GENIE xo

Hi guys welcome back to my channel this video is going to be my relaxed-fit update, number five and six yeah, but I love this video. What right so! First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone that has supported my channel and has supported my hair journey. Didn'T comment on my YouTube with my relaxed hair journey, actually helpless, beep any negative criticism or any negative comments at all. If you haven't seen my no heat challenge and a dryer technique, one government to do many - and I didn't that - will be the last video that you've seen of me with my hair out my last wood axe always six weeks ago, Friday, the 9th of December - and I was tending to first. This was my relax off from my notion challenge after that, relax I'll, admit, update you guys and say: okay, these. This was how much my hair grew. This is what I experienced on it. This is why I like one, why I didn't like after that relaxer I knew there would be some damage and that damage like it threw me off. Like I was thinking. Are you feeling room so I didn't. I didn't feel any videos part. I was under a lot of stress with uni bright, my dissertation, which is not funded in by the way. Thank you Jesus all my hair. Okay, not all of it, I'm over-exaggerating, a lot of my hair has broken off. No, I don't. I'M gon na show you guys in this video, but I will show you guys the progression of my journey the last year since I came onto YouTube. I want to happen to quickly in you skip it in my lady challenge, video right. When I'm air drying, you can see that the front of my head is broken, I'm going to insert the video right, you know, and when a circle or put a line on where you can see where the breakage start to happen. That was my third wash into my net heat challenge and my hair ready started breaking in my third wash. This is what I'm thinking the reason why my hair Brooke was because, as I said from my whole journey, I have many lines of demarcation front. My hair, because I started to under process in my hair and take that to my hair by accident, and even when I noticed I'd done that I don't want to change. I still was slightly under Prosek thing, not as much as I did before. From my YouTube doing it, I thought, wasn't even Murdoch's on drying off. I noticed that in that video as well, so I will put the clips. I noticed that my hair was under processing. You know how I always showed you guys that I have short bits in the front of my hair. I was thinking - okay, maybe that's just the short bit, but that worked out. That was the short bits thinking wrong, but that was a short fix, broken off. Even here, like the front of my hair, is like this short: no joke course it doesn't stand up, it hangs down, but no joke the front of my hair. Is this short? So basically, my hair broke at the demarcation lines in the front of my hair. You know I always said the front of my head is the most textured. All of my hair around the front has not snapped off to like this alone. I'Ve noticed the back there's still a bit breakage, like my hair's, just doing a bit of a wobble walk when I relaxed my hair six weeks ago, I cut my hair. I did it even film it. I tried to film my hair before I cut it, so I'm gon na try and start some kids here of me, showing that the length of my hair in my nose each challenge. I don't think I cut off all the breakage, though. Basically, I went through my hair, each layer and I snipped and then also I'd, pushed all my hair to the front and then snips like this as wide honest and for my relapse, help get number three. That'S why I've done as well, and it looks you know it's telling me this time. I don't think I chopped high enough and I wasn't sure if I wanted to jump high enough because I was delivering. I can't win a good. I might go to professional and get my hair cut anywhere, like my hair was harder to come during the new talents because of my different textures and my hair was air dried. I didn't do any manipulation during the challenge. I didn't do twists on spray that I was meant to, but I just time got a hold of me and I was meant to, but I didn't do any of that stuff. So all I kept doing was was combing it and leaving it to dry and then wrapping it, and I think that's what was breaking my hair. I was thumbing leapin it in my hair of that make sense and I was wrapping it and even it was dry and it was cause. I was wrapping it and do the snick wrap and I think that's what was snapping it at the demarcation line. It'S that obviously, but they it's still a hair journey. My hair's gon na break my hair's gon na drag. My hair is gon na be chopped. My hair's gon na be cut whatever, so I'm kind of over it right now. So again, I'm kind of back to square one. My hair is thin overall again, like there's been times in my hair journey, where I thought this breakage is just like. I'M all extremes experiencing breakage. Am I not taking care of my haircut? Am I not moisturizing it enough luck? Cuz. I always say that my hair is dry, but then okay, excellent, moisture overland, so that, what's going on, there could be other reasons for breakage like, and I wanted to do a video on this. But health plays a big part in hair care in terms of all you eating properly. Is your diet good, which my