What'S up guys welcome back to my channel today we're doing a hair video, because recently I've been doing a lot more hair videos just because I've bleached and iron, my hair so many times like it's, I'm scared for my hair right now, but basically today's video is Trying out different heatless overnight curling methods to see which one is the best, because, as you know, I have damaged my hair a lot. So I really wanted to find some ways that I can do my hair without having to damage it. So I hope you guys enjoy the video. I have a favorite method now, so this video actually helped me a lot to figure out which one I'm actually gon na be doing so so the first thing that we're gon na try out is this bath. Rope, hair, curling method. When I saw this, I was so confused on how the hell they called their hair with a bathrobe, but I got it down. I'M probably gon na do a voiceover for this, because I don't know if I can explain this well, you basically just put it on your head and then you grab a strand of hair and then you start twisting it with the bathrobe and every time you twist It you pick up more hair when you finish doing that you have to like twist your hair around put it in a bun. I really can't explain that, but also I'll link videos. It'S like explanations for all these things in the bottom, because this is not a hair tutorials. This is more like what has worked for me in general. This is quite comfortable right now. I look insane, though I feel like to have this like a very nicely balanced needs Huff longer hair is for me like with my short hair goodnight, see you tomorrow we will pray for good hair, so I want to take a quick moment to say thank you To function of beauty for sponsoring this video with function of beauty's customizable range, you can take care of your hair, these stress and pumper yourself all at the same time, the products are delivered straight to your door, which means you never have to leave the house, which Is perfect for me, I, like literally I'm scared of leaving my house right now. All you have to do is head over to their website and fill out two minute quiz about your hair types, your hair goals and different preferences of yours. You can literally choose the color the fragrance and your name is also printed on the bottle. So it's like fully fully fully the definition of personalized there's, no parabens, no sulfates, no GMOs or toxins, it's 100 %, vegan and cruelty-free. So for my hair goals, I chose hydrate, read: planas hair, strengthen deep condition and color protection, because you know I bleached my hair many times. So I wanted to make sure it's feeling healthier and I also wanted to color protection because I dyed my hair brown on top of the bleach. So I wanted to make sure it like looks good and healthy. You know for my shampoo, I chose purple and for my conditioner I chose blue for my name. I wrote lengths, I could have written Anna, but Anna just felt wrong. I feel like just forever lengths on the channel and my fragrance was nude peach and let me tell you, it is really the best smelling thing you will ever smell, it's so beautiful. It'S so like fresh and I don't know. Functional Beauty also offers other haircare product. So leave-in treatments, hair, serums, hair masks all of those type of things. I chose a hair mask because my hair, as I said, is extremely damaged, so functional Beauty offers a subscription service. So if you want these delivered to your door every month, every two months, every three or six months, there are options on their website, so you can like choose your own subscription and if you'd, like 20 % off your first order, make sure to click the link In my description and you will get a little discount on your first order, so highly recommend and once again let me just mention the scent scent fragrance fragrance anyway. I just woke up and I won't buy it. It was really uncomfortable in the beginning, but then I had like a specific way. I was sleeping so if I wanted to sleep on the side, I would like sleep on my hand, and it would like push this in and somehow it turned out to be quite comfortable in general. Honestly, I slept quite comfortably like I didn't - have much troubles falling asleep, but in the morning when I was like kind of moving around like it felt like it was pulling up my hair okay, I have no idea how I feel about that honestly. This is the first hairstyle I'm doing, but I feel like this is the best one for people with long hair. Well, my hair is definitely curly, but I don't know if this is my favorite thing. I'M gon na rate it out of 5 stars for 4 categories. So the first category is curl the curl. I would honestly give like a 2 out of 5, it's kind of cute in the front, maybe for a second, but it doesn't look like. I did this on purpose. Timewise, I'm gon na give it 5 out of 5 because it doesn't take 10 minutes her hair. It takes like 30 minutes or more to curl hair. So the fact that this took ten minutes, I'm like s of five. The next thing is difficulty of the hairstyle, but I'm gon na call it like the easiness, because if I say difficulty, then the points don't really work. The easiness for me was like four out of five because it was so easy to do and then the last thing is the comfort so like. When I go to sleep, how comfortable it is to go to sleep with the hairstyle. I would give that like a three because it wasn't too bad, but it was definitely restrictive, like I couldn't move my head, but it didn't like pull on my hair, so in total this hairstyle gets 14 out of 20, so this gets 70 %. So it's actually in the morning right now, but today I really wanted to wear Dutch braids throughout the day and I just thought instead of doing it at night and just taking out in the morning. I can do it in the morning and then take it out at night because it'll be like the same amount, but I basically just did Dutch braids on my head. For those who don't know the difference. Dutch braids and my opinion are much better than French braids for curls. Dutch braids are the ones that like stick out and French braids are the ones that going. I cannot really explain it, but I'll like insert pictures when I had long hair. I would literally wear Dutch braids like all the time, but it's currently 8 a.m. so later tonight, maybe at like 8 p.m. I'll check in and I'll take my braids out. So it's been about 12 hours now and my hair has been in braids all day. So freaking comfortable, I really don't know if there's gon na be that many curls, because I feel like when you sleep on it. It'S somehow different, even though I don't really know how it would be different. I haven't used this method for curls in such a long time in general, this is a little bit less curly than the first