Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to be all about relaxed hair care and how to get your relaxed hair to finally grow. I'M going to be sharing some tips with you today that I've been using it with the unit. Last couple of years, I guess - and that has been working for me and my hair has not always been this lit, so this is about how long is now yeah. I'Ve recently cleared it. So it's looking dead straight but and yeah. My hair's not always been this length, but it used to be about here and I used to have a full range or fur fringe, because I didn't actually cut it. That way just broke like like that, so I just used to flick it and style it. How how it laid really and I've been using - you know these tips for yeah again a couple of years and they've been working for me. So if you would like to see um what I use and how I take care of my hair, please stay tuned. Okay, so I've got all my tips written down on my phone. So if you see me looking down that's why, and so my first tip is to choose a relaxer that this suits you, the relaxer that I use currently is the olive oil professional cream relaxer, which is this one, and it is a no lie relaxer so, and This is actually said, this actually says normal script, but I use extra strength and so yeah. This is a no line. Relaxer and no no relaxers are their harsher on your hair, but there are less harsh on your scalp and then line. Relaxers are the opposite. They are easier on your hair but harsher on your scalp. So I think I got that right. I use no lie because I've got a sensitive scalp. So when I use a line, relaxer I'll only get burned so yeah with it. With this, I don't. I barely get any burns and I have to just make sure that I take extra care. My hair, because these are this - is harsh on your hair. Okay, I picked it is to limit your actual relaxer use, so try not to relax your hair as often as you do um I relaxed my hair about two times in the year. Well, that's what I aim for and I'm gon na relax it about summertime and winter time and summertime, so you can look blade for the summer winter time, so I can laid for Christmas in New Year's right now it is our I'm currently about 15 weeks post Relaxer because I wax my hair back in April, and the reason I did that was because I want to do my versatile wig, which is my first video I'll link it down below and yeah. So I can't not gon na relax my hair till about maybe October November and again not everyone, look, can stretch the hair out for that long. So again tailor it to you alright. So my third tip is to use protective styles. So when you have those moments where you are basically transitioning and you've got regrowth um protective cells are really helpful. So I like to wear wigs a little bigs a lot now and I'm not about that we've like, but if you want to wear weave, go ahead and wear believe I just like to remove the wig and then treat my hair and then me. But again some people like weave, so you can use weaves, that's a protective style and you can also do braids and cornrows senegalese, twists, etc, but just make sure that when you do those styles, you don't do them too tight. So you're straining your hair and ripping out your edges with that kind of defeats. The whole purpose are trying to get your hair to grow, so just make sure that they're actually protecting your hair and when you have those styles make sure you also treat your hair with a different oil sprays. Just to condition your hair underneath tip. Number four is to wash your hair. Oh say I wash my hair about every other week when I have it out, and then I co wash it the weeks in between. So I think it's kind of a myth that black people don't have to wash their hair. That often, I think that it's good to wash your hair just to get rid of all like the weekly dirt and stuff. That'S built up in your hair and especially because I live in under the air pollution in here, and this area is terrible. So you know you have all that gunk in your hair, so it's just good to just just wash all that stuff out, give it a deep treatment and then yet go about your day with your protective styling, so the things I actually use to wash my hair. I use the organics kind of range because they are sulfate free and i use the organic salt okay, so I use the argan oil of Morocco, conditioner and shampoo, and I also use the nourish and coconut milk, conditioner and shampoo, and I just alternate between these two And they're quite small and expensive, so I try to use as little as I can. Oh and I yeah and I use those to co wash as well to these above the conditioners. So I use that, for when I decide to go wash and tip 5 is to moisturize, okay, so relaxed hair. I think just hair in general and well. Black hair in general can get really really dry, especially during the harsh weather. So right now, it's quite hot. Unusually, it's really hot today, so I'm going to show you the moisturizing things that I use the mushrooms, which was in products in general, so I use the after I wash my hair. I used the argan oil leave-in by art, Naturals, which is this one and, and you can get this off of Amazon, so what it says that it does is prevents breakage and nourishes hair and is hard to help and overall appearance of the hair. And the thing I like about art Naturals is that they have like Vinnie's natural products in their product, so I'm going to read a couple of third ingredient, so water is definitely a main ingredient. If you want a nourishing, are conditioner so water, chamomile, aloe vera, rosemary witch hazel, vitamin E argan oil Moringa oil, so it just got those of natural things in here, which is really good for my hair and my hair loves this. I also like to use afro G's probe, it's um, a leave-in conditioner, which is this one, just kind of open, dupes, okay, but I don't know why they put this in this kind of bottles. But I don't know if you can hear it, but it's literally like water, so I decided to transfer it into like a spray bottle. So I can use this better, but this is supposed to a smooth and detangle and improve body and shine out. It'S also a heat protectant, and so this one is all-natural one. So I don't use heat protectant. I use these two whenever I blow dry my hair, so for oil. I just use two oils. I use argan oil of Morocco again from organics, which is this little one here, and this isn't a 100 %. Actually, let me do a person. This is not 100 percent of argan oil, but it just makes my hair feel so soft and it does have all the mold and obviously - and it's just really good for my hair and I also use coconut oil yeah guys. I told you it was hot. So the UM, the coconut oil has kind of melted and the coconut oil that I use is BB's extra virgin, organic raw, coconut coconut oil, and this actually says it's great for frying, roasting, baking or just splitting or whatever, but yeah. I use this for my hair and this is actually fair trade. So I really like that about this and it's just a hundred percent organic because you get some coconut oils that have stuff mixed into it and yeah. You don't want that. You want the extra virgin coconut oil and then, lastly, I use the blue carrots and green tea and reakless green tea Reconstructor we construct erisa actually and which is this one, and I like to use this, especially when I'm applying heat to my hair, because this works Best when you apply here says that it looks in the treatment when you use heat - and this is just it has keratin in it. So it's just a build up the protein in your hair. If you like that, okay, so my sixth tip, is to limit the amount of times you straighten or blow-dry your hair, so the last time I straightened my hair was, I think about three years ago. I don't really straighten my hair that often at all, I don't have any to it. So all I do is blow dry it when I've washed, occasionally when I've watched it. When I want my hair to be a little bit straighter like today, I live right on warm air. I don't blow it on hot air ever that's way too harsh for my hair and last but not least, um. When you go to bed use a satin scarf or bonnet and the one is I've got for my beauty, supply store and then they're really cheap. So I need to take that the sentence gulfs will be really expensive, but they're not exactly of silk. Actually, I think mine cost about maybe $ 2.99, so it's not expensive at all, and it just helps to keep the moisture sealed into your hair. If you lie on a cotton like pillar, then you're going to rub the moisture off into the pillow and you're going to just end up with the oil and stuff in your pillow and not in your hair, where you actually want it to be. So that's a really important because you learn on your hair, for for at least I mean if you're lucky eight hours, so you don't want to be rubbing your hair against the pillow for eight hours because that's really really damaging okay. So I hope you found this video useful um. You don't have to do all everything that I've said in this video, but just picking up, maybe one or two tips to start yourself off with and then you know gradually, including more things as you go along on your hair hair journey haircare journey yeah, so yeah. I hope you found this useful and yeah I'll catch you in my next video

