Hello there and welcome back to my channel today, i am excited to be doing a review of seven hairstyling products now. What makes this list extra special is. These are all recommendations from you. I keep a running list and every time in comments. One of you gives me your recommended product, your favorite product, to use on your hair. I make a note of it and then periodically. I will purchase a group of them and put them to the test. So over the last two months i would say i've kind of compiled this grouping of products and each one of them. I have tried at least two times i'll, tell you why i made myself at least do twice and some of them. I have tried more extensively, but before we get into this, if you are new here, a special welcome to you. I hope you'll hit that subscribe button and now, let's get started all right. So for this video i'm changing things up a little bit and i am going to actually rank these seven products. Seventh place is going to be my least favorite and the number one, of course, my most favorite. I will pop on the screen here the pricing, the retail price of each item. I don't know some of these offhand, so i just thought that would be easier to do, but as i go through, i'm going to give you the bullet points as far as what each product is supposed to do, how it performed for me how it smells lots Of you know, that's a big issue for me and then finally, i will give you my personal opinion and feelings on the product now, as we go through each one of these. If i don't love your favorite product, please don't be offended. It'S just that for me and my hair texture and what i'm looking for in a product it might not have measured up, but it might work wonderfully for you and i'm happy for you. So let's get started now coming in at number. Seven is the redken wax blast 10.. Now this is, it says, high impact, finishing spray, wax the control level is a medium control, so i knew right off the bat. It probably wouldn't have as much hold as i am accustomed to, but it says you can spray on for perfectly undone. Texture aerosol wax, adds body and dimension with a choppy satin. Matte finish so i will say this does add some texture to the style and it is matte. So i didn't feel like i had any extra shine that came onto my hair um. It is aerosol uh. Let me just say one of you already knew what i was gon na say the scent on this is terrible. I don't know i i just don't know you're gon na hear me repeat this a few times, but i don't know why it's so hard to make a great smelling product for the hair. But this one has one of the worst scents and since it's aerosol it really just kind of coats, your hair. Now i also felt like, even though it says it's a medium hold. I didn't really feel like it gave me hold at all. It did add some texture, but i had to then go in with another wax to make it work. So therefore, this was just not a win for me all right now, coming in at number six. Is this black and white, genuine pluco hairdressing pomade? Now i had never heard of this product before and i think it probably came from one of my uk subscribers because it is made um. It does say it's made in the usa, but they do have um some distributors in the uk. So this says that black and white, genuine pluto, is a versatile hairdressing that allows you to mold sculpt and create texture. It is firm, but pliable giving long hold, control that lasts all day simply work a small amount of the genuine pluco into your hair from the roots through the mid lengths and to the ends with your fingertips and style to achieve the desired effect. All right. First of all, you get a ton of product, there's 200 milliliters in here, not quite sure what that translates to ounces, but it's a lot of product. It is clear, and it says it is a firm but pliable texture. You know moldable all that. Well, when you touch it, it's a very interesting texture, so it's actually pretty much clear and it feels to me a lot like vaseline, it's not quite as sticky as that, but close uh has a little bit of some wax waxy texture. It does remain pliable kind of in the hair. You have quite a long time to work it through. It doesn't really dry um and it does add some nice bit of texture and shine to the hair. However, it does not it's not able to provide enough hold to sculpt your hair into something different than what it's doing so um. I used this in a video uh i'll show the picture up here and several of you commented on my hair in that video, and it was just a by chance kind of i was striking out of how i was styling, my hair with this and finally pulled It over to the other side and it worked, but it doesn't have hold power. It does give texture to the hair. It gives a nice bit of shine, but there really isn't hold. I feel like the hair um, especially if you have finer hair and don't and you're lacking body. This is not going to add any umph or lift or body to your hair um. The other thing that kind of put it down on the list. For me again the scent now this one, though, oddly enough, it smells like some kind of baby product. I can't quite put my finger on it: it's not the good smelling, johnson's, baby lotion or powder, it's more on the varying side of maybe baby diaper cream, or something like that. It'S an odd scent to put in your hair, and it does