What'S up guys today, I'm in my bathroom, because it's my favorite room, because where you poo, I always looking for different hair ideas and hair tutorials on the internet. I kind of frustrated because I naturally have very curly very frizzy hair and the only way to maintain it is to use a straightening iron or curling iron on it. My hair is getting pretty dead. If you can see the ends of my hair, just disgusting, I've been getting creative lately because I'm getting married - and I want my hair to grow and the best way to get your hair to grow is by not burning it every day. I'M not blessed like most of the other YouTube beauty gurus out there. They could probably just get out of bed and they have straight hair or they have curly hair and they can just go and it's like. Oh my god, I just look up and it's perfect. I'M not like that. I get out of bed and my hair looks like this. So if you have the same problem as me and your hair is a freaking mess, but you don't want to put heating products on it every single day, then maybe this video will help you out. I just noticed: there's not really any videos for girls who don't have perfect hair. Here'S a couple hairstyles you can try for the girls out there with frizzy nasty curly gross hair. Alright. So the first thing you have to do is take our hair down, which is terrifying. The first hairstyle I want to show you is a simple side. Braid, so first thing you got to do is find a part. My hair once to part here today. So will not argue with it now listen. I have not done anything to my hair that it clearly it's frizzy, it's nasty! It'S not really curly, it's not straight! It'S just frizz, I'm going to quick little braids that can save the day. First thing: you're going to do is start with like this much hair. Oh, my GUP needs help because a girl one of those spots, so what you can do is you're going to twist it away from your face kind of lowdown. So you don't want to twist it away from your face way up here, because then you will look like me in sixth grade. You start twisting it, so it should look like this and you're going to do that. All the way down the back of your head. So I'm going to turn around so as you twist it around your head, you're going to keep grabbing chunks of hair. So like can you see this when you get to about here? That'S when you stop, you can feel make sure no frizzies flew out, but it should look like that. So now, you've got a big rat fence. This is going to be the hardest part and it's easy. You should want to separate the hair. You should have about equal amounts of hair in both hands that are you twisted in the hair that you haven't now you're, going to separate the remaining hair into two chunks. So now I have three hunks of hair. This is a very professional technique and then you braid it starting with the part that you twisted already. Okay, just start to braid that this is the hardest part. Once you get past that you're golden I'm staying away from heating products, but it is really pretty if you can curl your hair before you do this, because then this part of your head and this part of your head has like little curls in it. And it looks much better, but I'm trying to stay away from heating products once you at this point. It looks kind of Little House on the Prairie, so we need to make it look a little bit cuter. So how I'm gon na do that is. Oh so frizzy I take the front chunk where bangs would be and kind of pull it forward lightly, just tug a little bit on the top of your head, so it gives a little bit more volume. So it's not like flat your head. You don't look like a thumb, ladies and then just pull out a bit of hair. If you want, you don't have to and then just kind of pull on the braid like this to looks thicker now, if you're using products use hairspray, but I'm not going to do anything today. So it just kind of looks like this: it's a messy lo braid! I call it the homeschool braids, because I was like a home schooler, so this next hairstyle does require a headband. You need the kind that's like elastic and goes all the way around your head. So once again, you're going to part your hair kind of where you want it, you place it on your head, like a crown and then you kind of push it down not have to turn around to show you how this works. So this is how it looks right now just kind of push onto my head. Oh, it's already looking like show but you're going to take chunks of your hair and you're going to wrap it up and tuck it into this band like so so it looks that should be messy and you should keep doing that. So it looks like that in the back. Did me less than one minute to do that now? The front, because clearly this is a freaking mess. Normally, when I do this look I curl this, but I'm gon na have to not do that today. Just kind of pull bits of hair out kind of twist them a little bit so they're, not as frizzy. So well, actually did this look like a year ago on her YouTube channel and that's what