curl, but the thing I liked with this one is this is so much more like, even like all of my hair has, like the Same level of curl, even though it's not like insanely curly, it's like little waves everywhere. You know, and I think this looks really natural, like kind of like beach waves. By the way, I have a mirror right here. That'S why I'm looking this way, but the first thing I'm looking at is the curl or the curl. I think I'm gon na give it like a 3 out of 5. It'S not really curly, it doesn't feel like. Oh my god. This is like such an amazing hair, curling method, but it gives really nice like natural waves, which I appreciate next category as the time for time. I think it took me 15 to 20 min, so I'm gon na give that, like a three out of front now, I'm gon na give it a two out of five just because it takes a while and it's really easy to mess up and when you mess Up you have to do it over and your hands hurt and it's just it can take a while for easiness. I would honestly give it two out of five as well, because to me I've been braiding hair. All my childhood so to me like this is quite easy, but the thing is, first of all, it hurts your arms, like your arms, being like this for 20 minutes, it hurts at least a hurts me, because I have absolutely no athletic skill and, from my experience I'Ve had a lot of cases where I would start braiding and then I would have to basically start over just because one piece would like not pick up as well. That doesn't really make sense, but I don't think this is the easiest one out there, but the last category is comfort. I would give this a 5 out of 5 for comfort. I honestly think this is the most comfortable thing ever. I would honestly do this hairstyle not even to curl my hair, but just to keep my hair out of my face and comfortable. So in total this gets 12 out of 20, which is 60 percent. Honestly, I didn't expect it to get lower than the first one, but I guess it's not. The best curling method is just really comfortable okay, so I actually didn't record any audio for this hairstyle because um I was like half asleep when I was doing it, but this hairstyle is really really similar to the first one. It has the same method, except instead of using the bathrobe belt you're using another string of your hair, so you're just twisting both strands of hair, while also picking up more hair and then once you get to the bottom, I swear to god. You 100 % have to watch a video on this, but you have to twist your hair in the opposite side and then twist it again in the opposite side. I don't know how to explain it, but this just prevents it from untwisting, while you're sleeping. So I would say good morning, but it's almost 1:00 p.m. right now. I don't know what happened over here anyway. I feel like this hairstyle might have the nicest curls so far still a little frizzy looking, but I guess, with an overnight curling method, you're gon na get that anyway. So honestly, I feel like this could be some of the nicest curls. So far, honestly, I feel like these are the nicest curls so far so for curl. I would honestly give this like a 4 out of 5. I don't know if any hairstyle is gon na get a 5 out of 5 curl for me, because a 5 out of 5 curl is like something I would pay money for, and this is cute, but I don't know if I would pay money for someone to Do this, this is the most like curliest curl, that we've seen so far timewise I'm gon na give this a 4 out of 5, because this took around the same time as the first hairstyle and the first hair cell, like the bathrobe one, I gave a 5 Out of 5, but it was a little bit longer and it was a little bit different because you just do it with your own hair so like sometimes you have to redo it for easiness, I'm gon na give a 3 out of 5 because it was really Easy to do like it was like the same you do with the bathrobe, except instead of the bathrobe. You just have more hair, but the thing is when you get to the bottom, like I had short hair. So it doesn't really matter as much for me, but if you have really long hair, you can't just twist it like this, because it's just gon na untwist it's like kind of confusing, because you have to like twist one way twist this the same way and then Twist them the opposite ways like it's really confusing. You should probably watch the tutorial for comfort. It'S gon na get a 5 out of 5. This was so comfortable. Almost like. I was like you know what there's no way that anything is more comfortable than the Dutch braids that I did last time that I honestly think this is more comfortable than Dutch braids, so this got 16 out of 20, which i think is 80 % today we Are doing our fourth hairstyle and I have not been looking forward to this one, because I know this one takes a while we are gon na be doing this. I really don't know what this is called. I will look it up and like put it somewhere here. The thing is this might take 40 minutes, but these will probably have the tightest curls yet also I just washed my hair and I put in this product that I've never put in before. So I don't know why I decided to experiment today, but apparently it's supposed to give me volume right now. I kind of just look like a malt. Maybe this is a bad decision anyway, I'm gon na start with this, I'm so afraid. Ah, my scalp is in pain. This no joke took 40 to 45 minutes, I'm not 100 %. Sure. If I do this, it pulls on my baby hairs so bad. I am so excited to sleep. So I just woke up recently and oh, my god. Yesterday was the worst sleep I have gotten and no joke three months, so painful all night. I woke up like five times at least and I'm honestly like no matter how good the curl is. I already know like it's not worth it. Oh, my god wait. I need a minute to sort this out because I don't know this is so uneven and oh so I'm just gon na give this a zero on all fronts. I literally I just I want to go wash. My hair did all the five hairstyles and, as a conclusion, the one that happened. Most points was the third one, so the one where I kind of twisted my hair with my own hair and honestly to me that makes so much sense. I fully agree like out of the five of them that hairstyle had the best curls. First of all, it was the most comfortable one and honestly, in my opinion, like those curls, could even be better than curling your hair with a curler. So I think they could look a little bit nicer if you have long hair, so I'm definitely gon na be using that method a lot until my hair grows just to let it be a little bit healthier and you know recuperate. This video was a really fun experiment and I don't usually do like little challenges. I mean I really know if this was a challenge but much love. Thank you guys for watching, and I will see you guys in my next video

