Big Braid Tutorial - How To Deal With Frizzy Hair

Today’s tutorial is a half up braid that I use to hide a frizzy blowdry. For more tips on dealing with frizz - head to http://www.hairromance.com/2017/08/dea....

Frizz happens. This style is perfect for a blow dry that I did myself that hasn’t quite worked out or on second or third day hair.

To distract from the frizz, I like big thick braid to take all the attention. No one will notice your frizzy hair and you’ll still get compliments on your great half up do.

Christina xx

Hi there I'm Christina from harem ants calm, and today's tutorial is how I deal with a blow dry. That'S looking a bit frizzy. Of course I add in a braid to take attention away from the rest of my hair. I normally don't brush my curls, but I love a boar bristle brush for waves and straight hair really helps to smooth my hair, add shine and paint and freeze. I like to leave some hair loose around my face and pick up a section for my Dutch braid at my part across the right under the middle and then the left under the right and then pick up a section of hair from the front and then repeat. Adding in a section of hair from the back to your braid, I like to add in larger sections for this braid, give it a little bit more impact, as I am called a braid back. I pick up a smaller section right under the braid so that I leave more hair hanging down over my ears and then once I pass my ears, I stop adding in hair from underneath and only add in hair from the top of my head. That'S really the frizzy layer of hair. I want to hide, but before ending the braid, I like to go back and stretch it out. This is where I pull it. The sides of my braid stretching it out and making my hair look a lot thicker. This is my favorite braiding trick that I love to do to hold the end of your braid use, a small elastic, and then you can go back and keep stretching out your braid. If it's not really big enough for you, I mean braids are never big enough for me and then I repeat, on the other side, picking up a section of hair by my part splitting it into three and I cross the left under the middle and then the Right under the left and on the next crust add in some hair, I'm already angling, this side of the braid back and adding in larger sections, so that I only had to do about three braid sections on each side for this braid. I already know where I wanted to meet with the other braid at the back, so I'm following that line so they'll meet together again, it's really important to stretch out your braid so that it matches the first one holding the end of the braid. I just pull up the sides and keep working it out and making it a little bit thicker next to combine the two braids I wrap one over the other and take the elastic from the first braid to join them. It'S at this point that you can make any final adjustments so that the braid sits flat and sits right for your hair. You can also keep stretching it out if you like, I mean, can never get braids big enough as a final step. You can cover your hair elastic with a piece of hair by wrapping it around and then take a bobby pin to pin that in place. Give the rest of your hairbrush to tame anymore fries. You can't really tell, but it was around 37 degrees. When I filmed this video, that's over 105 Fahrenheit, it was super hot. I really hope you like this braid and I really think it looks fantastic in curly. Hair too. Return Tosender: Thank you for this. The top layer of my hair is the frizziest!!!!! But it’s so thick that the part midway down near my shoulders it starts to knot n tangle. The struggle is real!!!

Idoia G.: I love this!!!

Rhett McNugget: Please respond quick!! I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow just like yours (I'm showing them a picture of you) what do I ask for!? (What do you ask for when getting it cut, and does your hair dresser specialize in curly hair?)

Maria Zimmermann: Reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen. Very beautiful!

Pallas: Back to school hair for me.

GarfieldLovesYoux3000: You call that frizz?
