How I Style My Frizzy Thick Coarse Hair

This is how I style my hair !! I have dealt with insane hair since I was young and I'm sure many others know the struggle as well !

Hello, everybody, my name is Hannah, and today I'm talking about this today I am doing a video that I feel like I should have done a very long time ago, because quite frankly, this is my life, and this is what I deal with on a daily basis. This is actually something that I've struggled with my whole life. You know that's not clear at this point you haven't read the title already. This video is about styling, my crazy hair. I have struggled with having a very thick, coarse and frizzy hair. Since I was, I don't know, maybe like eight and I used to get bullied for it a lot as a child growing up. This was a struggle to deal with my current hair situation. The bottom layer has already been brushed because I was about to style my hair, and I was like you know what I should film a video like. This could have a lot of people who struggle with styling they're insane hair. My hair is naturally like some pieces. Are curly, as some pieces are wavy? Most of it is just a frizzy undesirable mess at all times, so this is how I style my hair on a fairly daily basis and also how I take care of my hair, not like super in-depth with a hair care. Routine, I just do what works for me and yes, a lot of people are gon na. Tell me that my hair is fried, but guess what this is just the natural texture of my hair. I have been told by hairdressers in the past, like oh, you need to cut your hair. My hair has always been like this doesn't matter. It comes out of my head like this, so no, it's not unhealthy. It'S just frizzy, it's just frizzy and I think a lot of people understand that granted. I did bleach the absolute crap out of my hair a couple years ago and my hair was pink and it was amazing and I miss it - here's a picture, so I am still recuperating from that. My hair has gone down significantly. This is what I do to take care of my hair. First, I look at it in the mirror and I think holy crap. Your hair is so big Hannah, just some key ingredients for taking care of insane hair. I recommend you get yourself: some coconut oil, because Rob virgin coconut oil is literally amazing for everything use this to makeup. I use this for my hair. I use this for my skin. You can cook with it like it's amazing get yourself a can of this. I can't I can a jar get yourself a jar of this washing washing my hair. I wash my hair once maybe two times a week, depending on the oil condition of my hair. How oily my hair is, I think, that's pretty typical. There is a car alarm going off right now. This is the shampoo and conditioner that I currently use for my hair. I absolutely love this. I don't think that they sell this one on their website. I don't know if they just stopped selling it if they're not making it anymore, but please love beauty and Planet. Please, please don't stop making this, because this is the best hair, shampoo and conditioner that I've ever used for my hair. Personally, this is the love, beauty and planet, coconut milk and white, jasmine, divine definition, shampoo and conditioner. It is for curl and natural definition. So if you have crazy, curly, frizzy, wavy, hair, coarse hair, then this might work really well for you. It works wonders for me. I love this stuff, but yeah. I don't know if they're still making it. So let me know makes my hair so soft and smooth, but my hair doesn't look very soft and smooth right now. No, it might is actually very soft. It'S just pretty just giant frizz ball. So whatever I'm used to it. As I said earlier, I typically only wash my hair one to two times a week depending on how oily it is and how much I don't want to look like a on that note. Dry shampoo is also one of my best friends. I use dry shampoo pretty much on a daily basis, just to kind of refresh my hair, since I don't like to wash it very frequently. Currently, I am using this one, it is called it's the volume and fullness one I actually don't know if they have other ones. I just grab this one and I freaking obsessed with it. It smells like peaches, it's for normal /, oily hair and it says cloudberry and chia see it's nourishing and weightless chia seeds. I guess I'm putting chia seeds in my hair people whenever I'm done washing my hair and I just got out of the shower. I typically put a little bit of this redken extreme anti snap. My roommate got this from her hairdresser and he told us whenever we were both platinum, that it was like the best thing ever for keeping your hair from breaking off. I also use this bio silk, which I don't know if this is like something from like the 90s or something, but I feel like this is just something that's been around since my childhood, I'm not really sure my roommates mom actually recommended it, and now we have Like seven bottles of this stuff in the house, I don't love the way that it smells. If that's just like a personal preference, I guess, but it does make my hair very silky and