linger quite a bit. So that paired with the fact that there really isn't a lot of hold power is putting this towards the bottom of the list. For me, all right numbers, four and five were pretty similar in how i feel about them. They'Re different types of products, but i'm putting this one at number. Five and i'll. Tell you why. So this is the finola working wax and it's by uh. It says styling tools, it has all these different languages, so i got ta find the english here. It says it's a shaping paste, it shapes and defines with a semi polish effect, excellent for styles that require creativity and fantasy work, a small amount with fingers and create undefined as desired applied to dry hair. So this one looks like this um, it's more of like a cream texture, so i was kind of surprised at how soft and creamy it was by the description. I thought it would be a little bit firmer. It does say on the lid that it's a fix. Four out of five, so i think that is kind of the level of hold, and i think it's supposed to be close to you know pretty strong hold um, but this one i would say the semi polish effect is true. It does add a nice bit of shine to the hair, but not overly, so it doesn't make the hair greasy and it does provide some good amount of texture. But again i don't feel like this has amazing hold for me it's more than the pluco for sure, but um it doesn't have quite as much hold as i am looking for. The other drawback to this one again is the scent um. I can't quite put my finger on it. It'S kind of manly um. It has a manly kind of perfumy woodsy scent. I was trying to describe this to one of my viewers and i feel like it is that woodsy slightly spicy, maybe a little perfumey and it lingers you kind of don't think it will cause initially when you take off the lid you're, not smelling it, but when You get up close and then, when you put it through the hair, it is very strong and it does linger. So. Therefore, it's not a complete dead as far as performance goes, but again it doesn't give quite the amount of hold that i want and desire, and the scent is why it's down towards the bottom, all right now number four: this is the sebastian man, okay, so that Should be the clue right there, i'm already not gon na like the scent right. This is called the sculptor matte clay. Now what this says is it is a mineral clay with matte finish long, lasting hold and texture, with a stimulating scent of bergamot and pink pepper for a vibrant freshness, oh boy. I so wanted that bergamot to come through oh mercy, maybe that is in there. But okay, let's start about the good stuff! First, all right, so this is definitely a clay like texture. When i first put this on my fingers, it's pretty firm but when i put it out and then spread it between my fingers, it reminded me of a clay mask that i would put on my face. So it definitely is a clay type of texture and you could tell that's the ingredient base now. This one does not give any shine, so it is completely matte and it does provide a good amount of good texture and hold. It is not greasy at all, and so those components of this product are what put it above, the vanilla wax for me, so it does have good stay power. Throughout the day i felt like my hair fell a little bit, but it wasn't bad. But for me the big big big issue here is the scent, and it's not just there. When you first apply, i mean it. Is there all day until you go to bed or wash it out, so if you're a guy, then you will probably really love this, but this is really not a scent that us, girls are gon na love, and so therefore it comes in at number four. All right coming in at number three, you might think i cheated, but i didn't. This is not enjoy dry wax. This is enjoy clay, so i've had a couple of subscribers say that you actually prefer this over the dry wax, because you have finer hair and you feel like this doesn't weigh it down as much as the wax does. So i was excited to finally get my hands on this and try it when i unscrewed the lid the first time and looked at it. I thought that looks exactly like the dry wax. Are we sure this isn't the same product? I mean look at the two, it's really hard to tell a difference, but i could tell one difference right away, and that is the scent. Oh, my goodness many of you have asked me what the scent of enjoy dry wax is, and literally it smells like wax. I mean there there is fragrance on the ingredients list, but the scent of this is so minute that you shouldn't be able to really even smell anything going on your hair, so side note. If your dry wax has a strong scent, you probably have an old jar, but that aside, the clay has a very strong perfumey scent and as somebody who is scent sensitive, it's one of those scents that i don't do well with. I did, however, attempt to use this several times and it does perform very similarly to the enjoy dry wax. It is just a little lighter in the hold, but surprisingly i mean it's really not any easier for me to get out of the jar um. It has more almost more of a rubbery texture. It is not at all like the sebastian clay texture, so that was another thing that was kind of surprising. To me, the texture is more rubbery, not quite like the enjoy dry wax the wax. I actually feel like it melts and warms up a little quicker and emulsifies a