Yours Faithfully,

Ruby Golani

Hey guys, it's Ruby and welcome back to my channel, I hope you're all doing incredibly well now I do look a little different and I decided to start off with today's video showcasing for you guys, my natural hair. So this is my natural hair. I only shampooed and conditioned it. I didn't apply any products and I just allowed it to air dry, so I didn't pop a blow dry through it. This is how it is naturally, and you can see that, like the roots aren't very curly, but it kind of gets to a point where it just freezes out and probably the coolest part of my hair is like underneath underneath my head, like near the nape of Mine, so for my curly haired girls out there, this is a nightmare. If you're going to brush your curls, it's going to be frizz, but for me, when I brush out my curls, it's just easier for me to section my hair and straighten it. I actually don't know how to blow-dry my hair straight. I cannot for the life of me, coordinate my arms. I don't know I get tangled in my own hands. It just doesn't work, so I literally go from this to my flat iron. So I'm just going to start brushing it out slowly and you can see just how frizzy it's going to get I'm just using a regular like a tangle teezer. I find that these are very gentle on my hair and they're easy to hold this one is by the bitty exchange, I'm just gon na brush it out, and this is why people with curly hair don't actually brush their hair, all that much after God. So now that I look like I've come out of some sort of native tribe from somewhere, I'm just going to search in my hair from my ears and I'm going to tie this top hat up in a bun. So it's out of the way so from there, because I still have too much hair. I'Ve got a lot of hair, my hair's really thick and coarse. I'Ve got a section that bottom half again and usually I get a bobby pin for this or a clip. I'M not very organized for this video, sorry guys, but is literally how I do my hair and then I section this bottom half, because my hair is still thick yet again in like four pieces, so I'll brush it and then I'll section it off I'll. Put one piece of hair like one section of hair towards the front another towards the front and then I'll section these two back pieces and start straightening. I just want to put it out there that I'm not being sponsored to feature any hot tools or any products. So the first hair straightener that I've used is obviously by GHD. This one has lasted me eight years. I purchased this particular hair straightener eight years ago. If you are looking for a hair straightener that will last you a really long time. The only negative to it is because it's old, it's just got the old plate technology, so it doesn't feel as smooth as the new ones do. The hair straightener that I currently reach for is by cloud9. This gets up to, I think 230 degrees. Don'T quote me on that: it has a heat setting of 100 150 200 and high I'm guessing high is like 250 230. I don't know, leave that in the description box somewhere or on Instagram or something, but this feels really really like smooth through the hair. It'S really good at creating drew HD curls because it gets passed 200 degrees. I can really get sleek straight hair with this, so I'm gon na just turn it on right now. Can you hack it in and turn it on? It'S like tangled with my gh in court. There we go so the curl is parts of my hair are right around the base of my neck and around my ears, so I actually spend quite some time making sure that this area doesn't have any curly bits. Any frizzy bits it's very noticeable, especially when you pop your hair up. You can see like little curly pieces around the base of your neck and around your ears, so it's really important that you get them. I just finger comb, the hair. You can use a brush if you like, so this is a third section that I'm doing I start off. By doing I started by turning my head to the right and straightening my hair, because the section is on my right. I then turn my head to the left and start straightening it now. I should be using heat protectant, but I packed it with me on my trip to vamp with Priceline, and then I just lost it. I think I just left it at the hotel or something so I currently don't have a heat protector. I mean my shampoo and conditioner do enough for me all right now, I'm going to take that second half down just going to start doing the same, dividing it into four sections and always make sure that I do the root area really really well, but have any Annoying curly bits is this: satisfying to watch like seeing the curly hair being straighten out turn into nice sleek straight hair. I find it so satisfying. That'S what I like to watch. I love watching like curly, hair blow dry it out and then flat iron. So it's nice and smooth, it's just so satisfying. So when it comes to the top part of my hair, I will take my finger and just part this side of my hair and try the rest back up and then I'm just going to do. I usually divide this side piece into three sections, there's a lot of dividing in this video because I do have coarse hair. Ah love! It love, love, love, love, love, it Jew is. Maybe I should turn around. So I take a section like this from the back. Always start by taking a section from the back and as you can see, by just putting my hair in a bun, it's kind of relaxed the frizz a little bit like the whole straightening process, much easier guys, like my highlight it's the bomb, their illuminator. So now I just divide that in half place the loose section of hair towards the front of my head and then I start straightening this out, okay, I then tie my hair in a very loose low ponytail. So that way my hair can cool. It will give it a little bit of a kink, but I don't mind because it just kind of gives it a little bit of a a little bit of a wave, sometimes even not my hair. That'S if I can't find my hair elastic. It'S like I flung it somewhere over there. I bet you any money that my hairdresser Bonnie is watching this video and shaking his head. I know what some people are going to say in the comments right now and they're going to say that I'm torturing my hair, it's too much heat, I'm running my flat. I threw it far too much. I'Ve got really strong, coarse, thick hair. I'Ve been doing this since I was about 14 years old. I go for haircuts every five weeks when it should be around six to eight weeks. I always put a hair mask in my hair, I'm always making sure I'm using really good shampoos and conditioners. So I'm constantly nourishing my hair. If you do have finer hair, then you most likely will see some damage to your hair. But for me my hair can tolerate it and most people with curly hair, who have very coarse curly hair. The hair can actually withstand a lot more than people with fine out straighter hair, so thought I should just put that out there um. What I usually do now is go over my hair with a shine spray. I have this one. It'S my models, prefer it's called the MP credit gloss spray, and this smells absolutely amazing, and even though my hair is straight, I can still get a little bit of volume through it, but I will spray a little bit of my Pantene dry shampoo through it. Just so I can get a bit more volume, especially through this crown area, so I'm just going to go, get that and I'll be right back. So I literally just section off pieces of hair around my crown spray that in and I just massage and this one is the Pantene pro-v dry, shampoo volume booster. This is the one that has the blue labeling, there's one, which is a normal one, that has green labeling, but you want to look out for the one with the blue, because this actually adds more volume to the hair. So I will either part my hair in the center or I will do a deep side part, a very messy kind of like tousled, deep side part, and through this section I will just pop some dry shampoo through screw sea salt sprays. Honestly, this would give me really good texture as well. If you want some extra texture doing here, especially if you have finer hair, this will look amazing, hair done. This is what I do to style my hair every day every week. This is how I do my hair when you see photos on my Instagram or when I'm filming chit chat type videos. So, ah, as you can see, I feel like myself again with straight hair and my side part so yeah. I really hope you enjoyed today's video. If you guys enjoyed this tutorial, then don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up. If you haven't joined the family already, I will leave a giant subscribe button down below on the screen, so you can hit subscribe and you'll, never miss a video from me again. Thank you. So much for watching and I'll see you all in my next video bye rude. Thank you.

