putting this on and what i'm going to do is called pixie diffusing. So i'm only going to keep the diffuser on while it's next to my head and when i want to move it, i turn it off and then turn it back on again. So i'm going to do this all around my head and then once i'm finished, going around i'm going to flip over and do the same thing upside down. So i pretty much do this going back and forth between upright and upside down, for as long as i have patience for, i prefer to air dry most of the way, but if you're, someone who likes to blow dry by all means float right. 100. As my hair dries, i just readjust my clips just to make sure i have volume so since i air dry about four hours later, i'm going to be 100 dry. So i'm just gon na take my clips out and fluff and i had a pretty hard cast here, so i decided to use some of my favorite pure door argan oil to help me break the cast and once i have my hair off left, i'm going to Separate some of these curl clumps just to give me a little extra body and volume and here's the final result. This is seriously one of my go-to combos lately and i always get a long-lasting wash out of it. Hope you guys like this video and if you try this don't forget to tag me on instagram. You can hit me up at brick, curls or use the hashtag brickcurlsmyhair see you guys next time.

C VMA: The other day I tried doing everything upside down and Idk how you guys do it because my back was killing me lol I mean the results were great but my back was out of it hahaha

Kayla Pierce: Your hair is gorgeous!! How do you get like literally no frizz at all? Thank you for the tips!

jubilee: I tried this and so far so good! Thx for the helpful tips!

A C: Loved this! Thanks for the tips Britt!

Cate Hensley: we have pretty much the exact same hair! can't wait to try this.

MJ cool swag TV: I love this routine

Peldyn - Life with Cats: I am on day 4 and so glad I saw this before I washed my hair

Michelle Beckham: Beautiful results!

MJ cool swag TV: I love this routine

Monique Lee: Can’t wait to try this! Sad I just washed before seeing this. Next time I’ll try this for sure.

Jade J: Do you ever get flakes using the custard? Not sure if I used too much or if it just didn’t mix with my LIC!

Kimberly Espinosa: I have a super hard time keeping my hair wet. It’s constantly getting dry and frizzy while I try to style. I kept wetting my hand and trying to gentle rewet it a bit but I was wondering if it’s some sort of imbalance in my hair. I am in the process of healing my hair from damage from devacurl. Do you have any tips for this? I’m writing this after trying this routine with my shower cap on lol

Joe: can this be used as an overnight plop routine then diffuse in the morning?

Julie Colon: I like this combo have to learn the root clipping tech. I like how you diffuse partially then air dry I do the same it creates less frizz for me

Coffee Curly Girl: Great video!!! ❤️

Shruti Bagayatkar: Amazing ❤️

Tomar Crauswell: Gotta try this!

Carney Family: Is there a video that will take me through a full week so I know what routines to do when? Love what I'm seeing, yet I don't know where to begin, LOL.

A Mast: How often do you clarify? What do you use when not clarifying?

Tara Gillespie: Beautiful hair I hear a lot about 'squish to condish', is this something you do?

Star 123: For my purposes, to copy her steps, start watching at 0:48 this is just her leave-in conditioner.

Zoe Cross: I am wondering if using mousse, gel, mousse would be too much on my fine hair? Has anyone tried this on fine hair? Maybe it would work if I used very small amounts of each? Thanks

charmane: I have frizzy curly hair.. How often will I use mousse?

Zoe Cross: Hello do you style on soaking wet hair? Thanks

Valentina: What’s better, mousse gel mousse or gel mousse gel?

Onz: Is it ok to use this much product in hair? I am judging not giving how beautiful your curls actually are and this does seem a result of a long time perfectly caring for it, but to know if it is ok to use a lot in the week or keep it on occasions

Caroline Preusser: Why did you put it in the shower cap after saying instead of just going straight to plopping? :)

Julie Colon: Also do you have a curly cut or lots of layers

TANNYRAW: Wow EPIC video !!!!!

Ananya B: Hi please suggest some other custards except COCONUT AVOCADO CURL DEFINING CUSTARD..

Anna Burns: doesn't the pantene mousse cause crunchinesss? I have so much trouble with most mousses. I have super fine hair, so I actually have trouble with lots of products. I have to be very light handed, but mousses are the worst for me!

Telisa Taylor Carter:

Christina Paden: Is pantene silicone free?
