Isn'T it annoying that the front of your hair can sometimes be the messiest and your baby hairs just aren't laid yep? That'S right! I guess you don't have to care, but you should boo. Sometimes baby hairs just make all the difference to your hairstyle and sometimes were tempted and think yeah. I know how to lay my edges and pull out the straightness stop right there. That'S where we're wrong. Okay, unless you want to burn your hair off, I suggest we put those down slowly, you're thinking what could possibly tame the front of my hair without straightness or gel. Well, this conditioner. This is what I use to lay my baby hair and I've tried a lot of conditioners for this technique, but this one seems to work the best love it. The reason I use conditioner is because it makes my hair soft and it doesn't break my hair. And what more could you ask for avoiding damage to your hair? What you will need is a comb, a small, thin comb with thin little, what they call bristles whatever. Then you want them to be thin, not a wide toothed comb. Okay, you also need a soft brush. Okay with bristles that you know are close together because that's what's going to stick down your hair and the hair band. So before I start, I just want to show you close up what my baby hairs look like at the moment, real messy and just not not cute so step what you're going to want to part your hair down the center, make it pretty straight. It doesn't have to be perfect. I always find that a new partner in works better doing this technique, because the hair is even leave sectioned and then just comb, your hair through. So there's no tangles, no knots. We want it to be as smooth as possible smooth it all. The way down, including your baby, has don't really worry about the back. That'S not important, then you're going to grab your Z, moist and just squeeze a little bit into your fingers. Distance II of this is perfect because it's watery, so you don't want to use a thick conditioner or a creamy conditioner, because it will just make your hair greasy. This works perfectly. I was going to put it evenly on both sides. Okay again get your comb and smooth this down brush it through. You don't want no bumps, no lumps okay brush it through get it thin, get it slick. Now the important bit the soft brush slick, your hair down completely. I don't want to see any lumps or any waves. This needs to be so slick and tight, otherwise you're not going to get the result. This is how it should look, then you're going to get your hairband and you're going to tie it very tight and just slick up whatever you need to slick up to get your hair straight and tie it as tight. As you can really tight, you don't want it to be loose. Otherwise, it's not going to work so just get your hands and just Pat it all down and smooth it all done with your hands. Okay, if you feel like this, some bits that you can clean up clean up so now, all you got to do is let your hair dry, so let it dry do what you need to do. Usually, I will do this while I'm doing my makeup so yeah today, I'm just on my phone, showing you some fruit bowls. So I'm a speed. This up, pan I'll, be back with you in a minute. Okay and let's try now you're just going to take out your hair tie and get your comb now just get your comb and glide it gently through your hair, brush out all the stiffness and look how that look at that guys. Look how smooth that is! Is soft? There'S no white bits not like gel simple pull out your baby hair check it for yourself. Okay, once you've done that, just pick back all the longest bits and leave the shortest bits out, that's how you can detect, which ones are your baby has so now, I'm just showing you my side, part. This is the usual hairstyle I'll have and I'll show you how I lay them. So all I'm really doing is a sweeping motion with the brush and I just pull out the shortest bits of the front of my hair. That makes sense, and I just sweep - I always do the baby hairs. Next to my ear, like that's too cute, okay, chillest off go crazy. I prefer this technique because I think that it makes your baby has looks so natural and just like you haven't, really tried. You know, but yeah guys, that's how I do it. That'S how I lay my edges. I do this every single time every morning I will do this technique and it's so quick, effective and my edges is laid okay, so simple, creative and good for your hair. So try it if you like this comment down below. Let me know like this: video subscribe and yeah. If you try it tag me, I want to see so thanks for watching and I'll see you my next video bye, what you

sarah jamal: 3 years later.....im so happy i found this video really helped

Cady Mattson: I have 3a/3b hair and this worked sooooo well! I'm so happy! Usually, my hair is crusty or too gelled down because even though it's curly it's also soft. I prefer a natural look, so this was perfect! <3

nicolle akua: I really love this tutorial, it's so personal and informal like she's really talking to me , must give this a try☺️

Anuradha Verma: OKAY THIS IS THE ONLY HEATLESS TECHNIQUE I'VE EVER USED THAT ACTUALLY HELPS ME LOOK NEATER AND HELPS ME MANAGE MY BABY HAIRS THAT KEEP FLOWING OFF. THANK YOU! ❤️

lelechim: Your baby hairs look so soft :) Mine don't usually want to lay down, and it makes me look bald when I wear my hair up! Until recently, I never really used conditioner on my baby hairs, since I have oily roots, but I've found that conditioning the baby hairs in the shower or using a little oil on them before they dry makes them they lay down better.

