3 Ways To Air Dry Fine Hair | Kenra Platinum

https://youtu.be/p732IE72qkE

In the salon, we always have clients who love coming in to get that full beautiful blowout. However, sometimes clients just want a low-maintenance finish and want to be able to be on the go or they might be getting in for a last-minute cut or a color retouch service. Air dry cream is the perfect product to finish them with, so that you can create a polished, purposeful, end results, but that's really easy to wear the first technique. I'M going to show you guys is volume, eyes waves. This is an ideal technique for any hair type of texture. Looking for max volume and soft movement to start, I'm gon na towel dry my clients, hair just to remove some of that initial moisture on the ends. This is really important to ensure that the hair fully accepts the product and that we can really achieve that soft movement. We were talking about next, I'm going to apply our counter platinum, air dry cream. The perfect benchmark amount of this product to use is about a dime-size, but, of course, based on your clients, density and texture. You can always use a little bit more. I really like to work this product through the mids and ends, and it's really important, if you're layering other products in the hair to use the air dry cream first, so that it gets immediate contact to the cuticle. And you can really see that 60 percent reduction in air dry time, a pro tip for achieving max volume on finer, textured hair, is to layer in voluminous touch root. Mousse. I love this product because it helps to achieve that really light weight volume, especially at the base of my clients, hair and for fine hair. This is ideal because you don't want anything to weigh down the mitts and ends and we're gon na kind of direct. The hair as if she were flipped upside down, if your clients at home, they can totally just flip their hair as necessary, but I think this is a great way to do this behind the chair. A pro tip when you're doing this with fine textured hair is to not brush through the mids and ends too much all this movement here is, what's gon na, create that soft Bend and natural texture and on fine hair. If we brush through it that tension is gon na totally eliminate that now we're gon na pull the hair into a high bun again trying not to brush through the hair too much and I'll just lightly twist it into place to secure the hair. It'S important to use something that won't leave indentations, so something like this is great or a soft, scrunchie or hairpin. You want to make sure to not put it in too tight so that the hair has no indentations and then you'll. Let this set until the hair dries. Remember that the amount of moisture you leave in the hair should directly correlate with how much curl your client does or does not have. So for someone like my client who has straighter hair, you want to make sure that there's less moisture when you said it. This next technique is also a really great air dry technique for anyone that has fine textured hair. But it's also really great for someone who has a straighter, curl pattern and doesn't have a ton of natural wave. This technique is called low, key bends and it's really gon na focus on creating a pretty face frame for my client and accentuating some soft s pattern throughout the interior of her hair. Before we begin applying product, it's important to remove some of this moisture on the ends. This is a great tip for fine textured hair. That'S again a little bit straighter, because this will allow the product to really activate any natural wave or help encourage natural wave. As the product works and air dries to apply air dry cream for this technique, I'm gon na still use a dime sized amount as I'm working the product through the hair, I'm still focusing on the mids and ends. But then I'm really gon na apply some more product throughout the hairline. This is gon na ensure that she gets a lot of really nice movement and face cream and also ensures that, through her air dry, the frizz is all tamed a pro tip to share with your clients, if they're using this product, especially if they have some really Vellus hair at their hairline that tends to give them a little bit of trouble, is to really focus on over directing the hair back away from the hairline when applying that product. So we're going with the cuticle layer in the same direction, which will ensure that the hair is as smooth as possible. Next, we want to figure out where our client parts their hair, so I'm going to clean up that part line just slightly and make sure that this set is exactly the way that they want to wear it. You can totally do this technique with a side part or a center part. It'S just based on what your client prefers to help encourage a little bit more movement. I love layering and counter Platinum, texturizing mist. This is again a great pro tip for straighter hair. If you're trying to achieve a little bit more movement, this will really help encourage it to begin this, set, I'm gon na over direct the hair slightly forward up the hairline again to just start to encourage some face frame, and then I'm gon na very naturally tuck. The hair behind the ear you'll want to make sure that as you're doing this you're using low tension and you're already creating that little bit of wave that you want to see in the end result to help encourage this front face frame. I love using these little setting Clips they're great for just encouraging that movement, but they also ensure that if there is any frizz at the front hairline that it's already tamed down so now we already have this really nice face frame wave set in place. I'M gon na create a couple more interior waves here by using additional setting clips and just softly bending the hair forward clipping it into place and then also encouraging this back movement. So the clips are set in a forward and backward direction, and now I'll do the same thing on the opposite side, for this back subsection, based on what your clients looking for, you can totally leave this down or sometimes what I like to do. If your client wants to see even more Bend is lightly twist it and then set it up and clip it into place with a claw clip. This will just give them some movement in the back interior and some additional waves that'll really help accentuate the look. This is definitely a more advanced air drying technique, because not every client knows exactly how to create this end result it's a little bit more effortless but definitely looks intentional, creating that soft gorgeous movement. The third air-dry technique, I'm going to show you is a beach wave technique. This is a great option for anyone looking to create that perfect, uniform beach wave that doesn't have a ton of natural curl. For this, I'm going to be using loose braids to set the hair and there's a lot of customization - that's open for this, but it's great for any hair type, and especially great for straight fighting here again for this look, it's really important to remove as much moisture As possible, especially if you want to encourage as much movement as you can on straighter hair for this air-dry technique, I'm actually going to use about double the amount of product that I use for the previous ones. This is because I want to encourage as much movement as possible in the hair and the air dry cream is really going to help to encourage that a pro tip to really encourage and accentuate this wave is to layer encounter platinum hydrogel. This product is awesome for this, because it gives you the hold of a gel but the movement of water. So it's super easy to work through damp hair, especially at the mids and ends where we really want to see that extra movement I like to kind of scrunch and shake off the hair at the base as much as possible. Just so that way we get a lot of natural volume and then what I'm gon na do, based on the amount of movement, my clients, looking for and their density is create some really loose braids within the interior. My first braids gon na start here at the front and again the size of your subsections, can directly correlate with how much wave movement you want to see just a simple three strand. Braid is great for this. I'M keeping low tension and making sure that it's nice and loose to keep it natural. What you also want to make sure is that, at the bottom of your clients, hair you're not securing this with an elastic just kind of let it sit, because even if the braid unravels it's just gon na help, encourage it to look more natural. Now, I'm just gon na continue creating these braids on the interior of the hair for every client. I do this on where the braids are placed might be a little bit different. This can be customized to their haircut. It can be customized to where they want to see movement or where they need volume, so just make sure you're not trying to be too symmetrical just kind of take a look at what your client has and make sure it's customized to fit them another pro tip. When dealing with fine textured hair, especially when your air drying is to treat the hair like fabric, we know that anytime, we over stretch a fabric, it doesn't hold its shape and the hair is gon na react. The same exact way so just make sure that as you're braiding, I'm not aggressively combing through it. Even with my fingers, I'm low tension and really just letting the hair kind of naturally fall another pro tip for way to customize. This look is right at the hairline, you have a choice to either go away from the face or towards it. For my client, I did braid this front hairline away from the face just to create that beautiful backward face frame to ensure that these Beach weights air dry as natural as possible, don't be afraid to allow imperfections to exist in the braids anytime. You see a little bit of texture or a couple hairs that look out of place. This is actually a good thing, because it's going to help insure that the end result is totally natural. You

