I have never done this before. I really didn't think my hair. Could air dry, like this, hey guys welcome back to our channel. It'S me evany for this video, I'm about to do something. I'Ve never really done with my hair in my relaxed hair journey, and that has let my hair air dry straight and now would be a good time to do it, because I am fresh off a relaxer like two months post. I was just like this. Is the perfect time to do it, and also I'm using healthy hair, took this video as a reference point for this? A couple of you guys coming in our videos, saying that we should follow that hair tutorial where she air dries her hair - and I looked on my channel like this - it's perfect right here to relax my hair could do that too. I will say that this is a process. It takes time. It'S a good idea, it's a good method to use. If you want to cut down on your heat, maybe you plan on flat ironing your hair, but you don't want to use them. A blow-dryer hold double heat situations, yeah, I'm all for it, but just know it takes time. I did wash my hair before doing this. I used the mono luce, keratin, shampoo and conditioner line. If you guys remember my last relaxer update, I said I'm gon na do more protein based products, put more that in my hair, and so here we are but yeah. I did do that in the shower. So that's the purpose, videos. So let's go ahead and get started, so this is my hair straight out of the shower. I just finished conditioning it. I detangle brows conditioning it. So that's why it looks like this and yeah all ready to go. I'M taking this Aki's towel. It'S a hair! Towel brand, that's really good it just soaks up a lot of water in your hair and no frizz no damage. But if you have a t-shirt, that's fine as well! While my hair is air drying for about two minutes. I kind of figured that the key to having a kind of already straight is to detangle. Well, you are positioning in the shower that actually helps with breakage, but when you come out, you're here is pretty much already detangle, while it's drying underneath here you're tingling beforehand. Really this help and my hair is kind of already have that straight base. That'S what I'm thinking and we'll see how that goes guys. This is so wild. I have never done this before. Usually, when I do these type of things and never Lee comes out to with I want it to be, but I'm pretty confident that it'll work Oh rolling out, okay, so my two minutes are up and that towel was basically just to get my hair into. Like a damp stage and not soaking wet so I'm gon na go in with the leave-in conditioner from the Mona Luce line and just spray that in my hair it detangles and everything, because my hair is gon na, be damp. When I do this, so it's a lot better and you'll notice throughout the video I'm gon na be detangling with that paddle brush and that comb they are carico brushes and combs, and they're really good at detangling they're actually called tangle Buster's from carico. So I have those linked below if you want to check them out, but they are amazing and they're, really gentle when it comes to detangling your hair, especially relaxed here, all right, I'm done and we're about to start the first of what I think is mini air Drying stages, but first of all check out my edges and then you're gon na see the power of a satin scarf in about 20-25 minutes. But I'm just gon na put my satin scarf on the edges of my hair and then I'm just gon na go ahead and detangle a little bit more and that's just to really kind of get my hair straight. As you can see, it's starting to you know, get a little bit more straighter and not as curly, but that's my goal, while detangling 20 minutes I'm just gon na finger detangle because I don't know, I feel like it's just a lot of manipulation with home niggard. The team is just gon na help; it help keep it detangled as its drying, so got about 15 minutes to go. You know what is this all that work I did and getting it straight in this still was to be curly. Alright, my 20 minutes are up and you can see along my edge line. It'S a big difference from what you saw before the scarf went on. I'M gon na go in with a cream leavin, so just kind of moisturize. My hair I like leaving, conditioners and makes my hair a lot softer and then more detangling. I know it's a lot of manipulation, but I'm being gentle with it and those combs aren't yanking my hair out, so we're good. Now we got to do this. Another 30 minutes that's right round to 30 minutes with the satin scarf along my edge line. Let'S do this the next time you see me my hair should pretty much be all the way dry. You know this is a long process. Definitely do this. We have nowhere to go. I'M doing this at night on my day off. All I can do is just definitely do this when you have nowhere to be, you just have the day off come at night or something because this all right, so it's actually 45 minutes. I did it and my hair is actually almost dry about 90 % dry, so I'm just gon na take a moisturizer and put it all throughout my hair, I'm using the anti breakage lotion from smooth and shine and after that and go in with the mono Lucia Keratin argan oil just to add some shine and to lock in the moisture to that I just put on there and according to help the hair junkie. If you put that on your hair, when it's like almost dry, your hair won't feel weighed down when it completely dries. So I'm gon na do this. It'S just there's a lot of product that I'm not used to, but we'll see in the morning how it goes. I'M doing a cross wrap by the way cuz it's a lot easier with my hair, half well nine percent dry, and with that I'm gon na go to sleep okay, so here it is the next morning it's completely dry. Big reveal. I had to wear this over tops. I knew the scarf has been like nice. Oh, my look, my hands could just go through it, so the top part of my hair is really soft and smooth towards the ends. It gets a little dry made from like here onto here. I usually just like put some of this Jane Carter solution of restorative butter. Are you put on my ends anyway? It'S like the best things happen to your ends, if you guys want to, but my roots back here, I do feel like really quali curls and that's definitely the new growth that didn't air dry out. Sudeerneer dress straight, but because I'm only two months post, only okay um, so some people that's a lot, but no I've got a ways to go before I get another lexer but anyway, because all I do must post the new growth. Isn'T bothering me that much I so that's basically what it is, but I can still like run my fingers through it. There'S gon na be a little bit careful with it. I really didn't think my hair cut air dry like this definitely gon na. Wear it like this for a few days and then I'm gon na go in with my own flat iron. Just make a few passes not even alive, but couple passes if that, just to kind of smooth everything down which is already smooth. But you know we love our hair going straight, but the way I'm gon na flat iron is just not gon na be super bone straight it'll just to be a lot more smoother yeah. I'M a fan, this method, I'm a fan, blow-drying, if you guys like. I said this is a great option if you guys have to kind of cut back on heat, follow this video, I felt healthy, hair junkie. Her video is like the perfect tutorial for that, and I just followed it as much as I could and what works for me. So yeah you guys air dry like this or you have a different method drop it in the comments below, because I am looking at this. I only found out about healthy hair junkie for one of y'all y'all left in the comment section. So go to the comments section meet me there. Let me know what you guys do. Thank you so much for watching you could catch up on our past hair videos. You have a lot of good hair videos so make sure you check them out and I'll see. You guys next Sunday bye