diet is actually the best internal problems like? Are you low on I in on you, live on certain vitamins and minerals that could lead to breakage? Like I am deficiency can lead to breakage and I've been known and before I've been low in vitamin C before, sometimes I could be lowering it and I don't do a test to nurse I could be not. I could be low on it to what period of time I've done a blood test to see if I was anemic and I'm not anemic, but I can't get long iron. I don't think I've mentioned it in terms of hair care, but I do have eczema. It'S just within your system because everyone says oh, like I didn't see it like a magazine muster. I don't have to layer up for that, make sense um. Obviously I do like you can see on my hands. Like throwing my hand, a dress. Bands are very dry, but you can see my hands like. I have flare-ups right so cool. I don't have exhuming in my hair but of the parking lots because of stress again. Another thing stress can break your hair, but because of stress for me, stress makes my eczema flare up, so I won't put Exuma theater for my face. It'S never been on my face before, like maybe my not areas, but it's never flared up for my face before and this point it was on my forehead. It was like guys I was going through a lot yeah, so why I start to notice my hairline started to itch and like it's likely actually in, like my edges type thing with pitching because of my Zima. I was saying please good. I do not want eczema to go in my head, like I do not because I've heard people have psoriasis and eczema in their hair and scalp and stuff like that, and it causes itchy flaking very sensitive, irritated scalp, which you know I mean, and I did not Want nothing like I was playing as I like. Relaxing my hair, I love relaxing my hair. Obviously I kind of sorted my face. It goes in my situation and every time again, I do feel like sometimes is a bit hmm, and you know when that first starts to happen. I was worried because I needed to relax even here two weeks later, but Alec. If, if it means we're not relaxing, then I would loan it out to not relax and I would sort out my face irritation. My facing see more like I was going to sort it out first, before a relaxed of course that I will never. I was I'll. Never damage myself and whatever could exist, could smell accident damaging any robot? Do you get what I mean like? I won't do something knowing it's gon na cause more harm like if I bought exhume or going into my hairline, like I'm, not gon na relax, my hair and put acid on my. Do you get what I mean stupid so actually, when I was happening, I was doing the Britain on. If I needed to go natural or not or if I was didn't, then I thought I think at this moment in time I would only go natural if it was due to health issues like I said, examine going into my scalp. If I, if I freeze doctor, have like if the relaxer really start to irritate me like things to do with health, even though the relaxer again it's bad for your health anyway, you know I'm not trying to disregard that, but if, like I was forced to do It then I won't try and go against out. I won't do it. You know I mean so I need to keep an eye out on that, but again so leading onto that stress and for me it's the stress can cause breakage and I feel, like a stress, is causing some of my breakage as well. I think there are times where I'll be thriving and there are times where my hair will break so right. Now I'm not going that wrong, but I basically changed my relaxer to use our need for a blend. Sensitive scalp, relax on that be careful because there's a lot of different mazzani relaxes and like they change their formula and stuff that I almost walked. Mazzani'S sensitive scalp, relax or no. I wanted the butter blend to the sensitive scalp. This is the books where you get four, but I bought the last one in the box and they just gave me the book by David Young. I saved a little application container and also on activate it all save got a blend and then it's got a little thing on the lid. You don't get clarifying shampoo or any other little bits and bobs is literally the relaxer cream and then the activator. That'S all you get underneath and a little stick. I still use my ORS neutralizing shampoo, the green one to neutralize the relaxer and stuff like that. I want to use that one, so basically the relaxer after my no heat challenge, I use this relaxer. Obviously, I'm gon na try and do any water, I'm gon na try and watch my diet. So again, my friends going. This is the third video from today I'm really trying to catch up. You know what it's very very hard to me me. I graduate in five months God please. I can't wait like I graduate in five months, so I personally think that off the Union, my hair will thrive because I'll be our working stress that calms chest now I'll have more time to watch my diet like imma. Listen. I always have time to do my hair, but doing my hair and taking care of myself there's two different things and I thought like I'm not taking care of myself, probably but yeah. So it's change my relaxing and I think guides I'm actually gon na go to it professional. The reason why I didn't go to professional before was it was because I didn't know anyone or I hadn't. I had heard of anyone in