Hi, my beautiful friends: how are you doing it's me me here today and today I'm going to show you how to create these beautiful soft waves with a simple fabric headbands I personally love and enjoy learning new ways of how I can we create hitless waves and Curls because I prefer to stay away from heat, I only use hot tools on very special rare occasions and today we'll be trying out a new, very fun technique of creating really simple waves. So, let's begin for this tutorial: we're only gon na need a few simple tools, one of the most important tools, of course, because it's gon na be headband curls we're gon na need some happens. I prefer to use two you can just use one. I just find that with two I just have more grip. I just feel more secure when I write my hair around the headbands. We'Re also gon na need a bottle of water, so you just want to give any spray bottle that you can use an old hair spray bottle or anything you have. I just have this simple bottle and just fill it up with water. We'Re gon na need a hair spray, I'm just using my raw for hair spray and we're also gon na need some kind of texturizer, so any kind of clay or wax or cream for the hair, just to add texture and that's it. Let'S begin now. The first thing I'm gon na do is split my hair into actually sorta split in two but anyways you get the point, so you have your hair in two sides and then I'm just gon na give it a quick brush and then next thing I'm gon na. Do is I'm gon na grab my fabric headbands, and you can get these at any kind of accessory stores. I got these that accessorized, I'm sure you can get these at Walmart or any other store where they sell accessories. So you grab the headbands and then you just insert them like that. Just like that, so not fully in, but over the hair and then what you can do. Nice is just. If you get this kind of pump, you just want to pull the hair down. Just so that it's flat, so all you do is just pull on the hair just to pull it under now. What I'm gon na do next is I'm gon na grab my spray bottle and I'm just gon na start spraying, my hair, I'm not gon na, be spraying it from the roots, I'm just gon na start spraying just about the ear level, so just grab the bottle And start spraying try not to spray in your face like I just did so you just want the hair to be you don't want it to be too wet either. So after you spray just make sure that you kind of go through your hair and you distribute the water and also you can check if it's too wet. I think at this point I'll add, maybe just a little bit on the end, and this should do it. So I'm gon na start from the side, as you can see, the headband might be going up again, and all you have to do is just pull it back, and then you grab this section and you start twisting it. I'M just gon na turn around. On my side, so you guys can see so once you twist the side, you left it and you insert it in the headband. So that was the first twist and then you continue twisting the hair, and then you continue twisting the hair and as you're twisting it you're wrapping it around the headband. And this is what its gon na look like when you're done with the left side. And now I'm gon na go ahead and do the exact same steps on my right side. So the first thing I'm gon na do so: I'm gon na pull the headband down and then I'm gon na grab my spray bottle and just spray. My hair, with a lot of water, just to get it all, damn, okay and then once it's damp enough again, I'm gon na turn around. So you guys can see I'm gon na twist. It wrap it around the headband once I finished twisting all they here around. They had been, this is what I have, and I'm gon na show you from the back as well, very funny from the front. This is what it looks like from the back. It actually looks like a pretty cool hairstyle, I'm not too crazy about the front, but the back looks nice now. The next of what I'm gon na do is I'm actually gon na grab my hair spray and I'm gon na spray. The hair in the back with lots of lots of hairspray. Now, at this point we have a few options: option number one is to go to sleep like this and do this at night and go to sleep and wake up with beautiful waves option number two: if you do this in the morning, then you can apply makeup And then, while you do that or have breakfast, your hair is gon na dry out, because that will probably take about an hour option number three. If you're like me - and your nourish like right now, I am what you can do is just use a blow dryer and use a cold setting or warm setting, not hot setting, because no heat remember and just use the blow dryer to quickly dry, your hair. This will take you about ten minutes as opposed to a half an hour hour, so I'm just gon na quickly dry, my hair and then I'll show you the results. This is me after 10 minutes and now that I touch my hair, I can see that it's dry, so this is the test that you can do if you're not doing this overnight is just make sure that before you unwrap it, it's dry. Otherwise, all the effort goes to nothing, so I can feel the hair is dry, so I'm just gon na grab the first section, which is the left section and I'm gon na slowly and wrap it from the headband, and this is what I'm gon na be left With at first and I'm gon na do the same thing here alright now I can remove the headband altogether and start opening up my waves. Now. The next part is actually styling this waves. They look really pretty, but they need a little bit of styling. So what I'm gon na do next is I'm gon na grab my texturizer. This is just a hair wax I've had for years, just gon na grab just a tiny bit. You don't want to put too much in your hair cuz. It'S gon na make your hair. Look greasy so just grab a tiny bit, and then you just spread it between your palms just like that, and you feel really warm. I think I'll add a little more. What I'm gon na do next is I'm just gon na go into my hair and I'm gon na scrunch my waves, so this opens them a little bit and scrunches them and gives it a different effect, and then I'm gon na repeat the same step. Just add a little bit more of the texturizer product, just scrunch it up and do the same thing on my left side, and that's it that's it for today, these are the heedless waves with a headband technique. Give it a try. I want to see how it looks on your hair so make sure that when you recreate it, definitely put on your Instagram and watch the hair hashtag. Thank you so much for tuning in. Let me know how you like this tutorial, is down below leave me a comment. I love reading your comments and I'll see you guys next week, many kisses bye and then I'll show you the results.