soft, and it's really nice and you need the smallest amount of it and I have ton of hair like I have a lot of hair. I also use a little bit of just like an argan oil protectant spray on my hair. Yes, I styled my hair with heat. If anybody has any recommendations for styling something like this without heat, please let me know, because seriously it doesn't work. I haven't even brushed through it yet so I guess step number one would be to brush through this Mane. I just I'm embarrassed to put this on the internet, which is like so wrong. I shouldn't be embarrassed about who I first we're gon na brush it. I use a wet brush because wet brush is the best ever I feel like it doesn't rip all of my hair out. So of course, start at the bottom. Make sure that you're getting any little knots out and you brush. Everybody knows how to brush their freaking hair head. I don't need to tell people how to brush their hair. My hair is air dried. I usually air dry, my hair usually wash my hair and then the next day I style my hair to just kind of give. It a little bit of time yeah, so I just brushed through this side and as you can see, the volume has already increased by double and the volume is already insanely large. So, yes, I have a ton of hair and it's very frizzy and I'm gon na just continue to brush it out now. Okay, it's a lot! It'S just like a giant fluff. I don't really have anything else really say about this. Ah, it's kind of just crazy. Look, I can like wear it as a scarf. We are going to be using our straightener. Currently, this is the hair straightener I have. I did buy this at t.j.maxx because I got no one broke. Yes, this is loom. I actually don't have to say that, like my Amish flange brand - and I got it at t.j.maxx and I think it was like $ 30 hate this bad boy up - I have it set to 450 degrees because I am desperate, beat yourself a little scrunchie also. I was and have been covered in hives for almost five weeks now, and so that's what this scary stuff is. That'S all over my arm. I apologize for that. I'M just gon na section, my hair off. I have to do fairly small sections, because again I have really coarse hair and the hair treatment can only handle so much whew by the way. All of the garbage talk that I'm getting my hair is just me being sarcastic because genuinely I do love my hair and I appreciate my hair and I'm glad, but I will never go bald. Take your hair, straightener and just shoot me on down. It'S not really. Shimmying, but you know what it actually doesn't matter. Nothing matters so see that wow. That is beautiful, that's good! That'S good! Stuff! It'S like the most awkward thing ever whenever other people can just hear you talking to a camera. Actually, I'm gon na set a timer. I never think about doing this. I want to see how long it takes me to do my hair. Typically, I do not keep my hair straightened, because my hair looks weird straightened because there's so much of it and no, I have not had any kind of hairstyle and a very long time so yeah my hair needs to be cut desperately. I understand this. I I completely understand that, but it doesn't look horrible. It just also doesn't look good the difference already, it's just a little bit flatter. I guess it section my hair in two pretty large sections, and then I curl my hair with my straightening iron, just like that. That'S it and I do that on my whole head all right, so I'm gon na style the rest of my head for the most part and then all right guys, I'm officially done styling my hair, and this is what it looks like. As you can see. It'S hair and it's on my head is styled. I'M going to add a little bit more of this bias up to it to you know, keep down any frizz that the sign to make its way into my life post. Styling and again you need the smallest amount, because - and I can absolutely say that it looks a million times better. In my opinion, then the giant fluff ball that it was earlier. So yes, if you were curious, I did time it and it took 25 minutes and 55.90 seconds to style my hair. There was some dancing and singing it involved, a little bit of distractions here and there, but for the most part it probably takes me around 20 to 25 minutes to style my hair. But I have a lot of hair and if you do too, then you understand the struggle. I guess this is the end of this video. I hope that you guys enjoyed watching me style my hair. Hopefully it can help some people who have really gigantic frizzy hair yeah. I don't think that I really have anything else to say about how I style my hair on a daily basis, but this is it my hair is done. It is styled. This is what it looks like I like to keep my hair a little bit curly, because I just think that it looks more natural for me. I realized that I look like Farrah Fawcett, but that's okay, because that's just who I am in my life. Thank you guys for watching. I hope that you enjoyed this video. If you did, please leave me a good old thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. If you haven't already and I'll see you guys in the next video