London that would cater to not only black hair but relaxed hair. All I know is these little shops that will cut off your hair too much or that will leave the relaxer on long or whatever, but not gon na rise over the last few months, I have seen this hair salon on Instagram that's in London and that I Could get to you and that cater to black hair, natural hair and relaxed hair and their results always look amazing guys, I'm so excited professional, hair, calm or trim one of the two whatever they can do with this mess that I've got right now if they can, Like I don't mind getting my hair into a bob, like I don't mind, cuz my hair, my hair's rocky here anyway, I don't mind going. I don't know how and look like be another part of Bob that I don't know that that back of Bob's are like here do not mean so I don't mind the back being like here, but that's think I can't even do them folks when it comes to The front because the front of my head is all broken, so I can do them bobs that come nice like this, like that, won't work, so I don't know whatever they can do with this, like God, please I don't think I look good would like a really Short it I picked a poor big hit. I'Ve got a big head, so no pics of cuts. For me it picks the car look good on me. I would do it, but it doesn't look good on me because I've got a big head. I'Ve them talk to them and you know figure out my options, but if I need a your car everything to do, whereas a style or whether it's Blanco, whatever thing to do to get off all the dead and thin ends, that's why I won. I could just start going to them to get my relaxers done and my trims and haircuts that's the thing. Obviously, I've never been to a hair salon before to get a relaxer diamond I've. Never let anyone in my hair other than other than my family. I think my hair could draw a lot more. If I go to professional back, I need to black him here in four weeks. Chuckling go to them in four weeks: relax my hair, buy them and get it cut. The salon is quite expensive. I don't mind investing in my hair coach. That'S one thing. I do not mind spending money on if I know quality's good, it works for my hair, blah blah blah. I don't mind spending money like joy, Co, hair products. I will spend that 15 pounds on a 250 milliliter bottle of conditioner. I know that my hair will come out. Looking luscious live it's happening, I don't know if it even told you guys that I've reduced my 3 month relaxer to 10 weeks. Basically, that's just two weeks away from three months because I feel like my hair was better. I saw less breakage from trying to stretch to pre-much. I love a thing that I've started to do with not add oils to magic, conditioner and guys. I'Ve seen a difference in terms of how the product absorbs into my hair. I feel like me, added coconut oil, grape seed oil, avocado oil to make up castor oil, glycerin and all of this stuff, as well as the conditioner it. It masks the conditioner and it was full of oil that remember, I'm not sham coming out. So after I did conditioned, I start to blow John whatever. So then, all my hair has all of that oil and all of that conditioner in my hair, even though I rinsed it out with water from the years, I've noticed adding a bit of olive oil to a deep conditioner, really boosts it. This has now progressed into me, adding five different oils I mean and all black, maybe essential oil or maybe some honey that me mixing up and stop. So now I'm gon na strip back to the basics and just deep conditioned would my deep conditioner and I'm not going to add anything to it and, for example, master de Paul that the ORS repairing conditioner, that obviously works wonders with olive oil or women added oil. But I used it twice right. The last two washes about anything and my hair was so soft as well like it was softer than when I added all of the other oils to it. So I'm just gon na see how that is. Is war? That'S where I'm at right now I'm excited to go to the hair salon. I hope they can do something with what I've got. I'M going to show you guys in this video I want. My hair looks like berryhill mine. I need to wash my hair tomorrow, which means my hair is greasy right now, my hair's we're done and it's stringy. So this is what it looks like, but it's not really what it looks like at its best at this moment in time. If that makes sense to not keep this video any longer, am I going to continue to air dry? Probably not. I don't think I'm going to air dry until my temperature is completely transitioned out and I do think air drying did help my hair growth, but at the same time my hair broke. My sister keeps saying to try air drying but chat apparently twists or something so you're, not touching it and combing it every day, because hence that was what was breaking off. My hair me coming and stop as it was air dried. But again I noticed when I was at air drying. My hair was extremely extremely dry, so that can vary much much be. What I'm going to continue to do is straighten and blow-dry. So that is my no. He challenge update slash black hair of this advant six flash styling you headed like yes, I hope you guys are doing the video. I hope this wasn't too long sweet you gots to you, I'm going to show you guys my hand, quick, quick, quick, oh yeah,