VIOLET W: This works fantastically! I can't believe how beautiful my waves came out! Thanks Mimi!

I even didn't have a headband..so I literally made it out of rope and this still worked for me ! Thank you for this tutorial!! @luxyhair

Rosa Morera: One of the things that I absolutely love about Mini is her simplicity! Unlike bother fashion or travel bloggers or IG figures that only post stupid things , Mini is all about love and family! other bloggers advertise the perfect life .... things that the average hard working people can’t afford .... for example expensive brands. Mini is realistic and down to earth! Her travel blog is informative and honest ! I’ve used a lot of her videos for my own travel !!!! Love her !!!

Karina Lockitt: You are so pretty! I love your hair color and your eye makeup it's gorgeous:) I have medium length hair and I also have dry hair. I dyed my hair about 2 years ago, and due to my dry hair, it didn't work so well Do you have any suggestions, tips or products I can use which allows me to dye my hair? I have dark brown hair by the way:) Also, I love this video! As I don't like to apply heat to my hair often, this is a fantastic way to achieve gorgeous waves! I have kind of straight hair but it goes wavy at the bottom. I like everyday hairstyles like waves, half ups, ponytails , braids ect. Thankyou Mimi❤Love your videos:)

🌻Just Chrissy!🌻: thank u for making this tutorial so simple!!!

Y골라: 아 진짜 설명도 잘하고 정말 좋은 방법이다 고마워요 언니

Raphtacular: I've used this technique for a while and love it! If you have hard to curl hair like me (or curly hair that you don't like to wet after its straightened) I've found the best way to get curls that last for a while is to curl your hair like normal (curling all one direction one side and all the other) and then wrap the hair around the head band it lasts really well. I usually sleep on it then and it last for a couple of days (depending on how often you wash it). :)

jennysmith: MIMI PLEASE DO A WORKOUT ABS ROUTINE :) DOES ANYONE ELSE WANT TO SEE IT ?

Michelle Foong: this method works so well for me. been using it for ages, love it!

Karina Polson: i love it! so simple!

Chloe Leavitt: She can make any hairstyle look amazing!!!

makeupgirl2015: I can't wait to try this!

Ivana IV: Love the waves. I used to do it a little bit different ( take a small section from the front and than add sections as I go around the band towards the back, kind of like when doing a braid) but I had hair coming out of everywhere. Might be cause I didn't use hairspray before. I usually put hairspray after, don't know why I'm definitely gonna try this. What I actually wanted to say was I love your dress. And another thing, you do look a lot like Nicole. Sooo beautiful!!

Maisie Bignell: Going to a wedding this weekend and want something really natural and easy to do. I've been scrolling through youtube for ages and finally came across you, this hairstyle is perfect! Thank you<3

Mireia Molina Barranco: I've been doing this waves for years (but all the hair and with a twist band, not a band around all the head) and started without being aware! Started because it was very long and it was so unconfortable for sleep and I started curling to make it short. Now I always curl my hair at home and always looks naturally wavy and I love it!!

Sheila More: Wow you made that so much easyer thank you so much so beautiful

Sophie Foster MSP: The music in your intro is the same as LaToya forever's! :) Loved this totally going to do it!!!

I have used the spongy curlers and the rod curlers, but neither gave me the big bouncy curls that I wanted. I am so glad that I came across your video and I can't wait to try it. I hope mine looks half as good as yours!

taylor-rose roberts: I love this method. I do it all the time which is great cuz I don't use heat as much so my hair is in such better condition. I use cute bands or scarves too and keep them in during the day too and many people say it's so cute. I love this idea so much. Add accessories to the top too to add some flavour love this video too

Heidi White: so gorgeous, and has inspired me to try some fun stuff with my hair!! luv you Mimi xo

Allana Thornton: Does anyone else have the problem where the headband immediately slips out?

Izabella Kondili-Sturesson: I live around Gothenburg, Sweden, and have just been looking through at least 7 different hair style tutorials done by you. I am to celebrate my friend's graduation and normally curl my hair. So for the ''heatless waves/curles'' with the headband I am wondering: how do I keep the hairband in place while sleeping considering how long my hair is (like yours) and how much I move? I am warmly impressed by your charisma the smiling you do throughout your tutorials. You seem lika a lovely, young lady :) x Bella

Jae K.: I have to stay, I adore your videos! I've been watching them for a while (on my other youtube account which got deleted) and I just think first off, you're drop dead gorgeous! And your hairstyles are really helpful. Keep up the great work!

Star Perry: it looks great I love it x

Porscha Mccoy: there is a product called the curl band that does same thing but works better because it's more comfortable than a tight head band

Dentista VIP: Loved it!! Perfect! Easy!

Caitlin Mc Quail: Great video im totally trying this

zen: Btw just wanted to know how long does the curls last? Nice videos!

Rosario Gonzalez: i love your videos there are amazing tutors you make .

kailey dyer: I have this in right now but I'm scared to take it out cuz I'm not sure if it's ready or not