the image idea: mad props to zoella for actually posting hairstyles, that people can do get a better hair tutorial on how to do this. Go subscribe to so a lot I'll. Put a link below so you can watch her video for doing it, but super easy over the shoulder. That'S what it looks like. Let'S do the next one. The final line is one that I've been doing a lot lately and it's very simple um. It'S a fishtail bun first thing you got to do is get your hair up and a high ponytail and make sure it's super tight, because it's like a free facelift and who doesn't love that actually, maybe just gives me receding, hairline and not so much a facelift. So I just do this upside down, you grab it all up and then aggression into my hand, you can't see, but I'm putting it up into a ponytail alright. So now it's up in a nice high ponytail like that and I successfully have given myself a receding. Hairlines split your hair into two chunks and the first chunk. You cut it into two pieces, and this is how you do a fishtail. Braid you've got two chunks of hair. You take a little piece from this chunk like so like this. When you bring it over to this Shack - and you get a little check from this side - and you bring it over to this one, this one is really terrible, but you just put a little bobby pin on the end, to kind of secure it and then start On this side, cure them, Bobbie Pam, all right. So now I look like sporty spice and you're just kind of kind of like pull the pieces apart. Oh look. I missed a chunk of hair, see how good I am at being a beauty guru all right so you're going to take the uglier one and wrap it around the back you're going to make a crown on the top of your head, so you're making half of A crown with this hat first so then secure it in place with that same bobby, pin and now with the good one you're gon na. This is going to be the front half so kind of pull it apart a little bit to make it look. Thicker prettier and wrap around the front part you're going to place that one in place. So right now it looks like this. It'S certainly not secure and there's a big hole in the middle. So now I'm going to kind of spread it open. That'S long string slanted and I'm going to start pinning it so that I can cover up that part. So I'm going to take sections and kind of pin in to the bottom of my head, like that. Put it over here, just kind of start, pinning it down and random places to secure it, and also my hair super frizzy. While they do it, I'm going to pull the hair up and kind of like try to pin it in place alright. So this is the finished. Look for this one. I don't know if you can see it very well, but it's just a messy looking mess of a French braid, fun. Whadya think what do you think? I guess you could like pull some hair down, but I think that looks like 1997 prom, but you can do whatever you like alrighty. So those are the three looks that I've been alternating to stay away from heating products and different chemicals in my hair cuz. I really wanted to grow. I am NOT a beauty guru, okay, so I'm not claiming to know anything about hair or style or anything. This is just what I do on my Instagram and in my YouTube comments I saw a lot of you guys asking me how I do my hair, like this and other styles, that I've done I've seen you guys, ask how I did it. So that's why I posted this video, I'm not trying to claim that I'm a beauty guru will obviously have no idea what the hell I'm doing, but hopefully some of you got something out of this. I just noticed that most beauty gurus are talking to girls, who are already pretty perfect and I don't feel like I fit into that category, and I know a lot of you guys, don't feel like you fit in a category. So if you have frizzy unruly annoying hair and you don't have to burn it every day, maybe some of these options will help you out. I love you guys and have a great day. Don'T

- ̗̀ malum edits ̖́-: hi colleen! i feel your struggles, my hair is very similar to yours, mine is so curly and is dry and stuff. i thought i would give you some ideas and tips!  sometimes i do heatless waves and i find it very pretty. they arent perfect but they work and here is what you do. when you get out of the shower, let your hair air dry so it is not soaking, you want it to be slightly damp. find your part and then section it evenly in the back. put it in braids and then sleep on it. when you wake up, your hair will be very pretty waves and then you can wear it down if you want, or if you dont like it, you can do one of your hairstyles and it will give some texture and volume! hope these help! if you have any questions, let me know! ilysmm

Vy Ngo: Thanks so much Colleen! I don't have curly nasty hair (lol) but it would still help me a lot and school is about to start so yeah. The only hairstyle i wouldn't like so much is the fishtail bun bc if i leave my hair in a sorta tight ponytail for a long time then i would get a massive headache and i'm not good with bobby pins
