Hey guys welcome back to another video and in today's video and in today's video i'm going to be doing an 80s inspired hairstyle video. So i definitely just want to put out there that i love the 80s so much. My mom tells me all the stories and how she lived in it and very jealous i've always been jealous. All my favorite movies are from the 80s, so much so that i actually have t-shirts dedicated to all the movies. I love and i'm definitely wearing one. You betcha pretty in pink one of my top favorite ones, there's so many though, but i mean but yeah, so i'm very excited to be doing this video and i'm very excited to show you guys what i've come up with. Oh i'm just very excited. So, let's just without further ado, let's just get right into the video okay. So for the first look that i'm gon na be doing um. This is the photo that i found and that inspired me to do it. So first things first get a headband. I only have a gray and black one, so i'm gon na be doing gray, so you can see it better and a hairbrush. I think i don't know. I really don't know how to do this. I wonder if i can actually rock this and make it work. Let'S see so first things: first, i guess you put the headband across your forehead and then your hair all to the one side. So let's do that? Oh my god! This is gon na look so freaking weird. This is so crazy. I think i'm gon na pull out the side pieces here. Okay, so this is the first look here um i just threw the headband in - and i put my hair to the side, but this is what we've got so far. So this is the look cue, the music okay. So that's the first look, really easy, really simple! You can do this at home if you want, if you some, if you're confident doing this look like go for it, i feel like it's a cool look. I feel like you're, definitely going to get some stairs and definitely some older people is going to be starting a conversation becoming best friends with you, so um. So this is it for the first one on the second one, okay on to the second one. So this one i'm also excited to do because i don't think i've ever done this with my hair um. Personally, i don't think ponytails suit me. I may just be insecure of my big forehead, but you know what today we're gon na see i'm gon na see if i can pull it off. You know why, because it's gon na be a scrunchie in there really high up. So this is the reference photo to the look that i will be creating next i have chose my scrunchie now. It is time to put my hair all the way up up up. Okay, so i just put my hair up. I noticed that her hair is kind of on a slant um kind of to the side. I think that was the look, so i'm actually just gon na be bringing it up a little bit higher. So it looks more like see it better. I think that's where hers is. I can't. First of all, my hair is too short for this look. Second of all, my hair is thick like it looks like a whole other, like hat, is here we're going to loosen up, because you can tell that her hair is loosened. Um, we're definitely going to be pulling out some pieces here because she has like a fringe like i used to have like bangs and a short thing, so i'm hoping that i can kind of recreate this in a way okay. So this is what i come up with for the second one. It took me a minute here. I noticed her hair was frizzier at the top. She does have like a fringe like bangs, but um. You know the only thing i could do right now is the side part, which is so it looks like a bald ear, but like it's fine, so this is the second look, the high pointer with the scrunchie. I definitely just grabbed my yogurt because i don't want anything pink. The next one i'm gon na be doing is it's kind of one that i would consider wearing. So i'm really excited to try this one out but um yeah. So this is the reference photo to it: um kind of like a half up, half down moment, um, all right, so half up half down. Let me look in the mirror and figure this out. Okay, so i think i somewhat got got it um, here's the problem! The ends of my hair are curly so, like you can see these pieces like floating kind of thing, but they really have it like high high up. I feel like i could definitely pull this off. If i straighten my hair and then just have like my hair straight kind of like just kind of ease into it, but i actually kind of like this. One definitely reminds me of something that somebody would wear in the 80s per se. They definitely have a fringe, but again i don't really have like bangs to you know do that, so maybe that would make it look more blunt in but yeah this is the third hairstyle okay. So the next one that i'm gon na be doing is one that i'm excited, for i only own one bandana, it's it's not the best. It was my mom's from like 2000s or something so i wish i had a red one like the reference photo but um. This is the reference photo right here. I really do like this look. This is definitely like for me like a picnic like kind of like date, night kind of like whimsical like nature. Look, what is it called yeah? So what it looks like is that her hair is up and there's only a little bit of like bang hanging out, so i'm gon na do that. I think we're gon na need is um like a ponytail or something i like longer-ish hair. So i'm just going to kind of work on it, pin it back. Ah, this looks kind of weird so in case you're wondering kind of what i did. I just kind of put like a little bun in the back yeah next. So what i'm going to be doing is putting this bandana. I still have my hoops in, i think, that's perfect. I'M gon na kind of like kind of tuck some out, because her hair is kind of like yeah. This part's, like up so like, maybe get like a bobby, pin. Okay, so here is the look that i've come up with with this bandana um. I do like this. I would definitely wear something like this 100. This is definitely, i don't know it's a cuter way than like it's a cuter way to do like a low bun to me and putting if you want your hair back just you know type of thing. I know i definitely just run these cute sunglasses. That kind of match, like heck, yeah, all right, so this next one that i'm going to be doing um is kind of like a classic one. You could probably wear it now and um. I feel like i see it on some moms when they go to the grocery store, so it's kind of still here it is this, so i haven't actually done this on myself before i know my mom used to do it all the time um. So i'm gon na try and recreate it. I'M gon na tie a ribbon because in the 80s, sometimes they would wear like bows and ribbons like especially up here or at their side with their ponytails okay. So this is what i got so far, so i actually ended up having to put in a ponytail as you can see, and now i'm going to wrap the ribbon around it and see if i can create a bow. It kind of looks like i have a mullet right now. Um, i kind of like it not gon na lie a little bit, it's kind of cool, but this is definitely the look and yeah. This is the look. It was also pretty easy too. If you want to try this yeah, this is the look all right so for the next hairstyle that i will be doing um. This is the reference photo right here and it was very, very, very common in the 80s to have like thick like just kind of like frizzy, frizzy, frizzy hair and some people would have it. Frizzy, curly or some people would have it like frizzy straight. So i'm gon na be teasing my hair yeah. So let's give that a try. I don't know so. I'M gon na grab a piece of hair and i think what you're supposed to do is just kind of i think you're just trying to try to back comb. It okay, this is definitely working. You can definitely see a result. So, let's keep it rolling. Are you guys seeing this so guys? This is the finished. Look, i'm totally just kidding. This is not the finished look. This is not like it's so funny, and this was like definitely a thing like this was probably like, really really like one of the most popular ones. To be honest, daycare was was a big thing here. This is insane. This is nuts okay hold on give me one sec. I have a special surprise. That'S it! Okay. Are you guys ready? Okay? So that was the final look.