Rachel Morosky: FYI although her hair may be fine textured she has tons of it . Makes a difference

DieProphezeiung: First technique worked really well on my fine curly hair and lob. Thank you for this! Really comfy to sleep on. Great piece of advice, thanks!

Caroline Bonini: I love this! I didn’t know there were so many ways to air dry your hair!!

ahoward: I really appreciate this. I have fine hair and I hardly ever use a hair dryer. But I have an issue now that my hair is longer that my volume is really weak, and I get small tangles that are really unsightly because my hair lays flat. Thank you SO much, I will put these techniques to use for sure.

Theresa Guay: Love this!! Please do more videos for fine hair. Have a wonderful day!☺️

Elana A: I'm a dental hygienist. Thanks to COVID-19 I now have to wear a scrub cap (shower cap) all day at work. I'm going to shower and put my hair up like this for work and let it air dry under the cap. If I have to wear that ugly cap all day at least I'm gonna come home looking bomb.

Haylee Lorton: I love this video so much. It was exactly what I was looking for and I love and swear by all Kenra products ♥️

M K: Super helpful and well made video !

Ac Haley: This beautiful hairdresser is very talented...knows the feel of hair...pretty model too...good modern vid

Ivy Gray: I tried the second one and my hair looked different to her but still pretty cute

Olga ASMR: The best way to dry your hair if its thin is to blow dry them while having your head flipped over and afterwards brush them that way too. At first you're going to look like the lion king next and final step is to brush them like you normally do and you're done beautiful, full hair

jungefrau: Is fine hair a euphemism for thin hair? What's the difference?

Imperial Sparkles: I want to do the bun but I always end up with a ugly ponytail bump

heathhanz: Help! Do you need to wash these products out at night? to prevent breakage/health of scalp? I am trying to avoid washing every night

Rowan Newcomb: I have thin hair and when I let it sit dry with no product it makes my face look really bad

Barb Cole Tranquility Himalayans: Years ago I was told my hair is too thin and too fine to have long hair and it would break off at my shoulders. Is this likely to be true? I’ve been growing my hair since the beginning of Covid and it’s past my shoulders now but it still doesn’t look great. The ends of it don’t look good although I use conditioner

Athina Trachalaki: It will probably need hours to air dry though

Sarah K: This is so fake, I have almost the Same texture and can tell you, your hair will not look like this after these styles.

Nia Dergaliuk: I tried the braid style and it has nothing to do with beachy waves.... looking like a poudel ‍♀️

Jari Seri: What about for those who has fine and curly hair?

Manelyn Zacofsky: I bought this product yesterday from ulta & the air dry cream stinks!!

je ra: thanks for the video. where can i find that hair clip around 6:08?

NickiUn: I wouldn't do any product on my scalp. And would probably get allergies from the rest.

Kali: I do the first one every night OMG!!!!

Sa onwater: Please show how to get the O.C. hairstyle (Marissa Cooper, season 3; Misha Barton) without heat?! Thanks ;-)

Tracy: Does that texturized spray enhance frizz. That is what scares my with texturize sprays.

conwell conwell: What type of towel do you use for fine thin hair

Alec Bywater: Umm would this work for guys who have long hair with the same texture

Catherine Franks: Any tips without chemical hair products?

Lola Poente: Thank u so much dear

Diane Keane: Do Kenra products test on animals?

Adriana Das: Arganlife Shampoo is excellent shampoo. Leaves my hair soft and shiny. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend.

smelly: ke$ha twin

Suzanne Smith: Good info but the stylist's habit of dropping her voice and trailing off at the end of every other sentence is annoying and makes her difficult to hear.