The Gloved Natural: Please Read :) : Yes relaxers can be dangerous if you misuse them just like a lot of things. The problem occurs when people allow the relaxer to sit for to long or use a strength that is too strong which causes burns and allows the sodium hydroxide (the active chemical) to penetrate the skin. As long as you follow instructions they are okay to use. Hair dye also isn't good for you, especially black hair dye. Should we all stop dyeing our hair too? Everyone already knows relaxers aren't the best thing for hair which is why I make sure to look after it. The assumption that relaxing hair is about self hate is nonsense If you genuinely want to inform me about the health risks (even though I already know) that's fine, but if you are coming to try and convince me to go "natural" then I don't wanna hear it. It's hair... cut it off it'll grow back, bleach it, dye it, whatever. This video is for people who have relaxed hair and want to retain length and keep it healthier. It is not up for people to force opinions on others. This whole Natural vs. Relaxed thing is ridiculous, the term "natural" even gets on my nerves. There are bigger problems in the world. The energy you use to criticise others can be put to better use. How about we fight for education or equal rights. Just saying, it's all love x

Ed The Bank: I love that black woman are taking the time to learn how to grow and take care of their hair in any state they choose because they are queens and I'm sick of people assuming that they can't naturally grow long hair

Denisha Rivers: Thank you so much for being PRO-relaxer! I absolutely love the natural hair trend but it has brought a bad name to relaxers. I understand that relaxers have many chemicals, but just like color treatments you have to know how to take care of it. So thank you for being you, and showing girls to not be afraid of relaxers!!

