Today, we'll be sharing one of the reasons why your natural hair may be shedding excessively, and this is mostly not talked about welcome to the red pearls family. My name is benedicta, as we've previously mentioned on this channel. Our natural hair goes through three main phases and sometimes four phases of growth. We have the growth phase, the rest phase fall, and sometimes our hair follicles prepares for new growth. Hair shading is a naturally induced process, regardless of the efficacy of your hair care. Regimen light shedding reflects normal, healthy scalp functioning. Once our hair completes its growth phase, it will naturally fall. It must be noted here that shed hair always has a white bulb attachment. However, sometimes the shedding may be excessive and may be triggered by stress, delivery or other medical related conditions. Increased levels of the hormone dht may shrink our hair follicles shorten the growth phase and lead to excessive shedding. As you may recall, increased level of dht facilitates excessive shedding, therefore, using coffee, black tea or, in some cases, green tea will help reduce this as it contains caffeine, which blocks the hormone dht out of the three cafe is known to contain the highest amount of caffeine, Followed by black tea and then green tea, you can build some fresh coffee or tea following the instructions on the packaging. Allow it to cool down, pour it into a bottle for ease of application. There are two ways of applying the coffee or tea. You can either apply it before you apply a deep conditioner or after rinsing out your deep conditioner. However, we like to apply it before using our deep conditioner, as it tends to dry out the hair, apply the tea or coffee to only your scalp after shampooing, your hair gently, massage it in cover your hair with a cup and then rinse your hair with water. After about 20 to 25 minutes, you may then proceed to deep conditioning your hair after this, as i mentioned earlier, this can dry out your hair and must be done once in a while. Another important step to incorporate into your regimen is massaging your scalp with castor oil before shampooing, castor oil is known to have antibacterial and antifungal benefits and also stimulates the hair follicles. Please share with us how you reduce or prevent excessive shedding, and if you found this video helpful, kindly subscribe like and share with your friends and family, you are a repel because you are precious see you in the next one. Bye,