Brittany Merriman: My hair is the exact same and I absolutely hate when hair stylists tell me it’s damaged when it’s just natural lol this video was very helpful

Ashley Tolentino: I really thought I was the only one with an abnormal amount of hair, what a relief! So thank you for the tips! My hair literally looks fried every time I take a shower, but it’s healthy and I have no split ends at all! What I hate about my thick, coarse, wavy hair is that it manages to look like hot wheels tracks/ramps at the ends and it goes in every direction

Allie Black: Absolutely makes me so happy to see others with a thick/large amount of a lions mane for hair. My only problem is I can't curl mine without looking like a curly lion because there is sooooooo much hair... Straight or straight and pulled back is the only way :(

Emilia Scurato: I love how we're all in the comments having the same semi-religious experience because we NEVER see hair like ours unless it's already styled. Also, I saw the coconut milk and jasmine shampoo and conditioner at Target the last time I was there, so I do think they're still making it!

Natalie R: my hair is exactly the same! I want to try to find a way to style it without heat as well. however, styling with a straightener is the only way that gives me confidence but I hate how much hair I lose when I straighten/ style with heat. Also, I hate when YouTubers complain their hair is "frizzy" when its just wavy. your video is way more realistic so thank you!!!

Jamie Rego: Girl I completely relate to this. Everyone constantly thinks my hair is damaged and frizzy. But honestly its like freaking horse hair and always has been since birth.

mar: when i was younger i had thin straight hair and around the time i started middle school my hair got thick and frizzy. exactly like yours. idk what to do with it anymore

Kara Cole: Okay, girl... You're gorgeous. And I feel you because I'm Russian and have some of the coarsest hair of anyone I know. Thank you for being yourself with us! You've got yourself a new sub. P.S. A little list of why I'm thankful for my big, thick, coarse hair ❤ 1. Only have to wash 1-2x per week (fine girls cannot) 2. Hard to get greasy and hair will hold a lot of product! 3. Hold a curl for days! 4. I'll never go bald and if I do lose hair, there will be plenty left over 3. Volume by nature, so I can skip all the thickeners 4. Once styled, we are sleek, thick goddesses who can take on any challenge that faces us Seriously, please read this to yourself if you've ever struggled with being content with your hair type (that so many people don't understand). You're blessed with what God gave you ladies and gents. ❤

Mary Fowler: I never thought I would see a person's hair like mine!!!!!!! I'm so stoked lmao I love mine too because it's usually really pretty when styled but frizzy fluff is what I have too!! I have to be careful how I style my hair, especially with volumizing stuff because it makes my already big hair abnormally large and I feel like I have a tiny head

Danielle Hudson: Haha I completely agree my hair is naturally frizzy! Having kids meant my hair doesn’t get washed in like 4 days. I got told off by the hairdresser last year for washing my hair too often and using heat. The look of regret and embarrassment on her face when I told her in front of everyone in the room that I hadn’t washed my hair in 5 days and never use heat... priceless ‍♀️ thanks for making this video !! Xx

Brittney: I literally thought I was the only one with hair like this. It’s a blessing and a curse.

Carolyn Jessica Lewis: I’ve always had trouble with my hair. I really love the way you curled it with the straightener. I just leave mine straight and I’m so tired of it. So thank you

Georgia Fretton: One tip I’ve always found works for me, my hair is very similar to yours but quite long to, if you want to wear you hair more naturally without having to straighten all the time it control the frizz. I put my hair in a plait/braid over night after brushing it out, then in the morning I just brush out anything in needs as little as possible and it just seems to control the frizz a little bit and keeps strands together rather than become a mess. Sometimes if I have my hair down it gets bigger and bigger and I’ll stick it in a plait for half an hour and it calms it down!

Codi Quick: I literally died watching this video! Gurl! I feel the struggle! I refer to my hair as my mane all the time! I felt as though I was going to have to just chop it off but I always get so depressed after cutting my hair. Heat is the way to go! I feel you! Thanks for the tips and tricks! Glad I'm the not the only one with a thick ass mop on my head haha

Ansleigh Dupre: Wow! I really love the idea of this video and normalizing different hair types and how it can seem impossible to care for it sometimes. Also love knowing that other people have hair problems too. Thank you!

Isis Casillas: I have this hair type, I would recommend that you dont brush it. I stopped brushing mine and now only use wide tooth combs when I shower. It's changed my hair routine completely.

Amira Streeter: Your hair is gorgeous! And similar to mine. I highly recommend trying other oils too like grapeseed or baobab oil. Also the TYMO hair comb works wonders!!! The Olaplex oil is great too

Jessica Kruse: I have the same type of hair. Straightening it is just a waste of time when as soon as I walk outside it turns into a mane again

Caroline Talks Different: Thank you for this video!!!!!!!! I also have coarse, wavy, frizzy unruly hair that never likes to behave. Mine gets so bad that if i try to put it in a pony tail and smooth it down really good, I get these little hairs that pop up randomly that look like something inappropriate to mention!! So, don't feel bad, someones always got it worse, lol. No matter how much hair spray I use or product, but this vid actually made me feel better about my hair, and not so alone in the crazy hair department, just bought a new straightener and going to go try this out! Thank you, your hair is beautiful by the way!