Shontel Dunston: People act like it’s foreign to have healthy relaxed hair

Candice Colebrooke: Three years natural and I relaxed two weeks ago. It's falls to about right below my shoulder blades, and is SUPER healthy. I only went natural to let my hair regroup because it was really damaged... mission accomplished. Lemme tell you. I missed my straight hair and definitely do not regret perming. This mane gonna be so healthy, everyone is finna double take. #PermedAndProud

sasha subs: Glad I found you! I used to get my hair relaxed and it was just as long as yours but after going natural it broke off and is short as hell! Y'all natural nazi's can have that! I'm getting my relaxer next months!

mochi chimchim: I'm natural but I still love watching videos like this there's some people that swear relaxers are from the devil but as you can see you can have healthy relaxed hair, it takes practice just like natural hair and you have to find the right methods for yourself......I prefer natural for MYSELF basically the only reason being that I have fine thin hair and when it's in its curly state it looks 50% thicker than it really is

Keniesha Peoples: I'm so glad you made this video, I'm not a fan of being natural. This just shows you ladies that you can have very healthy relaxed hair. Years ago, females were all for relaxers. Now they act like your hair is unhealthy if it's relaxed NO! Relaxed or natural if you don't properly take of your hair it will break off period. And all these females keep talking about natural is better and you should love your roots but most females don't even wear their natural hair. They cover it up with weave so... & TBH your hair is way longer than any female I've seen that's natural. No shade ! But keep doing you love. You hair is FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!

RondaRoyal: 2 years natural and I am about to relax my hair again...I'm tiyad(tired) and it's so expensive to maintain lol

Fluffy flo: Where are all the natural ladies telling her to go natural. Can't say a damn thing because her hair is thick and healthy!!

slimdudeDJC: Your results are amazing! It's so refreshing to see a Black woman taking serious care of her hair, and causing it to grow longer. This is evidence that it can be done. Cheers to you, lovely!!! * ♦ girl *

Officially Denni: Currently growing my hair out only using box braids and I just hit bra strap length (started at ear length)!! You channel helps sooo much!

ButterBean: One of my cousins and best friends has been doing the same for a few years now and her hair got as long as her weaves-18" (which she often used as a protective style in between perms). Her hair grew long but wasn't as soft as you'd think it'd feel when you see it... But again that might also be an isolated case because we all have different types of hair. Bw to get back to this video - I loved all the explanations and I can also add that all these products from the organx line used to, and still work for my natural hair.

Jazzmine Burch: I've always experienced breakage when i went too long between getting a relaxer. I think two times a year wouldn't work for me. What do you think about four times a year?

Timmy A: Finally a British person on relaxed hair!!

Straight Outta Shiganshina: Thank you so much for this video! I used to have healthy and long relaxed hair, but I went to Air Force basic training and my hair has become so damaged since then. Hopefully I can get back on track and get it back to normal!

Giggles: Great video!! I use Affirm. It is very gentle. I try to stretch for at least 4-5 months. Try to relax 2x a year as well, max 3X. Once I see excessive shedding and too many tangles then its time. I do buns and cornrows. Clip-in extensions help a lot to do protective styles. I use the argan oil conditioner in place of gel on my edges, but I need a stronger gel when I have more new growth.

