I've seen this Flower hair curler all over social media and I was very intrigued what type of results I would get on my 'shorter' medium length hair. Honestly, I wasn't expecting a lot because they don't even recommend trying on 'shorter' hair. What is your favorite heatless curls or heatless waves method to do overnight?

Hello, my lovelies. Today I'm gon na play with or actually tonight I'm gon na play with this Flower Curl by Cordina Hair., Wake up with beautiful curls.. That'S why my hair is dampened.. I wan na see if I can create some heatless curls using this method right. Here., The only thing the only thing I'm concerned about it's meant for more medium to long hair.. My hair, some people would say this is medium, but I still think this is pretty short They're basically saying it's, the shortest is up to like the bra, strap or level to your armpit., But we'll see you know who knows. Maybe this is gon na work. Incredible for shorter hair, medium short shoulder length - hair., Probably not - but hopefully this will work. Honey. How much was this [ Andrey ]? I forgot, but it's from England.. We got this from the UK. They just shipped it.. The packaging is actually really cute right. [ Andrey ], Let's see what them English people can do. Lets see. Let'S do it. In the box. You get a pack of black bobby pins and then you get this right here. The device, the product, the curlier, the curler.. So right here at the center. You have this, I call this like a bun., It's like a spongy material where you can insert (, baby, babbling, ), bobby pins or any other kinds of hair products into it or hair tools., And then from the side. You have these rings that are made from this. They're, calling it handmade with silky satin.. So it's nice and gentle on the hair, as you sleep. And then this right here, what's attached to it literally looks like a bra strap., That's legit.! I wonder if it is like a bra strap., I feel like it is., That's cool. And then the back of the box. You get all of the instructions. I kinda like that.. You don't have any other papers on the inside.. All the information that you need is right, here. And then, if you need videos, they also have it online as well.. So right here is the minimum hair length and then the maximum hair length.. But you know what we're gon na: try it and see what happens. So first step. You have to create a ponytail and pick up well. (, baby babbling ). First up pick up your hair into a high pony tail. And I'm just using my Tangle, Teaser. Detangling brush to make sure all of my hair is up.. And then you take your ponytail. You stick your hair right into that center hole. And then you take a bobby pin to secure this flower crown or flower curler., Okay, taking all of this hair. And if you are working with damp hair, just be gentle on it or with it. Okay. Hair's through I'M gon na take the bobby pin that they provided and just take one or two and secure that center ring to my scalp. And now what they say is ,'' Section, hair evenly and spritz some water before wrapping to encourage longer lasting, curls., Okay. Well, my hair is damp, so I don't need to spritz extra water., So we're gon na divide the hair into four equal sections. And what you do is they say so basically just says, wrap around the ring and then just use a bobby pin to secure it.. So, let's start at the top, so I can see what I'm doing., So I'm just gon na pull it through and then just start wrapping it. [ Andrey ]. You get your curl, not a problem. Yeah, it's just not gon na be even and you're gon na get most of the curls towards the bottom, which I understand why they recommend you know for longer hair.. So they say to leave a little bit of your hair out and then take a bobby, pin and then kind of secure. I guess. Hold up lem me just make sure of what I'm doing. They're, basically saying the hair needs to lay flat against this okay. Like that., (, baby, blabbing, ) Lem me just take this hair., I'm just gon na secure it to the bun., But I think I might need to redo that.. I might need help with the bobby pins'cause. I can't see what I'm doing. Look at you stand., So you pinned it along Yeah. And then the second one I pinned to the hair. Hi. I pinned it on top and then we'll just pin this to your scalp.. It'S already just as much time as the other ones. Okay, so do it and you do it. ( baby blabbing, ), (, laughing ), Yeah daddy come on. ( laughing ). What is daddy doing up there? ( baby blabbing ) Daddy? What are you doing? Let me just finish it Daddy. What are you doing up there? This is tight. This one's tight., This one's not as tight. We're done. Ooh hold on.. You got my hair. Okay. Thanks, sweet boy., Okay, so it's in., (, baby, blabbing, ) Andrey helped me and the baby helped me. And honestly it wasn't so hard.. It'S just. I needed help in the very back, because my hair is a lot shorter than what they're advertising. And because I have shorter hair. I have layers just because the hair here is super short compared to the hair at the very top.. So I wanted to make sure all of the hair was wrapped around the ring, so we would get hopefully something even and something beautiful in the morning.. I'M going to try to attempt to keep this overnight., But because we had to use bobby pins to secure the rings to my head, I'm feeling them. And they're kind of they're not like tight, but because my hair is shorter. I needed it to be more secure.'Cause. I feel like if I didn't secure it as much. It was just gon na fall out. And that's probably why they don't recommend it for shorter hair.'Cause. It'S not gon na hold as well.. The results are not gon na be as great., But hopefully we get something. Pretty in the morning., Like I said, I'm gon na attempt to sleep in this. We'll see how that goes.. Let me give you guys a quick look of what it looks: like. Good morning.. I did not think I was gon na put makeup on for this video, but I had to because I have circles underneath my eyes and bags underneath my eyes and bags on my eyelids.. I honestly did not get 30 minutes of full stretch sleep.. What is that called [ Andrey ]? It'S called sleep. ( laughing ). What I meant to say is, I slept so bad with this on right. Here. Wow was this so uncomfortable.. The thing is: when I go to sleep, my hair is usually always down or in a braid or it's most of the time, always down.. It'S never up., And I just can't wait to take this out because it's so uncomfortable on my head. And people were saying it's supposed to be comfortable because it's not on your ears.. But the thing is it's: on the back of the head.: When you sleep it moves it shifts like it. Kinda moves with your head., So the only way I could get some kind of rest was sleeping on my stomach and sleeping like this on my arms. Without any pillow., I haven't had such a worst sleep since he was born. And it was not even his fault.. It was this fault, ( chuckling ), And they claim it was comfortable.. Yes, it claims that it's like comfortable to sleep in., No, it's not.. Unless I did something completely wrong, but just because my hair is not used to being up for so many hours., No very uncomfortable., (, baby, blabbing ) We're gon na take out these bobby pins and hopefully reveal something beautiful. Em. Are you trying to say something You're saying that you had a good night's rest Yeah you did. [ Andrey ] Yeah, you did.. He only woke up what once fed once and then he woke up at like literally nine o'clock, this morning. [ Andrey ], And then he slept some more.. Did he really [ Andrey ], Yeah., (, baby blabbing, ) Wow he's just like mama. He's not a morning. Person. [ Andrey ], Must be the milk. ( laughing ) Must be the milk. Okay. Let'S try to do. This. Hold up hold up. Lem me me, (, baby, blabbing ), I feel like I didn't get all of the Bobbi pins. Yep ( laughing ). I knew it. And there's still one more bobby, pin right: here.: Okay, babe you got this [ Andrey ] Yeah, I'm getting. Only one time to get this. [ Andrey ], One time. (, baby blabbing, ) Woo.. We actually created something. Ugh. ( laughing ). Okay, look at that.. Some of them are actually very beautiful, but I can totally see. And I understand why they recommend the shortest hair length to be at like armpit length. [ Andrey ]. Those curls are kind of tight. Yeah. [ Andrey ], Even for long hair. They would have been tight. Well even on her, like I dunno, if that's the owner, but the girl that demonstrates how to use this on their website. The curls come out really really tight and you can't really like brush it out just because if you do it ... Wow, this looks not great., I mean we did get something right.. We got something [ Andrey ], Yeah., but yeah. This was not worth sleeping in this thing right here at all. In my opinion for me and my head and my scalp, I am never doing this again at least overnight.. I'M definitely gon na keep this., Obviously ,'cause. It came from the UK and I'm not gon na ship it back, but I'm gon na keep this for when my hair grows out, if it ever does, if I ever let it get that long, but maybe I'll have you know somebody from my family, try it Out., If they have like super long hair and see if they like it., But for me personally, it was not worth the effort to sleep in., I'm exhausted. Like I have never had bags on my eyelids.. That'S how tired I am ( laughing ) And that's how much stress I had sleeping overnight with this on right here., But at least we got something like look at some of these curls. Those are so beautiful. You know, but it's very inconsistent, like you're, not gon na get a curl up here at all., Even in the videos that they were showing. There was no curl at the top of the head.. So it's very inconsistent looking and I feel like there are far better tools that create heatless curls on the market., For example, I'm gon na always say Wave Formers right Is that what they're called Wave formers and curl formers.? So if you want something like this, like a ringlet type, a lot tighter Curl Formers, if you want something a little bit more loose and wave-like Wave Formers, those are awesome. [ Andrey ], Those Japanese things.. Yes, the Japanese spiral curlers., Those are really cool., But I mean we definitely got something.. I think this might be good for people that already have, like, naturally curly hair [, Andrey ] Yeah. and see if they can make it a little bit more uniform.. Let'S say if some hair's a little more curly, some hair's a little more wavy like all the way around you know, but if you have naturally straight hair or naturally very very, very little waves like I do like this is not, I think, the best option for Us., I'm just so happy that at least the did something you know like this right here. Look how pretty that is. Right! That'S really pretty the curl part, not the actual hairstyle.. Just to me, my biggest thing is how it transitions into the hair., And it's just it's very inconsistent.. You know what I mean is just it doesn't look great.. I don't even really wanna fix it. Just because my hair, it just looks very frizzy. It'S not smooth - and this is just my own personal opinion. - And this is my experience. Like I said this is meant for people with a lot longer hair, but even on their website and just showcasing their hair. Most of the curl is in the length of the hair., Not at the roots, not at the crown, so I'm gon na leave it at that., But I do have a question. If you have tried this product right here. What were your results? Did it work better for you? How did you make it work better for you And please share your pictures with all of us. [ Andrey ]? Marianne Talbot: I do it right on top of my head and not the back. Works perfectly. Best heatless curls I've ever had. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine. I also use small dragon clips, one on each ring, instead of the bobby pins. Works much better.