Lanies Alonzo: I have the same texture and do this same process. Lately I've been doing the blow dryer, still learning how to use it. I find that the heat from the dryer will not damage the hair as badly as the iron. My hair literally went from super course curly hair to thin hair with lifeless curls. Wish I knew how damaging an iron could be.

Bronte Seil: This is the most honest representation on YouTube about the daily struggle of a curly haired girls life! Finally someone has had the balls to make this video, I'm so sick of seeing ladies w/ slightly waved hair saying "this is why you don't brush CURLY hair" when they have no idea!!!!!!!!! Love this vid, probably my fav from you so far ❤️

Tatiana: Your natural hair is gorgeous. If you used certain products through it I think you'd love wearing it natural because it truly is really pretty.

CM: i absolutely love your natural hair structure you should wear it curly more often

punkpearl: My hair is very similar to yours, I feel your pain! However, no matter how straight I get it with a flat iron, as soon as I walk out of the door it goes back to being frizzy and curly, especially on nights out with the humidity of clubs and bars. Do you have tips to make your hair stay straight?xx

Julia Lamounier: WOOOW, I absolutely loved your curly hair!!! Please use it more like this

Marie Mata: We're in the same boat! My grandmother would always complain to my mother that I never brushed my hair (unlike my cousin who has pin straight hair and lived with a brush in her hand) and I kept telling them that I couldn't brush my hair. After 16 years of her complaining, I sat both of them down, brushed my hair thoroughly. That following Christmas, my grandmother gifted me an afro hair pick.