Sweetz: My hair has been permed since I was maybe six or seven and my hair is past my bra line. It is healthy and I perm it every five or six weeks and I have been using blue magic coconut hair grease and it is very healthy and I also never cut or trimmed my hair I don't see the need. I also wash it twice a week and roll it maybe four times and my hair is healthy. People be telling me to go natural and I look at there hair and I look at mine and I say "no thank you"

Jasmane Jefferson: I swear!!!! My hair was longer and healthier when it was relaxed but then again I was little and my mom took care of my hair and now I'm taking care of mine and my hair is dry short it's breaking off my ends are splitting like crazy it's crazy

Vivi Pêche: So happy i found you! New subbie ;) I've followed most of your tips the past year already and have seen amazing results. Coconut oil is my go-to, protective styles is a must and a 2-time a year relaxer with lots of washing + conditioning in-between is great advice. I relax 3 times a year and use Affirm, I find this relaxer works beautifully for me. My hair is in a weave now but can't wait to take it out & try some of these products. Thanks for the tips!x

Hetty Ashiagbor: I'd love to be able to relax my hair just twice a year. How do you manage to do that and take care of your re-growth and ensure that the ends of your hair doesn't break? x

amoryll36: This is useful information. Thank you. Too many ppl arguing about being natural or relaxed etc. Surely it's about having healthy hair which is possible in ALL aspects as long as it's done properly. It's all down to CHOICE and everyone is entitled to that...

Sandra Lindo: Hi Racheal. Thank you so much for doing this video. It has helped me a lot and I'm getting better results at home with the OGX products than the Keracare that they use in the salon. I find after shampoo and a good long conditioning with OGX my hair is so silky soft. I'm more happy with my hair now managing it at home than going and spending £80 in the salon for a relax and treatment. I use silky hair ties and Lucy bees coconut oil, Morocco penetrating oil and the oil fusion. Absoulety love them. My hair is so healthy now and never dry and brittle like before. I tried "natural" hair, been there done that, cried everyday just to comb and detangle it. I know Natural hair is defiantly not for me, so I will be sticking with my relaxed hair for an EXTREAMLY long-time to come. Thanks so much again for your tips x

Sola Soyombo: You don't know happy I am I found a video about relaxed hair! You go girl

Chris Araujo: Hi from . I am 51 years old. I use relaxer on my hair since forever every 4 months. My hair is healthy, shine, grows crazy and I do wash twice a week and DC every time. I avoid heat as much as I can but I flat iron once a week. Then making the long story short: we just need to take care the scalp and the hair itself with attention and care needed. People do crazy stuff on hair using all kind of junk, pulling, not doing what is supposed to do.. I am glad you have this kind of video because the natural trend believes only them can have a nice and healthy hair..

Rayne H: Your hair is so pretty! I've been natural for some time but I'm not sure if my hair is actually healthy. It's extremely tempting to get a perm because 4c hair doesn't look as good as loose hair types and the only thing I can do is a puff. Any who, I'll definitely be watching your videos!

Aquarius Moon: Doing the natural thing just wasn't for me because every other three days I got to keep putting more heat on my hair because I said I prefer to wear my hair straight....so that was a problem for me. Every other three day I am washing and silk pressing...I got sick of that.... I happily went back to my relaxer because I know how to do them right.... my hair do grow very long with relaxers because like I said I know how to do them....Now with the natural doing I found myself having to cut and cut... So that was getting on my nerves too... Plus with silk press you don't want to put a lot of product on your hair.... and so that what led to me having to wash it every 3 days because my hair is like extra dry....now with the relaxer my hair is very much more moisturized.... now I'm back to just putting heat on my hair once a month, and it's way easier for me to wear a protective Style.... I only tried doing the natural hair styling because I always hear my sister talking about and got tired of her whining to me about changing.... what I've learned is that works for her not me...

sweet six: My mum's hair is really long, she relaxes it every 2 months

Ebony Charisma: I use to relax my hair and did so only twice a year. I was able to retain length and had growth. Glad you mentioned that method in your video! Most people think that every time new growth appears they need to "touch-up". I don't relax my hair anymore. Just a personal preference.

