Hey everyone welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na be showing you how to straighten your hair without using any heat, and this works for any kind of hair, texture or curly wavy. Anything, it's awesome and it's completely damage free. So I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial and let's get started so here's my hair before I wash it. It'S always really frizzy. When I brush it, you guys know the struggle. When you have curly hair. It just never looks cute when you brush it. I'M gon na brush through it, though, to make sure that all of the tangles are out, because we want to make sure that everything is really silky smooth before we start the process. Okay step, one is washing your hair, make sure that you wash and condition your hair, but don't use any special masks or try anything too crazy, because if you try to use anything, that's really hydrating. Your hair can turn out a little bit stringy and greasy looking, and that's not really what we're going for so try to avoid that. Okay step two, even though we just brushed her hair, I always get it at the shower with like a million knot. So I have to do it again: I'm gon na use my tangle, teezer and smooth everything down and then we're gon na work on straightening the roots. It wasn't so easy figuring out how to get straight hair without using heat. I mean it wasn't the most simple thing, but one of the things I figured out through my trials and tribulations was to do this step before I start actually straightening quote-unquote straightening the hair I'm going to straighten the roots by pulling my hair back into a really Tight ponytail and I mean like as tight as you can possibly get it. I'M gon na put my hair into a ponytail and make sure that everything remains as tight as I made it, and then I'm gon na take a fine-tooth comb. I really like using combs like this, because they have so many teeth that it really allows the hair to turn out really super straight. So I recommend getting one if you don't have one already, it's really helpful. So now I'm going to wait about an hour for the roots to dry. This, of course, techsan a little bit of extra time to the entire ordeal. But it's really important and if you have curly hair, you know what it's like to have curly roots and then really straight ends. It'S kind of annoying. So this eliminates that possibility. I forgot to do it on camera, but I did put my hair in a bun shortly after I stopped filming, because you want to keep the ends of your hair wet. We still haven't molded them, so you want to make sure that they're still wet, but, of course, if they do dry, you can just take a spray bottle and wet the rest of your head. Now you can see the roots are really dry and they're. Actually, really straight, which is impressive, and we don't have to worry about those anymore, so I'm gon na take the rest of my hair and put it behind my head, and now I'm gon na take sections about one-inch sections and start brushing them through. This is how we're gon na straighten the hair, I'm taking the section and wrapping it around as if it's like a headband, you want to make sure that this is really tight and very very smooth, because this is how your hair is going to end up. So if you don't straighten the hair with the comb, it's not going to turn out straight. I always like to use like three or four bobby pins, because it helps keep everything in, especially because I sleep with this in overnight a lot of the time. So it you know, it's a lot easier to keep it in that way and then I'm going to keep doing the exact same thing to the rest of my hair, I like to kind of pin it near the crown area where I would wear a headband. That'S just my personal preference, but wherever you want to lay your hair flat, that's exactly where it's gon na work as long as you're laying it really tight and flat to your head. It'S going to work, so this is kind of just personal preference and when you try it a couple times, you come up with your favorite kind of method. So here's what it should look like when everything is wrapped up. I like to take a scarf and just secure everything so that I can sleep on it. Of course, if you're not sleeping on it, you don't have to do this, but I do recommend it if you're gon na be rolling around at night, and I also recommend keeping this in for at least five hours, if you're not gon na sleep on it, make Sure that your hair is completely dry before you take it out once all of the hair on your head is dry, make sure that you take out all of the bobby pins and you can reveal your heatless straight hair. I love this so much and the first time I tried it. I wanted to tell you guys it wasn't so easy. It didn't turn out perfect and it took a lot of trial and error. So don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out perfect. All that might mean is that you have to tweak your method, maybe use smaller strands, more bobby pins and make sure you're tightening the hair as best you can and you'll have perfectly straight smooth hair. I really hope you guys like this tutorial and I hope that it saves you a little bit of damage in your everyday styling. If you want to see more tutorials like this, give it a thumbs up and I'll see you really really soon. I love you.

Maha Barazi: My problem is that my hair is wavy.....but once i brush it it frizzes out!