little quicker than the clay does, so it did give me good amount of hold and texture, but again that scent is just what is not good for me. If you are okay with scents - and you want something - that's just slightly lighter in weight than the dry wax, you might want to give this a try all right now. We have two clear winners in this list for me personally and number one and two were really close and i'll. Tell you why i put one where it is so um coming in at number two is the fiber blast texture cream? This is by color proof, color care authority. I used this in my recent undercut. Pixi rocker style tutorial and you saw me demonstrate what fiber cream means. So this comes out looking like a lotion basically, and it feels like a lotion. It feels like it's going to be wet in your hair and the first time i used this. I thought. Oh no. This is not going to work because i didn't want anything that was going to wet my style down, but let me show you what fiber means. Do you see that somehow, even though it looks like it is the texture of a lotion, it has all of this fun fiber, so that fiber, when you put this in your hair, it really does give wonderful, lift texture and hold to your hair. Now, personally, this held my style now, of course, i always use hairspray after i put in whatever product i'm using. I don't feel like i had to use an inordinate amount of hair spray, but it held that rocker hairstyle, with my kind of normal amount of hairspray. All day, all evening, i don't think i came home. I was out all evening until like 10 o'clock at night, and my hair was still perfectly there. So i feel like the hold is really good. It gives maybe a tiny little bit of shine, but really nothing really super noticeable, and i love the scent on this there's a slight little bit of maybe some fruitiness fruity freshness, but i don't feel like it's girly and i don't feel like it's manly. I just feel like this is a scent done right for the hair and overall, i have been super impressed with this and pleased, and i continue to reach for this, and so that to me is a huge sign. If i choose it on certain days over my enjoy dry wax so that one definitely gets a stamp of approval from me and, of course, last but not least, coming in at number one is the bed head? Manipulator mat um. This surprised me the first time i used it. This is gon na be another one of those that doesn't work. It looks kind of like it's going to be a cream and it feels a little bit like a cream because it's it's kind of soft. It'S easy to get out of the jar. It smells wonderful um. This one has a little more fruity, i'm gon na say: laffy taffy! That'S! If you know what laffy taffy is that's what if i really get in there and smell, i think it has a laffy taffy type of scent, so a little bit sweet, tiny bit fruity, but it's a really nice scent and the texture on this. It seems like it's going to be super lightweight and do nothing, but it stays pliable. So in the past, when i've tried certain pomades like this, they dry so quickly and disappear on your hands that you're constantly having to add more product. I do use more product of this than i do enjoy dry wax. However, i do feel like this stays manipulative for quite some time, and it is what i used today on my hair and i have used it a number of times as well. I feel like this has a pretty good ability of manipulating your hairstyle and molding it and shaping it, and the hair will pretty much go where you want it to go. Okay, so, on the jar it says, are you a master? Manipulator keep your style on lockdown to pull an all-nighter powered by bodifying texturizers to max out your style, and then it just says: work through clean, wet or dry, hair and style with attitude. Now i personally like to use this on dry hair, but i feel, like those claims, are actually very accurate um. I do feel. Like my style, i mean my hair has been styled now for a number of hours and it is still holding strong. I had to go run an errand and everything has stayed in place again. I do set it with hairspray, but i feel like this. One really does do a good job of separating, and the reason why i put this at number one over this one is because this one is very easy to wash out of the hair. This one surprisingly takes a little extra scrubbing, maybe even a second run through with shampoo, to fully feel like i get it washed out of the hair. All of the others seem to wash out pretty easily. The clay is probably the other one that needs a little extra oomph to get out of the hair, but everything else washes out easily, but all right guys so that wraps up this video. I hope that you enjoyed that and if you are looking for something other than enjoy dry wax, maybe you can't find it or you've tried it. It'S not really your favorite. I would definitely highly recommend tying number one or two or if any of these other products. If the qualities that i listed are something that you are looking for, then i would definitely check them out. I will leave links to all the products in the description box below and thank you to all of you who recommended these products to me. I always enjoy trying new things and i do keep a running list. I still have a ton more products to try, so don't forget to hit that subscribe. Button and i'll see you next time. Bye.