GENIE: Thank you for all your support ❤️ and lovely comments! I am excited to say I finally got my HAIR CUT! ✂️ Check out my new update: https://youtu.be/Qk_QlUfeSAw ️

Independant Observer: From my experience.. tightly coiled and coarse hair must be either properly straight or natural... the inbetween or texlaxing is a recipie for severe breakage... stay well hun

Silverline's Beauty Playbook: So sorry honey, trust me, i understand the frustration. It's a journey and everyone's journey is different. If you love having relaxed hair then don't give up on it. Regroup and try again

The Healthy Hair Diary: Genie! I feel your pain. This was me in 2016 and I went from bra strap length to neck length. It was down to me self relaxing, under processing and trying to airdry with about 5 different demarcation lines throughout the length of my hair. I've stopped self relaxing and am also no longer trying to texlax and only now is my hair starting to thrive again. If I air-dry, I follow up with blow drying my hair with cold air but I prefer to just blow dry with cold air just to be on the safe side as I still have slight texture from when I was self relaxing. You could try finding a hair dryer that has a cold air setting which gives you a straighter look it's just takes slightly longer to dry each section . I will be following your recovery and rooting for you! You can have a cute style for spring/summer and be surprised how much your hair grows by October this year ❤️

osimeon00: This is what miseducation does. All these lies and fear about heat being spread from the natural community to the relaxed has caused everybody to freak out over using it when it's really your friend when properly used. Smh.

Fi: Hey Genie, ahhh i know how it feels. At times like this i just remind myself, its just hair, it will grow again. Hoping the best for ur hair journey. xoxox

Sabrina Latrese: Hang in there I’m dealing with the same thing but it will grow back. I have tried to go natural 3 times it was really hard for and that’s why I went back to the relaxer.

dorcas glaydor: Wow, Genie! I am so sorry you're going thru this. I am also experiencing hair fall, and I don't know why, but I share your frustration. But, your hair looks good. Keep pressing on, we will have healthy hair, by the end of the year Cheers, girl

Tyiece: oh no, sorry this happened. I've never had a perfect hair journey either. Always up and down. I feel like my relaxed hair is finally taking off in length retention and now my scalp is acting up. It's so frustrating, can I win? lol. My ends are already thinning in the back from not relaxing in a long time. My hair can't take long long stretches due to my curl pattern being super tight.

AbsoluteMdot: I have relaxed hair and I use very little heat and my hair has been growing. I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Tasha TakeATimeOut: Momma your hair doesn't look that bad you just need a good trim and moisture have you looked into aphogee products they really stop breakage and I use the green tea restructurizer spray almost every day for moisture followed by a oil to seal. I have relaxed hair I've been using these products for years and my girls are natural and use them too. But I think you may be too hard on yourself your hair still looks ok

Divine Duo: It sucks not knowing how your hair will react to change. Im sorry you had to go through this setback, but you seem to know what went wrong and it’s time for the recovery mode. Don’t give up. Your journey is identical to many other relaxed girls, including me. You’ll definitely bounce back, just keep it simple and do what works for you. You should download the “Hair Journey” app!! You can literally document everything you do. When I get a set back I look back to my app and see what I’ve changed. Keep it up, we are with you on your new journey

Carlinha: I relate to what happen with you. stay positive hair grows :)

Linda Flagg, MA, BCPCLC: Thank You. The Team Natural Movement needs to understand, If this is the only problem you have "Going Natural or Relaxed" you don't have a problem. It's just hair people, Relaxed or natural, it’s not that serious. Cancer is serious, a child on his or her deathbed is serious, getting diagnosed with HIV is serious, but going natural or deciding to relax your hair, I don't think so! That is a problem some people wish they had "HAIR" (ask someone who has lost all their hair because of cancer or some other condition). Thank You Jesus For Hair! Thank You And God Bless!

carolynjo2578: I am not mad at u at all!! I am just so mad that ur hair broke off!!! I was really rooting for ur hair.. and I really appreciated ur updates.. I know ur hair can only go up from here.. God bless sis...

anon amous: There should be choice. It's not just one way. That's what should be the goal. Not telling people their traitors. Or acting disappointed. It's their hair. They should have freedom to do whatever they want with it whether that's wigs, weaves, relaxed, natural. To insist that every black woman should wear it natural is taking away their freedom to have choices.

