Hey guys, it's Jordan, I just kind of wanted to give you guys some tips on how I've learned to cope with and manage my hair. I used to hate my hair so much, but I've just like learned on how I've learned how to deal with it and now I'm growing to like it more so I just want to tell you my tips and tricks on how to deal with curly frizzy, whatever This is hair and um. Let'S just get started so tip number one is that curly, hair or frizzy hair is generally a lot more fragile than other types of hair. Make sure you just use really good conditioners, leave-in conditioners, hair masks and just really good shampoos. So I changed up my shampoo and conditioner pretty often, but I'm just going to show you what I recently got. I got these 180 Pro intense reconstruction boom conditioner and I've been liking them so far, I'm only like halfway through the bottle. I also got this 180 Pro Miracle repair damage. Eliminator make sure it says it has protein, because you want to restore protein in your hair, especially if it's curly or frizzy, and my favorite hair mask treatment is olaplex. I'Ve already talked about this in another video and how much I love it. This is just the third step and you just apply this in your hair once it's when it's damp and it makes your hair so much stronger and really has so much protein in this. So tip number two is that, as you probably have noticed, your hair won't look like that straight slicked, straight hair. You know, like you, work out a little bit and like some like hair just comes down, but it like still looks cute and I put my hands by the ponytail everyday for cheer when I was still in cheer and I feel like these little hairs coming down. I'M like, oh, maybe they look cute too because see what else around me and like their hair, looks cute. So I'm like okay mom photos like that too, then I go inside my like look at that big mirror and I'm like oh wow nope. It'S just like you know the little hairs just like kind of come out of your head and like make a little halo around you and kind of like orbit around your head, just making these little frizz C's all around. That'S what my hair looks like. So you can't really change your hair without really damaging it, to make it look like a hair. That'S not yours. I mean. Obviously you can straighten your hair and I straighten my hair, probably a little bit than I should. I straighten it maybe once or twice a week, which is kind of a lot, and then I don't wash my hair for two or three days. Obviously I still take a shower and my hair will stay straight and it will say like how it is for a very long time, which is so nice. Just try not to wash your hair everyday, washing your hair, strips it from all the natural oils and makes your hair really dry, and in the beginning, when I first started doing that, you will notice that your hair will probably start to get kind of oily. But if you just kind of wait it out after like a week or so doing that your hair will get used to not being washed and won't create as many oils in your hair so it'll, be it won't get as oily as fast in case your hair. Does get oily like on that third or fourth day or however long you're, not washing your hair dry shampoo is actually my Savior and just basically soaks up all the oils animates, our hair look good. So I totally love dry shampoo and the other thing is that when you're straightening your hair, if you do what I do and you straighten it once and then you don't wash it for a few days. You'Re gon na have to sleep, and you don't want to get your hair all like messed up when you sleep, if this doesn't work best for everybody, but for my hair type of what I do is I basically just put my hair into like two sections: I'm After straightened - and I just basically create like a little like bun type thing like that, just like I just it and then like put a hair tie or bobby pin in it like that and then go to sleep, and it creates these really pretty like natural waves. When I wake up tip number five, do not brush your hair when it's dry when you brush it dry, it's gon na, take out your hair and it's gon na rip and break and snag, and just like tear your hair apart and get more split ends, and It'S just gon na be bad, so don't do that. The best thing you can do is brush your hair when it's wet so either in the shower or right. When you come out of the shower, so you know how your hair, like naturally it'll, create like little curls or ringlets or whatever it does, but as soon as you brush it, it's gon na frizz you'll, probably look like a mushroom. Let'S just say I have some hair: Hey, don't do this, that's the sound of hair snagging and breaking oh it fluffs up it frizzes it dies. It is just bad! So don't do that now. I just have this random plop in my head awesome. Oh my god. I shed so much all that hair just fell out from brushing that little section all that hair just broke off. I rest my case, so one other thing you can do is if you're not feeling the natural hair. Look then something you can do without damaging your hair is heatless curls. There are so many tutorials up on YouTube and Pinterest in just the Internet in general, on different hairstyles for heatless curls. My favorite is just so simple. Honestly, you do two french braids when your hair is damp. Take him out in the morning, and you just have these they're not really curls or just like really pretty like little ways. Tip number 7. That'S 8! No! Try again tip number seven is to get your hair cut. Semi often a lot of people say you know, get your hair cut like once a month or once every two months, and I mean like that's - really good. If you can do that. Honestly, I get my hair cut about twice a year, maybe three times a year, getting your hair cut. More often will just keep it healthier, it'll get rid of your split ends and I'll just you know, make your hair healthier in general, and the other thing about getting your hair cut is if you have really curly or frizzy hair, I don't think it's best. If you're trying to reduce price to cut your hair, like this short because then I was gon na do, is - is going to shrink up and the phrase gon na come out and it's just is gon na be a little little afro type thing um. So because, if you have a longer hair, the hair at the bottom is going to weigh down the hair at the top. So it's not not going to come out too much I mean obviously so will but it'll like weigh it down a little bit. So it won't be too bad. Another trick that I think is pretty cool is using fabric softener sheets, and this will actually reduce the frizz on your hair. But if you literally just rub your hair with it, it will reduce the frizz number 9. Is that water is your best friend and worst enemy. At the same time, so by adding water to your hair, you can get curls your natural curls. Obviously, if you don't know how to use it, the right way, you'll get curls but also get a lot of friends as well, but it can also be your worst enemy if you're like hair. Obviously, if your hair straight and you get it wet, and then you know I'm talking about kind of use water wisely, you can use it in multiple situations, but lastly, number ten is really to embrace your hair. I mean you're, not gon na. You might not love it right now, but you're gon na have this hair for the rest of your life. You can straighten your hair if you want or just embrace the curls and I kind of do both. I sometimes feel like straightening it sometimes. I feel like wearing it with curls one of my favorite things to do and best tricks, I think, is when I get out of the shower. I scrunch up my hair first like this. Basically and then I just kind of like put it up on my head and I just like use a claw clip to keep it there and it keeps it scrunched up, and I just let it stay there for like thirty minutes or so um. So it kind of gets partly dry, but then what I do is when I'm ready to go to sleep is I actually just take a wig cap and I scrunch up all of my hair, just kind of as I did before, and I put it up scrunched On top of my head and then I just put a wick a wig cap over it, and I go to sleep like that. Put that on your hair and then you take it off in the morning. There'S not really any frizz, but there's curl, and also I didn't have to put any curling gel or hairspray or anything in my hair. So my hair isn't crunchy and it's like soft. You can use that trick that I just told you. I also love using diffusers or even just letting it air dry. So that's basically all of my tricks, and I hoped it helped all of you curly and frizzy haired girls out there you guys so much for watching and make sure to subscribe to my channel. just here to encourage: absolutely DO NOT brush your hair when its wet. especially not in the shower. take a wide tooth comb when your hair is about 80% dry. when your hair is wet it becomes very elasticy. youll split your ends like crazy.

Tori: good tips, however I disagree about your comment on not cutting your hair short. I had hair all the way down to my waist and it was always a frizzy mess but when i cut it all off my hair changed drastically (in a good way).....I think it depends on the person however.