anna lenks: btw if anyone wants to join my discord <3 https://discord.gg/pxSeayC

Renzy: I feel like everyone that has straight hair wants it to be curly and everyone that has curly hair wants it to be straight

A: if anyone is wondering the 3rd style is called flat twists :)

Alaina Natale: For the last method, you’re meant to brush them out after you take them out

Fran Bo: Her accent is confusing the hell outta me lol, It’s like a mix of Scottish+British+American accents

Nicole Margot: I literally have the curliest hair around and yet I still clicked onto this because I’ve been loving your videos that much haha (edit: i was speaking hyperbolically. i obvs don’t have the curliest hair around, please stop attacking me in the comment thread! It’s super upsetting, was just tryna show the video some love)

geetika: *cries in naturally curly hair* honestly, I wish I had straight/wavy hair because it is way easier to manage and you can style it easily but i guess we all want what we don't have :\

Andrezenou: It’s super inspiring seeing someone with a somewhat similar heritage (I was born in Ukraine, raised in Vietnam and now living in the Netherlands) striving to be the best version of themselves, living Your best lifeThank you for being you Anna✨ I know it doesn’t really relate to your hair but I thought I’d say hi and that I appreciate all the content you put out!

Charlotte🤍: I've tried various amounts of times to learn how to french braid my hair or anything other than a normal braid thingy and each time I just get annoyed and cant do it anyone else

S S: BTW for the twist braid! When I had long hair, Id twist it until near the bottom of my hair, and then split the two ropes into three and braid it like normal. It gives the sams result and stays all night/day.

larkholland: I appreciate that she tried these methods with shorter hair because most tutorials on YT are for long hair.

