In today's video I'll be sharing how I style my natural hair.This of course was right before I cut my hair short, but the same routine still applies to my current hair cut. This is my favorite hair routine because I don't use any heat and I can still achieve beautiful wavy hair.

Guys welcome to another video, so today's video I'm dedicating this one to all of my girls and guys out there who have curly or wavy hair. When I was a little girl, I really honestly hated my curly hair. I didn't know what to do with it. I remember in elementary and junior high, it was when it was the worst for me, especially when I was going through puberty at the age of 12 and the fact that I had my curly hair and it was so Brizzy and so big and unmanageable. And I don't know what to do with it. I was so unhappy with my hair and I remember every single day just hating my hair, I just didn't feel pretty with my curly hair, so I hated my hair, probably up until the point that I got to high school, maybe like my senior year now at This point in my life I am in the ninth grade and I still have not found the right products to tame at my frizzy hair. But what I did find was an alcohol-based hair spray and tons of mousse, and I would spray that on my hair and scrunch up my hair and it would be stiff as a rock and it was so not manageable. I feel so different now as an adult, because now I absolutely love the texture of my hair. I feel like it's beautiful. I can have so much versatility if I want to have it wavy. If I want to have it curly - and I'm just so happy that this is the hair that actually grows out of my head and it's all about just finding the right products to use so anyways, let's get started with the video, and I hope this video helps You out, I always like to begin this routine by applying a hair detangler. I then brush it out with a brush that was designed to use on wet hair, since this is when it's the most fragile. I can't live without the John Frieda. Frizz Ease air dry waves because the foam keeps my hair looking toss old, but it keeps it touchable that used to be an impossible combination. For me, back in the day, I have been on a search for a product. That'S going to keep my waves alive without having to work at it. I'M applying this foam from the root to the tip, while lightly scrunching the hair, to enhance the waves and then I'm just going to pull my hair up in a loose bun and just go to sleep and let the product work its magic overnight. While the hair dries naturally - and now, when I wake up in the morning, all I have to do is apply the secret weapon touch-up cream. This is the best finisher to keep my frizz under control. Now I'm just going to apply a small amount onto my hand and rub through my dry hair, concentrating most of it on my ends. This is going to calm and smooth my waist, but I love about John Frieda Frizz Ease. Is that not only do they have a breadth of treatments created specifically for my hair type, but the brand also has multiple options to achieve whatever style I desire either to define my curls or smooth my waves, or just to make my blowout really sleek and smooth Without feeling my hair crunchy and taking me back to my high school days, you guys enjoyed today's video. XtinaLucia: Hi dulce, if u comb it in the shower when the conditioner is in (I use my fingers) rinse and apply product after u get out WITHOUT combing it you're curls will stay intact and have less frizz. The curl pattern will look better.

0goodvibes0: I used John Frieda Frizz Ease curly mousse, payed about 7 bucks for it, and it was horrible! It created more frizz and didn't do anything for my wavy/curly hair. So I got a cheaper Garnier Fructis spray gel for curly hair and it worked so so much better.

July: omg! I also did the whole mousse and hairspray thing when I was in high school. My hair was super hard but I felt that was the only way I could control the frizz. So glad I don't do that anymore.

This will sound harsh but it was heat damaged...I love that you are loving your curly hair but I believe now you will love it more because your true pattern will show without damage. Phoenix Moon: I tried John F. products (both myself and my Mum bought them for me!) when I was in school to tame the frizz on my curly hair. I needed tons for anything to tame it, and even when I used a small amount my hair felt eugh from it. To this day I stay away from their leave-ins. I recently got given some John F. shampoo and conditioner by my Mum, and frankly I am dreading using it (either that eugh feeling, or reversing the progress made by my hair fairly drastically). My hair just prefers coconut oil (and avocado oil for extra non-greasy looking shine!), and we discuss whether my hair wants to be curly, wavy, or straight, naturally that day. If it is a special event, then I try to talk it round, and manually style it (no heat or tools, just how and where it is placed and then left whilst I get the rest of me ready).
Diana Nghiem: When I was little I had straight hair up until about 5th grade. My hair got curly and kids made fun of me because they thought I got my hair permed since my mom was a hairstylist. Let's be real, my mom would have never approved. Especially, when I was so young! I use to straighten my hair all the time but then I grew to love my curly hair but all the color damage made my hair frizzy and just wavy. Lost them pretty curls.

natturesilk: wow I used to use the frizz ease secret weapon but then I started using some curling mousse: tresemme along with surfer hair from garnier fructis and I dampened my hair a little and put it up on a cotton T-shirt (plop method) but I think ill try your method with the plop instead of a loose bun. thanks for sharing the video
