When your hair is frizzy and full of static, the last thing you want to do is brush it; unless, perhaps, you have the Braun Satin Hair Active Ion Brush ($65). It's supposed to smooth the unruliest of hair, so we decided to give it a whirl to see if it really does work. Check out the video to see what happened when we put it to the test.

Here we have bronze satin hairbrush, it is big in Europe will be big for your hair. We'Re gon na find out this brush promises to give you smoother shinier silky, your hair, with just the touch of a button kind of like robot brush 2011. Just turn it on and look it glows, it's green and in the back, it's letting out negative ions to smooth out your hair, but does it do what it promises to do we're gon na take these two balloons and static up my hair. Now that I look really good we're going to put this brush to the test on this side, let's not turn it on. Just do four brushes three four and now we're going to activate you know it's on because it gets all lit up and green. Do one two three for so what do you think highly informal office poll shows that, unfortunately, none of us could tell a hugely dramatic difference from one side and the other is this brush for you? Well, it depends if you have very high expectations and expect it to work magic, and you can have future gorgeous hair with the touch of a button. So you might be disappointed you get a little more shine and smoothness out of it and you're happy with that. Then it might be worth it for you, thanks for watching bubble sugar, TV and we'll see you next time.

Sherlyn Tolle: Rubbing ballons on your hair does not give you frizzy hair, it only puts a little static in your hair. Huge difference between a little static in your hair and frizzy hair.

Maple Tea: this woman does not have frizzy curly hair. Demo it on someone with genuine frizz.

Becca Hochanadel: I have a different version of this brush with the ionic thing on the front (why would they put it on the back) and it genuinely does work. You have to go super slow like as if your straitening your hair, and you have to brush it though quite a few times not just 4 times like they showed in the video. I just took a picture with half of my head brushed normal and half with the ionic I showed the picture to my boyfriend and my best friend and they both instantly guessed which side was the ionic brush. It’s not a huge difference but still noticeable

Superstitious Pyalicious: I have that, received it as a gift, and i had well.... laughable results. I used it, had absolutely no idea what it was supposed to do, but i used it anyway. Next days at school: Classmates laughing their butt off while hovering their hands above my head because my hair was floating everywhere. So yea, it did just the opposite for me lmfao. Stopped using it and my hair went back to normal.

Tricia Carrillo: Get someone with frizzy hair to begin with!!!

loriv77: It LOOKED like a good idea :) I'm glad I know about it now so I won't try to save up and get it! Thanks!

N l MALAK: I just ordered the brush off eBay, it was expensive to ship it to where I live. I wish I had seen this video before doing so :'(. I thought it will help with my helpless uncontrollable frizzy hair.

honey: I love ur reviews

Unknown: maybe get someone with actual frizzy hair.

Quellochetunonsei: You would have the same result with a regular brush, you don't have real frizzy hair

Faydiva: I wish I'd watched this before purchasing the brush! Want what I thought it was and ended up googling to see if I'd read the advertisement wrong. I hadn't misread it but it just doesn't have much effect. So disappointed!!

Lola Dia: Ions are a charged particle..what type of particle does it emit??

LadyD1979: I have an ionic iron to straighten my hair. the best is to combine with liquid queratine. it works wonders.

Angel Logic: Every video I've seen so far, none have curly hair

alex62891: Waste of money. But love the review!

trovey02: Ok, I won't buy it then and go on with my frizzy hair.

Jenny R: So did it work or not???

ispinintights: Oh God, brush from the bottom up so it doesn't make that awful sound, please.

Sabrina Pears: I love how it didnt work! :'D

Izlude Tingel: There are claims that this brush can be bought for 10 dollars.  Where can it be bought for that much, rather than 300 dollars on amazon or 99 on ebay?

Kelsey Marques: I bought it for 10

makayla campbell: what is this brush called

Lilian M: You didn't brush properly...

Kelsey Marques: I love it?

Larry Secor: Rip off ...I could show you some frizzy hair..my hair is horrible . I hope no one buys this.

BizarreAvenir: @SPassion2010 haha :D

Kelsey Marques: **!!