KEVITA master-brew kombucha 505: “If you have curly hair you know what it’s like to have really curly roots and straight ends” Me: *laughs in vise versa*

sky: Im definitely going to try this tonight! I'll post updates today and tomorrow and once I'm finished. Edit 1: About to wash my hair and start the process :) Edit 2: Finished combing through my hair/putting it in the ponytail, more updates coming after the hour is done. Edit 3: The hour is over, so now I'm starting to put the bobby pins in place. Edit 4: I put all the bobby pins in and look stupid. Doubting this tutorial now... (next update will be in the morning) Edit 5: It didn't work. My hair just turned out curly like it was before. This was a very good idea, and I might try it again soon! :) Okay so it is about 2 months later (1/17/19) and im willing to try again. - i have already washed and combed my hair and i am now waiting for the hour to finish.

JustPan: I came back 2 years later just to say this video changed my life!!! This has been working so well for me, I don’t even remember what my natural hair looks like

Jesus Christ: Can you do a tutorial on how to get out of the shower with a full face of makeup?

Jezelle: This works! thank you! I have thick curls and sometimes I look in the mirror and start crying. I know I’m not ugly at all, but I don’t feel beautiful with it, not the way I do with straight hair. It didn’t come out perfect the first time, but I’m going to try again!!

Magnificent Era: This is actually a Moroccan Way to Keep The hair straight . All moroccans do it . We call it PATCHA.

Zahraa_Ak: Is it just me or when you only have a small amount of bobby pins, you act like they are your baby and you take care of them so much

Mia Nichole: Sunday :frizzy Monday:curly in front straight in back Tuesday:fly always Wednesday:wavey Thursday:curly Friday:straight

Sanika Patil: I look like Hagrid...every. single. Day.

Mansi Sachdeva: It worked for me. It's been like 2-3 months now that I have been using this method every single time I wash my hair. This is literally the best thing that has ever happened to me because the amount of heat that my hair was getting made it brittle and lead to hair fall. My hair is not curly but not even wavy exactly. It's closer to curly with a hell lot of frizz and this method just solved all my problems.

Rose: This is so helpful! A little time consuming, but I've bleached my hair so I don't want to damage it with heat

Ashley Lawler: I have relatively straight roots, and then medium-ish wavy hair. This method worked well for me after a few trys!

Maja Dideriksen: I just LOVE when i come out of my shower with perfect makeup on

dahid: My hair was like this for 9 hours, and still soaking wet.. thick hair problems

Amy Evelyn: I’m trying it now without the bun and put frizz cream and taming oil in my hair and sleeping in it tonight with a headscarf, I’ll keep you guys updated tomorrow morning to see how good my results are Edit: it didn’t work since my hair was still wet in the morning let it air dry properly before taking it out

Amari: This actually worked for me! The first time wasn't so great as expected, but the more I did it, the better I got! Thanks!! <3

Paro Tambe: Today I'm gonna try it and update it with honest review.. Update: so I've tried it and the result is ok. My hair is frizzy and after trying this process my hair get little straighten and it looks better than previous. I have done it at noon. And now I'm gonna do this again and keep it for a night. I will tell you the result tommorow morning.

darshita kasliwal: Step 1.wash hair Step2. Detangle Step3. Make a tight ponytail Step 4. Make a bun Step 5.take sections and wrap it around like a headband (use Bobby pins ) Step.6 (optional )put a scarf around it

Aashpreet Kaur: Won't this make the roots weak because of all the pulling and bobbypins?

NYC State of Mind: This is a known method, it’s called Tourbillon in French which translates to Tornado When hair is thin and curly, it’ll have the pins mark on them so to counter that you could switch sides as the hair dries depending on the volume. So make left to right Tourbillon then switch to the opposite side before hair dries out with the pins marks.

yashh: Oh. my god. Thank you so much for this method!!! It totally worked for me and it's finally straight! I've been using this method three times a week for 2 months now and it's COMPLETELY straight now. I have genetically curly hair and I always dreamed of straightening it. Thank you so so much! You've earned a subscriber! <33

Ms. Ortiz: I have VERY fine, thin, curly hair. Blowdrying/Straightening my hair causes SO MUCH damage that I'll only do it maybe twice a year. If I were to tie my hair back tight it would do damage as well. I have to just embrace my curls and only admire people who can straighten their hair and not have damage..

xanthe: Thank you! I usually keep my natural curly hair on but whenever I straighten it i always get worried about it damaging my curly hair! I will use this method

j8yda Omayra: Gonna try it tonight. I have all the Bobby pins in, I used about 52 . I look so stupid but I’ll update when I wake up. Also my hair is naturally wavy but more on the curly side of you know what I mean. I tried it and it worked for the most part there was about piece of hair that kept falling out and that piece was still pretty curly when I took it out the Bobby pins.