Itsangelhere: I’ve been using the third method for about 3-4 years all the time and it’s really comfortable, not as hard to do as Dutch braids and does give some nice curls!

Liquid Unknown: As someone with naturally curly hair my techniques are sleeping without anything, and everyday I get a new pattern

Anna: I love this concept! I would definitely like more videos like this :D Keep up the great work ;) Also, if you try to keep the twists in the middle of the head and not near the front, it should be more even ;) And most of these techniques look best in a half up half down, just because the back isn't as curled :)

Rylee G.: For those of you wondering dtch braids add a lot more volume, and french add a little but not a ton. Also it works SOOO much better if you have wet or damp hair.

Valee Quintana: I have long hair and I’m definitely trying the third method, although I’m more into looser wavy hair... I’ve been sleeping in braids since forever now

Bailey: for the last method (the curling rod one), you need to part the curls (Idk how to explain it) and that's why it looks so bad. But if you did, the curls would definitely be the tightest and have the most volume out of all the other methods.

yeah hi: I’ve been curling my hair using the 3rd method for years when I still had long hair but I cut my hair shorter so I needed a different way to curl. Your hair looked so nice in the thumbnail so that’s why I clicked on this video, but it seems like I can’t escape the hair twist method!

Meh: I always did these a night before during middle schools times because I never had a curler. I still do it! (P.S) Best to do with damp/slightly wet hair!

Gina Sherif: I just wanted to thank you soo much this video helped me alot ... Well my hair was soo heat damaged and i decided to cut it then i was soo confused how to do my hair at night or after the shower i kept searching and i found ur vid i used the twist method for a year now and thanks to u my hair is back to normal and it's shiny and smooth not frizzy at all soo all i want to say thank u♥️

khadija jane: This is so satisfying to watch even if ur not interested in curling ur hair, like the way u explain and go through each method is so good.... Absolutely love ur videos ❤️

n a t a l i e: Wait I wear my Dutch braids for about 6 or 7 hours in a day, and it leaves my hair so wavy- that’s weird, bc it looks like we have very similar hair types. Also the last method, the curling rods, I use them pretty often, but I always put it into a low or mid ponytail so you can see the curls, but not the weird reverse curls :)

Gamer Named Darvit: I LOVE your dutch braids! Q.Q I don't even know how you can do them on your own head! I can do the braids but only on other people. IDK why but I have SO much trouble getting my hair to stay long enough to get the hair braided. My arms feel like they're gonna pop off at the shoulders hahaha! Thank you for putting this video together and especially for showing & explaining how exactly to do the bottom part of the "twist out" using just your hair & 2 hair ties at the bottom. :)

Orla Fennelly: The last method used to work so good for me when I was a kid my mam would do it for me. The curls would be so intense but then drop after a while. Everyone’s different tho and I don’t have the skill for Dutch braids at all lol.

chanelle k: omg thank you for this!! ive literally been searching for years and this makes it so much easier to compare! <33

a: I'm literally watching this with socks in my hair haha

Rady Ivanov: I'm so so so happy when you upload! And your editing... oh my goodness, it's so good!!! Love your work! Stay safe and healthy! ❤️❤️❤️

claire isabel: Your hair is so pretty!! Need to try the bathrobe method I’ve been seeing that everywhere

Areee Ash: Theres another way which is my absolute favorite and it is to divide your hair into four sections and twist them into a bun and tie them. Although they aren't very comfortable to sleep in, the curls are soo good

zoieee: Thanks for trying all these methods!!! Is it just me or is it really satisfying to undo the braids and revealing the curls

Jessica: Hey gorgeous I love it Straight to the point and parting the video in the description Thank you It was really helpful

Family Stent: Just a tip for the French/Dutch braids if you wet/wash your hair before hand then the curls will stay in longer

Tia Spragg: Yeaaaaaah, the technique with the rollers wasn’t brilliant, you’re also not supposed to put them in as tight as you did, that’s why it hurt....with those kind of curls you usually brush them out for vintage hairstyles unless you’re using the larger ones for beach waves

Simply Deepika: This is really helpful, and i loved last one,, thank you ❤️

Sharon: ‘You should look up a titorial’ honey ive googled “method three” all day... lmao unfindable Update: i figured it out. If you have longer hair you might want to pin them up instead of leaving them hanging, vecause jesus christ did my neck hurt after sleeping on these braids. Since they got pretty hard and stiff because of the double turning.

