Hi everyone and welcome back to another video, so space video is all about relaxed vs. Tech Specs here and - and it's really about helping you to decide which is the best preferred choice for you, and I do get asked questions about. You know what you take sex. What is the best is where that's best is text expert and because I have text sex here and people want to know. You know what the benefits are of that so I've. What I put together this video comparing them both to help you to decide which is the best choice for you? Okay, so I'm going to go through the pros and cons and give you the breakdown of those okay. So we're going to start off with the pros of relaxed pair, so the pros are, is that the hair is easier to comb style and manage. There are a lot more cons and those coins are is that it breaks down the protein bonds in the hair. It makes the hair weak it's more prone to damage and breakage. It damages the less acidity of the hair, so it's less likely to maintain or hold curly hairstyles very well, and it gives the hair a thinner appearance. So that is the pros and the cons for relaxed hair. Moving on to tech slacks here the pros are it provides you a pickup for that more volumize hair, it's stronger and it's much healthier option for your hair, it's less prone to damage and breakage. You have better elasticity, so it holds curly hairstyles very well. It doesn't completely break down the protein bonds in the hair and you have more of your natural hair texture. So, moving on to the cons, the cons are: there's a variety of different textures which can result in tangle with and breakage it's difficult to manage when manipulating and styling, and it can be difficult to achieve the same texture. Each time you relax your hair and especially when you put it on your hair, sometimes you might have some curls that are more defiant, more curly, maybe a bit more loose. So, as I said, it can be a bit difficult to manage your different textures and so yeah. That is the pros and cons. I hope that has been useful to you got any question: do post them below and other than that. I will see you on the next video thanks for watching bye.

Stephanie P: I have been textlaxed for about 9 months and I can tell my hair is so much healthier versus being relaxed. it does not shed nearly as much and it is much softer. I don't think I will ever go back to being relaxed. great video.

sterries: Thank you for this video. I must say that you have to be my favorite hair guru on YouTube because you a very knowledgeable, you are straight to the point, and you don't ramble. All of your videos are so well organized, and your hair always looks amazing. I just had to thank you and let you know that you are doing a great job! :)

NubbyG05: Clear, Concise, Very informative!

Golda's treasures: Love this.straight to the point and very informative

Michiko Bursey: Thank you pretty young lady for describing relaxed hair pros and cons, and texlaxed hair pro and cons. Some people cannot deal with managing and stying their 4c hair. If you have little patience, heat stylng (blow drying or press and curl) may be for you. Or relaxing or texlaxing the hair might work for you. Me though have tried hair relaxers and my hair was very damaged. So now i am considering texlaxing my hair.

LuckyK7777: LOL, this has always been my hair after years of relaxing! I always have to run a hotcomb through my relaxed hair and it looks bushy and natural if I don't deep condition it.

Black Pink: Do you think I should pre poo more when my hair is relaxed? Should I also co wash and use cleansing conditioner more as well so that I don't dry or damage hair too much?

Nicole Lawrence: Thanks for the video, great!!! Started my hair Journey June this year thanks for all your video leaned a whole lot about hair and picked up great tips from yourself and other videos. Your hair always looks amazing healthy and in great condition. Where can I get my hands on your hair book please?

lovejesus12012: I had textlaxed hair but I find it very hard to maintain consistency in the curl when I would relax. hence I would have some parts straighter than others. it's tricky to maintain the texture in textlaxed hair but it's fuller. anyway I'm having to switch to relaxed

Marissa Spooner: I had my hair like this before then I went to a new hairdresser who relaxed my hair and I haven't relax my hair since July and I currently have a a lot of new growth can I do this even if I have somewhat relaxed ends?

Sheree Morgan: It also depends on how much time, you leave the product on your hair. For me 10 minutes and mines is straight. And also what the strength if the product.

Ally D: Hi, nice vid, do u know how long u should wait if transitioning from relaxed hair to texlaxed hair?

Alma: Thank you i appreciate a short video that goes to the point

French Fries: I'm due a retouch (relaxed hair) still very think and bsl but I'm definitely gonna Texlax next time round bcos it gets dry very quickly. Thanks!

Ella Ebong: Hello! I was just wondering is that your natural hair in this video? and if no, what hair is it you use? Because my hair just wont go straight with no-lye relaxers and but my scalp is very very sensitive so I'm too scared to use a lye relaxer. If I texlax my hair what hair brand (for pick n drop or tracks) would you recommend that will look natural like yours? Thank you! Great video btw!

Lovely.Lavish.Leo: Very helpful

Bonnie J: After you relax your hair, do you shampoo or co-wash a week later?

Diamond Mayfield: What do you think of the mid protein step? Have you ever tired it?

mzblackpearlz: Great info! Great Video!

Jazzy Jay21: so I was gonna wait 2 months to relax my whole head but I don't know if that's a good idea!!!

kayla louise: Hey thanks for the video what relaxer do u use ?

AshleyNicole: Ahh you took the plunge! Your texlaxed hair was so prettyyy!!

Ogechi Charis: Hi i have a question can you transition from telax to natural hair

Fatima Ahmed: which is better for new hair journey beginners, with really short, strong and damaged hair?

Jayarie: I read this article once stating that texlaxed people may have dryer hair because of the early washing out, basically it was stating because the hair is in an in between state rather than fully curly or fully straight. Is this true?

Afroblu Atlanta: good info, thanks.

James Bennett: Can I add olaplex, which will delute the relaxing chemical, to the relaxer and use a timer to achieve the same texture within the same timed application each time I texlacks my hair to help insure consistency of hair textures from multiple applications?

Ariel Davis: How is it less prone to breakage as a pro, but can result in breakage as a con.

Floritah K: Hello sister, can I use s curl for my natural hair to be texlax

Bonnie J: I was wondering what shampoo and conditioner do you use now?

Bj Woods: love it an ur videos

Jazzy Jay21: i textlaxed my hair for the first time but i dont like how my naural ends look like what if i only relaxed my ends i really dont know what to do?

Danyellg: I'm confused about what texlaxed is? it is relaxed right?

Nahra: that British accent

Sun Shine: How does one texlax? Like just less relaxer or just don’t put it on for that much time? Now when I look at 4b 4a hair I wonder is it just texlax

Claudia Nyame: What products can be used to texlax

angiesvlog: you're stunning

Michelle: I’ve never heard of texlaxed.

Emma: If my hair is already relaxed , can I texlax them?

Alaina C.: Am i the only one that finds texlax hair is very dry