Namrata Haridas: This definitely works on me... thank you soo sooo muchhh... i have long thick and curly hair, but with lot of patience I did as instructed, used 15 clips to hold my hair tight straight and unbelievable it works I am so happy thankssssss

Chimchim Suga: Aaw, it's cute Here in morocco we call this technic "bacha" it's a traditional way to straighten your hair and it works wonders my mother used to do it for my hair when i was a kid since heat is not recommend for kids and will damage their hair so bad

Ms. Kimme: Thank you! Thank you for this. Great tips throughout the entire video. I will definitely try this.

Lacey Keith: I am so surprised with how well this worked! I also have naturally curly hair and I was so tired of seeing no-heat tutorials that are meant for people with straight hair... I felt like nothing catered to my hair type! With this, the idea is genius! I too have tried experimenting with different straightening methods but never found anything life changing or worth the extra effort. I can't wait to try this tonight! Thanks!

GamingLegand542: OMG IVE BEEN WANTING TO STRAITEN MY HAIR FOR AGES CANT WAIT TO TRY IT!!

Yvonne Ramirez Cano: In Peru we name this straightening method "Toca" it was very common among our great grandmothers, now is unusual, but you had show me how to do it step by step. Thanks

Emmy 444: In the middle east especially in Egypt we've used the method of flat lying since ages to straighten the hair, I'm still using it and it still works perfectly for me to straighten my hair, It's an easy and effective way, thx for sharing it

SkilledAtNothing LifeCoach: I see a LOT of comments saying this method hurt to much to try. It hurt my head too cause I have a v sensitive scalp. The little snap clips that are more curvy shaped did wonder results with waaaay less pain! Granted that a lots of those snap clips, but I think the heatless style was worth it.

Habiba Mostafa: Thanks so so so much for this it works really well It works with curly and wavy hair wet and dry I straightened my hair before Then I trued this last week and my hair looked the exact same as how it was when I straightened my hair So this really works and it is amazing Thanks again

chunch: I tried this last night on my 3a-3b hair. It made my hair less curly in some parts, wavy in others, and some small sections are straight. My hair looks as if I blow dried it without using a brush and is very poofy overall. As Alexandra said, this is likely to turn out better with practice. My hair is around the same length as hers in the video and I had a lot of trouble finding space on my head to pin the lengths properly. I’m sure this contributed to my result. That said, I think that even if I were to perfect the technique, my hair will only end up wavy. I’m sure it would work better on naturally wavy hair, especially when using the right products.

Grace Anderson: It works! Not perfect, but definitely straighter! My hair will probably be even straighter the next time I try it because I will have had more experience.

Madeline T.: I love my curly hair I’m just looking to have straight hair for my wedding day because I’m wearing hair extensions thanks for this babe!!

Gia LaBrocca: I am loving this!! Brilliant!! Will definitely try!!

Aine Taggart: I’m gonna try this my hair is really wavy and frizzy it’s such a struggle to deal with wish me luck Edit 1 I’ve brushed my hair and I’m ready to get in the shower Edit 2 I’ve put my hair back into a bun and I’m 30 minutes in

_addie_: Since I have VERY curly hair I think this would only help to semi-straighten my hair, but it might help prepare it for the flat iron

amnah s: thank you so so so much! this is a life saver for me as a muslim girl, when I wear shela I have this weird looking back when i tie my hair and put it under my abaya or school uniform, but after learning this and doing this I didnt have the weird back! thank you so much. love you!

ShitHappens DealWithIt: OMFG!!! I'm so happy I found this my hair looks just like yours every day of my life!! Also I don't have enough money to by a straightener, so this was a life saver!! Thank you!!

