Hi everyone! So I’ve been getting a ton of requests on how I do my braided hairstyles or if I can do an updated video on all my braided hairstyles and thought, why not? These are not all of the summer hairstyles I do, but these are the braided hairstyles that I do the most. If there’s a hairstyle that I didn’t include in this video, please let me know and I can make another of these videos! I absolutely love braiding my hair into all types of bohemian braid hairstyles - I just think it’s an easy way to keep your hair out of your face while making you look a little bit more put together. These are super easy to do with just a bit of practice and totally heatless! l hope you enjoy this updated braided hairstyles for the summer video, and as always, leave me a comment with any questions you might have. Until next time! ✖✖ Audrie

// ABOUT ME //

A little bit about me - I'm a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90's grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I'd probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge, since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I'm not sure if that is true, but since I've moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.

Thank you so much for stopping by my YouTube channel and I hope that you enjoy what you'll find here! I love fashion, beauty (especially hair styling and bohemian braids), DIY projects and how to videos, making travel diaries of all the places that I'm lucky enough to visit, and sharing my (for lack of a better term) "modern bohemian" lifestyle. If you'd like to see more, please feel free to subscribe to my channel. Hope to see you in the comments below!

With love,

Audrie

Hey everyone Audrey, so I've been getting a ton of requests on how I do the brace that I usually have in my Instagram photos in YouTube videos lately. So I thought that I would make a really quick video on that. I do have a couple of great videos already on my channel, but none where I'm really talking you through the breaks very much. So that's what I'm going to do this time, I think rides, are perfect for any time really, but especially during the summer time or if you're going on vacation, because you don't really need to bring any extra hot tools with you and you're not putting feet on Your hair, which I don't really like to do something let's just get into the video, so this first hairstyle is just a really simple Dutch braid and I like to start off all these hairstyles with detangled second day. Here I have my hair parted in the middle, but you can do whatever you'd like and taking a small section along the side of my head I'll, just Dutch braid that section all the way to the end. If you don't know how to Dutch braid, it's actually really simple. If you already know how to do a standard braid and as you can see here, all that's different is that you're crossing each piece underneath the middle one to create that braid? That'S finished I'll, just secure that with an elastic, and I always like to loosen my braids a little bit just to make them look a little bit fuller, but you don't have to do that if you don't want to - and this is the finished look I'd like To leave it like this, but if you want to make this hairstyle a little bit more, even on the other side, all you need to do is wrap that braid around the back of your head and secure it with some bobby pins. Then I take an identical section on the opposite side of my head and Dutch braid it just like. I did on that first side. I secure that with an elastic once I'm finished loosing my braids a little bit and then I'll wrap it around my head to meet the other braid tucking in the ends with more bobby pins and adjusting everything so that the elastic and pins don't show just like This so for this next hairstyle, I'm going to start with detangle hair once again and I'm going to create a deep side part just because I'm going to braid on just one side of my head I'll, take two small sections kind of in the middle and then I'Ll just kind of start twisting them towards the front of my face once that's finished I'll twist them together, but this time away from my face and I'll twist that all the way to the end and secure with an elastic and I'm going to take two pieces. Underneath that braid and do the exact same thing twisting towards my face and then twisting them together away from my face, I'm going to twist it all the way to the end and then secure it with an elastic and then once I have those two pieces, I'm Going to wrap them around my head and I'm going to kind of chunky and underneath my hair and then secure them with bobby pins. So you can't see the end. So it should look something like this and then for the last part of this hairstyle. All I'm going to do is Dutch braid, a small piece towards the front of my head and secure with an elastic once I'm finished, wrap it around and pin it until it looks like this, so this braided bun hairstyle is actually my favorite, because it's super super Easy to do and the way that I'll do it is all start with a low ponytail and then I'll kind of braid that, like a normal braid, my hair is on the shorter side. So if you have long, hair or really thick hair, this might not work for you, but if it does, all you need to do is braid and secure with an elastic. It should look something like this and then you'll take the end of that braid and kind of roll it underneath and secure it with some bobby pins and kind of pin any other pieces that might be sticking out and then pull some pieces in the front to Frame your face for manila, braids i'll start by parting, my hair in the middle and bringing everything towards the front and then starting at the back of my head. I will start a Dutch braid braiding from the back to the front and along my hairline. This hairstyle is probably the most complicated, but the way that I do it is, I kind of smooth everything down, checking in the mirror to make sure everything looks okay and braids. Until I get towards the other side of my head complaint finish, I secure it with an elastic and wrap it around to meet the beginning of the braid, and my hair is actually not long enough to meet the beginning of the braid. So what I do is I take a piece of my hair and I use that to cover the end and the elastic and pin that in place. Then I'll kind of pin any pieces that are sticking out and then I kind of pull out some face. Framing pieces around my ears until it looks like this, and that is going to be the end of this video. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed and found. It helpful, of course, be sure to tag me on Instagram and Audrey storm. If you try any of these out, I love it when you guys do that, and I will see you guys in the next video you