Caroline S: Ahh great video! If only hair straighteners were around when I was your age. I spent my entire youth having to go through life with my huge puffy frizzy hair. Thankfully it was the 80’s so big hair was in style! These days I do the same as you, twice a week an hour out of my day to wash dry and style it. On the days I can’t be bothered I wash it dry it and tie it up in a huge messy bun on the top of my head - the volume works !

Allison Barnett: Thank you for this video. I have the exact same hair type. Thick, coarse, rough, CRAZY hair. the finished look was amazing. The only good thing about having coarse hair is the curls last a long time! Very helpful video!

Heather Williams: Dutch braids and twisting your hair after a shower(leave in over night or I have to leave mine in for like a day and a half for it to dry) ! Omg it saved my lifeeee. I have super long, super frizzy and dry hair. Always been that way. I learned how to braid and would take them out the next day and it looks amazing! This is such a nice and no heat way to have even curls.

Reconstructing Leslie: Oh my goodness! This describes my hair! Thank you for this video! I don’t feel so alone!

jakub b: The redken extreme anti snap line is my holy grail. I’ve been using it for years and no matter how fried my hair is it always helped it grow and look healthy.

MTS94: I'm 50 this year. This is the first time a thick hair video comes close to my hair! I rarely use heat on mine, and a wide tooth comb. I just leave it natural now.

Kim K: Your hair looks fabulous once you style it. I have the same type of hair, not nearly as thick. I refuse to use silicones, sulphates and heat (except once in a great blue moon - maybe once to twice a year). I love coconut oil and am now trying it mixed with aloe vera gel. It always takes my hair time to adjust before I can make a decision whether it works for me or not. Thanks for your video. Will check into the products you mentioned.

Dazey Day: Omg I am so glad to see this! Your hair looks exactly like mine except maybe I have like 50% more and it’s bright orange (even at my advanced age). And it’s always been that way. I always feel like I’m brushing out a golden retriever with a bad layer cut on daily. My sis is the same and we have big hair contests all the time. It get huger and frizzier just running your fingers through. It gets natural dreadlocks in a heartbeat. Hairdressers do tend to tell you your hair is fried but they also are always like you’re so lucky to have so much. I’m always like ok you gonna come over and brush it all out every day then?

sarahinspace: My hair was kinda like this before I chopped it off, I don’t have any texture to my hair, but it’s coarse af and still got frizzy, my best guess is from my pillowcase and the towels I use to dry it because I rarely use heat, but I would totally recommend using a protein mask for overly processed dry hair. I used one before I cut my hair and it helped a ton. Keeping up on regular trims is also gonna help you too to minimize the frizziness that comes with split ends

faye snelson: finally a video that’s helpful with coarse thick frizz hair. thank you ❤️

Brittney Barnes: I just want you to know you could have been describing my hair exactly and you are not alone! Even though it’s always felt lonely hair wise...nothing ever seems to work.

Visha Shah: I have the same type of hair and I usually put my hair in braids at night (completely dried hair) and sleep on it. It's been working for me!

Esmeralda: Try the curly girl method pleeease, my hair was exactly like yours, now is curly and soft.

Stephanie Veronica: Thank you for sharing this video. I never thought I would come across a video of someone with the same hair I have. Nobody understands how difficult it could be to style this type of hair or fine the right product to work. I always get asked why do I have to have my hair straightener that hot, it's the only way it'll last.

Jennifer Barnett: I’m here a whole year later! Lol I’m so glad to see someone with literally the exact same hair! I’ve been battling with it lately. After 30 years of living with it, I finally am here today YouTubing it can’t believe I didn’t do this before! Thank you for this video!

The Chic Studio Admin: Looks great! This is my hair too! Not curly, not straight. Too coarse and not curly enough for curly method. Now I’m growing out grey and those become like wires. I think rollers could work but take a long time to dry. Fun facts - People ask you “is that all your hair” lol - when you curl it that sh*t stays all day

baby: I'm not even lying , if I had your hair I'd never think of do anything to it it just looks so unique and vintage

Kate Derrick: WOW. This is my hair to a T. I usually just wear it in a bun bc I can’t deal with it. Mine’s flat and not voluminous on the top. Thin. Frizzyville everywhere. And stick outs wonky like tf?? It used to have a nice curl before I damaged it years ago. It’s never been the same and this is what I’m dealing with. Thank you soooo much for posting this. It’s silly but it’s always been a huge insecurity for me. You’re awesome!