Huda: Thanks so much you literally saved my life I have MS so a lot of heat from straighteners to my head is quite bad for me and it can induce relapses this has helped me so much ♡♡

Aryaaa Ary: I used To straghten my hair this way and we call the whole method " tourbillon " in my country but i always had a problem with the roots being curly kz they're are never tight enough .. now I know how to get straight roots as well thanks to you U're great :-*

SpannerSims: If I tried this overnight, I would wake up and my hair would still be soaking wet still, so it would take ages to dry!!❤

[Blank]: That level of tightness might pull your roots out over a long period of time, so maybe do it once a week? Especially not over night.

nicadrmar: In the Black community we call this "wrapping" the hair and have been doing this forever. The difference is we wrap it in one direction and on soaking wet hair w or w/o a setting lotion to straighten the edges. For short hair one can wrap it, put a scarf on, go to bed and it will be dry by morning. For my hair that is almost waist length and very thick and curly, this wouldn't work without sitting under a hooded dryer. It would take all week to airdry lol.  I'm impressed that wrapping it in different directions like this didn't lead to a complete matted mess. Good vid, I hope it works out as a heatless option for someone.

WinTej: You look gorgeous with straight hair!

Shital Methe: It worked me very well !!! My mother was shocked to see my straight hair ... I will try these on my bday so that I could get straight hair..thank you so much for sharing this video ..

Myataya_myata: Your hair would be so awesome on curly girl method! All girls with frizzy, curly hair should use this method!

~it's Diamonds time~: Girl as a child with damaged hair I was living for this video

Kayley Rodier: You make this look way easier than the mess I just made out of my hair

Sarah Murphy: :o amazing why didn't I think of that ive been doing the wet pony tail part but never thought of doing the second part! Thank you!

〖 キセキ 〗: I have to straighten my hair twice a week, and it's damaging, so this really helps

Pronomi Haque: Bro even if I straighten my hair with a hair straightener, it gets wavy in half an hour lol. :3

Ashweni Basumatari: I tried it. The roots of my hair were all straightened. But I had difficulty in tying my hair for the tips part. Can you please show us how did you do that?

Irene van Amersfoort: After straightening my hair for more than 2 years daily/weekly it was starting to fall out and getting thinner and thinner. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING MY HAIR

Romany Hoehne: I have been scrolling through the comments to see if I should try this most people are saying your hair will come up from the slick bun but I’m up for it. I just put my hair in the ponytail and I’ll update you when I’m done.

Sophia x: I’ve done this every day for like 3-4 years now and my hair is naturally flat now like it’s still wavy / curly when I don’t do anything to it but my roots are so flat after doing it for so long and I have loads of split ends from all my Bobbi pins. It does work very well though lol

Future Trunks: Thx! I love how you did this neat tutorial, I'mma use this technology for now on.

Muskan Turna: I tried this on my weavy fizzy hair. Its really work

WiLlOwHiSpP: Girl im not trying to loose my hair with that slick ponytail

Katie Hughes: if i had hair like yours i would wear it natural almost all the time

Amber Dickerson: My hair is straight and curly and wavy at the same time so LOVE that for me

Najma Zafar: Hey! I just want to say that if you have curly hair there is no way that you can have straight hair NATURALLY. Just use common sence it's not possible. All the tutorials on the internet to have straight hair naturally are fake. Just try to appreciate your hair. Curly or straight whatever you have you are beautiful just the way you are cause God created you. Be happy for what you have. Some people in the world don't have any hair. Be Thankful that you even have hair ! Curly hair are gorgeous they define your personality! I have curly hair 2c to 3a and honestly I take care of them and I love them sooo much. Don't try to make your hair straight try to improve your curly hair.❤✌

trash: i wanna try this but I feel like my hair will just end up wavy... oh well, wavy hair is better than the curly mess I have right now....

Megan Tilbury: Im a little too old for your channel but it popped up in my feed. So I checked out the video... So glad I did. I wish you were around when I was a teen! As the parent of a teen girl, its great to see an attractive young womon helping young girls to be the best version of themselves with a "supportive big sister" vibe. Love it!

lexi durham: 2:58 this could be a look that looks not to bad

kristina myrteza: I tried this tutorial it works thank you so much for this video

Toni Leigh Kimbriel: SO helpful, thanks for sharing!