Muaj: Omg your natural hair is gorgeous! Never expected it to be so curly . I'm the same with you though, my hair is superrrr thick and super strong, and frizzy but not really curly if that makes sense. But omg my life changed when I saw Marc Azzi in Macquarie Park, and had the Pure Brazillian Blowout. Honestly it was the BEST thing I've ever done!!! It's a similar concept to keratin, but better, there are no harsh chemicals, you can use it while you're pregnant, and you can wash it immediately if you like! Please check it out, it has honestly been the best thing ever for reducing the amount of frizz in my hair and made it so much more manageable

Averil T.: How have I not known your natural hair was so springy and huge! I admire the time and effort you spend straigtening it out!

April Morris: Your natural hair is beautiful!! It looks amazing. You do an amazing job straightening it though. Xx

Soul Influence: You have beautiful curls and they suit your face. Embrace them.

Laura Scrimgeour: I have curly hair but goes like a frizz bomb - can't be bothered with the drama with my hair so usually throw it up, and u have put me in the mood to actually go and straighten my hair xxx

Roxanna: my hair is EXACTLY the same naturally.. loved watching this.

Eight Acres: Actually I find its the other way around!! Even though curly hair may seem stronger because it often appears thicker and whatnot, its actually a lot more dry and brittle and thats why curly hair care has been gaining a lot of attention!! pls curlies out there take care of ya locks:)

Esperanza Eversley: Love this! I have similar hair. Great video

saffs001: I honestly would do anything for curly hair like yours, embrace and go natural!!!!!!!! Use the right natural products that your curls will thank you for and the frizz will be tamed, I love your natural hair!

Anggy Nurlina: my hair is just like yours, i have a lot and thick hair at the same time. I stop using heat protector before straighten my hair for 2 weeks now and my hair is actually taking it just fine, and the volume on my hair last longer without using a heat protector but of course i use some serum on my hair after i straighten it. Nice video Ruby, i never thought we have the same type of hair ^^

S S: Your curly hair is gorgeous! I love it. Just put some product to tame the frizz and you are good to go

Lamis Suliman: I suggest using a narrow comb while straightening with the heat, it makes it faster, easier and more like a natural straight hair :) XO

Helena Persson: I have naturally straight hair so I never have to straighten mine.. But I love watching others doing it

SUNNYFOREVA: HAHAHAHHA I have the same exact curly hair as you and I live in straight hair ! I do not feel myself with curly hair and omg ppl always tell me but your curly hair is sooo nice too They forget it's how WE feel our best :)

Ave: I have your exact hair type but thicker, believe it or not, so thank you for this I'm definitely gonna try separating it like that

Charlotte Clementine: I would have never guessed you have curly hair! I do too, so I know the struggle and how annoying it is when ppl say "why don't you keep your natural curls it's so pretty etc...'. It's your hair, do what you want. Also, with a middle part your hair is very Madonna circa "Nothing really matters", i love it.

MsNeonShadows: Like you said, we all want what we don't have haha! I would kill for curly hair instead of my wavy straight one. Oh, and yes its VERY satisfying to watch someone straighten their hair lol.

betyl: I never was more wrong on YouTube than your hair structure in years. :D How can you manage that omg, that requires serious skills. my hair is naturally straight, I couldn't even straighten it a bit more when it was the trend.

Andromeda Prince Cj: Your hair came out gorgeous.❤️

Tamara T: I know you probably get very frustrated with your hair, but I would kill for it! So thick and pretty. I have about as much hair as you when it's sectioned into thirds. Self esteem killer for sure

10myrsgr: How often do you wash and straighten your hair? I have curly hair too but my problem is that after two days of straightening it, the roots get oily so I feel like it's not worth the effort. I know you work out a lot, so how do you keep your scalp from sweating and making your hair greasy?

soo_cho: You look great even with your natural hair! Wow

Allison: I think your natural hair is so beautiful!!

