Fan Bun | Top Knot Bun | Protective Hairstyles On Relaxed Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. My name is danielle and i hope you're all doing well. So in today's video i'm just going to give you two bun tutorials. As you know, i'm on this, like no manipulation, slash protective hair styling journey at the moment. Just want to see what works for me and what doesn't work for me, so i'm going to give you a tutorial on these two buttons, okay, so let's get in to the video. So this is my hair air dry. As you know, i'm at the moment just working on air dry hair, i'm not really using heat, i'm trying to just limit the amount of heat i use in my hair and also it is too hot for heat. So there's no point me putting any hair heat tools in my hair, so this is what it looks like air dry. I will do a tutorial. I think, actually just to show you how i air dry, my hair but yeah. This is it air dry? So, let's get in the hairstyle, so the first product i'm going to use is my olive oil moisturizer. I really really really like this moisturizer. It'S a very thick and creamy one, just gon na section, my hair, because in the scent of my hair, really needs moisturizing. So i'm just gon na section it off and really moisturize it so i've moisturized all my hair and sewed it it's just that it was feeling really dry, especially in the roots. That'S why i sectioned it up, because i just want to make sure i get in the roots. So if you are making sure you're getting roots, definitely section up your hair. So now i'm going to show you the hairstyle, so first, what we're going to do is called the fan bun tutorial so yeah. It should look like a sort of fan sort of shape and then what you want to do, you're going to get your bobby pins. Then you're just going to pin it up in the place just to secure it. So it's mainly you know this long tie bit, so i'm just going to wrap it around to the back and just pin up. So this is the first hairstyle. So if you want a more sleek look, i will say: use the jam gel, but on my second hair, so i'm going to show you with the jam gel to make it sleeker but yeah. This is the hair style. Nice easy simple out the way not on your face, not out not down, but it still looks nice and cute. Okay. Now i'm going to show you my second one and that's like the top knot bun. So it's kind of similar, but it's just more of a different look, so that one was more fuller out this one's going to be really more tight. So because i want a more sleekier look, i'm going to use the let's jam gel in regular hold just really smoke it down, so this is winter shop is called a top-notch one. I always call it one, but it's just a nice little bun, which is out of the way so you've got either the fan bun or this one is the top knot one but yeah i just like a bun hairstyles. You can wear little earrings like this. I prefer more simple earrings or you can wear more hoops or bigger earrings, just to really accessorize it, because your hair's not out so it's just up to you how you want with your accessories but yeah.