Maaffyfaaffy: As a 11 year old, I have been relaxing for 2 years now and when i first did it it was amazing for my MOTHER . At the moment I'm transitioning but if you wanna relax, you relax just don't relax it too much . But your hair looks healthier than my transistioning hair <3

ARMYprinncess: Thanks for your tips!! I am on a hair growth journey as well and looking for things that I can do to grow my hair. I'm definitely going to do a video like this on my channel

Mika Rose: well I have recently had a relaxer and very pleased with how it turned out. I wanna make sure it stays healthy and grow. so with that being said I really have gained more knowledge on how to better take care of it. The relaxer used on my hair from the stylist was called Mizani butter blend, didn't have any burning but now Im ready to see how long it can Really GROW

Gabriella Music: Loved this video, thank you I will try some of your tips especially stretching the relaxer and using no lye...thanks again hun

SW33TSPARKL3: Ur hair looks great girly!

gmcmim1: As a natural I find that a good number of black women go back and forth between having relaxed hair and natural. This girl transitioned from relaxed to natural. I was once one of those naturals who told relaxed haired women to go natural. Nowadays I fall back. At some point they go natural on their own anyway. Me if I want my hair straight I get a silk-press. There's actually a woman named Janay Mickles on YouTube who do silk presses. Her customers hair be looking softer, sleeker, and shinier than any relaxed haired woman. But if a black woman wants a relaxer that's her choice. Hair care is key.

clueless: I love this video. It will really help me with my hair 'cos last time I relaxed my hair I didn't look after it and it broke. So hopefully this works

Patience Kasere: This was such a helpful video thank you for helping black sisters like myself out ....my hair is past shoulder length and im strughling to make it grow past that length

Patricia Johnson: I’ve used relaxer since high school and the key is condition your hair with a good conditioner every time you wash your hair. I go under the dryer with my treatments and that’s how your able to have healthy hair with a relaxer.

Natasha Drew: Hey Rachel, excellent video! I loved it. My question is though, what products do you use on your new growth to soften it? That's my only struggle; mine becomes so dry, hard and unmanageable, then adding moisturizer makes my hair heavy and limp. Please recommend some products that u use which actually work!

Emy Emi: Hey ! Your hair looks so healthy ! I'm experiencing a setback right now, trying to get out of it... Will you show us your deep conditioning routine some day in the future ?

Grace: you don't know how good it makes me feel to see relaxed hair like this. knowing it's possible makes me soooooooo happy! wash routine pretty please

Gogontle Keletso: I think its awesome. Do what you want. Its your hair and its your life! To all the people that literally type in "relaxed hair care regimen" or whatever and *click on a video, scroll down to the comment section just to comment absolute rubbish : Please get over yourself and use the energy to better your life.

The Slayologist: I love your tips & advice! I noticed you said you perm your hair twice yearly. What do you think about those perming once quarterly?

Ashley Smith: I've been growing out my natural hair for well over a year now. I've relaxed my hair once in the last two years and my hair grows visibly every month so I definitely agree with you on not relaxing you hair every 6-8 weeks. My hair never grew when I did that. I make sure to go to the salon for a deep condition regularly.

Gab Nicole: I do like my hair, its just that I want it to be a little thicker. I've been researching a lot lately on how to get thicker relaxed hair, and every website/video has told me to stretch my relaxers. I currently relax my hair every 8 weeks (I get it professionally done). If I even go 9 weeks without a relaxer, my hair breaks off tremendously....

TheRelaxedHairShow: Beautiful. Thank you for this video. Great tips and advice.

Temilade: hair goal atm thanks for this x

Pyxelles: I really like your hair, it looks thick, moisturised and healthy. I've your hair doesn't appear over processed, you still retained some texture, it's not bone straight. Whoever does your hair, does a great job. I'm two years natural and might relax my hair down the line.

Dara Dare: Hair Goals <3 Thank you soo much for this. How regularly do you trim your ends?

R A: Really helpful video, thanks! :) Re the OGX shampoo & conditioner.. which would you say is better - the original with argan oil or the coconut one?