Melanie Wright: Great review! Always helps to know about the scents. I’m scent sensitive too and I can’t stand perfume-y hair products!

Kalifornia Kasual: Hi Sharalee! I love the Freeze it hairspray you use, have been using it for years, just picked up the Enjoy wax and really like it. But hands down my favorites are Got 2B Hair powder for volume and Garnier Frutis (spelling?) Texture tease. I end up ordering both from Amazon, but both are super cheap and I have yet to find any better products!!

The Badgerette: Thank you I have short spike hair and I have a massive collection of tried and true. The one that is my fav and they do not make it anymore, it was by Garnier and called "Disorder" a spray power wax. I was able to buy 2 cases before they sold out. You can stand in a typhoon and your hair stayed! It was manageable if you wanted to touch up during the day. Thank you for sharing your reviews!!!

Christina Wooff: I've thought about trying the Manipulator Wax. I use the Manipulator Paste sometimes. It's not too bad.

Carole Anderson: It's always fun to watch these videos. That way, you do all the testing and I trust your opinion. I'm not as sensitive to scent as you are, but will not use something if the scent is off. Think I will try the Bed Head product, as the Calista Embellish doesn't give a lot of hold. Thank you so much for all this useful information. Take care, my friend.

Debbie Sanders: I love the bed head it smells so nice, I've tried a few others but really like it. ❤

E Clark: Well, I don’t really use those type of products for my style, but if I could trust anyone with being an expert on this product it would be YOU! Your hair is amazing and I love it!

Darci Bogaard: After watching your hair tutorials I started using Catwalk root boost and Enjoy Dry Wax. I love both of them.

Julie Ligon: Thank you! Sounds like #'s 1 & 2 might be worth trying. My hair is very fine, so I need something that won't weigh my hair down. Sadly the Enjoy dry wax does.

Wendy McCurdy: I’m on my 3rd jar of Enjoy Dry Wax and I will be forever grateful for your recommendation along with Catwalk Root Boost❣️

Riche Scarbrough: Oh my gosh! So glad that the Bed Head wax was your favorite! I watched your video to see what other products are out there and I love this wax! I too wear my hair spikey...similar to yours and love it. Thank you for all your great advice! God bless! Riche' ("Rishay" ).

Deb Sarley: I really enjoyed this video! 8 May try the bed head manipulator only because I can never seem to get the enjoy dry wax out of my hair! I love it but it still stays in even after 2 to 3 washings..but thank you for honest opinions on these products. I can always count on your recommendations!

Lisa Henkel: I know you love the Enjoy Dry Wax. I cannot stand the way it smells, but WOW, it gives new life to my pixie like no other! I'll just hold my nose and keep using it

Libby Miller: This was GREAT!..I am always looking for hair products to help style and shape my short hair. I have had the hardest time finding one that not only smells good, but actually works! I'm going to try the Bed Head one...I like the fact that it is easy to wash out. Oh, by the way, I LOVE your top....is it a top or a jacket? Sure enjoy your tutorials! Keep them comin!! Take care my friend!

Sandy J: We LOVED this video! Thanks so much! I wonder if you will ever find one that you like better than ENJOY DRY WAX? You'll have to keep trying more and we appreciate the effort you put in to doing these for us!

Gayle Logsdon: Sharalee I got a kick out of this video. You made me laugh several times about the scents and especially the hair dressing that is like Vaseline oh my goodness !!! You have a way of making videos fun . Happy Friday tomorrow The weeks just fly by Looking forward to Sunday Solo.

Debra K.: Hi Sharalee, I love all of your videos! They are just the best and I look so forward to them. I wanted to tell you to try the Aquage Texturizing Paste, it’s my absolute favorite. I have a short pixie with thick hair and it works beautiful! Hope you can give it a try.

Sally Piercy: I tried the Color Blast Fiber and I couldn’t stand the fragrance! The fragrance followed me all day! I’m returning to Amazon for that reason. I didn’t feel like it had the best hold either for my fine hair. Enjoy is the best!! Thanks for your input! I love these types of videos. I also love your necklace and denim jacket! ❤️

Faye Ehm: This video was informative but Sharalee’s descriptions of each product’s scent gave me life! My recommendation was not her personal #1 ... so I’m ordering the TIGI. Anyone ever try the CIBU Sticky Rice? Another fun one for us pixies.

