Overnight Heatless Robe Curls! You Have To Try This Way!

Hey guys! Today I want to show you a different way of wearing overnight heatless robe curls. Instead of twisting my hair around the robe belt like I did in my previous video (linked below), I'm going to wrap them a little bit differently. The end result is BEAUTIFUL! Let me know what you think of these overnight heatless robe curls in the comments below. XOXO! #robecurls #heatlesscurls #overnightcurls

Hey guys so for today's video we're gon na do another heatless curls video, so i posted this picture on instagram and this picture on instagram and a lot of people are asking how i did that. So i know i've done a video already on rogue curls, but this is video that i did. If you haven't seen it, i will link in my description box, but you can see here how i'm kind of just twisting it around the room this time we're going to do it a little bit different. So let's go ahead and get started all right, so you can do this on clean hair. You can do this on dirty hair, but you do not want your hair to be super wet. My hair is, i would say, 95 percent dry right now. I did just get out of the shower and i did blow dry it on a cool setting um. I didn't have time to let it air dry. So that's what we had to do. I did use a heat protectant so make sure you do that if you have to blow dry your hair. If your hair is super wet, it's just not going to do well with this hairstyle. So don't even try it. I'Ve learned from experience when i'm doing rope curls i like to just part my hair down the middle and i'm going to use the same rope that i used in my robe curls video um. You can see here, i did cut it. It'S just bothering me. I hated how long it was. If you don't have a rope tie, you could always use two long socks like these. I had to use these the other day because i couldn't find my rope tie, but you just tie them at the top put it on your head. It'S the same thing, so the reason i like to part my hair down the middle when i'm doing robe curls is because my curls are going to be the exact same on each side. I part my hair, so when i'm done doing the rope curls the next morning, i just part it and it looks good. So i'm just going to put this on my head and then take a clip and then clip it back. So what you want to do is grab a section of hair on each side of the robe and to start out we're going to take the front section and we're going to go over the robe. And then we're going to go back under the robe and hang on to it. With that same hand, do the same thing with the back section: we're going to take that and we're going to cross it over the robe and then we're going to go under the rope and hold on to it and now we're doing the same steps. But we're adding in hair, so i'm grabbing a section right next to the front section, adding it in and then crossing that section over the robe and then taking that section under the robe and then just holding on to it. With that same hand, and now we're doing the same thing with the back section, just grabbing a section right next to it and adding it into our back section and then taking that section and we're crossing it over the robe and then taking it back under the Rope and then holding on to it and then we just keep repeating so again, but now at normal speed. I'M going to take my front section, add in a section of hair right next to it and then just take that section cross it over the robe and then under the robe and then same thing with the back section. Add in a section of hair cross it over the rope and then under the robe, and you literally do this all the way down until you run out of hair, and then i try to make sure that all of my hair is added in by the time. I get to the bottom of my ear because once you get past that ear, if you're still adding in hair, it starts to like kind of droop and it doesn't end up looking good. So that's just a little tip for you. So we've reached the bottom of our ear and all of our hair is added in so now we're just doing the same exact steps, but we're not adding in any hair. So we're just taking our sections over the robe under the robe over the robe under the robe over the robe under the robe all the way down. So this hairstyle, it's not a braid. It'S not a french braid because you're not crossing your sections over to the other side, you're more just kind of wrapping it around that middle strand, but once you get the hang of it, it's really super easy. So here's what this side looks like and now we're going to do the same thing on this side. Okay, so after i braided both sides, this is what they should look like. I will show you guys up close, so you can see the pattern that we did on each side. Yours should end up looking something like this, so i'm just gon na hang out the rest of the evening and sleep in these, and i will wake up tomorrow and show you guys what they look like and don't forget to remove your clip. I almost left this on, so it is the next morning. It is time to take these bad boys out, so i'm going to go ahead and start with this side. I know i've mentioned this before in past videos, but if your hair does not hold heatless curls well try using a mousse or a styling cream. I didn't need to. I just use moroccan oil, because my hair holds curls pretty well here's what this side looks like. I have not brushed my fingers through yet so let's do this side now. I did want to point out too that the way i wrapped these versus just twisting it around this was actually a lot more secure than the twists. I find that the twists can kind of move and loosen, but these stay nice and tight, and now i'm going to run my fingers through them and i'm also going to part my hair, like i normally do so. These are the curls that i get wrapping. My hair a little bit differently than i showed you previously so when i just twist my hair around the robe belt. This is what it looks like i'll insert a clip here so they're, both beautiful curls but they're, both different curls. I think i like these curls more. Let me know what you guys think i'm obsessed, but i'm going to do a full 360, so you can get a good idea of what it looks like. So that is the tutorial. Let me know what you think in the comments below: do you like this style of curls better or do you, like my previous style of curls, better i'd, love to hear what you guys think don't forget to like subscribe, leave, a comment and i'll see you in My next one bye, guys