Semone G: Had my hair natural for 3 and a half years.....My hair is very 4c and it has become hard to manage ....so I went back to relaxe hair today..... We all have different type of hair texture so it would not be easy for everyone to go natural

Bodybydaisy Fitness: nice video - How long did it take your hair to grow ? i am also on my hair journey

Princesa Kimberly: im glad you made a whole video about this and spoke about it. imma speak about it on my channel too because you can relax your hair and get perms. it just depends how often you relax your hair/get perms, what you eat and what hair products help your hair type to grow. my hair has grown and I hadn't relaxed my hair in 6 months. I started air drying my hair during the summer which caused me to use less heat and maintain an essential hair creme called anti-breakage strengthening creme which helps grows your hair, ends and moisturizes your hair. I also do deep condition after shampoo once a week. there are lots of things you can do to grow your relaxed hair and honesty relaxed hair and natural hair go hand in hand because you go natural and get your hair relaxed again and go back to being natural which I see nothing wrong with it. The point is just to love your hair, do what's best for your hair and what's you know is best for you and don't worry about what anyone else says embrace other women's hair while also embracing your own. a few hair tips that hopefully will help my black women who get relaxers or have relaxed hair. •get a perm every 4-6 months (by the time you get a perm, you'll be surprised at the growth afterwords •don't brush your hair when it's wet •rinse water out of your hair, apply oil after conditioner I think? •apply grease, oil to your hair once it's halfway air dryed •when using heat, use protective heat styling products •wear protective hairstyles if you can or just rock your hair how it is, straight or curly •use coconut oil, argan oil, olive oil, shea butter, coconut butter •I personally use olive oil, anti breakage strengthening creme and argan oil YOU, YOUR SKIN AND YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL. New SUBSCRIBER

Mazuri Hair: I was watching another video, yours popped up, got my attention talking about hair relaxers, refreshing to hear someone in the UK talking about growing relaxed hair. You are so on point, much of the time why relaxed hair doesn't grow, is because the relaxer product has been misused on the hair, over lapping etc. I am not saying that because I make a great relaxer product but because, some people believe if the product its burning it not working, so not true. timing is everything when using a relaxer product, getting it on should time 8-10mins - 5 mins the work it through and smooth the roots before rinsing an following up with good reconstructions products, like the ones in your video. Well done!

IcedLipGloss: tips on how to thicken relaxed hair without stretching too long? my hair has been shedding and breaking SOOO much during the past few months and its really thinned out. idk why this is happening but it might be bc ive stretched for too long (its only been about 5-6 months but i guess my 4c new growth and relaxed ends dont mesh well) i really need help bc im not ready to go natural, i want to tex lax. also do you recommend texlaxing with a mild relaxer or using a reg strength relaxer for a shorter time

Kayla Ali: Before I went natural I just did not know how to take care of my hair. It went from super thick to short and uneven....If I had known....lol I wish I found you earlier...! But anyhow I practically had it when the very last time I permed it, it burned so much...and I got scabbed all over. It was horrible. Anyway...Nice to see that it's possible to maintain healthy permed hair! I wish I found you sooner :-) Your hair looks so nice. Peace.

Iva mae Adderley: I have worn my hair short for many years and now I plan to let it grow again, so i was watching this video for a few tips on growing my hair long again.

Tiffany Baker: Great tips! Thank you so much! :)

Shantaye Unique: Beautiful hair hun

Pretti 360: Thank you for the tips

GlamEsty: Great tips and advice hun tnx for sharing

Tash_ Dube: hair goals ....i recently started using virgin organic oils and they work amazingly,,,thank u

T’Yanna Taylor: The most I can leave my hair is for one month bcs it grows way too fast usually a week after I have done my hair. My hair grows already 5 inches

Sunshine Daisy: Your hair is so beautiful and healthy has a nice glow

Niya Harris: Im doing most of the tips mentioned except 2 crucial ones...less heat and protective styles. Gonna have to figure something out. Thanks for the tips and your makeup is beautiful!

Smiley_fuzzypants: I relax my hair every 8 week (without braids in my hair)

Mona Smith: Great video. I been natural for three years. Being natural is not for everyone especially for me. Looking forward going back to relaxing.

Pam: Thank you so much, this video has helped me out greatly!

Maame Gyamfua: Wow now I'm motivated that my hair shall grow again after watching this. And being a Ghanaian like me gave me extra encouragement. Thanks.