Deidre D: This was an interesting video. When I air dry ; I simply put the products on and detangle and cross wrap the one time and it turns out the same as yours did. A little less manipulation but same concept. Great video

RitaMay June: Great results... I’ve been trying air drying but after 2 hours I give up and buss out my blow dryer lol.

Max Germain: Great video! I air dry often. The key for me is to use a generous amount of moisturizer. Add my other leave- ins and oils. Next, detangle with a wide tooth comb and then gently detangle w a smaller tooth comb. When my hair is 90% dry I moisturize and seal. Comb it and then brush it w a Denman brush or paddle brush. Finally, pin my hair up into a bun and tie it with a silk scarf. Comes out super straight.

Lynnet Ruiz: Hi! Thanks for another great video!! I air dry all the time and I love it! I dont follow all those steps though..after I finish deep conditioning, I t-shirt dry for about 10 mins, put a liquid leave in on and leave it alone for about 20 mins..then I seal with an oil while I comb out any tangles. It dries about an hour after that with a scarf to lay the edges down..My hair is much shorter compared to yours though but I find that this leaves my hair thicker than when I blow dry..I love your hair and thank you for your patience esp since you haven’t done it before! God bless and keep it up. :)

Kim Jegede: I also follow the healthy hair junkie for air drying, I use the same products she does and it turns out well. The scarf on the hair line is the best. I wash and air dry my hair every two weeks, it's a long process but I prefer it to blow drying and it gives my hair some body which I love. Your hair looked great thanks for the video.

Chinyere Fidelis: Wow, this is actually the first time air drying your hair? Now I know why hair YouTube's don't retain length fast despite their routines and multiple product haul. I started relaxed hair journey 5 years ago after watching you guys and several others and I've only blow dried my hair twice. My hair is on my tailbone. And funny thing is, my routine is simple with very few products. Can we learn to leave our hair Alone to do its job

Ronada Noel: I air dry my hair all the time but I don't do all those step, I usually just detangle it with a comb and put some leave in conditioner and I go to sleep.great video

Missy Love: I air dry my hair but I can't do it straight. I don't think that would work well for me. My ends always dry first and they can get frizzy. But your hair turned out beautifully!!❤....You really did a good job.

melissa silva: Hey 1st Hi Ebony. I do that a lot! Haven't had heat since June 2018 wow!! Just comb and leave in conditioner and boom air dry!! Though mines take sooo long to air dry but hey, I managed to do low manipulation and no heat! Still nice almost straight look!