Desiree Martinez: This has been the most relatable video I’ve watched from YouTube I never know how to manage my hair! thank you for posting this!

Blah Blah: Finally a tutorial with someone who has hair like mine! Thank you

Daisi Lu: Because you seem to have the same hair type as me, some advice heat does not exactly damage the hair but it makes it prone to drying it out more, and for this kind of frizz u dont want more dryness! You can easily straighten/style your hair this same way with less damage by first, wetting your hair, conditioning, adding a dime size amount of conditioner to your ends (i recommend Garnier Fructis Unmanagable for Frizz) throw up in a towel for 10 minutes to soak up the water+conditioner, brushing, then using a medium heat/cool blow dryer and round brush to Brazilian blowout the locks straight. THEN straightening with a straightener if you have to. The reason this damages less is because if the hair soaks up the conditioner and water, it will be MUCH less frizzy+dry and retain the style better.

E Sage Chavez: I hear you sister. I have thick and wavy frizzy hair and it is such a pain to style. I appreciate the video and I wish there was a easy way to do it

Margaret Petersen: ohmylord, girl you made my day..thank you.i was really having a bad day and you made it better with your awesome sense of humor...

DV: I have similar hair, but it gets better if you deep condition it once a week and use heat just once in a month. Anyways, your styling is beautiful and you look gorgeous!

Rebecca Finn: My hair is the same and I used to style it the exact same way, but I found a great new method! My hair has low porosity (can't absorb moisture well) which explains the frizz. A clarifying shampoo with apple cider vinegar helps open up the cuticles to absorb lots of water and now I don't need to straighten it at all. Give it a try!

babysn1per: To anyone with hair like this: follow the Curly Girl Method. My hair was exactly like this! I can remember never wanting to go to the beach or pool because i was so insecure about my hair, it never grew past my collarbones and it was thinning and extremely brittle and frizzy - but after following the CGM for over a year my hair is thick, long, healthy and i know how to style it in its natural form. It was honestly such a journey for me and i encourage anyone with hair that is remotely dry/brittle/damaged curly hair or not it helps your hair regardless.

kansashortcake: My hair is very similar. I struggle finding products that work. Biosilk had been around FOREVER but works great! Thank goodness for flat irons!!! In middle school I would use hot rollers to help tame my hair into some sort of smooth style lol.

Kendall Sutherland: Omg girl!! You should see my hair, it is, I’m not even lying, WAY more frizzy and thick than that! I hate my hair! It’s like so thick!!!!!!! Thx for the video, this has really been helping a lil w/ my insanely huge hair, it’s bigger that Annie’s hair off the movie Annie!!

That Crazy Chicken Lady: My hair is very similar and I know I’m late but here goes. After I shower aka when my hair is thoroughly wet, your hair normally gets straight and sleek. I then put it in french braids and let it air dry. If you shower at night it will still look good the next day. And once you take it out you can style it a little bit and you have nice even waves. Ur welcome it’s a life saver.

Kait Dean: Thank you Hannah! This was my first video and I think you have a great screen presence

carat soup: i don’t know how i did not see this when i searched up how to style thick frizzy hair but i’m so glad i found this, this time! i don’t ever straighten my hair since it was so long and it looked decent yet so frizzy but now its very short and looks like a horrible mess

Sherry Wortman: Love your video. My daughter has a tonne of course thick hair, it's actually frizzier than your's but it might be because sadly we cut it awhile ago thinking it would help. She can't do anything with it so she pulls it back into a pony tail and when she does it looks like a puff ball. She's 12 and gets tease and bullied. Kids can be so mean. So I'm researching to see what I can get her to help. I've bought things but I'm tired of wasting money on trial and error. So here I am. Thanks for sharing.

