Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I thought I would do at some hairstyle tutorials. So, as you can see, I have a lot of hair, so my hair is normally very curly, sometimes on the frizzier side like it is today, and so sometimes I want to do more, updos or plats that type of thing, if the curls just aren't looking too Refreshed and it just saves me having to go, have a shower every you know do them all, because I don't like washing my hair every day when it doesn't need to be so. I just have to get creative with some hairstyles, because I do you have a lot of hair and it is stubborn hair, but I wouldn't change it for the world, so I hope you guys find these useful. All you're gon na need is some hair bands and yeah. Let'S get to it, I mean I could start with the hairstyle I'm rocking right now, because I don't think it looks too bad doing that sort of a half up, half down type thing. It gets out. Your face, so the frizzen frizz isn't all around your face, but look if I take it out, it is so just puffy it's. I just have a lot of hair, basically but um. Yes, so if I want to tame it completely I'll show you it's quite impressive. I think, if I put it up into like a nice bun, I find it amazing how small the bun actually is compared to how much hair I have so. It kind of looks like a poo on my head, but I just like twist it like this, whilst holding the top and then I just roll it, and then I sort of fatten it up after. But all of my hair goes into this little bun here and then I'll just secure it with a hair band and voila. It is out of the way stress free. So that's why I can have such long hair, because when it's annoying me I'll just throw it up in a bun, so you'll see. But if you know me, you'll see me like this all the time and I just get called an egg, because I just throw my hair up. If it's really windy outside, I throw it up. If it's frizzy, I throw it up, it's just yeah. I love having long hair, but sometimes it does get annoying, but then I can just put it up in a bun. So this is the lifesaver if you've got really frizzy hair and if your hair is anything like mine, it will condense into quite a small bun and then release into the madness that is my Mane, but I've literally just had it cut as well. It'S amazing how fast hair can grow sometimes but yeah, so you can either do a huff up or a bun, but anyway they're the boring hair cells, let's get into the fun ones. So the first one I'm going to show you guys you're going to need for hair bands to do it. You can split your hair into sections using a comb or hair brush, but I don't brush my hair, so I don't own any of those really. But I just use my fingers, so the first thing I'm gon na do is just section it like so so I'm just taking the top part of my hair and I'm just doing kind of like a high pony type thing and then the bun I just showed You we're gon na do another twist, but just with less hair, so we're just twisting twisting twisting and I'm just gon na twist it into kind of like a mini bath. Just like so and then I'm just gon na tie a hair band around it, like you would a normal fun like that. So I know it looks funny and you're gon na, like you need to have kind of release the hair to make it not look. So pulled back, but you can. I always do that after anyway and then we're gon na take the middle section here. So this is kind of I don't know what to call this one. But you'll kind of look like you've got a bit of a mohawk going on, but why not? So I feel like I'm only gon na get three on my head feeling, my hair, so you can do three or four, but it looks funky regardless should look something like that you can do flatter buns or you can do more protruded buns, depending on what sort Of look you're going for and then just do the final one at the base, so you can do as many or few of these it just depends on many times. You like how many partings you make in your hair or how much hair you have. It always varies with me, because I don't used to comb it's just how much hair I take for the first one versus how many I do so. It looks like that from the side, but then from the front, it's just like. Oh yeah, I've just got a normal cute bun and if you put like a clip there, you can give yourself a bit of a queef queef. That is totally the wrong word a quiff. I cannot believe. I just said that so yeah. If you pull the hair here, you can give yourself a bit of a quiff. You can pull some strands down, but um yeah, it's just a nice sort of alternative to just a normal bun and you can do it when your hair is super frizzy. And then you can just smooth down with a bit of gel all the flyaways, but it looks tidy and it looks clean because I find frizzy hair just has that appearance of like for me anyway. I just feel like I haven't tried, even though it's not my fault, if that makes sense, but no I really like this one kind of looks like a mohawk type design. I know it's kind of crazy, but it's just kind of fun because from the front people might just think oh she's just got you know a bun and then you're like value. I like anyway, oh it's a little bit on