YuNaK1TtYkat: Tip for avoiding that clean split/hair separation in the back from when you part your hair into two: Take a comb and make a zigzag part from the top of the back of your head all the way down. that way it'll all blend together when you take it out :)

Kate Yurkova: Everyone says here that they want to try it and never come back, so here I am: I tried it a few times and it works beyond expectations! It somehow holds better than with all the curling irons I've tried and the curl itself is tighter. Thanks a lot for the clear explanation!

Katie O: WHAT, this is a genius way of doing these curls! I haven’t seen anyone use this technique before and I am HERE FOR IT! I’m so excited to try this!!

Neon Wombat: I really appreciate how clearly you show everything - especially where to take the sections from! Love your videos! ❤

Keira Nowlan: These curls are amazing! I’m a side sleeper and I recommend tying the ends together in the back (you should end up with a sort of halo/crown thingy) I found it comfy to sleep this way. Thanks for the video girl, your hair is beautiful!!

Joanne Rando: I love this! I’ve tried rope curls before and this methods is easier to take out the next day ( no knots are tangles) and looks way more natural cause girls don’t all curl the same direction. Thank you so much for sharing this !❤️❤️❤️

miami5am: This is actually the best looking "heatless curls" I have ever watched! I can't wait to try this.

Selina Cacho: can’t wait to try this tonight!! these curls look amazing hard to believe no heat was used!

Marianne Oteyza: I love that. It’s straight forward, clear steps and you showed how you twist it. Great job! Thank you for the turorial

Faith Love Creations: Love this!! I watched your first robe hair video last night and can’t wait to try it tonight! Thank you ☺️

SaphirewingsOnFire: Tried it last night and was completely blown away this morning!!! I've been using another technique with socks before that yielded a pretty decent result but only starting under the ear. So this one frames the face better and is definetly an upgrade. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Christina Cole: This works so good! I love it I did it last night after watching this and I am seriously shocked how curly my hair is...thank you for posting this

J Pisces: I LOVE this technique! Your hair looks beautiful! Can't wait to try it!

CL Boymom: Gosh, your hair holds curls so beautifully! Thanks for the great tutorial. This style of robe curls def looks the best!

Rebecca Ude: OMG!! These are absolutely gorgeous! This way is definitely my fav & I can’t wait to try it! Thank you so much, have a wonderful & Blessed week

Brooke Lusk: Yes! I have been doing this from the start! I actually prefer this to *any* method for my hair because it's foolproof and lasts the longest. I'm so glad you made this video. Changed my life.

Fabulously Small: Oh wow, that's such a cool way and even the robe-look looks awesome on you! My hair is too short unfortunately, for now, by necessity, got too thin b/c med.reasons, but I'm getting my thickness back by derma-rolling combined with a natural follicle stimulation product (but derma-rolling your scalp by itself is known to already yield great results, see Gin Amber's channel for that (that's the name of the channel)). I already have babyhair all over so hopefully I can do these curls in not too long, looks incredible. Thank you so much for this clear explanation, Monique ps: I like these 'tighter' ones the best too!

Brianna Tullius: I’m a fabletics Vip member and love it! Would love a post workout hair tutorial and a video on glow hairstyles. Thanks!

J Mo: I cannot wait to try this! Thank you so much for making it very clear and simplified.

Elisa: Thank you very much for recommending Metagrip bobby pins. They are amazingly strong. I have very thick hair and could never get buns to stay secure for very long or even not look sloppy with other bobby pin brands. But today I am wearing pigtail buns and they look great! Your videos give me the confidence to try new things with my unruly hair.

tiffany binsfeld: Love you videos! Love this style wayyyyy more! Will try this tonight. I've been doing the other method for a few months ago so excited to try this

Samantha Rose: Omg your hair looks so gorgeous! I definitely love this technique more than the original one! I can't wait to try this!!

Noemi Gonzalez: Beautiful curls! Love how easy it looks

Ashley Roman22: I am definitely going to be trying this out with my hair. And give it a try because with having a 5 month old son and a 4 year old daughter, I don't have time to curl my hair like I used to do. Now, I can try this and sleep with the robe belt being in my hair and finally can wake up to take the robe belt out than be able to have beautiful curly hair. Overall, I love seeing an alternate way of getting curly hair. Thank you.

Erica Petty: Thank you for showing this technique! I’ve been doing the normal wrap but I’m definitely going to try this method!