Hannah J: Oh my god.... our worlds just came together. I'm 22 and I have hated my hair my whole life... it's EXACTLY like yours! I never thought I'd ever see someone with my hair type. I joke with my family and say that I don't understand why I wasn't born with just normal "white girl" hair that's sleek and shiny. I've just about given up on it, but you give me hope. The only thing is, I can't for the life of me curl it with a straightener no matter how hard I try. Maybe my hair is too long for it. But i've tried and tried :,(

Max Eubanks: I am a guy growing out my hair for the first time, and while mine is a bit shorter we have almost the EXACT same hair This video helps so much and i appreciate it

Gold Ribbons: Finally someone with the same hair as me! That was a really helpful video, thanks :)

J G: This is my hair!!!!! THANK YOU! I will totally try out the shampoo & conditioner

tmPawelka189: "First, I look at it in the mirror and I think, 'Holy crap. Your hair is so big, Hannah.'" That made laugh out loud. I have the same kind of hair. Relieved I found your channel

Maddie Rayne: Omg it makes me so happy to see that I'm not the only one who STRUGGLES with this

NiallTheChurchBoi: Oh my gosh, I finally found someone who has hair as thick as mine! :')

Jaba Dahut: I'm a guy and I have the same problem with my hair, I usually just leave it in a pony tail. This video is so helpful!

K F: I used to have same issue , I got a big chop and maintain hair cuts every month and get a lot of layers that stops everything clumping togther and a lot of good quilty moisturiser (I just wet it everyday and do masks 2 times a week also a great thing to incorporate is acv rinse it seems the cutical really nice and makes it smooth and be shiny I still get friz but I use less heat because i can were my hair as it is

divinesiren: Growing up my family called me Medusa because of my hair. I also found using silk pillow covers helps it not be too messy when I get up.

Saumya Kushwaha: I feel you when you say you shouldn't be embarrassed of who you are.. My hair is like yours. I didn't like going to hairdressers for haircuts because every time they would they could not cut my hair in a way it would look good, and then complain that it's my hair's fault since its frizzy and dry.. and then start promoting their services like keratins, spa, straightening, saying that it would make my hair great. I have always tied my hair till college. Then finally I realized I am not much bothered about how my hair is but rather how people keep on saying my hair is, then I learnt the art of not giving a ahem, and keep my hair however I want to..

Jamie Golden: Omg thank you for doing this video! My hair is the same way

The Cure: I have coarse hair. I was told to stop using oils, grease etc that block water out because coarse hair already has so many cuticle layers that it has a hard time absorbing water. Silicones tons of protein etc isn't recommended unless the hair is color treated. In that case, smaller proteins like silk amino acids are recommended because they aren't going to make the hair any rougher than it is. I also got a moisture shampoo as well as an all purpose shampoo and alternate between the two so my hair isn't too stripped. My hair has changed so much. I love coarse hair!

Niko N: So nice seeing I'm not the only one out there with such a giant frizzball on my head! Thanks for making this video and shedding a bit of light on our struggle haha. Love your personality and humor, really great vid - and a relatable one at that! The Biosilk product you're using, is it the Biosilk Silk Therapy?

Heather Jones: I HAD the same hair type and texture and then I realized, my hair is wavy/curly and once I started styling that way, the frizz became less and less and even now if I don't put products in and air dry, it is softer

Caitlin Gallagher: Hi, Thanks for the video! Is it necessary to straighten thick, heavy (or course) hair before curling?

JESSICA Dye: So cute and looks so easy!

Dauminique The Dump Truck Driver: I love your hair, mine is the same way. My problem is I can’t get it to hold a curl from a tool. It’s totally fine with it’s own natural curls but as soon as I try to curl it, it just goes limp.

Faylene Rose: I’m so happy I was searching for a video like this my hair so unmanageable thank god I found you!!!!

Jeanie Smith: Ditto. Looks like my hair. Thick, frizzy out of control. I usually try to coax the curls to look half way decent rather than trying to fight the frizzies. But that only works every now and then. So I put it in a bun and say to heck with it. Lol. Thanks for showing me it can be subdued.

Renae S: My hair is the same way. More frizz/wave underneath. Uneven curl. I too never blow-dry. Nothing drives me more mad than my difficult hair

Jahanvi Mehndiratta: Omg I have similar hair, the volume is legit a big problem since my childhood. It is so much easier if it is straighten

instantclassic: This is my hair. I have to do zooms for work at the drop of a dime. I hate when my coworkers complain about needing to “brush their hair” for zooms. If I did that I’d look like a crazy person. It takes me 45 minutes minimum to get my hair presentable

Mercy Ful Art: Took me 3 hours to straighten my hair the other day! My hair is a confused puffball. Some sections are wavy others are super curly. But yes, i'm glad i won't be bald.