the crazy aside. I do get that, but you can make it a little bit more relaxed, so it doesn't look so like crazy, coming out your head, but you've got the idea of it. That'S my thing, and obviously, if you wanted the lines to be a bit neater or a bit more symmetrical or in-between these, it's here just use a comb and separate it out properly, I'm quite easygoing with that type of stuff. But I know a lot of people like the light to be perfect and, to be honest, it looks amazing when it's done right, I think with certain hairstyles. I just need to up my game with them, but anyway, this is look number one. Now, if you thought the last hairstyle was on the weirdest I'd, just wait till you see this one. So this one doesn't look weird in the end, but the way you do it is a little bit wet so just kind of detangle, your hair a little bit like kind of finger brush it, and then what I tend to do is I'm just gon na split. It in half, roughly again it doesn't need to be too precise unless you want it to be. Oh, I've found a knob right in the middle of my hair. Finally, don't fret your hair into the middle, so you look like this or maybe you look a lot. Tamer than this, because all these hairstyles work on all hair types, I've just obviously got one type of hair type, so I'm just kind of finger, brushing it a little bit and then this is where the fun begins. So you're gon na plat your hair into like a beard. So I just take the front bits here to start with, I think they're a little bit short, so I might actually have to start with the business I'll. Try good try I'll, take some longer pieces or because when I recently had my hair Kelsey, I didn't think about my hairstyles and how that would work. So I'm just gon na take a little bit and then so. You want to split your hair into three sections. Like this good, I'm looking at myself in the viewfinder - and I do not know what I'm doing and then you're just gon na start platting beneath your chin and then just start taking bits of hair. As you go just like this, this is actually very amusing. I don't know why I do this to myself to be honest, but I thought I would share, because some of you might struggle to do French plats and that's basically what this is you're doing: a reverse French plat and then you're gon na flip it over, which Is pretty cool, I think I'd say: let's do this, so you can see it forming down the middle there and also, if you just really want a beard, you can wear it this way around. I personally that's not the style I go for, but why not you just want to make sure you get all your hair in try not to plan your t-shirt. If you can avoid it right, I think that's all my hair, I never knowed me. I'Ve got so much okay, yeah, that's fine and then we're just gon na keep parting till we get to the bottom. And then you can just leave it like this. If you want right, that's per hair band on and then this bit doesn't always go to plan, but hopefully it will cuz, I'm filming. But before I flip out my head in a second, you can just sort of like loosen out the plat apologies for always looking in my viewfinder. I didn't actually set up a mirror to do this, which and it's kind of a very much mirror needed hair cell. So I'm just using it to check how it looks so here we go the before and then I just need to that unpop it from my chin and not take all my lipstick with it that I didn't do. I did it too tight. Can she do try and do it as loose as possible? Oh we got somewhere, so that was quite the adventure getting that over my face, at least I'm not wearing earrings. Otherwise I would have stabbed myself, but it's kind of like a relaxed. Looking plat. I don't know if you guys can see this. Hopefully yours was a little bit easier to get over your head. I apologize. I haven't done this one in a while, and I definitely tied it like too tight around my chin and kind of leave a bit of space and do it lightly, and then it will just flip over really easily, but it just looks really sweet down the back. I think, and it's so easy to do all you need to be able to do this plat. All you have to do is just plan, it's like because a lot of people struggle with plotting down their back, but you get the gist so voila. So the next look, I'm gon na do is kind of more on the normal side, but you do need to be able to either French bear or dutch plap and it's not the end of the world. If you can't cuz I'll show you a way to kind of get the same effect without doing it, but you want to keep your middle parting. I say: keep your middle parting like you're, going to be sat in your room that she's following all of these you're. Probably just gon na do one out of time, but if you can't French plat I'll show you quickly how to do it without having to so you take a chunk of your hair, like this tie it with a hairband like so the reason I know how to Do this type of French plat is because when I was younger I had really really naughty hair, and so sometimes I couldn't separate enough of my hair French fat. So I cheated - and I would put my hair in a band like this and all I'd need to do - was split it into three, so