Hey guys welcome to my channel, so I'm just going to jump right into this bantu knot tutorial but turned out to be a fail. So what I'm doing right now is just showing you guys on all my bantu knots that I had already done off-camera and I'm just showing you on camera, how I twist it I first detangled my hair. I put some moisturizing pink lotion on my hair. I also put some coconut oil and a few more oils on my hair just to make sure of this moisturize really good. Before I ran to it up and as you can see, I'm just twisting twisting twisting until it becomes a firm bantu knot. You next, I grab my blow dryer and start blow drying my into knots. It'S wet because of the product and it's also wet because I had just washed it. I did let my hair air dry for about an hour before I went to put the bantu knots in, but my hair takes forever to dry. So I got the blow dryer and just blow dried it, so I can make sure that it would be dry in the morning, and now I just put my silk scarf on along with my bonnet so the next morning I grab my coconut oil and I am Ready to take off my scarf and my bonnet and get to styling, so I grabbed my coconut oil and I rub it on my fingertips so that there will be less frizz as I'm taking down my bantu knots, but even after everything that I did, my hair Was still wet and you can see - I was not happy about that, so I proceeded to twist it on back. Oh, oh, I grabbed my hot6 oil and spray that all over the bantu knots before I take them down for extra shine and extra moisture. It'S also make sure that they don't frizz, so this next clip you see guys is freaking three or four days later. Yes, I did leave it in for a very long time, because I wanted it to dry and, to be honest, the second day still wasn't dry. So, as you can see, the knots have turned out beautiful they're, bouncy they're tight, just like I wanted it, and I believe that giving it in for longer than one or two days was the best decision for me in my hair. So I was happy with this part of the process. I was very happy one of the knots in the back. I guess it wasn't knotted tight enough, so it's a little looser than the other ones, but that was okay. I was still very satisfied with this process. As I said, you can see the luster of my hair, you can see the shine, it's beautiful, the bantu knots turned out great and I just loved them, and I wanted to give you guys a close-up, so you can see the texture and the shine you. So here is where things get a little bit scary, as I start to take them out. I don't know, I really don't know what happened guys like it just got straight. Some of the pieces were straight which what I was very confused about, and it just it was ugly frizzy. It just was not cute at all. I didn't like it as you can see here, it was just ridiculously wild. I think I was going for a more defined look. A defined curl like it was in when I untwisted the bantu knots, but when I started to separate them is when things got ugly, so here I was trying to fill it out. Maybe I was, I thought. Maybe I was you know, exaggerating with not liking it, so I'm like trying different lifestyles doing the different little things with it, trying to puff it out, trying to toss it to the side toss up the outside. Like guys, I did so much to my hair. Just trying to like it, but nothing worked, and I didn't like it. It just never turned out the way I wanted it to I wore it a day after this and I washed it out. I do not think I'm going to ever. Do them not in my hair anymore, I'm more for sleek in more mature style, but I don't think I like this curly look anymore. So I'll see you guys in my next video thanks so much for watching

ESSNTL: It actually turned out really good!

C.J. Hamilton: Girl!!! I expected to see a mess. This came out so good I was really surprised

pinkskyies: Nothing was wrong with your hair. I really loved it.

seffie71: you're crazy girl!! that was STUNNING!!! absolutely beautiful. I wish my hair would do that

Naledi Lopang: I was confused because I LOVEDDDDD it !!!

Joy E.: Girl your hair turned out great! I do this style myself all the time and so i recommend that when you do it, start from the back and work your way up to the front, and do very neat sections. Also, twist all the way down to the very end. This will help prevent the straight pieces. The style also works fine on fresh washed 90% dry hair bc your hair is relaxed. But girl honestly it turned out beautifully and the way you do it is fine!

Sisters 4 Christ impacted to empower: That looks beautiful and it fits you really well. That's the look Ive been trying to get.

Miz Honey: Agree with everyone else it looked beautiful. I’m definitely gonna give it a try!!!

Brooklyn: This is literally the best Bantu knot out I've ever seen on YouTube

Vanessa Watkins-Morris: It wasn't ugly it just wasn't what you envisioned. I did this like a year ago and the same thing happened.

KeShowna Allen: Hello! If you do decide to try it again use a little foam setting lotion to help keep the definition. Not a lot. I am pretty sure someone else have said something already since I didn't read the comments. But i have had this problem too when I first started doing them, I found out that it helps when I did pull them apart. I hope this helps.

Jada Ashby: It turned out so pretty on your hair

Malnourished Chicken: This was so pleasing to watch

Silvia Dwomoh: this style came out really nice !!!

Mia Sanders: More "mature style"? A knot out is certainly mature. Straight hair does not equal immature

Shadean Millen: I'm relaxed at shoulder length and whenever I do Bantu knots and comb it out ppl always think I'm natural...I use Bantu knots to achieve some natural hair hairstyles

Cakeybunny69: Aww i love it!! It looks really good on you especially when you flipped that piece over to the side ... next time though just part it bigger and make less knots... that was my issue when I wasn't really feeling it...so then I tried doing like just 6-8 knots and I really loved it

Phyllis Pires: It was beautiful!

shyneice mayeux: I love bantu knots. Much easier than rollers or perm rods for a natural curly look :) and better to sleep on

Sonya Gaskins: It Looks great!!

Andrea T: Wow! It actually came out really nice.

Denysha Dials: It wasn't too wild for my taste, but I will say that I wouldn't have used so many oily products during and after setting them. At the very least, your original application was probably fine. I use just a little water and coconut oil, little flax seed gel, and very little Shea butter to seal it in. I also have about 7 knots max and they're never super tight, just enough to keep the right shape and I don't twist the very ends of my hair because it ends up looking 'crinkly' not smooth. I think the tightness is why they didn't dry. It took a while for me to find the happy medium for 'tightness and wetness'. I hope you'll consider trying it again! If I had to pick from your product list in this tutorial, then I would use your serum or an oil (not both) on top of just a little light wrapping mousse and that's it. : )

Brianna Jenkins: I think you should try bigger bantu knots.

Top Self: So beautiful

Shawnte' Tiara: Maybe it was the way you twisted it before putting it in the knot. Instead of twisting as you twirl it into a knot.

Jael Islove: It's actually really pretty

ONVII: you should do it after you wash and blow dry it so it’s puffy and don’t put anything on it so it doesn’t become all stringy and in bits. and don’t put it in too tight so that the curls will look kinda frizzy but cute. comb through it a bit as well but not so you ruin the curls

Joanna Langdon: damn nice length

Sherieka Brown: you look so cuteee!

Lady Ez: I can see why you said it was a fail, but you made the best out of a difficult situation. When u get lemons....u make lemonade.... Poor baby, you handle it like a champ.

LaVonda DeBrito: Gawgeous!

Blasian Doll: It's kinda funny she said she's for " more mature and sleek looks " naturally curly hair / curly hair in general is way more mature in my opinion.

Sabrina Gardner: Totally agree. That style just wasn’t it.

Keamber Dixon: It’s the way you took them down that made them look like that. As you take them a loose and separate them you should curl it back up with your finger.