Maria Vazquez: Omg you are so funny!!! I laughed so hard with you Love this video because my hair is just like yours!! Wish I had seen this video sooner!

Paige Sullivan: Zinc has helped my thick frizzy curly hair a lot. Even my hair dresser was surprised to see the difference. Hope it helps. Also thx for making this video

Oaesis Beauty: I love your hair it's so beautiful and big and I wonder if you can eliminate some of the frizz by doing a wash and go with really moisturizing products like a leave in and a curl enhancer and seal it with oil at the end to let your waves and curls really shine! I have really curly porous hair if I were to go straight from washing my hair to air drying without saturating it with a moisturizing product my hair would look really dry.

Art Intelligence: I have thicker hair and same problem, after all I found Kératine straitener the best treatment to have, keeps it well for a month or two. Thanks for your nice video

Fairy: We have the same exact hair omg I’ve never seen anyone so similar to me! Ugh It is annoying but it’s beautiful and thick!

Jordan Harris: My hair is the exact same! What do you do for days in between? Do you re-straighten and re-curl daily? I'm not sure if yours does but mine holds curl really well.

Kate Wesolowski: OH MY GOD I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS VIDEO. This is exactly how my hair is.

MutoidLiz🛠: My hair is like this, hasn’t even been shiny in over a year! I could manage it before I had my daughter,I haven’t had been able to condition, blow dry or straighten my hair in over 2 years and it shows

Rii Kalra: "It is hair, on my head and it is styled" Lol I love this video and Hannah you look gorgeous.

Google User: "450 degrees because I am desperate "....yes, girl, yes! If I have one more stylist tell me to never do that, I'll scream. Love this video

Vanessa Smith: I have never felt so relatable to a youtube video in my life!! Thank you, thank you for this :D

MAE: I have hair just like yours. People can’t understand thickness like this and always say it’s a blessing. It’s not! While pregnant it was twice as thick!

Francisco: Im 24 and I had straight hair for my whole life, until 1 or 2 years ago when my hair started to turn frizzy, unruly, coarse. Almost my whole head is like that now and it seems to never be gone, doesnt matter what I do. My health its also good, havent get sick or something on years. What happened? Lol

Pilar Gonzalez Olivera: ty so much for this vid!! my hair has always been really thick and frizzy and the fact that I have a lot of it doesn't help. It takes me between 25 and 30 mins to get it straightened, it's really sad that we have to use heat to style it but idk, what could we do right?

Rachel Whittaker: When straightening your hair try using hair straighteners with bigger plates, I have similar hair and it’s so much easier xx

plantpants: Love, you should really try the curly girl method. You don’t have to follow the product ingredients, but the rest I’d recommend. My hair used to be exactly like that but now I have beautiful little ringlets all over with proper maintenance. :)

Christina Bunny: The fact that your hair can be as smooth after heat means it shouldn’t need to be so frizzy in the first place. Definitely would go back to step one starting with the way the hair is bleached and then the shampoo/conditioner used. There’s so many ways to care for your hair before it comes to styling. I think you should invest in a higher cost shampoo and possible olaplex. Also maybe switch hairdressers, they could be adding more damage to your hair than needed. Not saying it’s gonna fix the problem completely but those should start you closer to the end result

C H: My hair does the exact same. It grows out frizzy too. It's soft and shiny when I straighten it though. Mine never looks healthy unless it's styled :-/

Marin: Bought the shampoo right after watching this! Used it and loved it! Thank you :)

Jill Cofoid: Literally same except I’m 18 and still can’t even style my own hair

Diamond Wedding Studios: THANK YOU. I have this same hair texture! No one believes me!

dannell: Your hair reminds me of mine. I am black to control frizz we deep condition our hair instead of rinsing out conditioner. Mane choice or Shea moisture products would work best for your thick hair.

Amy Katrinaa: Literally my hair is exactly the same... potentially worse! It’s a nightmare isn’t it! I have tried the keratin straightening kit from amazon which helps but expensive as I need three boxes to do one go!

I am a doctor: My hair is the same. But this happens because you have wavy hair and you treat it like straight. It's wavy, thick and dry,so you need to moisture your hair ALWAYS,and that means oils, good masks and stop heating tools. I know it's difficult but something that helps me is to sleep with a braid or use rolls,me hair will be naturally more wavy and not having the almost-straight-but-frizzy kind of structure.

Jillian Barker: omg this is so helpful-this is my exactly my hair