Jo Meraki: I love the curls. I really think it's just your hair length. Longer hair will also wrap around more which might work to keep it more sturdy. Longer hair may also give more consistency in the curl.

Tamara Morton: I think this was so uncomfortable for you because you bobby pinned it down to your scalp. If you don't do this, they can freely float around and you don't have to feel anything when you're sleeping. I've had these for about six months and I really like them. My hair is a little bit below shoulderlength and I've taped paper towels around the rings in order to make them bigger because it just looks weird when my hair would be straight and then at the very end have these little kinky curls. I've toyed with the idea of putting larger plastic hair rollers on the rings. I'd have to cut them in order to snap it onto the ring but that sounds like a lot of trouble. I used them last night and slept very comfortably, woke up and it was great to have some curls. But my hair is longer. Oh, and I only used two of the rings. Two of them snapped off easily; they're designed like that.

SecretSquirrel1908: Tips: put it higher on your head, the front rings should be at the edge of your hairline. Don’t do it on damp hair. If you want looser curls, remove a ring or two.

MrsHopkins73: My curlformers give me the same type of results. It's straight til you get to half the length of the shaft. Maybe my hair is too long for them. The longer the curlformers are, the trickier they are for me. I also wish they came in wider widths, so I can pull more hair through without "jamming" them up. Tfs
