Heatless Hairstyle #2: French Braid Bun Updo

Hey guys, it's me so today I'm going to be showing you my second hairstyle for my cuba's hairstyle series, and this is what the look looks like so I came up with this hairstyle. Actually, while I was on vacation a few weeks ago, I was ready to go to the pool and I wanted to do something a little bit different than just having my hair in a ponytail or in a bun. And I wanted something to look to you, but also look good when my hair would dry, so I wanted to do something with braids, because I'm really into braids anyway, so this hairstyle is perfect for many occasions. I love it because it completely takes all I hair out of my face and all secured up onto my head, and I don't have to worry about my hair all day, because I know that it will stay put in the way I want it. So the same style is great for going to the beach going to the pool for school. When you have like a test or an exam, you want your out of your face, but you want it to still look cute. I decided to go with a headband to take my air completely out of my face, but if you don't like the look of your hair, all away from your face, you can go ahead and style. Your bangs, if you want that, but I decided to opt for a headband, because it's heatless and also um, there's other things you can do with your hair. You can do like a little twist with your bangs or a little poof, whatever you like, but I just decided to go for a headband kind is faster and I like the way that it looks with this look. This is a perfect hairstyle when you're running low on time, because it honestly just takes about five minutes once you mastered the technique, I do have to warn you that you have to be pretty good at french braiding in order to do this hair design, but um Once you practice, you'll get the hang of it, so I'm just gon na go ahead and show you guys how to do it start by brushing out your natural hair and making sure you have no tangles, then take your favorite headband and push all your hair out Of your face, take your hair at your ears and evenly divide it in half at the back and make sure the line is as straight as possible, then brush out that hair and clip it to the top of your head out of the way beside which way You want your hair to be braided. I decided to braid mine to my left so now you're going to slowly take sections and french braid your hair to the left side of your head after you've braided in each section, great, normally all the way down and tie it off with a clear elastic. Let down the top section of hair and we're going to be braiding it across the crown of our head on the opposite side that we did the first braid. I find that tilting. My head makes it easier for me to french-braid across once. You'Ve reached the bottom of your hair, tie it off with an elastic once we've completed both phrase that sweep across our head on opposite sides, we're going to twist the braid so that we can cross them at the back and meet them at a point. In the middle, where the two braids me is, where we're going to create our bun so just twist the two braids together and twist it around into a bun once you have a bun, take your elastic and wrap it around to secure it. Now. Take a few bobby pins, I used about three or four and secure the bun to your head and ensure it will stay put all day and now your hair should look like this.
