Hey beauty, smarties, it's Maria back again with some more hair inspo and this week is all about graduation. Now, first off, if you're graduating, congratulations, you did it girl. My favorite part about graduating was decorating my cap to put over my graduation hairstyle. So today I want to bring you three different hairstyles that you can do for your graduation, but before we get started, make sure to subscribe to 17a youtube channel by clicking that red subscribe button down below. Remember we go live every Tuesday with beauty smarties and you won't want to miss it now, let's get right into the video. Our first hairstyle idea adds a glamorous twist to the traditional half-up half-down style. First part, your hair down the side at a diagonal parting, your hair at a diagonal, will help distribute your hair volume on both sides. This way, both sides will look symmetrical and even to start, the hopup section just twist, each side of your part loosely towards the back of your head, and you can bobby pin these sections into place. The bottom half of our hairstyle is just gon na, be curled. Make sure to add a generous amount of heat protectant to protect your hair before using any Hot Tools. Now we're gon na start curling our hair. To do this, you want to make sure to curl each hair away from your face. You want to curl each section of hair in the same direction that way you kind of create a nice wave texture in your hair. Once you're done curling your hair, you can add a light mist of hairspray to hold the style in place. Now. Just take your brush and brush through your hair from root to ends. This will give the curls a more unstructured softer, look almost reminiscent of old-school Hollywood and you're ready to hit some graduation stage in style. For the second look, let your pride shine with a school spirit, side, braid, first part your hair to one side and bring the rest of it over your shoulder opposite the side with your hair part on it now start combing each side that frames your face into A curved swoop, once you've created the perfect soup, you can bobby pin these sections to the side, as you comb make sure to team down any loose strands. You can also tease the area just underneath the section, if you happen, to need a little bit more volume. Next spray: a generous amount of hairspray directly onto the bottom, half of your hair work, the hair spray into the hair with your hands since we're going to braid it. This will help prevent any shorter layers from lifting and making the braid look choppy. Now you can create your regular side, braid, making sure to smooth out each section as you go once you finish, your braid, you can tie it with a clear elastic and to add that school pride and conceal that elastic tie ribbon or two of your school's colors. Now, catwalk across the graduation, see, is showing that school pride girl. If fancy and sophisticated is more your cup of tea, then the super chic updo is for you like, in our previous looks start this hairstyle with combed out, hair and a side part. Now you can create one or two braids that start from your part braid these sections all the way down to the ends and secure them in place with elastics making sure to leave a few loose strands at the front of your face. You can gather your hair into a low side. Ponytail using a hair tie now take the strands you left loose at the front of your face towards the back and over your hair tie one side at a time to secure them in place just use bobby pins and stick them into the base of your ponytail. Now we are just going to start curling the hair with a curling wand. As you curl each section of hair, you can pin curl it into place and secure it with a bobby pin. You'Ll want to pin curl only half of the amount of hair that you have in your ponytail. The rest you'll just want to leave and loose curls, and that's it you're ready to slay all the graduation pictures. Alright beauty, smarties and there you have some hairstyles. We got you inspired for graduation season, I'm so excited for those of you graduating or working hard for that diploma. Keep up the good work if you enjoy this video, do not forget to subscribe to 17s YouTube channel back clicking that red subscribe button down below and giving this video a big old thumbs up. I'D like to know how you guys are wearing your hair to graduation. So let me know in the comment section down below and I'll be scrolling through your ideas and I'll see you these mornings on the next one bye
