Hello my loves and happy hump day! I honestly can't believe that it's FINALLY starting to feel like Spring in Toronto! Toronto has been teasing the locals for the past few weeks...it was snowing as recently as a few days ago haha! Neverthless, I'm celebrating the warmer temps with some Spring-inspired braided ponytails that can also be created without heat, so I really hope you try them out! Please let me know what you think about this video in the comments below - and please be mindful and respectful of the work I put into my videos! Thank you and much love! Xx

Ah, can you just smell the spring in the air, hello, my love's, hello, my love's, and welcome back to my channel? It'S seriously so beautiful outside it's finally starting to warm up, and I couldn't be more excited. Nothing makes me happier or more inspired to create hairstyle than this time of year. My brain in the winter is like, while my brain in the summer is like so in the spirit of the new season. I wanted to show you guys some beautiful braided, ponytail hairstyles. They can be dressed up or down and look great on everybody and do not be mistaken. These are not your basic whip, your hair back into a ponytail hairstyles. No, these braided ponytail hairstyles will take your ponytail style game to the next level and make you look like a ponytail wizard with very minimal effort. So if you guys want to see my beautiful braided ponytail hairstyles, please keep watching. So before I begin, I want to mention that I did clip in my 240 grams set of fancy hair extensions to give my hair some extra length and volume, but most of these hairstyles can be recreated on most hair lengths. Another thing I really love about these braided heatless hairstyles is that they can be recreated on pretty much any hair texture. They look great on straight hair, on wavy hair, on curly hair, so they're really versatile and I encourage you to try them out so for the first braided ponytail hairstyle, all I'm doing is taking a chunk of hair from the top and center of one side. Of my head and I'm braiding this section of hair into a regular three strand braid. I also left out some face framing pieces in the front to make this hairstyle look a little bit more relaxed in bohemian and then I'm going to go ahead and create the exact same braid on the other side. So once you have your to break just gather the braids and all the remaining loose hair at the nape of your neck and tie together with a small hair elastic. So normally, when I create this hairstyle, I remove the small elastics that are holding each individual braid together, but, as you can see, I completely forgot to do that. Nevertheless, this is still one of my favorite braided ponytail hairstyles. So this next hairstyle is basically a variation on the first one, so I'm picking up again a chunk of hair from the top and middle of one side of my head and I'm braiding that section of hair into a broke braid so to braid this rope. Braid. All I'm doing is separating the working section into two and then I'm twisting both individual strands towards my face and then I'm wrapping them around each other away. From my face, and once I braided one of the braids, I'm going ahead and braiding the exact same thing on the other side, when I have my two braids, I'm just gathering both braids at the back of my head with all of the remaining loose hair, and I'M tying it at the nape of my neck with a small hair elastic, and this time I remember to remove these small hair elastics that are holding each individual braid together and then what I like to do is just unravel them so that they blend in with The rest of the ponytail, so this is another one of my favorite go-to braided ponytail hairstyles. It literally takes a couple minutes to do and it looks absolutely beautiful. So all I'm doing is just gathering my hair at the nape of my neck into a low ponytail, and then I'm picking up a chunk of hair from the underside of this ponytail and embracing it into a regular three strand, braid and once I've done that. I'M taking the braid and I'm wrapping it around the base of the ponytail a couple times to cover up the hair elastic and then I'm taking a chunk of hair from the underside of the ponytail and I'm combining it with the ends of the braid and tying Them together with a small hair elastic, so what this is going to do is secure the braids in place, so it doesn't move around, and I personally find that this holds so much better than a couple of bobby pins. You can also recreate the same look using a rope braid so again to create this rope. Braid I'm taking a chunk of hair from the underside of my ponytail and I'm splitting it into two sections. Then I'm taking the two strands and I'm twisting them individually in one direction and wrapping them around each other in the opposite direction. And once I have my braid and just repeating the exact same step by wrapping it around the base of the ponytail a couple of times and then picking up a chunk of hair from the underside of the ponytail and tying it together with the ends of the Braid, so this NYX hair cell that I'm going to show you I used to wear so much a couple years ago and I used to get so many