Rebekah Joseph: I air dry my hair all the time and only flat iron when I am getting a fresh relaxer. I actually sit infront of my fan on high without rotation and that helps with the air drying. #firstonhere #firsttimeithisearly

Csb1289: I'll try this on a fresh relaxer and for those first 4-5 weeks. My hair is too dense to not blow out my new growth!

Yolande Jackson: Nice. I love those clips like I use them for my four part section on wash day and I use them for laundry clamps. When I relaxed there was always this like wave of curls in the back I'd be reaching back there running fingers through when in deep thought like...it's time nope it's not. I refuse too do it now...thinking about how too wrap is flat next time especially since it's washed...that was me in class looking at the board while teacher lectures for a quiz.

Tiffani B: Great Content!! I air dry but only on flexi rod when cutting back on the heat . So week on the flexi rod ( my goal) and Week on the roller set and flat iron ( on this week I do A protein treatment) . You know I have been seeing curly Proverbs do Ayurvedic Herbs. Yes, she is Natural. I have seen a few Relaxer Hair ladies with Ayurvedic Herbs. What do yo all think?

Mickey XOXO: I LOATHE air drying!! I get so much breakage from it

Vala Dina: Q: how often should relax my hair? I'm sorry but that just takes too long I rather use a blow-dryer you are a great sport at going through that process so calmly

Sierra LaFaye: The results are so nice

Cee J: I also tried this but it was an epic fail for me, i think i have too much texture as i texlax my hair. My edges were straight as well. I think I'll stick to my roller sets to air dry.

Guy Dby: I haven't been using heat to dry my hair for a long time (my hair is natural), because it attacks the hair fibre, making the hair dry and brittle. Air-drying is the most respectful and gentle way to dry hair. I have never understood why most girls who relax their hair use heat to straighten it even more, knowing that straightening destroys the di-sulphide bonds that bind the cystine chains together and give the hair its original curl. Adding more heat damages it even more, I really don't understand why straightening and systematically using heat behind (???).

Rachel Harris: I’m gonna try this tomorrow. I pray this works

GN: I love the way you express yourself and you’re very pretty. God bless you

Christina Done: My hair is straight like yours but when I air dry it, it gets so big and when I part it I can’t even see my scalp but some of that is due to my new growth and me needing a touch up on my relaxer.

JMocha 74: Your hair come out nice for first time air drying! I have that same brush to from Kareco. It gets the job done.

R Mobley: I'm a big fan of air drying and your hair looks great. I don't put no heat in my hair except when deep conditioning because I have low porosity hair.

Anthony Bussey: Washed and conditioned like you normally do get you a leave-in spray conditioner comb your hair straight back if you want to lay down get a satin durag make sure your hair is damp not soaking wet when it gets halfway dry then put your moisturizer in coming through braided twisted leave it alone and put your durag back on it next morning you'll see the difference but it takes time for your hair to adjust to air drying I do it all the time my hair is the same length as yours.

Lisa Hassell-Gates: Should have wrapped it! That what i do. Comes out beautiful

Dorica Shu: Do you have advice for underprocessed hair ? I wanted to relax but it turned out to be texlaxed . I'm 6 week post and wants to relax my hair again

K M: NICE, LONG, HEALTHY GOD GIVEN HAIR!!!

NaturallyCorporate: Cool! Do you think you’ll incorporate this into your routine?

Candiblue: Your hair looks great air dryed and it's better this way without the heat I too air dry my hair.

FeFe Pad: I am going to try it for sure

Ms Ms: Really interesting. I would love you to get your done by Deeper Than Hair she is a fantastic hairdresser not sure where she is based in the USA.

Bee Lee: Have you ever done roller sets? I’d love to see your hair with voluminous curls and not bone straight, check out Peggy Pegs roller sets on YouTube

K M: I AIR DRY EVERY TIME. I PREPOO/CONDITION/SHAMPOO MY HAIR.... WHICH IS #EVERY WEEK ...IT MAKES IT THICKER AND FULLER!!!!!!

Annette Williams: Because I do flat iron my relaxed hair after washing it....i always air dry

Lynelle L.: Hey, Ladies, it was nice meeting you in person today at Lesia's Salon.

From Darkness to Light Scriptures: Great video

Dialos the Offence Giver: The instrumental while you're air drying sounds like "Cry me a River"

Theresa M. aka 50Plus2013: . Thank you for visiting my channel

Beryl Robinson: Do you relax your own hair?