Beatriz Marvão: Maybe you should try the last one again, but when you take the "little tubes" of, brush your hair normally, it will be awesome! And also you could not push your hair too hard when putting the tubes on. ❤

got no name: 5:50 I think the heat of your scalp would be a good factor in forming the heatless curls/waves.

Sahil Khan: Literally loving all your videos You have been my morning motivation ♥️♥️

Liv: you should try doing it with socks! four socks if you have a middle parting two on each side. It's like a 3/5 for comfort but depending on what way you twist they can look really real like you curled your hair with a curling wand. :)

Vicky_ D: For the third hair style, to avoid it untwisting just put it in a bun, it is a little bit uncomfortable to sleep it with it but it’s chill. The way I do it is to get the hair with the opposite hand (so if you want to put the left side in a bun you’re gonna use the right hand) and guide it to the back of my head and put it in a bun.

Cölõrañshi 🖌️🎨: I always use the 3rd one to curl my hairs . And yess i have long hairs and works like wonder ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Szonja -_-: I always use the last method to curl my hair, I'm looking for better methods (kinda longish/medium hair) and no wonder why I'm always tired, sleeping with that is like hell

QwertySub: May I ask what lights you are using for your room? Sometimes it's pink and sometimes it's a really good looking blue or purple (not sure). This was a interesting video about curling hair though, I'm still trying to figure out what works best for my kinky curly hair before I do any experiments with it.

:D: Omg i love your videos sm they’re so relatable and informative

channievlogs: Me having natural curly hair and still out here watching this video

Walynn Dent: If you keep Dutch braids in for a couple days it will be more curly it just depends how long you keep them in

Jamie Propro: The first one looks a lot better then you don’t twist the ends into a bun. I’ve always done this method and I love the results

Ana: The 4th one with the rods looks uneven at the beginning, but you have to let it dry completely before taking the rods out and after you take them out and they are fully dried you need to separate them and let them sit for about 10 minutes so you won't have that really shrieked curl anymore. Takes time but honestly, you put them in really good and even, these take a lot more time than the other ones but from time to time it's worth to use them I guess

sarah kim: i have pin straight hair and i’d literally be happy with the hair she has in the beginning like i want please thank u

Everless Longing: I subscribe you at 2.8k and now you have come a long way. Good job girl

Vanesa: I've used the hair rollers before and the trick is to use only 4. Part your hair in the middle all the way and then each part split in a top section and a bottom section and then put the rollers. I hope that helps

Lizzia Tamor: i did this and all my friends wanted to know how to do it

kethna.: ANNA TYSM THIS HONESTLY HELPED ME SO MUCH ♥️✨❤️

Fatna Maziane Warsiewicz: she looks so adorable with curls... like I was uwu throughout the whole video <3

Evie Kenny: Hi! I'm Evie a Irish secondary student I recently started watching you and i've fallen in love with your vids!!!!!! Staysafe

Lila T: I think if you had left the dutch braids in even longer, like all day and then overnight, and maybe had the sections a bit smaller and tighter, they definitely would have given you the best and tightest curls, it's one method I use often, but the only problem is I can't STAND the line in the back of my head (like the parting) and also, if you do them more towards your face, you won't have to have your arms up the whole time making you tired, I don't know how to explain it, but I'm sure there's a youtube video showing dutch braids without having to hold your arms up behind your head. =)

Sarah Levine: Damn your Dutch braids are so much more uniform than my rachet ones

Sofía Murillo: I love this channel, that’s it. ❤️

Ananya Dubey: I just wanna say this: YOU ARE SO PERFECT!!!!!!!

Aidyn Ball: Honestly I feel like this is the nicest curls so far

Shriya Kanade: omg gonna try this also love your editing girl!!

Caterina Ferreyra: This is the second video I watch and I probably will be watching all your videos this night. I want to learn to speak Russian this or next year, so knowing you talk this language is curious. Fun fact: we share the same zodiac sign Say hi to Argentina!