DTH: I have pretty much the exact same hair as you but I never wear it natural. I hate my curly hair but I love yours! I think you really suite it. I've been trying to wear my hair more natural lately though

Ashley Alvarez: im so happy you made this video. I couldn't find anyone with my same hair texture!

Emanuella Johnson: I had no idea your hair so curly! I love curly hair but, I was wondering how come your hair was so thick and shiny and gorgeous all the time.

Larissa Siegel: Great video, Ruby! :) I have been wondering since you have mentioned in a previous video that you have been gone back to your studies. What exactly are you studying and how do you make sure to do enough for it next do doing YouTube? I am curious since I do study and work in a part- time job and it is sometimes not easy to manage both. Lots of love from Germany! :*

3wi sha: How is this frizzy....it's just curly. My hair is a lot tighter and curlier and I still don't classify it as frizzy. Your curls are beautiful. It's fine to straighten your hair whenever you want but embrace your curls. It's just sad to always hear negative remarks like "frizzy" when it comes to curly hair.

PollyMamedePsi: I really like your curly hair better, I have quite the same hair, but my curls are bigger and loser, but I like them natural now, and the curly hair (with pomade) suits your face so much, leave you with a very unique beauty.

Esperanza Eversley: A tip you could try is brushing out your hair with a brush that has boar bristles before flat ironing. I find that it makes my hair much smoother and shinier when I straighten my hair because it distributes the natural hair oils from your scalp to the rest of your hair.

Kay F: i love the color of your hair! it goes so well with ur skintone!! stunning

Rin Beanz: Beautiful results!!!, one suggestion though, I see u finger detangling your hair while straightening it, try using a brush or rat tail comb instead, gives sleek results and easier to manage as well..that way You won't be passing over your hair as much with the flat iron

jts: I have similar hair, and noticed you brush your hair from the scalp then to the ends, that is making it more frizzy. Always brush hair from thr the bottom first and mobe up, that will lessen the frizz.

lexi lou: damn you look good in the thumbnail where your hair is curly! really good look and brings out your eyes and face shape more.

G G: For everyone telling her to embrace her curls, some people just like their curls being straightened, there's nothing wrong with that. I have the same hair type as her and there's nothing more annoying than having people shove down your throat to "embrace it"

Tiff Saud: So gorgeous ❤️

Chan: The struggle of having curly hair. My hair is probably twice as curly as yours so I definitely know the struggle lol

Cristina P.: your natural hair!!!!! <3 soooooo pretty!!!!! you look beautiful both ways, but your natural hair is sooooooo pretty!<3

melanieaumann: Pretty jealous of your thick hair! my whole head of hair amounts to the very first section you straitened :(

loveofwonder: Do you ever wear your hair in its natural state? not air died without products, but with a leave in conditioner and styler like gel, mousse, or cream. I'd be curious to see. looks like your natural curls can be so pretty!

ambertrucha: Omg! Totally understand this hair situation! Is annoying, tanks for the video! And I have a question, how many times in a week you wash your hair? I mean how is your routine in a complete week to keep your hair like that

Anna JD: i love your natural hair!!♡♡♡♡

theEarthChildx: aw i love your natural hair. thanks for this haha

Tamara T: What shampoo and conditioners do you recommend with good ingredients?

Sophie A.: I straighten my hair every day, and it super dry and I have splitted ends from not using heat protector, do you find that the heat protection really keeps it from splitting?

Madeline Texas: I myself have thick frizzy hair I'm always cutting like about every four to five weeks just so I can rush the straightening process because it takes forever & sadly I don't like my hair naturally dry I gotta have it straight people always assume my natural hair is straight NOT

Julie: Gorgeous !

Kathryn Koenig: OMG I love your natural hair

Street Chic: Please do a curly hair routine

Maleka siddiqua: How do u straight it so perfectly?!