Kaishalarissa: When I was fully relaxed I would always stretch for 6 months and only my mum or hairstylist would be the only two people to touch my hair. I managed to grow my hair just above bra strap length and then stopped relaxing due to being stressed at work and my eczema flaring up on my scalp so couldn't relax. I was so far gone with my relaxer I just decided to transition. I'm now 13 months post and love it. Everyone has set backs and you can definitely bounce back from it. Your hair is gorgeous regardless, it will get better. Like you said, a good diet, drinking lots of water and regular deep conditioning is a girls best friend! ❤

Rivy O: I don’t think it’s the heat. It’s the relaxer, it’s wayyyy to strong of a chemical to mess up on. Self relaxing is definitely the cause, and not having a set routine. I would just recommend to cut a short bob, and transition to natural. You can try keratin treatments.

Andreia Sofia: it's crazy what stress can do to you... Diet has such a big impact on skin as well as hair. Sometimes working internally rather than externally can be helpful. I hope you can find a solution x

pinkivy20: If your relaxing your hair, stretch your relaxer. Have at least 3 months of new growth. Also, roller wrap your hair. Blow drying and flat ironing relaxed hair every week is too much and will cause damage.

Enn Vee: I tried air drying for a year and i realized it made my hair thinner and broken Ughh i guess im low porosity/heat trained.

MRS. W.O.: Yup, relaxers ruined my hair over time. Natural hair works best for me and my hair goals.

L: Get a corrective relaxer, wash with mane and tale moisturising shampoo, try Schwarzkopf omegaplex conditioner (leave on for a couple mins and comb through just before rinsing - trust me you will not regret using it). Then apply the original silicon mix leave in and follow up with wells luxe oil (detangles like a BOSS and smells divine - about 4/5 should do for your hair). Comb it all back into a ponytail and lay a scarf over the front of your hair to lay down edges. Try to give a few hours for it to get dry/mostly dry while you're awake. Keep it covered overnight in a ponytail and see the difference. Your hair will fee soft and look shiny. You will be able to comb through most of your hair but maybe not the bit where your ponytail meets the band, however don't rip the comb through it! Simply where your hair in a low bun and keep it moving. When you next wash and use the omegaplex those tangles will melt away as you comb out.

Latisha: If you stop relaxing your hair, it will break where the 2 textures meet. Same thing happened to me when I grew out the bleached section of my hair. All the blonde ends snapped in the back.

Amy: I’m at square one too honey I cut my hair off last month and this is my 4th time everyone’s hair journey is different and your long hair will flourish when it’s ready ❤️ as you said diet can play a part and that’s my issue and stress has played such a major part in my hair journey xx

Brittney R.: I tried to go back to relaxing my own hair, then realized that a professional is just better for the relaxer process. I think you need to go to a professional, they can b relax it.... You can take care of the rest. As far as breakage, as a relaxed hair lady you will experience that especially if you don't have thicker hair strands... You just want to reduce it as much as possible.

SisSamy: Ok so I used to use the mizani relaxer as well and the first year or two my hair flourished it was shiny, smooth and straight. It was was way better than the box perms I used in the past. However, fast forward two years into it and my hair got soooo thin and started breaking off!!!! I didn't change anything as far as products and it wasnt stress because back than I didn't have real problems lol. I had to cut off all my hair and am currently natural with the plans to relax by the end of 2018. I'm like you I look way better with relaxed hair and I can't keep with up the care of natural hair for too long. That mizani perm is so strong and my hairdresser used to use super because my hair is very resistant. I'm thinking of going with Affirm when I perm my hair later thing year. Mizani got your girl so scared lol. I wish you the best of luck. You will grow your hair long because you care for it! Toodles

caramel dale: If you are using box relaxers, then you could have calcium buildup on your strands. That will cause dryness and breakage. Try a chelating shampoo.