Sh_i: Sis, ok so I do 2 braids TIGHT and leave it in for about 5 or 6 hours and those puppies.... WILL BE GOLDEN. I refuse to use any heat product on my hair.

Taylor Malloy: I have a tip for the second one. Braid it when it's damp or wet. Then sleep with your hair wet or damp with the braids and then in the morning it will be way curlier.

jelly: you're supposed to brush the curls out for the last one... I've tried it before and it looked similar to that but I just brushed it out and put some product in it to define the curls and give volume and it turned out great!

Sweta Jayaswal: Honestly it just really depends on what look you're going for

Julz Alta: With the flexirods, you have to brush it out, like any rollers/pin curls wet set. Otherwise it always looks ridiculous.

veronica lopez: The forth method is using Flexi rods, and you need to brush your hair after using them

Elmar Daghbayli: Ay Anna is back with her vids, even though it's not daily it's hella good. Go Anna

Soumi Paul: Miss those study vids...and miss the motivation they gave..

farah: my hair cant seem to last any curls or hairstyle no matter what i do, it just stays damn straight

Grace Hanan: so excited for this video! you’re becoming the new brad mondo lmao!!

Merari Patino: My advice is to have damp hair before you style it for the next morning!

A: OMG how did you do Dutch braids so well!!! I have long hair but I have no clue how to do Dutch braids why is it so hardd

Keeva Oreilly: Wow kati and Anna posting on the same day feeling blessed

Epic Gamer: I now know how Ethel Muggs on riverdale got her hair the way she does. Hair curlers.

Maddy: i’m so trying that third method!!

Jess Madden: If you have damp hair beforehand then the curls are more defined for the Dutch braid especially.

-airymations-: :0 I have short hair and I’ve tried to curl my hair overnight because even tho I have straight, hair, I have a lot of it ;w; So I tried the method where you use the bathrobe thing(?) (but with dampening my hair) right now and GOD BLESS THE GODS- It actually looks like 2 buns :DD Sorry for overreacting but I’ll update the results :3

Ava: okay, I think that if you did the first one again but spray your hair with water like damp it then wrap your hair and leave it in for 15/20 mins it would totally look better

Grace Hanan: I can braid others hair quite well but I can’t braid my own hair AT ALL! any tips? ❤️

Hiba Errai: I think that if you use these methods when your hair is wet, the curls are going to turn out more nice.

Aakanksha Singh: 4th one was heilous!!

Birendra Bajracharya: I did the bathrob one and was so preety

Briann Hodge: After you take out the hair rollers you suppose to separate the curls..... anyway your editing for this video is just perfection

Helena Papps: Me: has super curly hair and hates it Also me: watches video on how to curl your hair

himawari hyuga MD: She is so much honest thats wht i love about her all love from Tunisia

saadet s.: In the fourth method, I think you’re supposed to brush your hair. Also, where did you get the sweatshirt that says “knowledge”?

Sarakshee B: My attya did a french braid ( only one french braid ) And it curled soo much it looked cute

Kelly C: unrelated to the video but as a linguistics student, your accent is super cool!! at first I thought you were just californian but then you sounded like someone who learned esl in ireland (which you don't hear often) then I read your bio and I was like !!!!!

Avery Ann: For the third it’s easier to braid the ends for longer hair

Emily Zakhary: Me:has curly hair Also me: searches how to get heatless curls because i dont like my curls Idk why but when ever i do anything with my hair it turns out puff my moms it is because i have thick hair but i know ppl with the same thickness of hair and their hair looks good so idk if u know what might help then feel free to reply

Manya Gagat: She looks so good with hairband. Lenks ✨❤

Alexander Bayle: Me: *have a curly hair* Also me: *searching how to curl hair heatless for my friend*

Lake: Lenka I have a suggestion :please upload things regarding study like study vlog or something like that plz . BTW love from India ❤️

Ahor V: Wow all the curly hairstyles suits you and you're so pretty

Brooke: girl, you're supposed to see rate your curls when you take them out of rollers and not put them in so tight

Ml Kdr: I love this video, you're really funny

Taylor Emani: I love your video. I think for the last one you were supposed to brush it out.

e: I was looking for something like this actually thank you