Aliyah Neal: I relax my hair every six weeks ... otherwise really hard for me to maintain ):

All Smiles: I think people all of a sudden who are bashing relaxed hair are so hypocritical. My mom relaxed my hair when I was in school, I really didn't have a say so what I know now I wish I knew then so I could have stayed natural. But I have come to a decision to stay relaxed until I die or unless my health is threatened by it. And btw all naturalistas your products also have chemicals in them as well.......STOP JUDGING!!!!!!

Alem Almaz: ive been natural for a year now i cut my bra strap length relaxed hair august 2016 hell i needed to do that too i felt like my hair kinda was like a clutch i needed a change im gonna relax my hair soon its mine its my choice thank you for the tips will sure try it out

Mogalakwena Shika: Thank you sooo much for this video. Really helpful

G Hay: what relaxer would you recommend for dry scalp?

bluebu: I'm 15 now and I'm planning to relax my hair as soon as I get out of braids because there's one style that I really want but it requires straight hair. I've never had a relaxer because I grew up knowing that they were bad for you and that you should never get them. So many natural girls go from extremely unhealthy relaxed hair to beautiful natural hair and they always say "Stop relaxing" but then again they just had a very bad relaxing experience. You and many other YouTubers proved that you can have beautiful, long, and healthy relaxed hair. Now I'm not afraid to get one.

Helen Yonas: Thank you I relax my hair every six months my hair is the same length as yours

Karlee Craziness: I don't relax any more but I enjoyed this video :)

India: Great video!!!!!! I’m considering relaxing again. Thank you

Sinead Soreya: thank you for the video will let you know a month after how my progress goes. I also wanted to know how you make you hair thicker/ volume I would love help with thickening my hair. I currently use black and beautiful hair relaxer for children as my hair/ scalp is super sensitive.

Pamm Meee: If you only relax your hair, how do you maintain it during the rest of the year???

A N: Your hair is beautiful! What do you use to keep your edges laid flat? x

Maggie Magnoli: You are so beautiful! My sister has permed hair and I'm definitely sharing this video with her.

Atirec McClellan: The natural trend isn't for everyone and I know it's not for me. Also I keep my hair well conditioned and I keep my hair trimmed even if I have to do it myself. Thirdly I no longer use heat at all I throw it back in a pony and keep it pushing.

Lami S: I know you’re gone natural but would be super helpful for me to know!.. did you used to moisturise and oil daily? And if so with which product? I find this is hit and miss as sometimes the hair gets over moisturised

RobMob Tv: Beautiful hair

Nomena R: Hi! Just found your channel, new subbie!! Thanks for the tips, very informative and helpfull wish my hair will be like yours!! Sorry for my english, I'm from France

French Fries: TFS this info and the products u use. I dont usually see videos on how to grow/care for RELAXED hair - so thank you.

Leah Chengo Butala: This is so helpful..thank you!! I can’t keep natural hair cz my hair is so stubborn, I would have a headache combing it everyday..

Gloria Sarp: nice i went natural a year ago, my relaxed hair never grew stayed the same length for many years got fed up with it so i cut it all off lol

Gabby McCall: Love your video! Could you go into detail on what order and how often you use each of the products you mentioned? Thanks!

Keniesha Peoples: And with any hair, you have to trim it for it to grow. Hair does grow, no matter what you do to it. You just have to know how to properly maintain your hair. It's a lot of things we all do that's dangerous for our hair. You just gotta know how to take care of it !

coco chanel: your beautiful and your hair is too.and not one female can say anything bad.I'm going to be real the reason why blk women's hair falls out bc they over process and they don't put in the effort like they honestly should in their head like they should.they don't take the proper care.

Galaxi: That is impossible for me. My hair ends have always been brittle and break easily.

xave: this is wonderful well explain i love it,will try it

J Tuggs: Thank you Mary J I completely agree with you, and I don't understand why some women are against women who get a relaxer its our business if that's what we want and its working out go for it! why spend hundreds of dollars on hair that's not ours I mean come on, there is nothing wrong with a relaxer I get one and my hair is long and healthy but I got teased about it. Who gets a relaxer in this day and age and its bad for u etc like shut the F up and let me live my life. The lady that talked crap to me always wear a weave I asked her and why do u never wear your own hair smh. Us as a race need to stop putting each other down and just do what's best for us ☺