compliments on it, just a tip. If you want to create this hairstyle, it does look better on straight hair and in a moment I'll show you why. So all I'm doing is gathering my hair to one side and then tying it into a low ponytail. Then I'm picking up a chunk of hair from the top of the ponytail and I'm separating it into three strands. So, with these three strands, I'm beginning to braid, just a regular three strand, braid and then you'll notice that every time I cross the strand that is on the right, I combine a small strand of hair from the back of the ponytail into that section. So, essentially, I'm creating a one-sided French braid. The key with this hairstyle is that every time you combine a section of hair from the back of the ponytail into the braid itself, you want to make sure that you're using small strands, because, if you're going to be using chunky strands, it's going to be very Hard to see the actual workmanship, and basically you want to make it look like your ponytail - is kind of caged in behind this braid. So if you use chunky strands, you won't be able to get that effect. But if you use small strands like this, that's the effect that you're going to get and if you're working on straight hair, these strands are going to pop, even more so feel free to braid as far down as you want, and then, when you're done just secure. The braid and place with a small hair elastic you can also recreate the same hairstyle with a rope braid, so you can do a one-sided, French rope right. So, every time you wrap these strands around each other, you can just combine a section of hair from the back of the ponytail into the braid. So this next one is the same idea as the first caged braided hair style that I showed you so I'm just taking a chunk of hair from the top of the ponytail and separating it into three sections, and instead of combining a small strand of hair from The back of the ponytail into one side of the braid, I'm going to be combining a small strand from the back of the ponytail into both sides of the braid. So this is going to make it look like. The ponytail is caged-in from all sides and it's going to give it a more different look and again, you can use the exact same technique with a rope braid. I love the effect of this one. Okay, so now for something a little bit different, I'm picking up a larger chunk of hair from the front of the ponytail and separating it into three sections and braiding, a Dutch braid, so to braid a Dutch braid. You simply want to braid a regular three strand. Braid, but instead of crossing the side strands over the middle strand, you want to cross the side strands under the middle strand. So I'm just going to rip the I can't speak, I'm just crossing the strands under the middle strand until I get all the way to the ends of the strands that I'm working with and then I'm going to tie the braid together with a small hair elastic Once I've done that, I'm just going in with my fingers and gently pulling out these sides of the braid just to fluff it out and give it a more bohemian and relaxed look. Then I'm going to take the ponytail, combine the braid with the loose hair and then tie a small hair elastic a couple inches down from the base of the ponytail and then pull out the sections of the loose hair to make a bubble effect. I'M going to repeat these steps, one more time, a couple inches below the last hair elastic and then you have yourself this beautiful bubble, braided ponytail! So this next heatless braided ponytail hairstyle, is super easy. But it's such a classic. Look that I really wanted to show you guys it's one of my favorites, so all I'm doing is gathering all my loose hair in the back of my head and then tying it together with a small hair elastic. Then I'm picking up a small strand from the underside of my ponytail and I'm wrapping it around the base of the ponytail a couple of times to hide the hair elastic and then I'm tying it together with a small strand of hair from the underside of my Ponytail to secure it in place now, all I'm doing is taking my ponytail and separating it into three strands and I'm braiding a regular three strand, braid and braiding it fairly loosely because I wanted to look relaxed and then not braiding all the way to the ends. I want to make sure that there's a couple inches of loose hair at the ends to give it a more bohemian look. So once i've tied the braid in place and just gently pulling out on the side, sections of the braid to fluff it out even more and then I'm taking a small strand of hair from the little ponytail, that's leftover and I'm wrapping it around the base of That little ponytail that I created and I'm just repeating the same steps by securing it in place, wrapping it around the base of that little elastic to cover it up and securing it to the back of the ponytail with a strand of hair. And please excuse me for not facing the camera for this one. I don't know what I was thinking, but obviously it was in my own little world and completely forgot to face the camera for this. So my apologies - and I hope you forgive me - and I also wanted to show you guys - that you can create the exact same type of hairstyle using a rope