Hey babes! Ever since I cut my hair short, I've been getting a ton of questions on how I style my hair and the best hairstyles for short hair. I wanted to make sure this video is helpful for all hair lengths though, not just short or medium hair like mine. So I hope you give one of these quick hairstyles a try! These are all really easy hair tutorials, I'm definitely no expert hahaha!

( upbeat music, ), Hey guys, it's Sierra. Welcome back to my channel and today I'm gon na be showing you 10 really quick and easy hairstyles and most of them are heatless.. Also it's like pouring rain right now.. I don't know if the mic is picking it up, but if you can hear the rain sorry about it. Enjoy it. I guess.. So ever since I changed my hair, I've been getting so many comments asking how I've been styling it any little tips and tricks for being new to short hair., And I did a poll on the community tab asking you guys. If you would wan na see a video on how I style my short hair. And there were a lot of yeses, but also a lot of people who were like well, I don't have short hair so ..., So, instead of just doing short, hair hairstyles, these hairstyles, Pretty much work for any hair type of length., But along the way, as I do each of these hairstyles I'll, also throw in any tips that you might need to know if you have short hair like me to achieve these styles., Like I said there are 10 Hairstyles in this video and every single one of them, except for the ones that takes heat, are like under 10 minutes to do.. I am by no means a hair expert., I'm just a girl who doesn't like to spend a lot of time getting ready in the morning, but wants to look cute. So hopefully this is helpful. ( mouse click ), So the first few heatless hairstyles are for. When I have my natural hair, just clean washed, no heat used, no products, in. And my hair naturally has a little bit of a curl to it. So it tends to get a bit frizzy., So the first hairstyle is just a little half-up bun and it takes about three minutes to do.. First thing I do is part my hair and gather up about the top third of my hair. I'd, say half up, but it's really like a third up.. Then I brush that back together and begin to pull it into a ponytail. But on the last loop I leave just a little bit of the hair in the elastic to create that tiny bun.. Then I separate the leftover hair from that ponytail into two sections and wrap them around the bun in opposite directions.. I secure the loose ends with a bobby pin, give it a little spray to keep the bun in place and that's it.. This has been one of my go-to hairstyles lately because it pulls the hair away from my face tames. Some of that poofiness that my natural hair has and comes together in this cute little quirky baby bun. ( mouse click ) To put a fun little spin on this updo hairstyle number two just tie a hair scarf around the bun.. It makes such a cute little bohemian touch and you can coordinate the scarf to match your outfit.. This is actually an ascot, not a hair, scarf it's from Madewell, but it works perfectly.. I also have a scrunchie with a bandana attached to it that works great. For this hairstyle - and this is actually even easier because I don't even have to secure the hair. - I just leave the ponytail as-is in the back to keep with that effortless boho look. ( mouse click ). Another hairstyle I love doing with my natural hair is just braiding and pulling back the front section of my hair on each side, and this one takes about eight minutes for me.. I start by sectioning off the front two pieces of my hair that I'm gon na wan na braid.. Then I actually put all of the hair - I'm not gon na, be using into an elastic to just keep it out of my way.. I French braid that first section of my hair and the key is keeping your arms raised at the angle that the braid is going to be pulled back in the end.. This way it will lay flat against your head when you're finished.. Once it's done, I tie the braid off with an elastic just to keep intact, while I braid the other side and when they're both done, I remove the elastic and use two bobby pins to secure each braid to the side of my head. I like to cross The bobby pins over each other like this, to make it really secure, so it stays all day. And that's it.. Personally, I like to leave a few little wisps of hair in the front to help frame my face. But if that's not your style, you can always just include those pieces in the braids. ( mouse click ) Hairstyle number. Four, these really cute twisted fishtail braids.. This one takes about 10 minutes.. It'S easiest to do this style on damp hair, so I'm just gon na start by spraying down my hair with some water and brushing it out.. Then I'm dividing my hair down the middle into two equal sections., So starting at the top, I'm twisting the hair, together away from my face and adding little pieces of the hair to the twist as I go.. This is basically like French braiding, but instead of a braid, I'm just twirling the hair, together into one big twist.. Once the twist reaches my hairline at my neck, I'm tying it off with a disposable elastic.. This is just temporary. We'Re gon na be cutting it off. Later. Now, with this little ponytail, I'm going to do a fishtail braid., So just taking the outside piece of one section and crossing it over to become the inside piece of the opposite. Section. I'm doing this over and over and over again until the pieces are too short to cross over any more and then I'm tying it off with an elastic. Last step, cut off the top elastic and pull apart the fishtail braid to make it look a little Less stiff. And that's it, the hairstyle, is all done.. I love how this looks like a more complicated hairstyle.. It looks like pretty intricate., But all you need to know how to do is twist your hair and do a fishtail braid.. It'S pretty easy. ( mouse click. ) Hairstyle number five.. This takes about five minutes. You're, just gon na twist your hair, the exact same way that you did for the previous hairstyle and tie it off with an elastic when you get to your hairline on your neck., But instead of continuing into that fishtail braid, just wear It like this for a more unique take on pigtails.. I love this look and on days when I'm running late and my hair is just lookin' terrible and I want it all tied back. This one is a lifesaver. (, mouse click ) Okay, so this hairstyle does actually use heat, but it's the only one in the video.. A lot of you guys have been asking how I curl my hair to get those loose beachy waves that I've been loving lately.. I pretty much style my hair, like this almost every day, so I'm gon na show