I am not the greatest at using a traditional blow dryer and a round brush to give me a nice blow out look but this one step dryer was so easy to use. This was my first time using it and I got such great results. I was really blown away! My hair had those bombshell curls look with amazing volume and bounce to them.

My hair held the shape until I washed them next time. The volume went down a little but not all.

Hi guys welcome back to my channel so today, I'm gon na show you how to go from this to this, so I'm gon na be using my Revlon all-in-one dryer dupe for that I got from Amazon and it was such a good deal. It literally looks the exact same: it has the same settings. Everything just looks exactly the same to me, so we're gon na see how this works on my frizzy ass, hair cuz. Look how frizzy and curly my hair is. I'Ve already applied these two products that I have tested them out before and I really do think they work in combating frizziness. So I'm gon na section off my hair first and I'm gon na work from the bottom to top. So I'm going to section the bottom section: further, I'm gon na be saying section like a million times in this video and look at the size of this dryer, though it's like bigger than my head, so anyways, I'm gon na put it on the medium setting. First and I'm gon na start from the bottom just to see if there are any knocks or anything, and then I work my way up - and I heard this really great tip from a hairdresser that when they blow dry the hair, the first thing they do is They smooth out the section from all sides. So that's what I'm doing here, I'm literally running it through my hair from all sides of this section just to smooth it out, you're, not even doing anything like shaping or anything here. So you're, just smoothing the section out. Basically, so when I'm done, smoothing you'll see that the section is still gon na look a little frizzy like so so. This is where the shaping comes in, because when you shape you take the section from the top and drag it to the bottom, repeatedly roll it. Like this, and then you twirl it with your finger like so, and this basically combats all the frizziness and everything I don't think I did such a great job in this section, so we're gon na try again in the next one, because this was the first time I was actually using this dryer, so I'm gon na start off by smoothing this section from all sides, and then I'm gon na go in with the shaping shaping. Is the technique that's going to give you? That'S the lawn blowout bully my sponsee curl kind of look. So you cannot skip that part so, as you can see, I'm dragging the dryer from the top to bottom and then I'm just twirling it again and again, and I did it a little more on this section. So I get a bit more of that bounce. As you can see, it's much more volumize. I really really like this side much better. Now I'm going to be using this curly hair tie to tie off the bottom section because it doesn't cause any creasing or dents in the hair, because after all, this upward, that's exactly what I don't want. Then I'm gon na let go of the top section and I'm gon na divide it further. As you'll see this back section of my head actually always gets more frizzy than any other section, so this will be a true test. Let'S see if this dryer teams the frizz on this section as well, so I'm starting off by smoothing this section as before, and I'm just gon na speed this up, because I think you guys get it at this point and then I'm gon na start shaping and Of course, I'm doing it away from my face so make a note on the direction of how I'm twirling the dryer, because that's the shape it's going to take the section actually came out pretty well as well. It doesn't look crazy to me, so I think this dryer is doing pretty well, then I'm going to do the same sectioning on the other side of my head and I'm just gon na clip away the front sections. Also, when I'm smoothing out the hair section, I'm most of the times, I use the medium heat setting, just because I found that the high heat setting was actually pretty hot and I didn't want to damage my hair. So when I smooth out my hair, I use medium heat setting, but then, when I use the shaping technique, that's the only time I use high heat setting just to shape them properly and then get rid of the frizziness. But it only takes me a couple seconds to shape them, so I'm not really using the high heat setting for a long time. Now. I'M just clipping away the front sections of my hair that frame my face because I blow dried them differently and I'm just going to blow dry other sections like how I normally do by smoothing them first and then shaping them to get that swoop kind of the Shape to the Frank faces, I don't know if you've ever noticed that shape when salon hairdressers usually do the blow out it. Has this like s kind of shape or like a swoop kind of shape to it, so you basically bring your hair up and backwards. So when I smooth out the section I smooth out on both sides, but when I'm shaping them like so here, so you see, I'm actually dragging them up and backwards like away from my face. That'S what's gon na give you that s-shaped look to your bangs or just a piece of suffering your face. So this is it for the tutorial I'm just gon na take off the hair tie from the bottom section, and I was honestly completely blown away by the volume and the bounce that was in my hair. Just because I don't really strain or blow out my hair. Like this, because I'm trying to repair them, but oh my god, I'm oh, I loved this hair. So much and honestly, this hair I'm editing this video after a week, and it lasted me like three days. Of course, the volume kind of went down a little bit after the second day, but the shape and everything stayed throughout the whole time until I washed them the next time I was like seriously blown away, so I really think you guys should give this a try And if you do please, let me know in the comments section below how it worked out on your hair type, and I will see you next time.

Kathy Bolt: I know it’s been a year since you posted this! I just bought this hairdryer and watched your tutorial. I think it’s fantastic! I was really impressed! What I learned from you was to dry on all sides and how to do the S shape! My hair is very thick and long and has some natural curl. And, it has a tendency to be frizzy if I don’t straighten or dry it. Thank you for the help! You rock!

PS: Please do not buy the amazon fake. It gets much hotter and it’ll damage your hair. It’s not a “dupe” it’s a bootleg version - please be safe with your lovely hair guys
