Step 1: Pull your hair up starting at around your temple area. The trick here is instead of pulling your hair back, to comb it upward to create volume at the roots and give you that effortless, didn't even try look.

Step 2: Secure your half-pony with an elastic and tighten it for more volume

Step 3: Take a rattail comb and carefully pull up hair at the roots for even more volume. 

Pro tip: Don't worry about making your pony tail super neat when pulling it up, as this style is supposed to look just a little messy.

Hairstyle 2: Hidden Hair Tie Half Ponytail

Step 1: Pull your hair back this time and secure into a low half ponytail

Step 2: Take a strand of hair and wrap it around the hair elastic to cover it for a sleek look.

Step 2: Twist the ponytail around on itself into a bun and secure the bun with a hair elastic.

Step 3: Take a bobby pin and pin the bun at the top to ensure that it doesn't fall or droop down.

Hairstyle 4: 3 Strand Braid into Fishtail Pigtails

Step 1: Separate your hair into two with a middle part

Step 2: One one side, start braiding your hair with a regular 3 strand braid at about the height of your ear

Step 3: Once your 3 strand braid reaches the bottom of your ear, start fishtail braiding it instead by separating the braid into two and crossing over a piece of hair from each side. Click here if you need a refresher on how to create a gorgeous fishtail braid.

Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 on the other side.

Step 5: Tug on little pieces of hair on each braid to fluff up the braid and make it fuller and thicker.

Step 1: Take a little strand of hair from each side, at the top of your face.

Step 2: Twist the strands and secure and the back with a hair clip. This majestic hairstyle gives off total Cersei Lannister vibes!

Pro tip: Giving the hair a quite twist gives this style the look of a rope braid, but is much quicker and easier to execute. 

Hairstyle 6: Majestic pigtails

Step 1: Going off hairstyle 5, leave the top of your hair as is and separate the rest of the hair into two pigtails and tie with an elastic.

Step 2: Take a strand of hair from each pigtail, wrap it around the elastic, and secure with a bobby pin.

Hairstyle 7: Faux-fishtail Side Braid

Step 1: Take a strand of each from each side of your head, starting at the top of your ear and secure with an elastic.

Step 2: Create a topsy tail by sticking your finger in the middle of the ponytail you just created, and flip the ponytail up, pulling through the hole.

Step 3: Take more hair from each side, secure with an elastic, and flip the ponytail again, creating another topsy tail.

Step 4: Work your way down your hair, creating topsy tails all the way down. In total, you should have about 5-7 topsy tails. Once you're done, your topsy tail braid should look like a fishtail braid!

This hairstyle is very similar to Hairstyle 5, however, if done properly, should give the twists a more defined look. 

Step 1: Take a strand of hair from the front of your face and start twisting tightly toward the back.

Step 2: As you twist backward, grab more hair to add to the twist until you reach the back of your head. This will secure the twists, making them look like sides of a crown!

Step 3: Secure at the back with either an elastic or bobby pin.

Pro tip: If you secure the twists with an elastic, tie them together, then create a topsy tail for a fun surprise in the back.

Step 1: Take a strand of each from each side at the bottom of your neck.

Step 2: Bring each strand over your hair at the back and secure with an elastic. 

Step 3: Instead of tying the hair into a regular ponytail, tie it into a super loose bun.

Hairstyle 10: Braided Crown