Dulguun Khaltar: I'm so glad I found this video before I ran out and bought bunch of gels product. Love the simplicity of it. Thanks girl! <3

Kairo Toys Review: Yaaas love it! I've trying to find a way to lay my edges without gel!

CurrlyFox Animations: This helped so much thank you! My baby hairs just stood up on end before using this

lauren torres: I have been looking for a way to handle my front baby hair for so long...I already use this conditioner so im so excited to try it....thank you ❤️

Melissa Hayes: Definitely going to try this. Thanks so much for the help!! :)

Dainá: FINALLY you've made the video so now I can just direct people here lol. I've been using aussie moist conditioner ever since martika told me about it, I dont do the ponytail method I literally just use the aussie as a replacement for gel or edge control and it WORKS on my curly hair AND when i straighten it so try it before ruling it out! I was skeptical to because my hair is 3c/4a but it works boo boo

Aquila Danique: Omggg, thank you sooo much for this tutorial, I have straight hair but my baby hairs are reallyyy curly. I put my hair always in a ponytail but my baby hairs are going all over the places so I put a lot of hairspray in it but that’s really bad for my hair and it makes it very dry now I finally found a way to straighten them in a natural way thank you soo much

The Creater: Thank You; I needed this video. I tried it And Love it!

karenhippygirl: Thank you, can’t wait to try this! I know it will help.

Ari Chanel: I have been using motion moisturizer for maybe a year and a 1/2 now it works perfectly fine with my hair oh and thanks for the tutorial ☺️

calidreamgirl: I seriously have never thought of my baby hair as a thing until now

Ashley San: 1:40 for the impatient souls

Krs Trois: Love this! Thanks!

MartikaLAOfficial: Hey Ladies! Just want to to put out there that my hair is NATURALLY CURLY. I have medium tight curls, my hair is not naturally wavy. I blow dry and straighten my hair. So YES this will work if you have CURLY hair! My hair is very soft, yes but it is very curly too lol. Just try the technique out before saying it won't work for you. YOU MAY BE SURPRISED! xxx

Isel Gomez: Love the fact that when she said to put the straightener down, I had just finished straightening my baby hairs

Arhea Martin: I needed this video because my hair is not like others and my baby hairs are so long. This is literally the perfect tutorial just I wished you showed a cute way to style the baby hairs, with cute curls or something. But still amazing!!

gmlaster: This looks awesome. Wish my hair worked like that, but it definitely doesn’t.

Jenna: Hey girl, I know it’s like 4 yrs later but I was wondering if you’d post an updated video of what conditioner from Aussie moist you use exactly? I think they’ve switched up the packaging / labelling so I don’t know which one I should purchase ❤️ Love your channel btw

idrather. goblind: Love it!

nothingg: I use a lot of cantu leave in conditioner repair cream to lay my baby hairs! It really works

mouza alw: THANK YOU ILL TRY THIS! i always struggle with my baby hair !!!

Rachel P4: White girl here and you helped my frizz! Thank you

Hania R: I used to wax my hairline now I embrace the baby hair!

Monique Martin: I’ve been looking for this for forever. I have 2b (so not much but still a wave!) curl on my head but my baby hairs are like... 3a/3b (my mom and brother are both 3b’s). I’m tired of them looking crazy. I stopped straightening except for special occasions and I’m going to try this and see if I can tame these babies. Thanks!

Zoe S: Wow. Love this. Thanks! I was wondering though... Does your hair ever feel like it has residue throughout the day after using the conditioner?