Sapphire Relaxed Hair: I'm so sorry this happened to you while you are on your hair care some of us had struggles without hair care with products, overlapping, and so on but I was just say keep things very basic find out what your hair likes and find out what your hair dislike keep a record of everything that you do to your hair I don't care what it is write it down and then under that you can write how your hair react to that product or oil you get what I'm saying this is what I'm doing I record everything that I do to my hair and if something happens within the next few days or a week then I can go back and look at that always look at your ingredients as well because there may be something that may not like your type of hair it can be that one ingredient but you really have to pay attention to your hair so my advice to you if you love your relaxed hair then start over try it again find a relaxer that is very gentle on the scalp and the hair that's why I switched to Creme of Nature straight from Eden and regular but find something that is very gentle on your scalp and your hair I hope the Mizani works for you thank you so much God bless

A Mitchell: Thank you for your honesty.

ivy M: It’s so sad that black women go through this . Mines has done this twice in my lifetime . The things we black women endure . Omg. Many blessings

Marie Golden: I feel you sister and incidentally I'm also feel I'm having trouble with my relaxed hair just when I thought I had gained mastery over major issues. I think the back of my hair looks way worse than yours and I'm feeling . So I told me.... I can't give up I must keep working at it I will cut when I need to and keep going. So dear don't give but remember to do what's best for you.

Khoza: this was a really great video! thanks for sharing .

Forever Reign: Love.... it seems as though you like to add a whole lot of HEAT to your head chill out on some of that HEAT especially with RELAXED hair..just once a week and with silk wrap and deep conditioning once a week and and you can put the heat on hair when you deep conditioning one time a week then a slik wrap and leave alone until next following week RELAX YOUR HAIR ONE TIME A YEAR NOT EVERY 3 TO 5 MONTHS AND NO STORE BOUGHT PERMS ONLY STYLIST PERMS .MY HAIR IS TO MY LOWER BACK TRUST ME ITS WORKS ..good luck

AN Rho: I just recently watched a video from Tierra J beauty. Putting oils on your hair before heat fries it. Design Essentials sickening serum is awesome before blow drying and flat iron. The whole line is amazing

Zihle Febana: when the struggle is real!!!

Delcenia Smith: No lye relaxers will eventually leave a residue on your hair and you will have to use a certain shampoo to get rid of the calcium buildup which appears to me to be drying your hair and causing breakage, then when your applying heat its like your applying heat to the buildup on your hair which causes more damage. Try lye relaxers or no mix/base relaxers which have a different chemical that won't leave this buildup on your hair and its gentle on the hair but will burn your scalp if left on so you may want help with this if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. Understanding our hair and what works best on our hair is the best lesson when using relaxers!

ivy M: The things us black women go through . I can resonate . Mines was beautiful , long, and thick in 2017. It was down to my back . And ALL OF A SUDDEN it begin to break off . I have no idea how. I I’m not sure if my prior stylist has anything to do with it . I now have a new stylist and it’s doing good now. It’s like neck length. It’s still damaged in some areas, but I have faith it’ll be healed. Best of luck to you . If we had it once we’ll have it again ⭐️⭐️

FM O: Do a big chop and start all over again. Take hair vits and keep your hair hydrated. I think you may have over processed your hair, your hair was lacking moisture and elasticity and you were doing too much styling and not doing enough treatments. Never relax your own hair too, only go to a professional. It will grow back. X

Helen Yonas: Use rice water it will help your hair grow back my hair is relaxed I keep using rice water it makes my hair very long and thick every week I use it your hair will grow

women in the know: If you stop blowdrying with the comb attachment and flat ironing, then you would have much less breakage. Air dry and use a wide tooth comb. Moisturize and seal an put you r hair away in a bun. Good luck! All the tugging breaks hair

Shadow Starlight 201831: High heat and relaxers are very bad for hair anyway. There's no way to stay permanently straight. Theres no way to avoid heat damage 100%.