Kori Brinkley: OMG!!! These curls are sooo cute! I am in LOVE with them! I am definitely going to try this technique

Katelynn Raymond: LOVE these curls! Love the other curls too, but love these more! Beautiful!

Victoria Prickett: Thank you so much for this tutorial! I did it last night and my hair looks fantastic, exactly how I wanted it. I wish I could send a picture in the comments of it.

The Life of a Homemaker: LOVE it. That is so pretty! I'm definitely going to try it!

paisley: THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! I have been looking for a good heatless curl for the last few weeks and I loved how these curls turned out thank you so much again for the video!

leish meish: This works way better for me than any curling iron I’ve ever used! These robe curls look just as good and for me they stay in all day and even the next day they look like beachy waves. This saves me so much time and effort and lasts way longer than heated curls. Thank you for sharing!

Sovanny Sin: This was absolutely pretty. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Hiya Sharma: Omg I loved these curls and I tried them and they looked so good and super natural. Thank you so much!

Sunny Artist1: Thank you for making this video. Your curls look gorgeous! I can't wait to try this curl method. Does it matter what type of robe belt you use? Does it have to be fleece?

Erica Mason: This is the best tutorial I've seen for this! Thank you so much!!!

Kim M.H.: Gorgeous! Thank you. You do an awesome job in all of your videos. Thank you!

Credit29: WOW!!! Those curls are amazing! You are a genius --- I've never seen "robe curls" before, and they look fantastic. You would have had to go to a salon and spend hours sitting there to get the same look, and pay a fortune for them. I'm going to go to my closet and find an old robe tie so I can try to duplicate your look. Thanks so much!

Arras10: These curls are perfect! Gorg

Stephers: Wow, your hair came out so beautiful! I'm definitely going to try your technique out. Thank you for sharing!

Sunshine: Whoaaaaa!!! Okay I’ve been just wrapping my hair around like the normal heartless curls but I think I’m going to try this way. I find that when I just wrap it around, like you said, it is so loose and I can’t keep it in place when I sleep. I think this will hold much better. I also love the curls from this one much better than the original! Thank you for showing us this other option!

hailey marvin: Absolutely stunning curls ❤️

Kendal: I'm new to your videos and this is the first time in years i've looked at any hair tutorials. I really enjoyed this video - it seemed very straightforward and easy to follow. Thank you for that! What happens if my hair is a few days old but I straightened it a day or two ago? Will these robe curls not really hold well? Can I try it like that or should I just wash my hair, dry it on a cool setting and then do it? I do have naturally curly/wavy hair, but letting it air dry doesnt really give my hair the best style/ the curls and waves dont always form as well.

Tracy Daniels: I did this last night on my 13 year old with VERY thick hair in a lob...so shorter length and it came out so gorgeous!!!!!! Thank you for sharing!

Joanne Shaw: I used this technique last night and omg the curls in my hair are gorgeous! Thanks so much for the video

Carolyn Holman: Thank you for sharing your beautiful hair style. I love it! Definitely going to try this!

m&m's m&m's: Thank you for being genuine and transparent ❤

Brittany Jenna: My hair is curly! It works a treat! Amazing, thank you.

Kingdom Celebrations: I was going to buy a $30 “heat less curls set”, now I’ll use what I have and spend $0 thank you

Amanda Boswell: Totally doing this tonight! I love the other curls but these kook more consistent and I can't wait to try this. Thanks

PWD2: I've been using your previous method for months, but I really like the curls you just showed so will give it a try. Thanks for showing the steps so clearly.

Suman Arya: These curls are really beautiful ♥️

7027CATHY: Love it, your hair looks awesome. I have tried this before but on wet hair and it worked but not as good as on more drier hair like yours. I will try this today, your method, it's my hair wash day today. I still love the twist method for beach waves, but for something different it's a wow I really love the results. I have tried the twist/rope braid one you showed us, last time I wash my hair and it worked out . Just wanted to let you know

Callie M: Trying now, praying it works well like it did for you! <3

Haven Wells: Love your videos sooo much!! Thank you for sharing!! I’ll try this☺️☺️

Cindy Lipkint: You do wonderful tutorials! Thank you!!

Nicole Maria: Wow! Really beautiful, I have my hair wrapped right now I can't wait to see it tomorrow.

N R1111: Woww❤️❤️ thank you so much for the amazing heatless curls ❤️.. 1. Do you think gentle combing would loosen the curls? 2. Can we curl using hair band too? 3. Wanna know how long these curls would last? Thanks in advance ❤️

JB West: I am so excited to use these tonight! I have the cutest outfit for tomorrow and I’m trying to glow up for high school... I’m prolly going to be using this technique a lot hahaha

Courtney Hylton: Gorgeous I’m gonna have to try this!!