Mariam Hassan: omfg your contour and highlight tho.. slayyyyyy!this is my first time watching you and I love you already

Janaeya Joubert: This does work for curly hair as well, you would have to put a satin scarf over your edges and let it dry. I have 3c hair and it works just fine

Perla Rodriguez: Omg this is so great. I am about to try this for real. I have finer hair around my face and with the gels it's just a little too much.

Toni Shipp: Sometimes I hate my baby hairs especially when I get makeup all in them lol! Great video

Becci Brabson: love this advice...my daughter is 7 and has curly hair and lots of baby hair. they are around her entire hair line. any advice on what to do with the ones across her forehead because there's just so many, like mini bangs

CALESTA D. SMITH: Great idea! I like it.

ProphetessOctavia: this is good if you want flexible baby hairs instead of stuff hair , also use setting wrap mouse ,like you would for pixie cuts , and comb through it would be soft!(:

Mari CatLover: Legal! Boa dica!

Saneeta: Love it! You're so gorge

Crystal Mendoza: Omg! This is genius!!

Green Tea: Okay, great video on laying baby hairs But I actually can't understand why you are so impossibly pretty like what??? Like why do you have such a perfect face honestly

DecemberKiki: Great tip. Will def look to try this one.

C K: I’ve never left deep conditioner in my hair without washing. If done for a long time, can it cause irritation on your scalp?

aoife: Hey! Just curious as to whether or not this hair conditioning works for all hair types. My hair is not very thick so further insight on this brand would help so so much o:

Tori Gross: I have to comment because like I have normal decently wavy hair but for some reason all of the hair surrounding my face is curly and frizzy af I have tried EVERYTHING to fix them and nothing but straightening works except this and obviously this doesn't damage hair so thank you soooo much!!!

Kimberly G: Ohh my god . i finally found the solution for my curly baby hair

S R: Hope this will work on my hair without making it greasy, my baby hairs are a frizzy mess and make it look like I don't do my hair

Kaylllay: You’re so gorgeous ❣️

Bakaneko: Was just bobby pinning my hair our of my face and I saw the baby hairs- Idk if my hair was supposed to work this way but the baby hair is like lining up perfectly at the roots.

DecemberKiki: Hi, is this an actual leave in conditioner? So I know what to look for in the shop. Xx

ozioma: Great method!! But if you scratch or play with your hair you could get white flakes, especially with tight curls

That’s Her Clothing: You know damn well your baby hairs wasn't looking messy

jazzy bean: For everyone with curly/kinky hair, use a scarf to lay it down more..

Elisa Benaggoune: You just gained a new subscriber babe x

JeanethsWorld: loved your video!!! fuck the haters i liked your video out of all the ones i seen and now im subscribing your gorgggouss

samantha333 Ben: COOL !! WILL TRY IT WHEN I LL GET THE SOFT BRUSH THANKS

Rodya Pink: Sometimes when i use conditioner it leaves white things like dandruf even if i aded a little bit it also doesnt last long at the middle of the day my baby hairs go crazy even tho my hair is 2b & 2c type ‍♀️

Chintana Philavanh-Owens: So cute. Love you!!!

Simply_ Me: You should tie a scarf around ur head while you let it dry, it would come out even smoother

SolelyVanessa: This was definitely interesting. :)

sabila banu: Shall we use loreal conditioner ?

Heather Pantin-Pasciucco: Love....thank you.

Warda A.: that method would work with any other conditioner so i suggest buying cruelty free ones ladies :)

felix: oh my god my whole life i just never even had my hair in a ponytail cause i hated my baby hair and i thought i would jst hav to live forever with my hair down but now youve opened my eyes and wow.. wow i jst thought ppl were born with nice edges and shit but !!!! no!! i was just dumb

hiitsmeeeeeeeeeee: unfortunately for me if i put any type if water based products on my edges they curl/coil up instantly, even with gel but i'll try it . And do you think that Aussie moist is the same consistency in the us because i know sometimes the same products can be different depending on the products.