Anamika Dey: Wow just an amazing Idea . Thanks for this video

Li A.: My mom learned me this method It works

Anushka~: Okay this technique absolutely works and for my hair it lasted for good 3 to 4 days but the problem is that i experienced a lot of hair fall like even if I run my fingers gently through my hair they fall so the damage is equivalent to the method of ironing

Fern The Flare: The time that this took I could straighten my hair normally with heat, just remember to use a heat protectant conditioner and spray before you use heat

Maya White: OMG I HATE MY HAIR!!!! After i tried this I literally died!!!! It Was perfect THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!

fizerek: Number one rule for healthy hair is to NEVER brush your hair while it’s wet! So long term, using that technique is actually gonna damage your hair a lot!

Grace Genesis Emanuella: She's so beautiful.. n her tutorial is extremely helpful.... Tysm ..♥️♥️

Nada Aly: That’s amazing thank you!

Taqyo: I don’t have to damage my hair anymore everyday!

Jackie Shelton: Ok... I'm no hair stylist but this is pretty awesome. My only concern is that I was once told (by a hair stylist) that it's really bad to put wet hair up in anything tight and let it dry because it will break your hair. She said wet hair is stretched and expanded and when it dries it will take its original shape. If its tied up in a tight pony tail, bun, or anything similar it can cause the hair shaft to weaken and break. I have no idea though. I always sleep with wet hair and flat iron it the next day with heat protectant spray.

Kath: I tried this a while ago and IM SI FUCKING AMAZED ON WHAT HAPPENED ON MY HAIR IM REALLY THANKFUL FOR THIS VIDEO

كمال: woow its so great actually i love the last one so perfect

S 27: I use a special medicin for my hair. You put it into you hair and it burns your hair streight but without heat and it doesnt damadge your hair. That holds for at least 2 or 3 months and my hair are perfectly straight

Shikha Khare: Good if you have so much free time that you can dedicate one full day in a week for getting straight hair

nam Namo: After doing this i am going to have migraine for the rest of the day

Chandrika Shrestha: Thanks sis. It really worked for me . I'm really happy . Thanks for this video ☺☺.

Emmanuel: Thank you for sharing. I find this method very interesting.

chana blejer: I think the brushing and putting my hair in a pony tail while it is wet is the hardest!!!!

Lenora: i dont have enough bobby pins to do this

Sireesha Sai: I WANT MY LONG STRIGHT HAIR TO BE CURLY WITHOUT HEAT!!!

Dia: I've been watching this video at least 4 times a year for 4 years now and I'm finally going to do it. So I'll try my best to keep you guys updated. I have officially washed my hair and put it into a pony tail and then bun and now I'm waiting for the hour to pass by. Will update you tomorrow!

: the thing is... once i brush and straighten my hair in this method, in the morning my hair turns frizzy and curly like to how it was before.. this is a short-lasting method and i recommend it only on dates since that’s the literal amount of time it lasts

Rameshkumar: Awesome ...first I had a noodles hair but now I have a straight hair ...thanks a lot

Miss UNknown: Okay tip for everyone who has very frizzy hair! Use banana hair mask twice a month for 2 months and believe me your will be so soft shiny and very less frizzy and btw I tried this video hack and it works! ;)

A Lopez: We used this method back in the 70's. Only difference was using a big roller on the crown area and then wrapping the hair around the head like you did. We called it the wrap around. I would blow dry it because it would take forever to dry and I was going out in the evening.

alinaowo: The thing is , straight haired people want wavy hair and Wavy/Curly haired people want straight hair P.S no hate you choose what you do <3

Yogini Shakti Tantra: Genius! Can't wait to try it.

KK Slider: Thank you! This is super helpful and I'll try this soon ❤️☺️

vanilla: This sounds like a cool method! I’ll try I guess! Edit: I can’t Edit 2: Yay it’s working! Edit 3: nvm :l Edit 4: my hair got super tangled while faking and taking out the Bobby pins, my hair’s just gonna break at this point tbh

Chloe Schlegel: I havent straighted my hair for 3 months. (Im to lazy for it) And every day i litteraly look like i was born in the wilderness. I will deffinetly try this method over the weekend.
