Hey girls, so I don't know about you, but I am so excited that it's finally summer, we all know that it's my favorite season and I'm going to show you two really awesome booking mean hairstyles that you could use on your natural hair texture. You don't have to use any heat for these hairstyles they're, really simple and easy to do so. This first hairstyle is actually way easier to do than you would probably think so. You'Re gon na gather all your hair to the side, and you want to put it in a clear elastic, nothing too big or bulky and then you're just going to split it into threes and just braid each of those sections. Once you have all three sections, braided you're, just gon na start pulling them out. You guys have seen me. Do this technique quite a bit. I guess it's called pancaking, which I never really heard that term until recently, but it just makes it a little bit more messy and less perfect, which I prefer I feel like. It looks like you didn't, try it quite as hard, and it gives it more of a bohemian vibe, which i think is really pretty all right. So now, for the fun part, once you have everything braided you're, just gon na braid, those three braids together. But when you do this, you want to make sure you keep the braids flat, and this is gon na. Give that wide kind of woven texture, which is really cool so once you have that just go ahead and rubberband that off and then take the elastics out from the mini braids and it's going to make it look a lot cleaner. Now make sure you pull more pieces out, you want to make this look messy and fun, and I noticed that I had a couple pieces that were more pulled out than others, so I just kind of wanted to make it more, even and just a little bit More messy, so once you have that you are pretty much finished, but you can do pretty much anything to this. You can add a flower which i think is really cute or you could do a kind of flower crown. If you wanted. You could add a hat. A fedora or a beanie, you could pretty much do anything with this hairstyle, which is what makes it so fun. I think so. For my outfit I said: keep it really bohemian I'm wearing this white lace dress from H & M and I put a turquoise necklace with it, because I love turquoise and white together. I think it's a great combination and then my con yak boots from Steve Madden. All right for the next style we're gon na take our hair down again, you can use your natural hair texture, it doesn't have to be perfect. It'S supposed to look really kind of undone and romantic. So go ahead and part your hair down the middle. I use the end of a bobby pin if I can't find a comb. It works really well and then you're just going to take these side pieces right above your ear and you're just gon na braid them both make sure you kind of lift the hair up. While you're braiding, otherwise it will kind of pucker a little bit when you pull it back all right now that you're done with that you're just going to start pancaking the braids again and just kind of make them messy and crazy. If you have really thick hair, you don't necessarily have to do this step, but I find with my thin hair. This is really crucial because you can't really hide the rubber bands under really thin braids. So that's just thinking it a little bit thicker so they're. Not so tiny and then to finish off this look, I'm just wrapping the braids around the back of my head. I'M pinning the first one to my scalp and then I'm wrapping the second braid over the top of the tail and the rubber band, and this is just to hide it. You kind of have to play with this and keep pinning and tucking. It'S actually a lot easier than it looks, so you just want to make sure all the little pieces are tucked in and pinned down, and that is the final look for this braided hairstyle. It'S really fun, really bohemian and perfect for just those really casual summer days. For this outfit, I decided to go with a pair of just cutoff shorts and a t-shirt just really really simple. This is kind of like my go-to outfit on casual lazy days. I got the shirt at forever 21 and I thrifted the shorts. Thank you guys. So much for watching don't forget to thumbs up this video. If you enjoyed it and don't forget to subscribe on your way out, I hope you guys have an amazing summer and stay tuned for more. You

Midlife Maniacal Mayhem: esthetics is just skin care. cosmetology is hair, nails, and skin. estheticians go more in depth with skin care than they go into in cosmetology.

Annie: How did you lose all the baby weight after you had Alaina? Your stomach looks fab! :O

Carah Amelie: thanks for the input! I will try to stay away from that filter

BeekoKat [Marcia]: Is there a difference between a licensed cosmetologist and a licensed esthetician‎?

Mykki: I wish my hair was long enough to do the first hairstyle.