I would plat the three down my head like so and then, when I get to the base here. I'D put this in my mouth, which means I cannot talk. So no, that's not really look good I'll tie, hair band round X. Then I can talk you through it and then you're gon na split the base of your hair into three. So what you've got left? You then split this into three parts, then take the hairband out and join up the strands you just did with this one. So it becomes like this and then you carry on just doing a normal part. So it's not a French plat, but it kind of goes. Plat down your head and then into a plat, this looks really nice in one. I find down the back, but you can do it without the hairband as well, and it just gives you the same effect: okay, the gist anyway. I'M sorry I just randomly threw that in that's, probably quite a random thing to do, but what we're gon na do for this hairstyle is to French plat and then we're gon na put them into a bun rather than because, if I had really nice curly hair. Currently, I would like finish them off there and just put a hairband, but I feel, like my hair is a little bit not bouncy at the moment, so we're gon na put it in a bun. So all you got to do separate into three. You can either do Dutch or French weather, depending on how you want the platter. Look it can either go into your head or out of your head, except for our, and if you don't want to be mean to yourself brush your hair first, I just tend to always leave that without, for example, here we are me trying to get rid of A knot and there we go alright, so just finish off the plat, with a hairband when you're down to here then do the same on the other side. Just like that, and then when you're done take the two hair bands out or you can leave them in and you're just gon na cross them over cross them over like this and you're kind of gon na twist them into a bun. So you can do one at a time if it's easier and you just twist them and they kind of like grab the curl, so it doesn't basically grab it into a ball and tie hair band around them. It should look something like this, so it's kind of just a subtle alternative to having two long Platts, it's still kind of an updo, but it's just more of a subtle one. For me as a geologist, I can wear a hard hat with this look. I know it's a very extra look to wear a hard hat with, but it works having the low bun and with as much hair as I have it's very convenient and so yeah. You can also like fluff out your Platts, so you can make them look a lot thicker or skinnier. However, you want to do it, but you can play around with it. So you do a nice parting. I have no idea what mine looks like, but I I have an idea and so yeah. That'S this look and then the final hairstyle I'm going to show you guys it's similar to the first one you saw with like three buns on your head, but instead of buns are gon na be ponytails. So I'm this one that helps to really elongate your hair. It'Ll make your ponytail look really long, and especially with curly hair. It just makes your hair look more refreshed than it is. If that makes sense, so the curls kind of just all sit on each other, and it's really nice jeez. How much hair is on my hairband right here could make an extension out of this look a little up, that's just from where I talked about the hair. That last I need to be kinder to my hair. So for this I take quite a nice portion on my head literally the same sort of three sections as I did for the first look, and I'm just gon na tie it nicely and then, to finish these looks off, you can take a piece of the hair From the ponytail and hide the hairband, that just makes it look even more polished and depends if you're going for a casual look alike, a nice stylish look, so it just looks like there and then you can like fluff it all up, and then I just flick It forward, and then I take - I cut this section in half flick that one forward and just like that you can make your hair go from my normal ponytail would be that long, because that's the top one, which is still a long ponytail, but compare it to How it looks with the other two, I just think it makes such a difference and you can like fluff up your hair in places or you can conceal the hair bands by putting little bobby pins either side. So using this pony here you just clip down the side. So then, even in the wind it doesn't show that you have multiple hair bands and if that makes sense, but this one I just always think it looks a bit like a horse's tail. I just think it's a really nice look for a long hair. That is what the final hairstyle looks like. So I really do hope you found this video fun or useful. I really enjoyed making it. Let me know if you'd like to see more or what type of hairstyles you like to see more of whether they're greasy hair wands or really nice and curly ones that maybe protect your curls. So I know a lot of hairstyles like if I plant my hair when it's curly it loses my natural curls and they'll go more wavy, so yeah. Let me know if you've got any ideas, that I'll link on my social media down below and thank you so much for watching.