Melissa Kelley: Sharalee, I just discovered your channel a few days ago and it’s helped immensely with both styling my pixie and improving how my makeup looks. I couldn’t find Enjoy, so I picked up a hard edge-holding wax. I love how much it helps bring out the layers!! Also, with the fiber paste that was your #2 in this video, I always use it with wet hair. For me, it enables me to undo “bed head” very quickly in the morning without having to wet my hair

Joyce A: This was a fun video. Always interesting to see what the viewers recommend!

Darlene Zajkowski: Appreciate all the testing that you do. I'm going to give BedHead a try. Thank you

Stuart Pierce: Good video. I love Bumble and Bumble texture spray. Thanks Sharalee Jennifer ❤️

Tina Park: Your makeup looks incredible very subtle and pretty colours. I'm wondering if you've show this look on a previous tutorial? The pale pink and beige is something I'd like to try. Anyway thank you.

Donna Marie Alpaugh: Love it. Thanks for testing,,,,always looking for a new hair product.

Sara Ann: You are absolutely precious! I have a hair just like yours, thick, with your same cut, and I’m always looking for a wax or something to style my hair. I am currently using a Paul Mitchell product, and it’s just so thick and sticky. I don’t like that sticky feeling as I’m trying to get it through my hair. I have used just plain hair gel on my dry hair to mold it into place, ending with hairspray, and I like that way better than the sticky, thick stuff. What product would you recommend that isn’t super thick and sticky?

M Goodman: You didn't steer me wrong with Root Boost, so I trust what you say! :-)Thank you, Sharalee!

Jane Fleet: I forgot about the Bed Head Manipulater mat. I really like it too. I've been looking for a new product so I think I'll revisit it. Thanks for sharing.

Terri Sims: Thank you for rating these products. I love you hair and I am going to use your pictures or videos to show my hair dresser what I want. Thanks again

Lenore Cordes, Realtor: Thank you for reviewing for us❤️

Jane Huey: Love your makeup...and your shirt. I’m one of your viewers that’s not a fan of the dark corner shade. I have fine hair and have it cut in a bob. If you have any suggestions on products for a lot of volume let me know. Thanks pretty lady.

Susan Hassey: Great video but I am sticking with the Enjoy dry wax.

Kim Hiatt: This was a good test to do. I will definitely try a couple but I'm so disappointed you didn't try the product I recommend in 2 separate videos.

Paula Kay: I usually use Mess Around Disrupting Creme from Redken but I received & started using the Enjoy Dry Wax (but I'm on my 2nd day of using it -the verdict is still out on it!) I'm not sure if I put too much in the back of my hair really early this morning, so the back of my hair is feeling quite dirty right now! I'll try again tomorrow morning and make sure it's not just a user error! Haha! I'll keep you posted! Also, just a little FYI: I just found the Bed Head Manipulator Matte Wax on Amazon for Under $7.35 whereas Ulta has it for $22.99 ...quite a price difference! Take Care & thanks for another great video! xo

Beth Ann Simmons: I'm a very 'mature ' great grandmother. My hair is thin and straighter than straight. Any advice on products to have and to hold that won't weigh my hair down? Need great hold. Blessings Beautiful Lady!

Pansy Laws: thanks for the video am going to try the 1 and 2 i always use enjoy love it and you looks so good tonight love your necklace

Ric Calendar: Great review sweet lady! Glad to see you liked Manipulator!!

Sweet Serenity: Great review

Mimi: LOL if you were a dog you’d have to be a Blood Hound. But I can relate to smells that can make or break the deal. Had a HS boyfriend that I loved over the summer. But then winter came and his winter coat smelled like grammpa. So he had to go. Love your product info to keep us from buying over priced stink glue. ❤️❤️

catmama54: How I wish I had your hair. It’s just perfect. Love your necklace

Donna K: The Bed Head Matte product is half off at Ulta currently, not sure why, not sure how long!!! Hope it is not being discontinued!

Kay Downing: Hmm, baby diaper cream smell. Just what we want our hair to smell of!

Sarah Manfra: Great video! Love your haircut! It suits you! Where did you get your necklace? Gorgeous!

