Braid Out Tutorial On Relaxed Hair (No Heat)

How I style my braid out video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgaV29...

**Maintaining/Nightly Routine: I rebraid my hair for the next few nights if I plan on leaving it out. I spray my hair with water to dampen it. Then rub conditioner. I do not use a comb, but just my fingers. If I do not leave it out, I'll put it up into a loose high ponytail and keep it styled in a high hun or low ponytail.

Hey guys, it's a destra, and I would like to thank you for watching my braids out video, I'm going to start off with wet hair. I just go washed my hair, I spray my leavings and I also used a wide tooth comb to make sure that my hair as well, to tell you that this is where I usually like to part my hair, sometimes a little all to the side. The items and products that I use, obviously I do use combs. I use a moisturizing conditioner as a leaving. I love to use coconut oil, hair clips sparks and also perm rods to curl the ends of the braids. Now, as far as the parts there's no need for them to be me, I notice that it blends in a lot better after you take the braids down now to smaller the braids that you have the smaller the waves, the larger the braids, the bigger the weave. Now I go ahead and apply conditioner to the section of hair, and then I begin braiding now I leave some here at the end and order for me to curl them with the rods I'm going to go ahead and repeat the porn same process a few more Times i usually do about five to six braids, now being that the hair is wet, make sure that you are very gentle with it, since it is more fragile. I take my satin scarf a square scarf and I fold into a triangle and fold it over several times to make it look like a headband and tie towards the back. That is basically for the braids to stay in place. I use a drawstring scarf also to secure the loose braids and also the rods you can go under the dryer if you'd like, but I usually let it air dry overnight and then I'll take it down the next day, I'm using organic extra virgin coconut oil, which I had picked up at a local farmers market and I basically like it because it Boise Rises my hair and also gives it a nice shine. So what I'm about to take the braids sound? I basically rub it onto the braids. Now, when I'm doing your braids, I suggest that you do not do it in a humid room or a humid bathroom, because what happened is that your hair will frizz up very quickly and then you can start fingers separating the hair again make sure you are gentle With it, the more separating that you do, the more chance that you have for frizzing, but as long as it well, it's the way you want it to look then go for it and then, after a while just play with it until you achieve your desired look. So I can't play with mine:

Sdestra: Thanks for watching hun! I use the VO5 as a leave in sometimes because it keeps my hair well hydrated, moisturized and soft. It is also light for my hair too. So it's works great for me and my routine :-)

Sdestra: Hey hun, you can use regular rollers too. Use the ones that are wrapped in satin or use the roller paper on it. That way you don't damage your ends. Another option is to finger roll them and pin the ends up around your head. Hope this helps :-)

Sdestra: I put my hair up in a loose pony tail high on top of the head. Tie with a scarf. I think it is called the pineapple method. If my hair waves start to flatten out, I'll style it in other ways to make it last. Thanks for the question hun :-)