braid. Of course you guys know that this is my favorite way of braiding, my hair by now. Well, hopefully, and lastly, if you guys have a little bit more time on your hands and you love the look of fishtail braids like I do, you can also create this same type of hairstyle, with a fishtail braid, so to create a fishtail braid. You simply want to separate the working section into two big sections, and then you want to take a small strand from the outside of one of the sections cross it over that section and combine it with the opposite section and then you're just going to go ahead And repeat these steps on both sides, alternating sides again and again until you get to your desired end point so again, I like to braid about midway down the strands that I'm working with. So I have a couple inches of loose hair left out at the bottom and then I'm going to tie this fishtail braid with a small hair elastic and pull out on the sides of the braid to fluff it out. And then I'm going to hide these small hair elastic at the ends with a strand of hair. So this is one of my go-to hairstyles when I want the look of a braid, but I'm just too lazy to actually braid a braid. So all I'm doing is gathering all my hair into a low ponytail, and then I created an opening above the base of that ponytail, and I pulled my ponytail through that opening and out through the back, and I'm just pulling out the side sections of this twist. That I created to make it looser and make it look more like a twisted braid. So once I've done that to my liking, I'm just taking another small hair elastic and I'm tying it a couple inches below the first hair elastic and creating another opening in between this section and then in pulling the ends of the ponytail in the opposite direction. So the back and out through the front - and this is going to create a twisted effect in the opposite direction of the first twist that we created and then I'm just going to go ahead and pull out on the side. Sections of the twist to balance out the fluffiness at the top. This is another faux braided ponytail hairstyle, that I absolutely love and it's super easy to do and last such a long time, because it's held together by small hair elastics. So what I do is gather all of my hair to one side and I tie it into a loose ponytail at the nape of my neck. Then I take two strands from the back of the ponytail and I bring them to the front of the ponytail and then tie them together with a small hair elastic. Then I take that little ponytail that we created and I pull it over and under to create a twisted effect. And then I just pull it up a little bit to tighten it and I'm going to repeat the step again and again to go as far down as I want down the length of the ponytail and that's pretty much. It super easy super quick and it looks so beautiful and intricate. This is another faux braided ponytail hairstyle that I wanted to show you guys. So what I like to do is take a chunk of hair from the front of the ponytail, and I tie it with another small hair elastic a couple inches below the first one, and I create an opening in between the section and I pull the ponytail through The opening, through the front and out the back and then I pull out on the side sections of the twist to fluff it out. Then I take two sections from the back of the ponytail and I combined it with the loose hair of the ponytail in the front, and I tie all of this hair together with a small hair elastic. And then I create another opening in the middle of the section that we created and I pull the loose ends of the ponytail through that opening through the front and out the back and again, I'm just going to pull out on the side. Sections of the twist to fluff it out and match the fluffiness of the twist on the top. So I'm going to repeat this step, one more time to create a triple French twisted, faux braided ponytail. I don't know what this braided look is called, but this is what you're going to end up with, and I absolutely love it oof. Do your hands hurt from just watching this because my hands definitely hurt. So this is the last braided hairstyle that I wanted to show you in this tutorial, and this is another faux braided ponytail look. So all I'm doing is taking two small strands of hair from the back of my ponytail and then bringing them to the front of the ponytail and then tying them together and then taking a small hair elastic and tying the ends together right under the first knot And this is going to create a faux knotted effect. It'S really beautiful and all I'm doing is just fluffing out the front section of the knot to make it look more cohesive, you'll, see that once I start adding in the knots this is going to make everything. Look more blended, and all I'm doing is just repeating this step again and again. Until I get down to about the middle of the section of hair that I'm working with or the mid of the ponytail, you can go as far down as you want. I just personally like the look of some loose strands of hair hanging out from the bottom around I darling, so that wraps up today's tutorial. I really hope you enjoyed it and learned something new and found plenty of inspiration for the new season ahead.