C. L.: Interesting how we all have differing opinions about some of those products we already tried. You are blessed to have what most would consider perfect hair. I can tell when you blow dry it you have some body and it retains some shape before wax. I have tried manipulator and the fiber one. I did not get results I liked nor do I with enjoy dry wax. It is almost impossible to get out of my hair and makes it feel dry. My hair is even thicker than yours and very coarse. I get the best results out of kenra texture taffy which I know you do not care for. And it does smell like grape taffy which I do like. Everyone needs to consider that all hair is different. Yours is perfect and I appreciate you giving us options to know what is out there. Blessings.

Marc Layton: Hi Precious Sharalee...You look gorgeous...I absolutely LOVE YOUR HAIR THIS VID !! The colour is great & the spikes sticking up like that way ..love it!!! Thanx for this fun vid....praying for You All in America..... Blessings & Love Marc.

Deb Stine: Sharalee. In one of your videos you mentioned a hair product that had 25 ingredients good for your hair. Would you mind repeating the name of that product? Thanks millions.

tobsky69: I absolutely love the look of the enjoy, it is difficult to buy in England as are some of your other products, my hair is very similar to yours just blonde, could you possibly let me know the nearest English product to the enjoy xxx Thankyou

Zandra Crisp: Love your hair!!!! And makeup think I'm getting mine cut that way to... And I got all new makeup for Christmas I have eyeshadows that's called chocolate palette...

S_beene: What eyeshadow/make up are you wearing? I love it!!!!

Michelle Cagler: Does enjoy dry wax make your hair feel dirty like spray wax? I loved the living proof molding clay but it’s out of stock!

Sandra Linton: Hi, great piano solo today, and love your eye makeup, is it pink or mauve in your crease? Thanks for your previous reply on hair products.

Rebecca Brown: Love your videos! Would you please supply a link to the N-Joy hair product that you use? I cannot seem to find it. In another video, you advise the Catwalk root boost is being or has been discontinued. I did a google search and found it; 3 oz cans for $18.

April Adams: I know this is probably an older video. But I just recently got my haircut using a picture of you and your hairstyle. I unfortunately do not have the money to spend on all these expensive products. Are there any drugstore products that would work for me to keep my spikes up and the back?

Connie: Man...decisions decisions 〰️〰️️️️️Glad we know now..what you use to keep your awesome locks at bay. I LOVE Bed Head priducts. I use After PartyTGIF.Love it. Thanks for the hair #ParTe#. GOD BLESS.You STAY WELL.

Sandra Cokes: Hello !Where can I purchase the fiber cream ? I would love to try it !

EL T: Would any of these products be good for flyaways? What would you recommend?

Aging gracefully: Hi Sharalee.....I also love your hoodie jacket and would like to order one. Not sure if I could wear a junior size. If I normally wear size medium in a ladies, do you think.a large or XL in a juniors?

Angel Motes: I have the enjoy wax and it smells like a container full of chemicals. I have only used it a few times because of the smell.

Marti Johnson: Have you tried any of the powders to add fullness (ie. sexy hair powder play)?

audrey so: Hello my friend, what to tell you except that you are super beautiful in this video, I love your jean jacket, j and I love your necklace (I know it is made by you) and the makeup, in short, why so much beauty haha

Martha Marshall: You are so cute in these videos! I’m the same way about how my hair products smell! I open mine in the store before I buy if I can (probably not the smartest thing with all that’s going on) but I just must know before I buy! I currently alternate the blue bed head manipulator (along with Enjoi dry wax) but have never tried the green so I think I’m gonna have to just try it now my fav “Beauty YouTuber” has given her stamp of approval! Lol! TFS and always making me smile! You’re so fun and normal....AND in the world we live in, that is so refreshing! So glad I found your channel and you are doing more videos! Just wish TX and CA were closer so we could be better friend! Be Blessed sweet lady! ❤️

Helen Webb: Hello Sharalee,my enjoy dry wax has a strong smell that I don't like at all! I ordered it online from Amazon,Should I try and return it and get my money back? And also I have a finer hair than what your texture is so would the bed head be good for fine hair?

Linda Cummings: I'm wondering if u have a tips on using the enjoy dry wax, because it doesn't work for me like u promote you say it isn't greasy but not true for me plus I don't get the results that u have on your hair my style is similar to yours any hints.