you how I do it. It takes me about 30 minutes., So I'm big into sectioning.. I actually do 10 sections when I curl my hair. Five on each side, but I start with just two tying off one side into an elastic, and then I take the top three quarters of the side. I'M going to curl first and clip it out of the way., So I curl my hair with a straightener, and this has just been what works for me to get those soft waves.. So I start by straightening like normal at the root and then about a quarter of the way down. I start to rotate the straightener and wrap my hair around the iron., But I actually let go of the piece before I get to the end of each curl. To give it more of a beachy wave and less of a structured curl., I repeat this all over my head spraying, each section with some hairspray before moving on to the next. And to keep the hair from bunching together in one big curl, I curl some pieces Towards my face and some pieces away from my face., This helps the waves to look a little more piecey and less grouped together. And ta-da. Here is the finished. Product. Just got ta spray it with some texturizing spray to complete the look, and I just love these waves.. I feel like when I used to curl my hair. I didn't have the right technique and it would look way too curled if that makes sense, But these waves are perfect. ( mouse click, ) Hairstyle number seven.. If you wan na put a more boho spin on those waves. Try this one out.! It takes me about. Eight minutes not including the curls., So I start by taking a bandana and tying it around my hair, like a headband, but I'm leaving some hair in front of the bandana., I'm not pulling it all back., Then I add in some little tiny braids mixed in together With the curls., This hairstyle is meant to be messy and imperfect, so I like to mix it up and do some longer braids some shorter braids, some thicker, some teensy-tiny.. I just like to kind of eyeball it and see what looks good., There's no right or wrong. Number: no mistakes: just happy accidents.. We love Bob Ross Anyways. I finish it off with a lot of texturizing spray.. This helps give it that more messy thrown-together, look. And voila. We'Re done Honestly. I like this hairstyle more for summer.. This looks very Coachella to me., But I still found myself rocking it a few times even in December., ( mouse click, ) Number, eight another great spin on waves or curls., Add a high pony, half updo.. This takes one minute not including the curls, and it's a great way to pull some of that hair away from your face and add a little bit of sass.. I gather the top front section of my hair and I actually leave the back as it is just using the front. So the pony isn't too big ,'cause. I do have thick hair.. I tie it into a ponytail with an elastic right at the top of my head making sure it doesn't go too far back so I get that fun. Almost like'80s retro look. Super cute, very, very easy, and if you wan na make it like some extra flair, you can add a hairscarf or a bandana to the ponytail., Either way it's cute and definitely the easiest in this video. ( mouse click ) The last two Hairstyles are great for second-day hair, so, let's start with the pigtails., They only take about two minutes. First things: first, second-day hair needs to be revitalized. A little bit. I like to spray dry shampoo at the root and apply some hair oil to the ends of my hair.. Those ends are lookin', pretty thirsty from the heat styling yesterday.. They need a little bit of oil.. Then I just divide my hair into two equal sections put in some elastics and pull the hair out a bit to give it a more messy look.. And now you can't even tell that it's second-day hair. Super cute. ( mouse click ) Last hairstyle number 10.. This little ballet, bun and you'll be able to do this one, even if your hair is too short to all fit into a bun.. So I'm starting off by brushing all my hair into a high ponytail and I'm letting the bottom pieces that are too short. Just hang out on the bottom. We'll take care of them later.. Then I twist the ponytail and wrap it around itself to form this little round bun and securing it with an elastic and then tying those loose ends in with bobby pins.. Now, if your hair is too short to all fit into the bun like mine, take that little like baby mullet on the bottom and start braiding. It upwards. Secure it against the back of your head with a bobby pin or two, and not only does this take care of that extra hair, but it also adds a cute little touch to a typical bun. ( mouse click ). It’s just that as I was binge watching your videos, I noticed that most of the time it’s about empowering women with curves which I know is your channel is all about body positivity; I subscribed because of the positive vibes you have. However, my body type is what you would describe as athletic, not curvy, rectangle body. I don’t know about other girls that look like me, but I have lots of insecurities about my body . (i.e. lack of chest and butt, athletic figure, being too muscular, etc.) It would be super awesome if you made a video empowering all shapes and sizes because I feel like talking about the struggles of being curvy has become a major topic for YouTubers, but skinny girls talking about their insecurities is just girls screaming for attention. I don’t know if this made sense I kind of just threw up words in the comments; I just had something on my mind. CrazyAussiePagan: Hi sweetie. I was wondering how you would feel about doing reviews for shapewear from shops like Wish, Joom, AliExpress, Amazon, Ebay, Romwe,Shein and similar stores. Possibly a series of them one for each store? I ask this because after having lost 30kg in the last 12 months after gastric bypass surgery I feel the need to smooth out the extra skin a bit until I have the tummy tuck in July/August next year. Then I'll have to wear shapewear for at least 3 months after that surgery to support the area while I heal internally. I'm sure plenty of other women would love recommendations on shapewear bought online. By wearing one for at least a day you would be able to get a feel for the support and comfort of the piece. Items that are just tummy pants and ones that are full tummy and torso would be the best suggested pieces to review as some ladies would love to wear dresses that show their curves but the extra bumps on their body put them off wearing clothes with a little bit of shape to them. Just an idea. I do hope you will consider it.

I actually recently started dyeing it (more like tinting) my hair red with color depositing dyes. Its given me a change of pace, and granted me some less frizz.
