Trying My First Curly Headband Wig From Amazon | Protective Hairstyles For Relaxed Hair | Denaj

My lovelies welcome and welcome back to my channel, where i break down the fundamentals of my hair care. If you're new here my name is dina and of course we talk everything relaxed, hair. Today'S video we're going to be getting you into the deets girl of this hair yeah. You thought it was mine in it. It ain't mine, it's amazon's, but today we're getting into the details, how i install it unboxing the whole works. So, if that's something that you want to see girl keep on watching, hey guys, so before we get into the actual video i'm going to share with you the unboxing process. Of course i've won this wig several several times before today, but i managed to capture the unboxing live on camera. So i'm going to share that with you and also share with you the contents of what's in the wig, hey guys. So, as you can see, i got two sets of packages, one being a set of headbands, which i'll explain a little later, and here is the actual package that the wig came in. So let's unpack and go through the contents. So i purchased this wig and the headbands, but the wig in particular, from this seller called visit, the belukey store and in the contents of the package we first have a wig cap and the wig cap. The wig cap comes with a few instructions. I didn't use the with the wig cap, however, but feel free to utilize it if you have need for it. It also came with this headband and just from the design. I suppose you can see why i decided to get a separate pack of headbands. The wig itself now came in this clear sort of ziploc bag packaged efficiently or packaged good to secure the wig. And here i am removing a hair net from the actual wig and, as you can see, there's some white stuffing inside of the wig, i suppose to keep the form of it. So now i begin to sort of fluff the wig detangle it a little bit and on first impressions i experienced some shedding. I definitely got some shedding, but i suppose that is quite normal. It is my first wig, my first headband wig, so um. I was a little alarmed, but i think that it's quite normal. I also didn't particularly like the ends. I thought that the ends looked a bit stringy and you know when we're in the relaxed hair care world. We like thick ends but anyways. Here i am showing you the clips, so there are three clips at the front and two clips at the back and, of course, the actual headband that has velcro that that is used to fasten the wig onto your head. So the actual band was quite soft. I have to say so. These are the additional headbands that i got. I will leave all the information below about the seller, but i thought that it had quite a bit of variety in terms of styles and patterns, and i got some plain ones as well and look at how efficient they are with this packaging. This packaging can actually can actually be used to store away the wig. So that's a plus, let's get right into how i how i go about installing this wig okay, so first things first, what we want to do is to try and get our hair back in a ponytail or a bun um right now. My hair is freshly washed and deep conditioned and just ensure that before you go through any protective style at all that your hair is nicely moisturized. I think it's important. Maybe it goes without saying that this these headband wigs are not something that you wear for extended periods, you put it on for an event or you put it on for the day and then in the evening, make sure you remove it, because the clips can be Very damaging to your hair. Now i'm laying my ponytail flat on my head just so that the wig doesn't appear bulky at the back and i'm just going to use some bobby pins to just secure it so that it doesn't move bearing in mind that it doesn't have to look perfect. Why? Because it's going to be covered by the wig right, okay, so step number one is complete step number two now is the focus on your edges girl. Once your edges look nice and laid the wig is just going to come together, even more natural looking. So for those of you who are in the swoop gang girl, i didn't get to graduate from super academy, but this is your time to shine and do some nice, curls and swoops with your edges. Alright, so edges are done. That'S step two now it's time to just install the wing. The first thing that you want to do is ensure that the wig covers the back of your hair. Once that's done, it's a matter of just securing the wig comfortably on your head. Now remember. I spoke about the clips. This is so important guys because these clips are not dull, they are so sharp and they can definitely tug and snap at your hair. So be very careful and be very gentle with it. If you have a part in your hair, try to line up the natural part of your wig with the actual headband, that's it now we're going to fasten it properly with the actual headband. So right now i'm just utilizing the velcro, but for those of you who have trust issues girl, my hair pin, i'm definitely using that to add a little bit more security, so that i know when i'm out girl, it's not moving. So here we go at this point. You can just check the mirror to make sure that all of your hair is underneath the headband and just secure it behind of your ear as well all right, so the wig is installed. So we're looking for definition and to get that definition, you have to spray the hair. So i have my misting bottle right here and i'm going to start spraying my hair spray. Until everything is saturated, you don't want wet here. You don't want dripping wet here. You just want your hair to be wet enough right, so once your hair is still done, i go in with my foam wrap and i'm using the ors olive oil hold and shine wrap set mousse. Of course you can use whatever product you have, but this is what i have. Some persons would use like: curling creams, curling custards, some people even use. You know eco styler gel, but this is what i have, and this is what i'm going to be using today. Tell me why water is coming out. Okay, now i'm getting four! That'S the thing with these mousses. You know like some hits and misses yo right, so i just massage that through my hair get a little bit more and sure to get it on my ends as well and at the back on top, and you want to do some more scrunching and what this Does is that it really just helps to keep the curls nice and coily and creates a little bit more definition as well. So, of course, i just continue to scrunch in the oris formless into my hair. Until you know it looks, alright ultimate looks, like you know, a little wet look which i quite like to be fair. So let me just try and straighten out this band. Okay, so we're pretty much done when their completion we're just gon na go through and just select different headbands and put on just so, you can see how it all pulls together. You know what this is not even giving on a true depiction of how it really is at the potential of it that my face needs to be done.