Jennifer Clark: don't apologize for your hair... it's beautiful

Elainehaselan: By using dry shampoo after cleansing your hair does it extend the time between washes? When I use dry shampoo my hair has so much static. How do I stop this? I think I need a different dry shampoo. I am using Not my Mother's. Has anyone tried it?

Alla Ostapovich: you should wear your hair curly, it looks so gorgeous!!!!!

Jocelyn: I love your hair OMG super gorgeous ✨

Zoe's Movie Corner: ya'll make me laugh when ya'll say "my hair is sooo curly" when its just slightly curly or something, makes me laugh when ya'll say its unmanageable or something.

Karen L: Thank you for a fab video! And..your eyes are mesmerizing and you are sooo beautiful. I'm going to see if you have makeup tutorials.

eely: If I didn't have a heat protector I wouldn't even go near my hair with straighteners

Street Chic: I love your haircolor! Do you dye it?

Chaterina Kurnia Permatasari: really like your video, because your hair is the same as mine...so this is so helpfull video, thanks

DominosAndHearts: Wow i didn't realise how curly your hair is! Its beautiful

Illya Rose: I've been through about 4 ghd's they're great and all but i always manage to step on them in heels... you'd assume id learn from the first or second time but no lol

Caroline Sarwar: With straight hair you really remind me of Chloe Morello x

Rajeshwari Ashar: Yes it indeed IS satisfying to watch. that's why I'm here

Samantha: If only this video was made when I was in high school... my hair was a lion's mane back then lmao

letslurkbec: Your natural hair is lovely but if you really hate it and straighten it every week, you might as well look into permanent hair straightening or a braz blow out

Sumera Lakhani: Gosh you are truly stunning! Ruby have you tried a heated hair brush dryer?? There are so many brands out there like conair and revlon...my hair is ridiculously coarse n curly like you n I look a different person before after lol so to blow dry I section n lay down my hair dryer n boar bristle round brush n kneel down n blow dry my hair bc I can't use again dryer n brush at the same time :)

marakicious: I feel u girl....same hair

Rian Muftah: that's my life everytime I take a bath ecept that my hair is very thin

leila bryce: Easy way to dry hair straight tip head upside down put dryer on it and brush through hair at same time that how l do and I'm lazy lol xx

Sofia Farissi: j aime ta spontanéité love love youuuu

cico941: Does it last for more than a night? For me I straighten it every morning because it gets kinky when I wake up! Any advice?

عبير صالح: I love this video

caitlin: Ruby! How do you get it to stay straight!? My hair is finer and straighter but it WILL NOT STAY!!

Marlene Berganza: how often do you wash your hair?

Maheen A: What is your ethnicity? And the native tribe comment felt a little weird/rude tbh.

Anime Forever: I love your hair both ways

Angela L: How many days a week do you wash your hair? It's so shiny

tracy will: ur hair is so pretty

human: FUCK YOU'RE SO PRETTY AND YOUR HAIR COLOUR IS TO DIE FOR YOUR EYES ARE STUNNING TOO <3

Brownbeautysimor: This is Fabulous , loved d video and love uuu

Ohime Lilith: You are bit similar to Megan Fox btw gorgeous hair

Clarissa Satta: <3

porsha mcdaniels: You should wear your hair curly!

الجوهره السبيعي: I like you , you are very cute and nice like you are

Chris Wallace: Just use products for curly hair. Why straighten it? It looks better curly.

BabyHols777: wait what I thought ur hair was naturally dead straight

sofie sofie: Permanent Curls?

Rosemary Hazen: you look so much like madonna.

gilmaria souza dos santos:

Hayley Munn: anyone else thinking she looks a lot like Rey from the force awakens?

Kreszentia Lynne Petroff: I honestly way prefer your hair this way.

Brooke Mcpherson: in a way you kinda look like Megan fox lol

Sarah Sands: excuse me?! did you seriously just say that native people have crazy frizzy hair?! 1:40 - 1:43 oh my gosh WATCH YOUR MOUTH WTF THAT WAS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY
