Heatless Curl Tutorial & Review // Amazing Results

Little bo peepers lost her sheep and doesn't know where to find them, i'm losing it hi everyone and welcome back to my channel with love, savannah, i'm savannah, and today we will be trying tic tocs viral heatless curls. If you know me at all, you know that this is right up my alley, as i really don't like using heat on my hair, i have very virgin hair where i've never dyed it. I don't use a lot of heat on it on the daily. I don't straighten it. This is my hair. Naturally straight i am about two hours outside of a shower, and so my hair is still pretty damp, which is how i want it for this video but yeah. So i really don't stray my hair a lot and i do curl it on the occasion really. My hair only holds curl with the wands. I saw this, you see it all over the internet. I ordered mine shirt off amazon. I know that you can buy these. Like up to 50, they can get pretty expensive. I personally have seen this done like initially. I think it was done with a robe string, so i figured it didn't really matter much. So i went a little cheaper on mine. I think mine was about like 13, but basically it comes with this clip two scrunchies and then this thing that we were putting on my head - and i thought this was a pretty good one, because it is pretty long. I think i need the length it's night time i'm going to put this on my hair and we're going to sleep in it overnight. So i will be able to get the review on how it is sleeping with this and we'll be able to see how it does in my hair. Let'S get started. The first thing that i'm going to do is just throw some mousse in it, because my hair really doesn't hold very well at all. I'M just going to put this in just for a little extra insurance. I don't think this is going help make the curls like. I don't think it's gon na influence our product review at all, but i do think that if curls happen, this might help my hair to hold them. So that's the goal. I will link the specific hair curler that i'm using just in case it works really. Well. I'M going to use it. This also is actually making my hair a bit more damp, which is good one hairstyle that i like to do. A lot is i like to when my hair is almost dry, but not completely. I like to braid my hair and sleep in it at night, and then i get these really pretty like beachy waves and the best way that i found that they stay for me is when i have my hair a bit damp um, not quite dry, because if I leave my hair too wet or i do them right away. Then my hair, just it doesn't matter how long the braids are in it will just stay wet so now that the mousse is in we're going to take our ridiculous little curling device - and i have my hair split - i don't have it split in the middle piece. It'S kind of my normal part, but that's okay, that's how i want it for tomorrow. So you're supposed to put this thing in the center of your head. I also want to say this is my first time doing this, so we are gon na laugh at me. Together and try it out see how it goes, making a fool out of myself for the benefit of the group, all right so now that this is fastened to the center of my head. Basically, i think what you're supposed to do is just sort of like a french braid technique where you take one piece and you put it behind here and i think you just gather more so you just grab the next piece looking at myself on the viewfinder. So don't let me grab the next piece and you pull it back as well, and i think one thing that's important is making sure that these stay tight. So i'm going to try to hold this back here as i go. This is the side that i part my hair to the most. So most of my hair is over here, which means this side is probably going to take a little bit longer i'll say from the gecko. I guess i'll move back, so you can see this fastened top of my head from the gecko. I thought this would be a lot harder than it is. I do braid my own hair, so i'm sort of used to doing this kind of stuff again do. I know if i'm doing this right. No, i don't because i guess maybe i should have been like pulling it down yeah, because i guess what i was doing is really just like holding it back here, but i guess i should be bringing it around as well. Honestly, i'm not really sure but yeah bring it around. I think that looks good and then pull it here. This is only a little bit of baby hair here. Okay, i'm really interested to see how this is sleeping. Okay, well, that was actually super easy. If this works and isn't like a nightmare to sleep in i'm going to be extremely happy, because this is no heat, this is way way way way quicker than curling your hair. Now, what you're supposed to do here is you want to fasten in the end, so my hair, my ends, will be a little bit straight. That'S good and i'm going to like put this up like this, so it's not just like hanging down and now we'll move on to the next side. So i messed this up a little bit just with this thing, flapping around. So there's no hair back here. So really, i'm just wondering like. I wonder if i made my pieces too big like there's this no way like this is too good to be true. I feel like all right, i'm gon na speed this part up just because you watched me, do it the first time. Basically, i'm just wrapping up grabbing a piece wrapping it around grabbing a new piece, i'm really not i'm just kind of grabbing, like i'm, really not paying attention to how much i wrap it the whole way around, and then i grab a new piece. So i'm going to do this on camera, but i'll speed it up. So you don't have to watch the whole thing again just another sunny day, all right and there we have it. I'M excited for brandon to see me. I'M sure he'll think i'm super cute. I'M feeling little peep vibes um. These are my pjs and it matches me quite well so fancy little new hairdo. My overall impression this took me a couple minutes. This was absolutely no time at all. It'S pretty comfortable like it's, not hurting me. I do think i could fix this little clip a bit better. I'M really skeptical to see if this is gon na work, but if this works - and if this holds i will be amazed so i'll sleep in it i'll show you tomorrow. It looks like when i wake up if it stays in or not, i will take it out on camera and we can look at how the curls look and then i'll even do a little updates to just see how they wear, knowing that my hair doesn't hold Curl very well, the one thing i did want to mention. I got a little mousse on it, but because i said i would link the actual one i'm using. I wanted to show that it does also come with the pink headband. So this is not really for this process. This is just for whatever i guess so, maybe tomorrow my hair is looking cute and curly anyways. I'M really excited to see what this looks like in the morning. I think it looks like a little bow peep if this works. It'S going to be a miracle, because this is the easiest thing. I'Ve ever done. Really it's like three minutes yeah, you look like dorothy. We could watch the wizard of oz. I wouldn't mind that and watch with me that's from my mom's favorite movie. Well, we'll have to honor lisa lisa if you're watching we're gon na watch it for you all right guys. That was a success, so we just got ta wait and see how it looks good morning, everybody as you see this actually stayed in surprisingly. Well, i have not touched it at all, so the clip is a little bit sideways and this looks pretty much the same, but maybe a little bit looser, but it's it's in it held, so these have been in for about 12 hours. At this point, you can either sleep in them or you can wear them for three to six hours so at night, during the day like whatever you want to do before i talk about how it was sleeping in them, i want to just take it off. First, just because if they look horrible um, it doesn't really matter how it was asleep in them, in my opinion, so first i'm going to do is kind of i have the ends tucked in. So i'm just going to undo that and then pull the little scrunchie out and the scrunchies again came with it and then i'm going to do that to the other side. Pull this through. Oh my gosh. Look at that! Oh i'm so excited i'm so excited okay! Unclip now what i've seen people do? Is you go like this? Oh my gosh, i was not expecting this at all. I haven't even i've watched a couple of these or like seen, little tick tocks and like no one. Sorry this is not meant to sound, but like no one's hair turns out like this, like, oh my gosh, i freaking love it. I cannot believe this okay, so back here. This is like a little more straight and then it's like this and look through like springy bouncy curls, and then it's just it's all backwards because we wrapped backwards. So it's away from my face like this is perfect. I can't i i'm getting absolutely nothing from this, but you need this like if your hair will wrap around those things you need it because curling, your hair is just so much damage, and i mean it's that's, but still like every day. It'S so much work like to curl my hair, because it's so long it takes a long time like this is so beautiful. I can you see it? Oh i'm so happy! Okay! So let me talk about sleeping. I just can't get over this, so you're gon na have to deal with my excitement, but let me talk about the sleeping process. So last night i took a shower really early in the night and i kind of just had a relaxing night with brandon, so that worked out really well, i let my hair get almost completely dry. It was still a little bit damp. That'S what my hair holds. The best and i put in some mousse and then i wrapped it and, as you guys heard, that was the easiest thing i've ever done like i really thought i was going to struggle like it was going to be all over the place. It would be hard to hold it wasn't. It took me a couple minutes max and i was doing it a little slower. This is my first time because i was doing it on camera, but i could do that in like two to three minutes. I'M sorry, i just thought my life. We got like two to three minutes like that was so quick sleeping on it. I honestly thought i was gon na have to sleep on my back, which is not the greatest, but i didn't think i would be able to sleep on them. As you saw, they were in the front. You can kind of push them to the back, which is what i did. You could push them back here a little bit and you could sleep so i slept well like i slept all throughout the night. I was a little bit awake, but i think brandon and i watched some things that were like suspenseful and scary last night, which is not my jam. So i think i was just awake because of that, because i was aware in my sleep like i was aware that those were in my hair, i kind of dreamt about them, but it wasn't anything where i absolutely could not sleep. That being said, it does say you can do it for three to six hours. So what i'm going to try is on a day where i'm just like running errands like cleaning like just running around the house, or even a work from home day, where i don't have to do my camera. I think i would just like either shower in the morning or just dampen, my hair, like whatever and then put it in during the day and then be completely ready to like go out and do things after work. So at this point i'm going to just add some hairspray to it. I just have the garnier fructis flexible control, hairspray, 24-hour hold into humidity definitely need the anti-humidity, and i just don't want my hair to be crunchy. So i'm going to throw this in and then we're going to do a little like midday check-in, so like a couple hours to just see how it holds, because when i curl my hair with the wand, it does hold all day. So i definitely want to see like is this as good as i think it is and guys, ladies, if this stays, this is game, changing absolutely life-changing. These are perfect curls. This is exactly i'm so happy. Okay, talk later hello, everybody, so i waited all day to do my hair update, because i just really wanted to experience life, do a lot of things and really just check in to see how it was so today i worked the whole entire day and then i Did a 40-minute walk and we went over to a friend's house. I was on the floor playing with little kids, so i really was doing all of the things today and i just want to show you go to my tiptoes for this, but it has fallen out. Definitely a lot, but again my hair just doesn't hold curl in general, but it is still these like really light curls that are very pretty like this is how a lot of people want them anyways. It'S like that, not straight, but not completely. Curly. Look! It'S honestly! Perfect so for to have fallen out to this. I absolutely love it and i'm thinking about tomorrow, even just taking a shower earlier and trying it during the day to just see how it goes, but this is definitely something i will be doing.
