[ Applause, ], hey guys what is up and welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here my name is sam and if you haven't yet subscribed, please subscribe! So you don't miss any more of my videos. So today i am doing a very, very highly requested video that is showing you guys how i achieve this nice beachy waves, hairstyle and an important little note is that this hairstyle is completely heatless, and it's literally what i do to my hair 99 of the time. So if you guys have been og subscribers, you would know that i actually made a video about this hairstyle way back when i first started my youtube channel and i was so awkward on camera literally talking solo, not really explaining good of what i was doing. So i really just wanted to make this updated video for you guys, so that you could really learn how to do this. Hairstyle. Now that i am a better youtuber and can better explain myself on camera, because my old video on this hairstyle was definitely not my best work and i feel like i just really owe it to you guys to fully explain how to do this hairstyle. So yeah. That'S what today's video is going to be my go-to heatless ichi waves. Hairstyle, you don't need any rollers, you don't need any socks or crazy stuff like that. You just need to braid your hair and i'm going to show you guys a very, very easy and quick way to learn how to french braid your own hair, so yeah. If you guys want to see how i achieved this cute, heatless hairstyle, then just keep watching. Okay, so first i start off by washing my hair and putting it up in a towel to get rid of most of the moisture. I usually just give my hair a little bit of a shake so that i can take it off and it's not dripping wet and i could easily apply my leave-in conditioner. I use the revlon unique one and i'll have it linked in my description. If you guys want to get it, this gives you 10 real benefits, such as heat protection and frizz control, which i really love. I only need a few sprays all over my hair and then a few sprays in my hands to really work it through the ends and like all over my hair. Also, this stuff detangles your hair, like no other like look how easily i was able to brush through my hair after putting this in it's honestly, the best leaving conditioner i've ever tried, and i highly highly recommend it so once i have my hair all brushed out, I wait about 10 minutes for my hair to dry a little bit more and then we start to braid. So once your hair is about 75 dry you're ready to start braiding your hair. Now i know this can look very intimidating and i promise with practice. Anybody can do it, so i start off by parting, my hair down the middle and taking small sections at the front of my head and splitting it into three tiny pieces and then begin a normal braid after two or three seconds into the braid. I will then begin adding little sections of hair into each strand before crossing them over into the braid. As you can see, i take new hair and combine it with the strand and then hook my finger around and then pull it through to the next section. When i hook my finger around like this, it really just makes sure that the hair i added is completely joined with the strand of the braid, and you could easily combine it into the braid. If that makes sense, like i said, practice makes perfect and it's probably way easier for you guys just watch me. Do it and learn rather than me, explain it because it's just kind of hard to explain, but i promise it's really not that hard and practice really does make perfect. All there is to. It is just adding more hair to the braid each time as you go along and make sure you pull as tight as you can to make it as neat as possible. But you do not have to stress about how neat it looks, because even if it's a little bumpy and not perfect, it still will come out fine. This literally happens to me all the time. So then, i just tie it with a rubber band and start on the next side. I found that doing this in pigtails gives the best wave size and proportion throughout my head. So i really suggest you guys do two french braids on each side. I hope by just watching me: do this it's easier for you guys to learn because it probably sounds way more complicated. The way i'm describing it, but i promise you as long as you're, just adding more hair into the braid. You will get the beautiful waves that you want so then, once you have your two braids all nice and tightly secured, you just leave them in overnight and you go to sleep and you wake up and i'll see you guys in the morning all right guys. So it is the next morning and my braids are completely dried, as you can tell, and i just wanted to point out how messy they get once you sleep with them, because that is completely normal and usually that like doesn't affect the way that they look once You take them out, so it's completely fine if they get really messy like look at that all this hair is coming out of them, so just know that this entire process can be like super messy and it can still come out really really good with that being Said once it is the next morning, it is now time to take them out, but i will say making sure that you wait. The appropriate amount of time to take them out is so so important. It literally will make or break this hairstyle. So you want to make sure that your braids are completely dry and that the hair is completely dried, even inside the braids, like the parts that you can just feel with your hands. So what i usually do to test that is. I will just put my finger like in the braid a little bit and like really just feel inside and see if there's any moisture still in there. If it's been a long time with the men and there's still a little bit of moisture there, you could just take a blow dryer really quickly and like just kind of heat them up a little. But for me leaving them in overnight and just leaving them in. For as long as possible really works for me and they usually are just completely dry by the time, i want to take them out. So with that being said, they're completely dried right now and i'm about to take them out. You want to take off the little rubber band. This is also an important part. You want to unravel it very gently, like literally don't brush through the pieces that come out just unravel it gently like this, so that those curls keep their shape and you're not like brushing it out and making them all like separated, just keeping the shape gently unravel It like so don't brush them out just unravel and then once it's pretty much all out just leave it don't even touch it. Don'T like mess with it. You want the curls to just kind of sit, the way that they are, so i usually just like, throw it behind me and don't touch it. While i take out the other side, i have a very light hand when i do it just take them out. Okay, so now, as you can see, we already have some really beautiful curls they're, not frizzy. They look perfectly fine, even though the braid was like a little crazy so now before i touch it and like play with it, i will literally just spray it with hairspray that the curls have something to stick to, and i do this because whenever i first take Them out, i feel like that's when they look the best that they'll ever look, so i like to spray it right away so that it can kind of keep that shape as much as possible and as you can see, this was a super, easy and quick tutorial. I literally am doing this all the time because it doesn't take any heat at all. It'S super good for your hair and it's just the perfect everyday hairstyle. I wear this in so many different ways. You could do little braids with it put it up in a little bun. It lasts me like three to four days. It'S super convenient. I highly suggest you guys try this tutorial. If you do send me pictures of how it came out, send me tick tocks of how it came out whatever you guys want to do so. This is your sign to go and try these nice heatless beachy waves, and, let me know how it comes out also, like i said, all the products that i use in my hair, as well as my shampoo and conditioner purple shampoo oils, hair masks, um my leave-in Conditioner, i will have it all linked down below in my amazon link. I have it all there for you guys in one spot, so it's super easy and convenient so definitely go and make sure you check out my description box. So you can go get those products. Lisa Reddoch: I literally watched your old video just last night and braided my hair and thought : I wish she would do another one explaining better and in good lighting ". Thank you!!

Lila T: Girl I loved your old video, I've been doing the 2 french braids curl/waves since summer of 2019 and it has SAVED MY HAIR, I used to use heat etc to my already bleached and fragile hair, but my hair is super duper thick, you are the first youtuber I've seen that has hair similar to mine! (Except yours is nicer and longer, so I can't wait to see what the braid curls will look like as my hair gets longer!) Also, i'm commenting before I've even watched the whole video, just wanted to let you know, your old video was so excellent, and I'm excited to see this updated version!! You rock!

zaray: i know she likes the way her hair looks and there's nothing wrong with it bc it's her hair but if you guys think it's missing something just shake your head around or dig ur fingers into ur roots and shake it up a bit all around. the results in this tutorial look stiff and doll like but you'll still have ur beachy waves if you shake it up a bit

SabsSyllo sabrena: So glad you have a paddle brush but to detangle faster with it put it horizontal to your head so the handle should be pointed down to the floor if you notice the bristles align in a straight row. If you want tension during blow drying put the paddle vertically to the head the bristles this way aren’t aligned and grab the hair.