Acknowledge Almighty: Relax hair is harder to take care of it is more fragile than natural hair every time you blow dry and flat iron that hair is going to eventually come out.

Billy's Angel: Go to a professional please! You don’t understand your hair and what it needs. A professional will help you assess your hair needs. If you’re in London try this salon in Peckam, Kosit Hair they are really good at hair relaxing. To get hair pressed professionally go to Stockwell, Elite Hair Lounge. And you’re right about diet, change your ways you’ll be fine.

Nightfox Rushing: Blame everything except the relaxer. If you want to relax your hair and you love relaxing your hair... just do it. ☕

Christine Awuor: Oi Jesus, the crack was absolutely not for me.. I ended up with 2 strands of hair but mainly because I did not know how to take care of my hair, taking too long to relax and naturally having thin hair but people have been able to grow their hair with it.. So good luck. Oh yeah the different textures was one of the most frustrating and painful thing ever, therefore do not air dry..just have your hair in one texture as much as possible. All the best.

Lilmisskandi: Mizani relaxers broke my hair off. I wonder if you reacted the same? Back to ORS now.

Tanya Harris: I’m having tha same problems wit my hair, it’s breaking off so bad around tha front n sides of my hair, not sure wat I’m doing wrong either smh

carmenetia jordan: My hair did the same thing but I was going by another remedy and I use different perm Optimum is what I used but I went with cheaper perm and I tried stretch out relaxer my hair paid the price.. So I decide stick with same perm. Stop using different remedies that work for others not my hair.. Our hair have different type what work for other may not work for use... So I'm like you back square one..

Nicke Smith: People will you please stop self- relaxing your hair. It's a chemical and most of us honestly don't know what we are doing. Relaxed hair need professional upkeep and professional products. Treating your hair is essential. Bi-monthly trims are essential. Moisturizing your hair, Oiling your scalp is essential, rollersets, wraps and using leave in treatments and less heat is all essential. My relaxed hair was last my bra strap before I transitioned to natural hair. I am looking to go back to relaxers.

L.Mccall: Mayo and egg treatment works!

Shana Salmon: Sometimes when ur hair is use to something n u change it thinking it would b good for ur hair weither relax r natural sometimes it just affect ur hair more, stress can cuz breakage a lot too I was stressed one n my hair fell like rain but the good thing was my hair was still full n not looked damage, it will grow bk no worries it will grow bk.

Marecia Dewar: Deep conditioning and alternate with protein treatments.

L: That was Wella luxe oil btw and 4/5 pumps!

Queen TV: I noticed your hair thrived with heat...maybe you have low porosity hair and the heat allowed your cuticles to open and except moisture ...

Jo Daviel: I understand you sis.

ladynefertitibk: Boy do I understand what your going through. I'm having a slow come back myself. What is the name of the song playing?

Julia Beauty and Style: you can go natural nothing wrong with that.

Regina Stevenson-Swint: Did you do a protein treatment?

ChristyJane: I love your lipstick! What is it?

NiñaPreciosa: Air dry is the worst for relaxed hair My opinion !!!!!!

Cee J: Try rollersetting your hair instead

Nightfox Rushing: Go natural

MIRAGE BEAUTY SUPPLY: Ever tried just doing rollersets?

Krystal Smith: Someone told me that no lye relaxers are the worst. I think thats true because i remember when i relaxed my hair it broke of when i use the no lye.

Dee: STOP USING HEAT

Ayana Sioux: I haven't been watching hair videos in a long time, but I'm noticing these relaxer journeys all end the same with relaxed girls hair continuously breaking off. Not sure why it's even a trend. Imagine if white women had a perm journey and their hair literally continuously fell out from the tightly curled perms, yet they continued to do it, hoping it would grow out. wouldn't you think that was insane? They say insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting something different, only to get the same result. I say just go natural, and ask yourself why did you REALLY like being relaxed. Anyway, you probably wouldn't care about this comment.

FallnAngel07: Sis, stop relaxing. It's damaging your hair.

Lilmisskandi: The natural hair nazis are laughing too hard at these relaxed girls regrets

Homes for HUMANS: Your hair broke off because you Relaxed it, nothing else lol