Jiya Verma: I’ve just done it and I’m excited to see the result in the morning!!! Tysm for d videos!!

Priyanka Rai: Since i'm obsessed with curly hair nd i finally found a video that was way more useful than what i thought thank you so much

Ellie Co: This is incredible! Not sure how easy it would be braiding it around though

Talita Cavalcante: Amazing will definitely try this. Thank you so much

Sara Caminiti: Wow those came out beautiful! I tried it the other way you did and they came out really pretty, so can’t wait to try this way too!

sybil_thegemini: I definitely like this style more. I'll be trying it tonight! Thanks for the vid

Ashley Layne: Oh my goodness, I love this!!!! I definitely need to try it.

Lilly Burke: Your hair color is so pretty! The curls turned out beautiful!

ehadrah01: Very well explained and showed i the video! Thank you so much. I really appreciate it, will try tonight!

Amanda Gareis: I love this technique, because the hair stays put even during sleep and I love that the curls start close to the roots. I also did this from the start. One question: How do you comfortably sleep in them? I find the twists to be hard to lay on and I'm sleeping on my sides and on my back. I'm actually turning a lot during sleep Greetings

Brea Ell: I love these ones way more there absolutely gorgeous!

Nancy Scinicariello: Very nice demo. I love the curls on the today's video. Very pretty.

나야 Zoella: TYSM for this video. Since school started I’m been curling my hair every single day damaging it. I found this and tried it yesterday it came out so perfectly out of all the videos I saw this method is the best. Not only did it work it so much comfort to sleep in. I even forgot I had this when I woke up. I did curl some of the top of my hair to make it look a little more better add some spray to frizz it out !!!

Jenny Kelly: Absolutely love this! I think it’s a much cleaner looking curl

Brie B: Beautiful! I’ll definitely try this new method!

Samantha Chung: I like this style more than the other one. Great job, way to go.

Tania Harris: Beautiful! Both are great but I prefer this second curl. Thanks for sharing!

Melissa Barden: ♥️ your hair! These curls are the best! Thanks for sharing.

Kristina Dortmund: Love it , so great for long hair!

S. Houle: Love this style so much! TY for sharing

GanjaKween: Hey Girl . . I loooooveeee how these curls came out. Gorgeous

Wendy Desplanque: I love these curls. Can’t wait to try it.

Shanna Summy: I love these curls! I used the other way, and like those curls okay, but this new way seems to be more secure and gets the back better. Thanks!

J G: Great technique, buttt could you also show us the curls brushed out with a widetooth comb (not a brush)? Thank you and your curls turned out beautiful!

Daniela: Beautiful & looks so simple to do

CrateNart: Love that!! Have to figure how wet or dry to have mine. What oil did you use and how much? Love it!

Bobbie Tattam: Love these ones! I tried the others ones a few times & the back halo section is always flat! I’ll give these a go & hope they come out better. Thank you xx

Kayla Ball: Thank you so much. Love this method so easy and great results. Your video is awesome made it so easy.

Trish Pipkins: Wow this is so cool! I've never seen this technique and I definitely love the curls it gets you. I've only seen the other way. I'm so trying this! I just need to get a good rope. Haha

Laura Elliott: These look so beautiful. Please could you do a haircare tutorial?

Betty Pospisil: I am obsessed. So easy and so gorgeous.

Alyssa Singley: Love this! You mentioned isn’t he video that you can add mousse/spray to keep the curls if your hair doesn’t, do you have any suggestions on brands? Also, do you suggest the mouse/spray before doing them and sleeping or after you wake up and take them out?

Cecile Walker: Thanks Lainey! Looks great. Wish my hair was longer & thicker!

Kelsy Littlejohn: These look so good! I need to try this!

Natalie H.: Love this new version so much more!!!

Kaitlyn Fenton: Love this technique! Will def be trying soon

Rena M: Wow I'm impressed with the way those turned out. I haven't seen that method used before I'm gonna have to try it.

Mary Dinev: Such beautiful curls . Love it.

Jay Newman: Oh wow that's amazing.....I tried the robe thing a while back...back....but just twisting the one way...and like you said.. it wasn't that great....but will definitely try this, great curls with no heat damage to hair...plus minimal time in comparison to curling whole head with curling wand, it's a win win.... xxx

Lisa L: Thank you! Beautiful and easy. And thank you for not overlaying some goofy music

Deborah Perry: Wow! I like both. Other One is more casual, sexy, beachy, waves. This style is gorgeous! Dressed up version for sure! And so many possibilities with all those curls! Thank you!
